This is a menage romance involving one woman in a relationship with two men and may not be to everyone's tastes. Jake/Choirboy and Soren/Slash have been called to duty on a serious and dangerous mission. They've been assigned to help Vanessa a beautiful socialite flee the Country. She's trying to escape her vicious and powerful husband. What they thought was going to be a piece of cake turns into a more dangerous mission in more ways than one. Her husband is determined not to let her leave in one pieces and he has some serious dudes chasing her. In the process they find that she's not the spoiled princess they thought she was and that she's not only gorgeous but tough as nails. The chemistry between the three is explosive and she decides that she wants both of them. This is one fast paced story that's full of action and danger. No shortage of steamy scenes. Plenty of twists and surprises that will keep you guessing. This book has some dark elements and triggers. I read an arc via Ba Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review it.

Great start to a steamy new menage MC read. Vanessa is on the run from her horrible husband and Jake and Soren are to help her cross the border. Sparks fly between the three but her husband has no plans on letting her go that easy. Dark read with loads of drama, suspense and emotion. Great characters and a steamy read. I loved it!

⚠️ Warning ⚠️ This book contains very violent scenes that include torture, cutting, fighting, sexual sadism, and shared memories of rape. This is a story about a woman who is tortured physically, emotionally and mentally by her husband. No swords cross in this story.

I have to say that the name of this book, “Vicious”, is very accurate for the content. Some of the scenes are violent and just plain viciously sadistic in nature. But that is not why I only gave the book a two and a half star review.
The author, who I know to be an excellent writer from reading some of her other books, really went overboard with the detailed descriptions of everything. I did struggle to finish the book because it moved so slowly. It seems like Roma James did a deep dive into the world building, the inner thoughts and emotions of the three main characters (and the other two major characters), the inner workings of the motorcycle club, and everything else, except the action that moves the story forward. The book is in desperate need of heavy duty editing to get rid of the superfluous information. I found myself skipping over many paragraphs because it just bogged down the progress of the story. It’s really unfortunate that so much of the writing is unnecessary because this is not a long story. Yet when it came to the sexy scenes, the author was brief in her descriptions of the action and actually left me feeling as though the scenes are incomplete.
I also felt like the story ended with too many unknowns. Did Vanessa eventually inherit her husband’s vast wealth? How was his disappearance explained? What happens with Vanessa, Soren and Jack in the future? So many words but so little pertinent information.

This is a totally riveting introduction to this wonderful MC Series
This is a wonderful read right from the off and I can confirm that if you enjoy MC Series you will not in anyway be disappointed, the characters are simply wonderful and plot was so well written leaving you with a opening that kept you guessing right up to the very las page.
Jake and Soren are the two men that love her and care for her giving her exactly what she needs whether it be a trip across their laps for punishment or a session of loving in their arms or any other way they desire.
The president of the Road Kings has agreed to help to assist no matter the cost, they are brave and determined and they will be determined to care for each other as a Family of Three and let anyone that dares try to contradict this fact, if they wish to risk their head or their lives on this fact.
Vanessa will keep her two mates in line she is tough and will submit when it is needed and will be firm at the necessary moments and this will hold the family of three together as they should be for now and for evermore……

Soren and Jake are given the assignment by their MC Pres. to sneak a highly abused married woman across the Canadian border before her sick abusive billionaire husband can track her down and drag her back to L.A. or worse kill her. She’s absolutely terrified of him and what he’ll do if he finds her. Soren especially, thinks Vanessa is just another spoiled rich girl looking for her next big adventure, but as they start traveling across the country heading towards the Canadian border the more they learn about Vanessa and her life before her marriage and how sick and ugly her marriage has been, She proves to them just how strong willed and brave and how steadfast she truly is. They can’t help but begin to notice they are building up very deep feelings for each other. Soren thinks he is “broken” he fights this every step of the way. This story is riddled with danger, anxiety, suspense, anger, self doubt but the chemistry between them is off the charts. Lots of hiccups along the way on their path to that ever elusive journey to their HEA. Will the three of them survive all the hurdles to reach that destination? I do recommend. This is an intense book with many triggers. Vanessa is an abused wife. Her husband is very wealthy and powerful as well as mean and ruthless. He abused Vanessa for years. She f I nilly decided she had enough and seeks the aid of the Road Kings Mc to help her cross the Xanadian boarder to escape. Soren and Jake are the two members in the club that are tasked with the task. They think it will be an easy gig of babysitting a rich, girl wanting to get away. Theu are in for much more excitement t as her husband sends people after them ro get her back. Along the way they find unexpected love between the three of them. What will happen in this fast paced book? Will her husband find them? Will they be able to protect her and themselves in the process? Very compelling and emotional story and great start to new series.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Vanessa is trying to escape a deadly husband. She has contacted the Road Kings MC prez for help. As long as her money is good, he assigns Jake and Soren to escort her into Canada. This is unusual for them and quickly becomes a deadly job but with added benefits. Vanessa is as attracted to the guys as they are to her. It is not as simple as that though. Her husband had upped the stakes and is determined to find her and make her pay for leaving. The guys might not be as evil as him, but they are bad bikers and not to be counted out. These three have a danger, drama and lust filled story but love is not far behind. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series.

I have read a few books by Roma, and they are all reverse harems. This story is about Soren "Slash" and Jake "Choirboy" of the MC. They are tasked with helping an abused woman get away from her husband to Canada. While on the run, things get dicey with these three and hot and spicy. While they are taking her she ends up grabbed again by her husband, that is determined to keep her as his own. But of course now you have two bikers that won't let that happen. With all the craziness of the running of her over to Canada, are these two guys able to let her go after all the time they got to know her? Will she want to be separated from them?

Vicious is a brand new release from none other than Ms. Roma James. According to the cover, this is the first installment to a new Series. This is exciting, to me, due to this Author's overall talent and creativity in every single one of her publications.

Vanessa Wilson is on run and in hiding from her abusive Husband, Wade. Soren 'Slash' Payne and Jake 'Choirboy' are members of The Road Kings MC and tasked/hired with taking Vanessa to Canada. Both Soren and Jake have their own strengths but are they enough to get her there safely, especially when a killer is out to get her?

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Vicious in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.

I strongly recommend reading this release.

Soren and Jake are sent by their Road Kings MC president Cade on a mission to deliver an abused women to Canada and safety far away from her soon to be ex husband. When Vanessa finally gets together the money to run and she contacts Cade for help. She knows her abuser Wade is wealthy, powerful, and will come after her, but if she stays, he will kill her. Soren, Jake, and Vanessa meet there is instant attraction, but they have to get her to safety. The path they take to Canada is not direct to throw off any pursuers and in that time together, things change. This book has drama, action, steam, and more. Well paced, great MC read.

Roma James is a new to me author and I'm so glad I found her. Vicious is a great, fast paced read and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
Soren "Slash" and Jake "Choirboy" are given the job of getting Vanessa out of town and away from her wealthy husband. She's definitely had enough abuse to last a lifetime and the only way to get away was to hire the Road Kings to help her. What she doesn't bargain on is the attraction she feels for not just one of them but both Soren and Jake. Their journey is a wild ride to say the least and it's not one you want to miss. Vicious is an absolute must read.

There is nothing I love more than a real juicy story combined with hot steamy love scenes and lots of action with what the world perceives as the bad guys, only Soren and Jake who are bikers in an MC are the good guys and Vanessa’s husband is the bad guy pretending he is the good guy. Vanessa is on the run with Soren and Jake towards Canada and the goons are slowly creeping towards them. There is a tense moment when Vanessa finds herself back with her husband, but the guys manage to save her again and she gives them the option of being with her.

Vanessa needed out, and fast. Her husband was an animal that loved to play with his food. Her option, hire a biker club to get her a new identity and across the border to Canada. She wasn't expecting Soren and Jake, and she certainly didn't expect the connection between them. When the psycho with the scalpel finds her, will her fellas be able to save her? Enjoyed reading this quick tale of a trapped woman looking for a way out, only to find 2 men who care for her deeply.

Slash\Soren and Jake are bikers the belong to the Road King Motorcycle Club. Slash is an enforcer and Jake can find anything on the internet. In walks Vanessa. She is running from her abusive husband and has hired the Road Kings to get her to Canada. Slash and Jake are both attracted to her and they have been known to share women. As they are at a motel for the night, some goons bust in and take Vanessa. But Slash and Jake will do everything in their power to get her back.
Short story. Bikers. A rich woman. An evil husband. MFM. Action and bloody.

Vicious has an actual story to go with the menage romance. Vanessa hires the Road Kings MC to help her escape her sadist husband. Soren and Jake are tasked with the job to take her to Canada, but have to dodge the men sent to bring her back. It is an instalove romance between the three, which takes a lot for the reader to overlook the abuse Vanessa endured to get to that point. There is plenty of suspense and heat for a novella length book. However, the author does need to find another word for "goon".

I love this mix of MC and reverse harem!! Jake and Soren know you do what your Prez asks, no questions asked. When they are tasked with moving a woman across the border to Canada they think it will be a cake walk, until the meet Vanessa. She is not the rich spoiled wife they were expecting, she is sassy and feisty and brave. They are supposed to keep her safe, not fall for her, but sometimes you just can't follow the rules! Great story line and the chemistry between the characters is off the charts! I can't wait to see what is next! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

This Book 1 in The Road Kings MC Book Series is a good Menage Romance and I have read other menages by this Author. This author know how to write good menage stories. This well crafted story is a fast-paced and full of passion story with very well developed Characters. There story has suspense, twists, turns, love, trust, emotional connections, and a HEA. This book is full of great things. I love these characters and their interactions. Must buy book.

This book leaves me without words, kind of like Soren didn't have words for his emotions when trying to relate to Vanessa, since he had never experienced such emotions before. I feel the same way, I've never read a book with two different versions of such cruel sadism before. So beware! When I got to the last ten percent of the book, I just knew it had to be a cliffhanger. But no; the author brings the bad guys together so our MC heroes can come to put an end to them, saving the brave heroine and the reputation of their club.

Vannessa only hope of getting away is with the help of the Road Kings MC, what she doesnt plan on falling for not one but both of her protectors. This is well written steamy and engaging story woth characters you cant help but fall for.

This is a fast paced adventure with two hot bikers and one tough as nails woman who wants both of them. Vanessa is running away from her crazy abusive husband and Slash and Choirboy are asked to get her to Canada. Overall this was a good story, but I was wanting more it was just over too quick. I wanted more sexy scenes and I would have like to see how Slashes character could develop more. I really hope that we learn more about Slash, Choirboy, and Vanessa.

Vaness's on the run from her abusive husband, needing help she's getting from Soren aka Slash and Jake aka Choirboy... a very fast paced Story that has the three of them ending up together, but not before the husband gets her to almost get her killed. Will her protectors reach her in time, before evil strikes? Nice and interesting story.

This book has several storyline. There are some Trigger topics in this story so please be aware before you read.
Vanessa is an abused woman who needs to get away from her husband.
Soren and Jake are the two MC members who have been tasked to get her to Canada.
There is an instalove in this book between these three.
You are given some good background on the three main characters.
I'll be honest I have mixed feelings about this story - didn't hate it or love it.

Road trip to freedom

VICIOUS is the first book in the Road Kings MC series by Roma James. This story does have some sadistic and vicious things happening so be warned as there are potential triggers. But this RH story is also sizzling sexy with an interesting story-line and nice characters in Vanessa, Jake and Soren.

I like MC books but this one didn't quite do it for me. It started well and I liked Jake and Soren. I also admired Vanessa for getting away. Her husband (Wade) is a nasty piece of work. But there's another bad guy and he was bit weird. I ended up skipping through a lot of Soren's moping and some of the other bad guy because I'd lost interest a bit. Didn't really get Wade's whole motivation and the story just seemed like a way for Jake, Soren and Vanessa to have sex. That was ok.

“Vicious” should have big-letter warnings from the author about the sadistic and torture content. With the scenes containing so much overwhelming, over-the-top evil, and being blatantly and viciously sadistic in nature, I can’t read this further. WARN READERS!!!!

One of my favorite reads. Vanessa comes to the road kings Mc for help to leave her abusive husband where she meets two sexy bikers soren and Jack the two men helping her out. Soren is a broken man that doesn't want love, jack is a quit man can Vanessa bring everyone together and get her two men?

Good read

I thought this book had great characters and the storyline was interesting but I think it could have been elaborated on and extended, then it would have been a amazing read. I just wanted the story to go into more details. No matter what it was a good read and not to heavy on the MC if that is what you are looking for. Will see what the next book brings to the table
