Counting Omer is a Jewish practice of focusing on a different personality facet each day for 49 days. This tradition echoes the spiritual journey of he Israelites from slaves of the Pharoah to a people choosing their god and their life. They needed to shape their souls to receive the Torah, their instruction book for life
The book gives a concise definition of each day's focus on a personality trait and practices to help analyze and refine your expression of that trait.

This is a wonderful learning experience for the Omer counting time. We use it every year and feel like it helps us to grow spiritually a little more each time. It offers practical spiritual exercises for each day to put into practice each of the 49 days of Sefirah. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a starting point for self-improvement.
