She’s sure everyone can live together. But when her father and this wolf-pack leader clash, she’ll have to choose a side…
Mae Cogan’s father warned her off werewolves. But she stubbornly believes that humans and shifters deserve to peacefully coexist, even if dating them could be dangerous. And when she’s instantly attracted to a rugged and sexy alpha, she abandons all caution for a chance to get intimate.
Damon Hale knows he must earn his pack’s respect. After his brother’s suicide, the best thing for his people would be to find his true shifter mate and show his leadership. But when an alluring human turns out to be his destiny, he fears claiming an outsider as his partner will only lead to tragedy.
As Mae battles loyalty to her father and her longing to be in Damon’s arms, she starts to doubt whether it’s worth betraying family for the rough and violent ways of the wolf. And caught between protecting his own and fulfilling his needs, Damon is forced to push her away when pups start getting kidnapped.
Will the fated pair give in to their passions and let love forge the strongest bond?

It's basically a two and a half stars. I guess I got tired of the back and forth.....I love him but I mated it to him but I love him but I mated it to him. And then 1 minute she's living her life and then boom next minute she's being tortured and tormented and trained for some unknown reason. This of course with no lead in as to what the hell's going on. I almost DNF'd it. I won't be going on to the next in the series just wasn't enough pool to keep me here.

Mae Cogan has always had a different way of looking at the werewolf situation. Her father has deep prejudice toward the wolves, seeing them as filthy animals. Mae, however, finds them fascinating and feels an inner urge to run free with them in the forest and live in peace. She is still convinced humans and wolves can learn to accept each other and live together. Yet her father will not change his mind and, when he clashes with the wolf-pack leader, Mae is going to have to choose where her loyalty lies.
Mae does have a mate she has not yet met. But Damon Hale has several distractions happening to keep him from claiming her. He is trying to earn his pack’s respect which was shaken after his brother’s suicide. Finding a human is his real destiny, he knows she is an outsider and might not be easily accepted by the pack. When pups are being kidnapped, Damon has to turn away from her and deal with this issue first and foremost. Will Mae give up on him? Will he realize he needs the strength of a mate bond to be the strong leader his pack needs? Grab your copy as the story is just beginning and there is so much more to come!
Mae grew up with just her father as her mother had died a long time ago. She always felt comfortable with werewolves though, despite her dad and his beliefs. She meets Damon and Luca and deeper feelings stir. Then tragedy strikes when young ones are taken. Suspense rolls through as she is put through deadly trials and situations, destroying her pain and feelings levels. Mae is learning new things and given warnings of possible things to come. Now she is to rise up as something new and powerful. Secrets and twists hit her hard. One month to the change.... can not wait for the next book in the series.

First time again with a author knowing my weakness for paranormal shifters this yowled to me. Megan has to pick it is the typical no way from the dad. So chemistry and other things win over and she picks the hunk. Damon too has obstacles when it comes to his mate. Can they bring it together or can it cause fighting and heads rolling? Curious will only be a small part that has you stuck to this one as it unfolds. We only get a bit of it though with more to come. Turn those pages and get all you can for now.
I’ve always been into fairytale and werewolf type of books. This book actually meets my standards. The plot made me mad sometimes like cant y'all just talk it out and solve y'alls problem? But I guess that was part of the suspense and the way the story should go. The only thing I didn't like was that the main couple always fought and let their emotions get the best of them. It irritated me so much but I wanted to know what happened. There were some sad parts which made me feel bad. I just love how Mae doesn't judge the werewolves as her father did and actually gives them a chance.

This is one of the best books that I've read!! The galatea app has this story but it was to slow so when I found out it was on Amazon I had to buy it!! If your looking for a new author, she the one!!
Initially this was great! Good pacing, a fun time, but the whole Moon Goddess thing was not it for me. I love a good werewolf book, but I think that sort of twist is personally a turn-off. It really depends on what your preferred tropes are though!
The first time i read this book was in wattpad in 2019, and lovedddd it! Damon and Mae were so cute and I loved them together but I just reread the printed version and i don’t remember the og story being like this😭😭
