The light novel fantasy epic that inspired a critically-acclaimed anime!

Haruhiro awakens to darkness and amnesia, among a group of strangers who can only remember their own names. When they make it into the light, they discover Grimgar--a fantasy world that's like something out of an RPG game. Without apparent skills or knowledge of their surroundings, Haruhiro and his newfound friends band together to form an adventuring party. Only by cooperating, using their wits, and learning new skills can they hope to survive in this dangerous land of monsters and magic.

The second volume in the endgame arc. It starts off well, he find out that Haruhiro is now made one of the mentors of Thieves Guild like Barbara. After that point, the story becomes very boring (particularly thy starting parts of infiltration of Damuro) but it picks up the pace when we get our history lesson.

We find out about the establishment of the Kingdom of Arabakia and get to know some lore about the noble houses. Finally, we know who Enad George is (mentioned by Jessie, in which he refers to the No Life King's curse as the Curse of Enad George).

Since then, the story gets good and the group starts suspecting Shinohara at the end. We see how Leslie/Master Unchain starts influencing Mogis and Volunteer Corps. Setting things up to further whatever his plan is.

The new arc continues, dragging a bit but it's nice to see it unfold.

So much growth and definitely a real catalyst for the rest of the series.
