Oooh I get to be the first to review this; kool! Well first of all the manuscript could’ve used another pass by the editor’s desk because there are typos here & there throughout, at least in the print version. Looking past that though, not bad. I found myself at times emotionally reacting to some of the characters’ behaviors which may show the commendable writing skill of the author. I also was able to identify who is who on the cover at about the halfway point. However, because of how the characters were sculpted, the twists in it were rather difficult for me to believe and felt almost kinda forced just to have some twists thrown into the story. I will say they made it more interesting though but didn’t get me shocked or significantly further entertained. Overall I’d still recommend it to anyone who may be a fan of African-American metropolitan romance fiction.
