When one of my executive assistants (now former) eloped with her boyfriend and left me high and dry, I have no choice but to bring in a temp. Little do I expect the curvy beauty I find in the copy room, humming a song that is familiar but obscure.

Abby looks at me with daggers in her eyes, but when I find out who she is, I know I have to make things right (even if it's years too late).

Every year, I take one of my assistants to the ball as my date. This year, I'm taking Abby. She seems to think I'm pulling a prank on her, but that's the last thing I'd do. I have a plan to win her over, but she might also slap me and walk out on me.

But it's a gamble I have to make. I'm famously single and have never had a reason to change....but I do now. Abby's the one and I need her in my life forever.

2 stars. Ugh. This one was not very good. The heroine, Abby, was extremely unlikable and annoying in such a short amount of pages. The hero, Aaron, kept trying to “not like other girls” her which was garbage of him. I just really didn’t like this but I’m glad it was incredibly short.

I really liked this short story! It was sweet, romantic and straight to the point! Overall a good book. I'll definitely will be looking for other books by this author to read!

Brilliant

Abby has taken on a temp job as a admin assistant for a record company she isn’t sure about it but needs the money what Abby doesn’t realise is the she would be working for Aaron Bryant CEO at Ace Records that ruined her mum but worse the reaction she has to him she has never wanted anyone more than him.
Aaron isn’t expecting the reaction he got when he saw Abby but there is something she isn’t telling him she looks angrily at him and he wants to know why. Abby tells him about her mum and what this label did to her all he can do is apologise it was before his time but what can he do Abby doesn’t want him to help she is working to get the money to buy her mums music back.
Abby can’t believe Aaron has asked her to the ball but he organises for a personal shopper to come in and fit her with everything she needs for the ball the one her mum always said she wanted to go to. Once at the ball Aaron takes the stage for his speech what she doesn’t expect is what he has done for her and her mums memory.

Typical first day on the job where the plus size girl gets bullied and made fun of. But as soon as her boss sees her he is taken aback by her. The girl is just a temp but the love that he shows her is heartfelt. Her mom was screwed over years ago on royalties from songs she wrote for her daughter. Boss makes good on getting the royalties for the girl. With everything that happens do these two make it as a couple with all the ridicule? How much love can one man have for a woman? Do these two get the HEA?

Came out of nowhere
This book is about Abby and Aaron. She has her dream job as a temporary admin assistant at Ace Records, and he is her new boss – the most famous entertainment executive in the country. She is instantly awestruck by his incredibly good looks, as he turns around to face her, after being introduced. She also never in a million years thought she would come face to face with the man in charge of the company that took everything away from her mum. This job may become harder than she first thought, but she was doing it for her mum, in memory of her.
Since the moment she came into his office, he’d been consumed with desire for Abby. These urges are distinctly inappropriate for him to have for an employee, and he’d be in so much trouble with the Board if they knew how he felt and what he wanted to do to her. But, his attraction to her is undeniable and magnetic! As a tribute to her late mother, he unexpectedly invites to be his date for the annual Rockin’ Hearts Ball, because her mum had wanted to go.
They don’t start off well, as Abby is defensive and untrusting of him, but this gesture goes a long way with her. Abby and Aaron do get to know each other a little bit better quite quickly, and their feelings come out into the open. There are the obligatory dramas but it makes the story more interesting. I give this book four and a quarter platinum stars.

Abby is the daughter of a single mother who was a great musician but was ripped off by the music company. Her mother died a year ago but Abby's dream is to buy back the rights to her mother's music. Right now she is working as a temp personal assistant and right now angry because she is working as the assistant to the boss of the music company who took advantage of her mom. It gets even worse when she meets her new boss and she discovers she is attracted to him. He keeps on trying to be nice to her and possibly make moves on her but she keeps shooting him down.

Aaron is the CEO of a music company and he is bored. When women find out who he is they throw themselves at him. To his surprise, his new temp assistant seems to be doing everything she can to keep away from him. He is attracted to her and he enjoys that she doesn't just go along with anything he says. He wants to spend more time with her so he invites her to the Rockin Ball. He has do everything he can to convince her to go.

Lana Love joins the multi-author My Curvy Valentine series with Charming Cinderella. Abby is a very sassy, spunky Cinderella, a young woman who has lost her mother and is fighting to make up for an injustice she encountered before she died. When the temp agency Abby works for places her at Ace Records, Abby is forced to confront the manner in which her beloved mom was wronged. Record exec Aaron is completely different than Abby was expecting - as he is instantly enamoured with the young woman and wants to do whatever he can to make her happy. Despite Abby's skepticism, these two have wonderful chemistry, and their story is truly a fairytale. This is a quick, sweet and steamy read perfect for Valentine's Day.

Great but I wanted even more

A good book, the characters were great and the storyline drew you in.
My only negative was that it all seemed to happen to fast, I know the story happened over a period of time weeks or months, I'm not really sure as it all seemed to come across that it happened over a day or two so to be far I didnt really feel any connection between the characters even at the end when they finally admitted feelings, out of nowhere and had their love scene which I felt was a little rushed, it was over and done with after page or two.
I did love the storyline about her mother and how is was resolved though.
All in all this was a great read with lots of potential, I just wanted it to be longer...

So Charming Cinderella, while not the best of the bunch in the Curvy Valentine series, it is better than a few that were in this series.
I think my biggest complaint is that I really wish that Aaron and Abby had more interactions together. There is literally the introduction when Abby is being introduced as the newest temp and the only other interaction that we see is when Aaron confronts her about her problem and she finally tells him what her problems are. After that they are at the ball and professing their love for each other.
Even though I know this is a novella and authors try to keep within the word count, I just really want to see more character development and conversations before the "I love you's" come.

Rockin' Hearts Ball

Charming Cinderella by Lana Love is part of the multi-author My Curvy Valentine series. It may be past Valentines Day but this is a sweet and sexy OTT romance with a twist on the big day. The story is well written, has a nice story-line and likeable characters. There is Abby, a young woman who is single mindedly working towards a goal that concerns her beloved mother who she lost to cancer. There is also Aaron, the CEO of a Ace Records, and the most famous entertainment executive in the country. There is also the Rockin' Hearts Ball on Valentines Day at which Abby ends up being a modern day Cinderella who ends up nailing her Prince Charming in the Presidential Suite that evening.

Abby comes to Aaron's record company as a temp. She is teased and bullied by the female staff before meeting Aaron, who is not what she expects. There is some additional drama from Abby's mother getting cheated out of royalties for songs she created when Abby was younger. Aaron was attracted to her but once the story came out, understood her frustrations with him and his company. It was a good, fast read and an interesting take on the Cinderella story. First one I have read in this series and I'm excited to read the rest.

Abby gets a temp job at the last place she would ever want to work, the company that stoled her Mother's dreams. Aaron is an Excutive at a record company. He is in need of an assistant, when his previous one eloped. When Aaron meets Abby there us a fire and passion in her that catches him off guard. Aaron realizes something is amiss, when he asks Abby she does not hold back.

Aaron is an amazing character took the time to listen to Abby, and learn the truth. Abby is fierce and determined, she did not hold back just because. A great story through and through.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Charming Cinderella is a novella in the ‘’my curvy valentine’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Abby lands a temp job at her dream job with a company she despises.
I did see some chemistry between Abby and Aaron but I would have liked a little more.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

The girl gets the guy!

I really enjoy Cinderella stories, where the improbable happens and the shy girl, the curvy girl or the girl left behind, gets the prince. It’s certainly not an original theme but it’s my favorite.

Abby gets the chance to right a wrong perpetrated on her mother, when she takes a temp job as an assistant to a music producer. On the way to redemption, she manages to snag the guy of her dreams.

“She looks at me like she hates me, but she doesn’t even know me.”

This is a super short “lunch break” read as I like to call it. However, I wasn’t impressed, it would have been a wasted lunch hour. I didn’t feel any chemistry or connection at all between the characters. The entire story just came off as fake.

Instead of this one, pick up Claiming Cinderella from the same series. That one is amazing.

Aaron helps Abby to produce them which he asked to do at the Rockin' Hearts Ball which he took her to. It is a start of their love and marriage. Ophelia's record went gold and platium.

Abby and Aaron work together at a record label. There's insta attraction by both of them but Abby holds a grudge against record executives because how her mother got screwed over when she was young. Abby doesn't believe a man like Aaron a CEO could ever like a girl like her curvy and not Barbie skinny. The story is quick and good but I would of liked a little more.

Short, sweet, and fast read. It got to the point and gave enough information that the story worked. Even though the story worked, wished it was longer. I wanted to know more about Aaron, Abby and Abby's Mom. I liked Abby and her loyalty to her mom. I liked Aaron and how he worked to make things right for Abby. Biggest compliant it was too short.
