Fury

As Sergeant-at-Arms of the Untamed Sons, my job is simple. Kill anyone who tries to hurt the club. Bleeding a man is the only thing that keeps me level, until I meet her. Amalia is not like any woman I've come across and when I'm with her my fear of being touched disappears. Stalking her might have been a bad decision, but keeping away from her isn't my choice. I can't breathe when she's away from me, and i can't stand the thought of something happening to her, so when she gets in trouble, my only thought is on protecting what's mine.

Amalia

Falling for my stalker might be a mistake, but I can't stop being drawn to Fury. I see his demons and the darkness that swirls around him, but I don't care. I want him, and nothing is going to stop me from having him. When I witness a murder, my only choice is to go to the only man i know will protect me, even if that puts him and his club in the firing line.

''I found something real that's out of reach for me''

Safety warnings:
- H 50 / h 20s
- No cheating
- No OW/OM drama
- Child s*xual/physical abuse
- Child neglect
- Loss of loved one
- Torture/violence/d*ath
- Trauma
- Drug abuse
- Stalking
- HEA

SO there are mentions of them having moments prior to this book starting and I was super confused by it never being mentioned more or having a flashback, I discovered that there is a novella prior to this book that can be read for free called ''Infatuation'' and it should be read BEFORE this book which I did not do! It will answer a few bits of things that are mentioned in this book that need more clarifications about their past meetings.

SPOILERS BELOW ⬇️

SPOILERS BELOW ⬇️

This book is darker than the other books in this series.

Is Fury's book my favorite out of all the books in this series? Yes
Am I shocked? No
Did I know he would be phenomenal from the moment we were introduced to him in book 1? Yes

Fury has had the most mysterious aura around him from the second we were told about him. We only knew a few things:
1) He hates being touched and never has anyone touch him
2) He is sadistic and enjoys killing and torturing people
3) He cannot stand needles
4) He is never seen with a woman

All these questions regarding him and more are answered in this book and it's tough to get by.

We find out that Fury as a young boy (way too young) was living with his drug addicted mother who also was a prostitute. She hated him and was physically abusive towards him, but it was not the only thing she allowed She allowed men to come into her home and r*pe him. He spends years having men come and go and hurt him until one day he has enough at 9 years old and stabs one.

He spends the rest of his teen years in and out of foster homes and the system until he ends up with the club. So here are the answers to the above facts:

1) He does not any relations or sexual attraction towards women after his abuse.
2) He has a massive need to kill and torture as blood gives him a high and if he had not been with the MC then he would have been a serial killer
3) He watched his mother inject herself with needles for years and also had him be forced to be injected to allow the abuse

Enter Amalia. She ends up being at the wrong place wrong time 4 years ago and witnesses someone being killed, Fury doesn’t allow for Sin to kill her and instead makes sure she never speaks to the police, and she never does. This causes him to basically stalk her for years. Sadly, her brother is killed by someone, and she runs off and seeks shelter with Fury who immediately jumps into action to protect her and find out what happened.

Amalia calms him down and eases his mind from the blood lust. She is the only one he ever allows to touch him and actually likes it. Once they get together and they sleep together for the first time it was so intense.

These two are also angsty as hell as he wants to push her away because he views himself as a monster, but she seems the man she loves. She is so patient with him and allows him to set his own pace with them.

I loved watching his OTT attitude towards her and how obsessed he was. Neither had a great childhood but they found peace within each other and that was all that Fury needed tbh.

The book ends with Fury and Amalia attending the monthly BBQ and Fury wishing for something he never thought he wanted, a child. Which Amalia happily lets him know it's happening already haha

A few things that blew my mind:
He is 50!! Its never mentioned prior to this book and it's just casually put in there in ONE short sentence. I'm not sure about her age but I am desperate to ask Jessica to see if she will tell me.
I did not think this was an AGE GAP that massive. He seemed to me in his late 20s or mid 30s. So this blew my mind!

I’m not the kind of monster you care about. I’m the beast you hide from. I’m the monster you tell your kids to avoid. I’m the darkness that engulfs the light.

5 stars!
**Trigger warning: child abuse, child rape, drug abuse, strong language, MC violence and gore**

I have been waiting for Fury's book since we first met him in book one of the series, so when this ARC dropped into my kindle yesterday I immediately started reading. This series is not for the faint of heart and Fury's book is no different as there was a lot of heavy and dark themes contained in Fury's past that made him the stoic and sadistic man he is today.
He’s like my guardian angel, only this one sits outside my flat watching me and is robed in darkness. I can see the way it swirls around him, like a black tornado, destroying everything in its path.

Even though this novel could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the prequel, INFATUATION, first because it provides a great backstory to Amalia and Fury's complicated relationship. Fury has so much pain in past and has learned to build up walls to protect himself...from everyone but Amalia. I loved how gentle and understanding Amalia was with Fury, and I loved how possessive yet caring Fury was with Amalia. They really balanced each other out, and their story was filled with so many oh shit twists that I didn't see coming. In the end, their love story was absolutely beautiful, and I have to say this is my favorite in the series so far ♡

I’ve been dying to read Fury’s love story ever since we met him in Book 1. He’s the most fascinating of the Untamed Sons. It’s clear that there’s a lot more to him than meets the eye, and Ames does not disappoint with his POV! I was incredibly curious to see who Fury would be paired up with. He’s damaged almost beyond repair, and Amalia is the perfect match for him. She hasn’t had the easiest life, but she has just the right amount of softness and empathy for her personality to complement Fury’s perfectly.
While Fury and Amalia first meet in the short story “Infatuation”, it’s not 100% necessary to read that story first, as everything that happened is recapped in this book. This book is a fast-paced romantic suspense with pitch-black dark moments. Ames ordinarily does not shy away from the blood-shed, and there is a lot of it in this book.
I absolutely adored Fury and Amalia’s love story!

Absolutely perfect!!!!

This book is absolutely one of my favorites this year, a troubled hero afraid of touch but with the same shadow of the devil, and a heroine willing to just be for him; they are the perfect match.

I just hope to find more books like this one, if you have anything for me, please leave them in the comments!!

I'm disappointed.. the novella was better. I don't understand how you can write a book thinking that they love each other if they don't know anything about the other. They didn't spend time together outside the plot, they don't even know each other's past and their age.
It was only mentioned in the pov which is disappointing.

"Fury isn’t all you are. You’re so much more than that.”

Fury is another wonderful continuation of Jessica Ames' Untamed Sons series. It is book 6 and while I've read the whole series, it definitely can be read as a standalone.

Fury is the heartbreaking story about how a completely broken man can find his Angel and make the difficult journey to finding a semblance of peace and a big slice of happiness. Fury is an anti hero that has only known violence and doesn't understand the pull toward Amalia . He's possessive , stalker-y, and will do whatever needs to be done to keep her safe. Amelia has seen enough pain in her life to know that the devil is chasing Fury. Despite this, she knows he's the one to run to when trouble comes knocking on her door. A heart wrenching story with tons of action and no unnecessary relationship drama. Awesome read and I can't wait for the next one!!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: second chance
Angst: 😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥
Triggers: implied sexual assault of a child

Felt disjointed??

After reading the prequel about Fury and Amalia in an anthology I’m forgetting which one now, I was craving for more. Never read anything by this author before but I was excited to get my hands on a new MC series and started with book 6. It reads like a standalone, but it’d probably help if I read them in order, since there’s a lot of reference to prior ongoings. This story as a whole felt amateurish at best. The dialogue was cringe. The characters repeated their inner monologue continuously throughout the entire story. We get it, they’re both tapped in the head. It wasn’t believable. Their connection felt forced. The side characters seemed wooden. It wasn’t all that interesting or exciting. I skimmed a lot of this story, just to get to their HEA. The endings cute. But everyone needs counseling and that never once comes up. Won’t be continuing with this series.

Like a lot, but don't love it

I really like this series, the characters are likable and the men are fierce protectors, I feel like there could be more story, more in detail of the daily life and relationship with the other characters, it doesn't completely draw me and make me part of their world.
Almost there, but still missing something.

I'll be the first to say I'm a masochist when it comes to my book boyfriends. I like the ones who are either torturing themselves internally or torturing the one they love. And in the case of Fury and Amelia... it's both! Having stopped Amelia's imminent death at the hands of one of his club brothers, Fury feels a need to protect her at all costs. Yes, that need sometimes leads him to lurk in the shadows outside her house at night, and sometimes even break down doors to ensure her safety. Who wouldn't love a guy like that? And Amelia, while sort of innocent, isn't as naïve as you would think. She wants Fury, but can't articulate it into words that he'll understand. But when she's in trouble, Fury is there. And when the club sees that Fury is different with Amelia, and that Amelia is the calm in the eye of the Fury storm, they bring her into the Untamed Sons family. This is another great addition to the series. This author has definitely found her place among great MC series writers and I can't wait to get more from her.

The Untamed Sons MC just keeps getting darker and hotter and a more compelling read with each book. The definition of Fury could have been made just for him, passion, rage, anger, temper, violence, and turbulence, this story contents it all.

Fury's fate was sealed at a young age, and from then on his outlet is blood, the only person who he feels any peace around is Amalia, the one woman he can't have. For years he watches Amalia from afar, his sole purpose is to keep her safe. Amalia knows that Fury is always watching, she senses the darkness inside of him and knows it is wrong to be drawn to this complex man, but she feels something for Fury that she tries to keep buried. When Fury and Amalia are thrown together, the sizing hot chemistry is about to combust and the pair finally have to confront their feelings for each other, unfortunately, time is running out, as mayhem explodes all around them.

Fury and Amalia have the tragic pasts that connect them in ways that as a reader you are emotionally and fully bound to them.

It's a rough road for them but all the horrors lead them to finding the kind of peace that only a kindred soul can understand. I love them together. The fears and depths of their love and bond gave me all the good vibes along with anger. It's that kind of story. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

I’ve been waiting for Fury for so looonng but it was well worth the wait. He is the SAA for the club and a tortured soul. That means he will protect his family fiercely. Amalia is in the wrong place at the wrong time so she runs to the man that she hopes will protect her- Fury. The chemistry between Amalia and Fury is on fire, they compliment each other so well. This story is action packed and filled with suspense so you better buckle up!!

This is the 6th book in the Untamed Sons MC. I am new to this author and I had not read the previous 5 books. I think that would have helped greatly. Having read and enjoyed Fury’s story I will go back. His story touched my heart. Fury is this big, sweet, kind hearted guy who finally, after so much heartbreaks finds love with Amalia. Amalia is not only a partner but his friend. At first he just doesn’t know what to do with his feelings for her and is overwhelmed. She has also had a difficult and hard life so it was so good to see them both happy.

My heart was broken for Fury long before I knew his story. I just wanted to wrap my arms around him and give him some love, but knew better then to touch him. He is literally the untouchable SoA and has a blood lust like none other. He will kill with no remorse and on command until he sees Amalia.

He has watched her from afar for longer then he should have, but something keeps drawing him to her. She calms his blood beast without asking for anything in return. So when a situation arises and she needs his help, he is all in. Anyone who touches his woman will meet the edge of Fury's knife. **** Sigh****

I love the Untamed Sons and this was one of my favs in the series. It's quick, fierce and takes no prisoners. Read it!

This book has the elements of a good MC story but very poor execution. There was very little plot or character development. The bulk of the story was repetitive internal musings by the MMC about how messed up he was, how he needed to bleed people and why he wasn’t fit to be with the FMC. There was no real basis for their relationship to develop. They met. He threatened, then stalked her. Saved her one night from an intruder and has an intimate interlude, then she didn’t see him for several years!!! while he lurked in the background. From there she runs to him when she needs help (didn’t know his real name or address even) and they’ve both determined that they are deeply connected to one another. The basis for this supposed soul connection is about a total of about 3 partial days of interaction and a lot of background stalking. All very odd.

I couldn’t stand how repetitive the writing was. The author rehashed the same internal angst in MMC’s head for the first 45% of the story. There wasn’t much plot being his self-flagellation. I probably won’t read any other books by this author.

i have 100% read this before and just forgot to mark it read on goodreads lmao. i definitely remembered more and more as the story went on and it was over all fine but the timeline felt weird because we are told they have 'known' each other for years but the part of their relationship we are shown itself jumps around very quickly to lovers/she's mine/i love him etc.

Fury by Jessica Ames is the sixth book in the Untamed Sons MC that revolves around the story of Fury and Amalia. Now, let me start by saying that Fury has always been my favourite character in this series. I've always been intrigued with his story ever since I started Untamed Sons MC. Well, I can't help it. Reading about psychopaths especially if they love to torture people is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Knowing that his book serves stalker trope made it so much better.

In this book, it follows after Infatuation. If you still haven't read the prequel, I highly suggested if you do. Basically, Amalia stumbled upon the scene where Fury murdered a guy and so in order to keep her mouth shut, Fury was ordered to follow Amalia around just to make sure that she won't go to the police. However, even after being told that he no longer need to follow her, Fury couldn't stop. He became addicted to her. He was obsessed, that he ended up stalking her for years. Then somewhere along the way, Amalia accidentally involved with another murder which she shouldn't have seen. But this time, the people aren't merciless. Therefore, she went to find Fury in order to find protection.

Now, talking about the characters, I completely adore the couple. In this story, we finally get to know about Fury's past and the reason why he became what he is now. It was pretty heartbreaking and you can't help but feel sorry for him. Whereas for Amalia, she's literally one of the sweetest people out there. I loved how she didn't push Fury into giving her what she wants. She completely understands him and she knows her limits. Also, what I loved about this couple is that they are literally perfect for one another. I liked how Fury took his time to slowly open up to Amalia. The amount of care that these two have for each other is just *chef kiss*. Their connection and chemistry run so deep that you can't help but root for them.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read for me. I think Jessica Ames has done a great job in delivering this story. It was angsty, emotional, suspenseful, thrilling, twisted, and so much more. I highly everyone to try out this book because it's worth it.

FURY is the seventh instalment in Jessica Ames’ contemporary, adult UNTAMED SONS MC dark, erotic, MC series. This is Sergeant At Arms Joseph ‘Fury ‘ Henry, and Amalia Carter’s story line. FURY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Fury and Amelia) FURY follows in the aftermath of not one but two murders witnessed by our story line heroine. Now on the Untamed Sons MC radar Amalia discovers she has a stalker, a guardian of a sorts,in the guise of Joseph ‘Fury’ Henry. Fury is order to keep an eye on our story line heroine but never expected to fall in love. A past mired in neglect and abuse, Fury believes he is nothing more than a monster but a monster who is willing to kill to protect his brothers, and the woman with whom he is falling in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Fury and Amalia, and the potential fall-out when the crime syndicate takes aim at our story line heroine.

The world building focuses on the early years for each of our story line characters. We are up close and personal with the violent young life of Joseph Henry, and the abandonment and rejection for Amalia Carter. Not only is Amalia targeted by the Untamed Sons MC but another murders places Amalia in the direct line of fire.

The relationship between Amalia and Fury begins acrimoniously. Weeks and months under the accusing eyes of the Untamed Sons MC pushes Amalia and Fury together but family is about to destroy the fragile peace for the MC. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting character including several couples, and members of the Untamed Sons MC and the Farley Crime Syndicate.

FURY is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, murder and madness, acceptance and love. The premise is gritty, dark and dramatic; the romance is provocative; the characters are broken, desperate and hurting.

The bad boy we all want to save

I usually don't rate in halves as the rating system is actually quite clear, but this time I just can't quite get to really liked it (4stars) but it is worth more than liked it (3stars)

Fury is book 6 in the Untamed Sons MC series. It can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to?

Fury is the broken bad boy that we just cannot help wanting to save. The Sergeant at Arms for the MC, he protects and doles out punishment without a care. The structure and purpose keeps his more bloodthirsty cravings under control. Add in the inability to tolerate human touch and you know there is a tragic backstory.

Amalia is another foster kid tragic story, with a brother that gets her into trouble more that he supports and protects. Her and Fury crossed paths years ago when she witnessed a murder. Now he just low key stalks her. The set-up for their HEA story is perfect.

Jessica has a way of pulling you into her stories. Some of the best first chapters I have ever read came from her (Ravage was one of these) and Fury does not disappoint in this regard. It is therefore disappointing that much of Amelia and Fury's burgeoning emotional intimacy happens off the page. The evolution of their physical intimacy is well described but I missed the emotional element and would have wanted to read of this as well. (Perhaps the child abuse trigger warning may have prevented the author to explore this aspect on page but it is still a let down.) Amalia as a character is also quite flat in relation to Fury and I wish we could explore her inner turmoil in relation to this relationship more than her acknowledgement that she is "tapped in the head".

The above personal opinions notwithstanding, I did enjoy the book and can recommend it for those that are not too squeamish.

He was damaged beyond repair. A “freak” as he was called by some. He kept his distance from everyone, even those he considered “friends”. They were afraid of what might happen if he let the demons out, just as much as he was. He was afraid they’d never be contained again. Fury is the Sergeant-at-arms for the Untamed Sons in London. He has to fight to keep his demons under control at the best of times, but when he sees the beautiful angel in front of him one night his world as he knows it is turned on its axis and it may not be righted for a few years.

She happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, the story of her life it seemed. Amalia’s half-brother was always getting her into situations that caused her trouble, but one night she found it all on her own when she was trying to get what she was owed and stumbled on a murder. One of the men she stumbled upon wanted her dead so that she couldn’t talk, and the other man found himself stepping in front of her to protect her and then it became his mission to keep an eye on her to be sure she didn’t talk and put Fury in the hot seat.

For some reason the beautiful woman makes Fury feel something other than disdain or anxiety when she’s around or touches him. He has no idea why. After several years of him trying to keep his distance, she comes running to him for help and now he’ll never let her go. I loved this story of two people who know nothing of love, and they find it at the least expected time and place. Fury and Amalia are a great couple, and their story is wonderful. I love the build up to their HEA and that Amalia is able to see beyond the hurt, pain, and demons that Fury has carried for years. She’s the perfect match to Fury. I love the characters in the Untamed Sons MC series and Fury has always been a favorite with his distance of those around him with exception of Lily-May. He’s a man that has no idea what love is yet, he shows it in ways that even he is not aware of. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more Untamed Sons MC stories in the future.

Thrilling

Fury is, well, he's a psychopath. There's no other way really to describe him. But he's a psychopath who will burn the world down to protect the woman he loves, and who doesn't want a partner like that? Or is that just me?...

This book kept me gripped from the start, I downloaded it after getting a free prequel novella about how fury and amalia met and I just had to know how their story played out.

It's an epic love story about two damaged people who meet in the most unorthodox of ways but eventually find out despite all the eff'ed upness of their lives, that actually, they're perfect for one another - it just takes some shit to go down for them to realise that neither can live without the other. Is the relationship full of toxic codependancy? Yes. But it works for them and I kind of felt myself falling for fury the more I read about him - I'm not even going to dwell on what that says about me...

The book was well written and I can't remember any typos or mistakes anywhere, it was fast paced, exciting, and had me gripped from the start. I would definitely recommend this book, and I'm now off download some others from the series now that I've finished this one. They are meant to be read in order I think despite being kind of stand alones, and there's little mentions here and there about things I assume were mentioned in previous books, but it didn't detract from the overall experience as I was just so invested in fury and amalias story.

Oh and the sex scenes? 💥💥🔥🔥🔥 There was a fair amount after a bit of slow burn in maybe the first 30-40% or so, but after this point it was frequent and mind blowing. But it was written in such a way as to enhance the overall story rather than just for the sake of getting smutty. You could see how the couples feelings were deepening and how fury was evolving by the way they interacted in these scenes and I feel they really enhanced the story. Plus they were just soooo hot! 🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Untamed Sons MC series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Okay how do I start with this one …lets see Fury one sexy as all get out man who takes CRAZY to another level (in a very good way), he is protective of those he loves, will do some major damage for those he loves, and he does all of this without thought or remorse. Amalia in the wrong place at the wrong time (or maybe right place at the right time), Fury has murdered someone with her being the witness and he is then ordered to follow her to ensure her silence. After being told, he doesn’t need to follow her anymore he keeps watching her because she is the air he breaths and she is his light through all the darkness so he can’t walk away so Fury stalked her for years and a good thing he couldn’t because Amalia has a habit of seeing things she shouldn’t see and being places she shouldn’t be but that is why she has her very own Fury to protect /keep her safe. The chemistry is intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored so what happens when emotional bonds weren’t on the menu, and attachments certainly weren’t supposed to form. But when fate put things/people in place and love rears her beautiful head throwing yet another wrench into the mix well you get Fury and Amelia’s story!

Fury and his Angel Amalia

OMG, I was not ready for Fury's story! I knew from the 1st moment we were introduced to him, and it was stated that he hated being touched that he had been through some horrific trauma. I just never imagined it was as bad as it was. I've never hated a mom in any book I've ever read, but I despised Fury's mother with a passion! The things she allowed to be done to him so that she had her next fix were despicable! They shaped him into the angry, furious man that he is. He was only 8yrs old when he was finally removed from his mother's care. He would've been even more damaged had he been in her clutches even longer. Then he meets Amalia when he's out doing a job with his then VP Sin. He is instantly drawn to her and she to him, even though she can see that he's a dangerous man. He watches her from afar for 4yrs before he eventually makes contact with her. In that time, Amalia can see that there's more to Fury than just the lust to hurt or blëëd others. She can see so much more to him, she can see that underneath the bløødlust there's still a scared little boy. He eventually starts allowing her in and isn't hurt, burned, or disgusted by her touch. Instead he finds himself craving it, craving her, and the need to feel like a normal man. He wants so badly to love and to be loved but is scared that he won't know how or that he would accidentally hurt his Angel. They go through some horrible experiences together and eventually they both realize that they are in love with one another and that they are meant to be. I was so happy to see Fury/Joey get his happily ever after with his olé lady Amalia. I can't wait to see what happens next with Bailey.

I simply loved this dark, emotional MC storyline. I’ve felt for Fury, the Sergeant-at-Arms for the Untamed Sons MC, since his story started emerging in prior books. But reading his story in “Fury” my heart broke and my soul ached for him. Having suffered unimaginable things as a child, it’s no surprise the man is damaged. Which of course makes him the perfect guy to “handle” things for the club. Killing, Blood, and Torcher are the only things that seem to calm the beast within him. Until he meets Amaila. A woman who witnesses him killing a man. A woman he should have taken out as well to keep the club safe. But he couldn’t. She calms the inner beast. Even though he stays away from her, in his mind she’s his. So he stalks her, watches her from afar. As for Amaila, she’s been through the system and has her own issues. Fury doesn’t scare her, even though she knows he should. But she keeps his secrets and feels his presence as he watches over her in the shadows.
But when trouble comes to her door and she barely escapes alive, she runs to the only person she knows will help her and keep her safe…. Fury.

Their individual stories are heartbreaking, but is there a chance together their future might be brighter? I’ll warn you this isn’t a story for the faint of heart but it’s a story that will keep you glued to the pages and praying for any type of happy ending.

Outstanding Read and a great addition to the series. I highly recommend grabbing up Fury and all the Untamed Sons MC books. You won’t regret doing so.

It's been awhile since I've read a MC book, and this one aligns exactly with what I remember of them: A possessive H, a tough but ultimately bland h, blazing guns and lots of killing. The characters and story reminded me a lot of Souls Unfractured, but I'm not terribly mad about it since it's been a long time since I've read it.

Fury's childhood, his trauma, and how he deals with it is nearly exactly the same as Flame's, as far as I can remember. However, it was satisfying seeing him grow into his feelings and the epilogue wrapped everything up neatly. Amalie is sweet and inoffensive - she isn't given that whole annoyingly sassy, purposefully feisty veneer that is typically used to mask a lack of character development for the heroine, but neither was she given a proper character arc and personality. She was there and she was serviceable, that's about it.

I do wish there had been a bit more action and conflict - particularly between when Amalie witnesses the murder and the final climax of the story. The action and the danger at the end is believable and exciting though, so I was ultimately happy with the plot and how everything got resolved. This wasn't the most amazing book I'll read this year, nor will it be my favorite, but as a reintroduction back into the MC genre, I have no complaints.

Fury is damaged from the life he was forced to live as a young child, this story is heartbreaking in many ways but it also melted my heart as he starts to finally heal just a bit. He has been drawn to and watched over Amelia for years, first to protect the club from something she witnessed, then because he just couldn't stay away. Amelia has loved Fury for a long time but understands he needs treating carefully and knows instinctively not to touch him, but when she needs help he is the one she goes to. This has a lot of graphic violence and sexual content, all in context of the plot. There is also child abuse issues that form the character. It is a fast paced read, well written with flaws and all. It was a story I've been waiting for and one so worthy of Fury's character, his pain has been lifelong and affected everything in his life, including how he behaves around everyone but two. I was really invested in him finding some peace and love, someone who could ground him without it causing more pain. It had to be someone who could understand and live with any boundaries or coping mechanism' s that had to be in place, but also love him unconditionally and be strong, Amelia fits him like a glove in all ways. Jessica did an amazing job with this and I thank her for giving such a troubled character a story so worthy of him. Started 27/6/21 Finished 28/6/21

Fury is book 6 of the Untamed Sons MC Series, they all stand alone but they are even better when you read them in order because there are so many delicious layers in this universe you would be remiss to miss out on any.

Fury is a hard man who has led a hard bloody life. We first met him in Ravage (book 1), he is cold, dark and ruthless. He can not stand touch and only feels complete when covered in the blood of his enemies. Amalia has also lived a hard life but is not damaged in the same way Fury is. Even though he has been stalking her for years, Amalia knows when trouble kicks her door down Fury will keep her safe. I wouldn't say their chemistry is immediately explosive because Fury can not stand touch, it physically hurts him, I would say it is a bomb with a very long fuse. It crackles and burns all the way to through to the end when bam. It is amazing to see Amalia break down his walls and help him open up in a way that no one thought was possible.

When I read the description of this book I had to read it, and being crazy I felt I had to read the first 5 books before I read Fury. I read the whole series in just a few days, this world is captivating. All of the men are very bad men with an oddly strict moral compass. Fury was hands down my favorite so far. Each book keeps getting better, I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Jessica Ames is a new author for me and I will definitely be checking out her other books and keeping an eye out for new releases from now on. One warning though, this book is a dark romance with triggers and violence. I enjoy dark romances, so this book fit my reading preferences.

Amalia witnessed a crime committed by the Untamed Sons MC and Fury was given the job of watching her to see if she tries to go to the police. During his time following Amalia, he becomes infatuated with her which is an unknown desire since he has been emotionally closed off ever since childhood. His mother abused him and he went through truly atrocious horrors as a young child that formed the man he is today. One main issue for Fury is that he can't stand to be touched by anyone other than Amalia.

Amalia is in a new kind of danger by her brother's involvement with a local crime organization. Seeing that Amalia is in danger, Fury does anything and everything he can to keep her safe. While doing so, he has to come to terms with the feelings he has for Amalia which are completely uncharted territory. This book had emotional trauma, new discoveries, heat, love, suspense and violence. I enjoyed this book and couldn't stop flipping the pages to see what happened next. Well done.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

POV: First person / Dual
Genre: MC / Anti Hero / Damaged Hero / Obsessed Hero

Fury is a character who captivated and intrigued from the moment we met him in Ravage, book one in the Untamed Sons MC London series. My heart absolutely broke for him, the pain he endured in the past is beyond comprehension, it’s no wonder he learned to build up walls to protect himself. Fury is most definitely an anti hero, all he knows is violence and pain, he’s protective, to some extent reclusive, yet he feels this pull to Amalia that he doesn’t understand and can’t explain, he will do whatever he has to do to protect her and keep her safe.

Amalia, also has a troubled past, never knowing love or a true place to belong. She knows Fury is dangerous, she knows he’s obsessive and that he’s essentially stalking her, but she also knows that when he’s close she feels a safeness she’s never has before.

I loved how gentle and understanding Amalia was with Fury, how selfless she was in giving him what he needed, and, I adored the way she made Fury feel. As a couple they balanced each other perfectly, their story was filled with so much beautiful acceptance of each other’s flaws.

Fury is a heart wrenching story about a completely broken man finding his Angel, and how through selflessness, acceptance and determination, they endure the difficult journey to finding a peace, happiness and the comfort of touch.
