The secret is OUT!! Now what will Eden’s family do?? Grandma’s game comes to life and now Eden has to round up some gremlins and “bosses” before chaos visits the town. A resident also dies leaving a letter for her husband’s pick of a new wife. But did she die naturally? Eden has a lot on her plate, but as always Sawyer, Neville and even little Olivia are on her side.

2022 bk 190. All of this series has been fun, but this one takes the cake. Imagine a magical accident occuring and your favorite video game characters come to life. Chipping Cheddar may never be the same again. Eden, with the assistance of her grandmother and niece and Neville have to work together to clear the city of 13 demons from the Lil Critters game. At the same time, she has to solve a murder, keep FBM headquarters in the dark, and keep her romance a secret. Good read!

This was not fun to read. I have enjoyed all the other books in this series. I really just pushed myself through to see what would happen with Sawyer. Even that was meh. I will read the next one hoping it will be back on track with the others in this series.

entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and a spectacular storyline. Eden fury comes from a family of supernatural‘s. Her mother and grandmother are wicked witches her father is a vengeance demon and her brother is also a vengeance demon. As you can tell by their last name on occasion in the family someone is actually a fury. Well Eden fury is the one in her family that has become a fury. She started out as an FBI agent and had moved away from her small East Coast town. She was working in San Francisco and after an incident of supernatural circumstances involving her and her partner. She was recalled to headquarters and reassigned from the FBI to the Federal Bureau of magic. Which is the magical equivalent of the FBI. She has sent back to her hometown where her family lives and she is the head agent in the local office of the FBM. They are disguised as a FBI cyber crimes unit for the humans to understand. In fury must protect the town from any supernatural events and people or creatures that come around. As there is a extinct portal to the other world or supernatural demons and beans originate. With the help of her assistant wizard in the FBM office as well as the local sheriff a human and on occasion other supernaturals around town. She stops any supernatural crime and instances from happening and or being noticed by the humans. Not counting all the instances she must deal with involving her own family of slightly darker supernatural beings. Very entertaining and a fun read. Check it out

Brilliant, Fun, Entertaining and so much more! 💕💕💕

Don’t let the title fool you! Not that I have anything against a “Cozy Mystery Series”, but I thought this would one of those “good vibes and silly” books that was all warm and fuzzy! Not the case here, since this series has a certain “edge”. Each book has a new mystery that gets solved by the end of each book. The FMC Eden is a hoot! She is super likable, sarcastic and the star of this series. Eden gets transferred back home against her wishes to be an agent for the Federal Magical Bureau. Now she has to embrace her magic, which is something she was always reluctant to do, embrace living once again with her whacky family, who she so desperately wanted to leave behind and get reacquainted with the people of the town where she grew up. I was really pleasantly surprised by this series. What I liked most is the barely there “dark undertones” that make it that much more interesting. I have read plenty of Annabel Chase’s books. Some I liked better than others, but this one is turning out to be a real joy to read. There is a progression to this series, especially Eden who is slowly but surely learning to embrace who she really is. Highly Recommended ❤️❤️❤️ PS. I would also recommend you read “ The Crossroads Queen Series by Annabel Chase” - One of the best series out there!

Wow! The secret is out!

This is a cute series! Nothing is black and white! A lot of grays area when it come to about Eden Joy Fury’s family and their power. This book has more insights about her family and Eden coming to turn with her relationship with Chief Fox! Well more of cat is out of the bag at the end of the book. Can’t wait to read/listening to the next book! A year to wait for book 13!😢 I can relate to Eden but my family isn’t no where near as bad as her. I hate how her family put her down. No wonder why she wanted to move away from them as soon as she graduated from high school. Can you imagine to belittle because you don’t want to be like them days end and days out! Her mother is the worst! Her mother ( if you waiting call her that) always have something negative to say to her. Like her hands and feet are to big. Like she had to find something negative about her daughter to make her feel better about herself! Make my dysfunction family looks like an ideal family! I hope to see Eden stand up more to her mom and grandma in the next book! This book series will have you laugh out loud! I hope you enjoy will enjoy it as much as I do!🥰

When Eden's grandmother uses black magic to play a game similar to Pokemon on her phone and a child spills milk on said phone, several critters from the game are brought to life and released in Chipping Cheddar. It's up to Agent Fury, her partner Neville and the friendly Chief of Police Sawyer Fox to round them up and catch them all. Neville designs orbs (Pokeballs anyone) to capture and hold them while Eden and her grandmother search for them. This was funny and I had a great time reading it. There were some serious undercurrents such as Eden gaining new fury powers and her discovering her niece was bullying other kids at school that were dealt with admirably. Eden and Sawyer's relationship has escalated and the need to keep it secret has never been more important. I recommend this story for a semi-quick read that will leave you feeling good and looking forward to the next book in the series.

This series is diverting entertainment

This is an entertaining series with characters covering a broad range on the likeability spectrum! Eden is a great lead; she's earnest and trying hard to be different from her evil family while slowly realizing they may have some redeeming qualities. Her niece Olivia looks to have the potential to be a pivotal character (something to look forward to!), and Olivia's mom, Verity, may add unexpected insight. Chief Sawyer Fox is going to provide the backbone Eden's been lacking in her dealings with her mother and grandmother (I hope!) which will hopefully extend to Aunt Thora. The complex relationships are actually more engrossing than the mayhem of cleaning up behind family hijinks and uncovering a murder! As a side note, Eden's t-shirt choices display wry wit on the author's part that I appreciate. I'm really looking forward to Book 12, "Birds of a Fury."

Eden’s life is not easy; her current problem has been caused by her grandmother – the Little Critters from her online game have been brought to life and are running around Chipping Cheddar.
The critters aren’t necessarily dangerous but they definitely cause problems - they are appearing before humans. Eden has to capture the critters while making sure no one knows they are supernatural. With help from Neville and his magical traps it’s a bit easier but Eden also has to get help from her grandmother, much to her dismay.
This is a very easy reading book with no action but a little mystery, surprises, a hidden romance and lots of humour. The way Eden deals with her family, her hellhound Buttercup, her niece Olivia, and other things are some of the best parts of these books.
I find this is a good series to refresh my reading interests, it’s light, not too much thinking involved, just a lot of enjoyment.
A fun quick read.

Eden Joy Fury and her crazy wicked family of witches, vengeance demons, a stepmom vamp and a sister in law druid are a favorite fun series. Grandma is a very powerful witch, who this time was playing a game called "Little Critters" on her phone, capturing them till her arthritis took over. So not to quit and let down her fellow players, she uses her black magic to spell the phone. An accident happens and 13 critters, including 2 bosses escape to real life so now Eden has to round them up before they hurt anyone. Mayhem ensues. Very fun as always.

So this time around Grandma accidentally let’s loose all the little critters in her game. Funny enough the game and the way to capture them remind me in awful lot like Pokémon go. The Supernatural council is aware and not happy with Eden‘s family so there will be a consequence. But I have to say I really enjoyed this book. No if you don’t want a spoiler I would stop….
But as far as my spoiler it is finally revealed to Eden’s family about Sawyer. Which I’m so excited about but just like eden I do fear what the families going to do

A bit zany, a bit over-the-top, and a lot of fun! If I ever played video games, I would want to play in this one!

Eden and her family are something else. This novel has the usual kinks and twists in this series, but in addition to the normal ones, our heroine can't call for help from her parent agency because the monsters are generated by her own family. Some people (literally) never grow up.

The storyline fits in the series nicely and was a nice break. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It is well written and a flawless victory for Annabel's readers. Well done, Annabel!

Good clean fun

This book continues the story of Eden Fury, an actual fury. She continues to balance her family and her commitment to good. When a spell allows creatures from her grandmother's phone into the real world
chaos breaks out. Eden needs help from her human boyfriend and witchy family to make it through. Hijinks ensure that you will laugh till the last critter is rounded up.

The secret comes out

I enjoy this series so much! Eden's relationship with Sawyer is strong, and the coo is a terrific character and love interest. Some good interactions with family and Neville, and the plot moves along at a good pace. The moment after the final critter capture was cut shorter than I liked. Wanted to see Eden release the energy or at least get a good start on it. Thisisa fun series, and I look forward to every book!

Fun series!

I really like this series about a fury that is a federal agent for paranormals and guards a portal to keep out demons. I like how Eden and Sawyer's relationship is progressing, Eden' s interactions with Olivia and Eden standing up to her family. I can't wait to see how the story progresses.

Annabel Chase is a great author is now one of my favorites. I don't think Eden mother and grandmother should be able to tell Eden who she can see. I think Chief Fox and Eden would make a great couple. If they tamper with him I thinks she should turn them in. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Whoa

When grandma uses black magic to play her little critters game, they somehow get released into the real world leaving everyone else to clean up her mess.

But when Eden gets hurt attacking a critter, her family finds out about her relationship with Sawyer. They are not happy at all.

A must read!

Fury fun 🤩

Grandma really puts Eden in a pickle this time with some wayward black magic 🪄

Plus keeping her relationship a secret is getting to be harder than she thought.

A great read as all Chase’s books are.

Another excellent book

I love this series. Each book is a series of new issues Eden and her crew face. But it also shows the growth of her powers, her relationship with her family and the sheriff. Can’t wait to see what else this author can come up with. So much fun.

The Cat’s Out of the Bag

One of Grandma’s spells goes wrong, and a bunch of creatures from the Little Critters game come to life. If that weren’t enough, Grandma and her mother know about her relationship with Chief Fox. What’s a Fury to do? Buy the book and find out!
