This book was so good. I didn't want to put it down and I want the next book as soon as possible! Throughout this one, Deagan struggled with the fact that Casidhe betrayed him in his eyes but Casidhe was the only one who knew what really happened and was betrayed by everyone she had ever trusted. She no longer had a home, family, or friends but people who still wanted to use her for one reason or another. The one thing I love about these books is the multiple people that they follow and the battles that they all face. It is so interesting to see what is going on in different parts of the Belador world and the fact that only a few days had passed. I also love how Dianna envokes such emotions because I am honestly angry with the gods on the tribunal and in general. Like they don't do anything but they could help if they so chose. I cannot wait to continue this series! *I received an ARC for an honest review*
This is the 7th book in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World and WOW…this series is such a thrilling adventure! Book 7 continues with the Imortiks and Demons still causing trouble in Atlanta and our heroes battling them and other preternatural beings. Some of the situations our heroes are in leave me biting my nails! Good golly, Miss Molly, how in the world are they going to extricate themselves? I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens!
No matter the decision, it seems to backfire on Daegan. The utter turmoil and uncertainty for these characters is nail biting. I can’t stop powering through this series.
As the seventh book in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles series began, the main characters find themselves still facing foes who will do anything to stop an honorable quest. Casidhe and Daegan are also trying to not dwell on their own personal issues which lead to even more troubling consequences. As they continue trying to accomplish their goals that would help mankind plus any supernatural beings on the side of good while stopping those with evil intentions, the information learned by this couple is often almost overwhelming at times and could greatly impact their missions, too. I have been very invested in what happens to Daegan and Casidhe along with the wellbeing of many other individuals introduced throughout this series, and what takes place to so many of them in this story has left me fearing for their safety and that of the whole population of Earth.
Many of the events in which Casidhe previously participated were thought to have been done for a noble cause, but she has recently realized much of her life has been ruled by deceit. After having met Daegan, the Dragon King of Treoir, many staggering facts have been divulged to her, and now she is ready to try and right wrongs that she unwittingly committed. Daegan is also discovering details about the past which leave him stunned. As these two individuals battle their own feelings for one another while frequently clashing with sworn enemies, demon sightings are becoming very common in Atlanta and are spreading to other places in the human world. Making matters even worse, the grimoire volumes still missing must be found or the future will be disastrous for both mortals and the immortal beings dedicated to protecting those who are innocent.
The adventures awaiting Casidhe, Daegan, and others in this story only add to the dilemmas which they have valiantly tried to overcome in the past six books, and whether they are being physically hassled or only mentally, the fate of so many beings could depend on what choices are ultimately made. Lots of heartbreaking entanglements cause conflicted feelings to control the actions of Daegan and Casidhe, and my worry over what each would end up doing just kept escalating. Some disclosures make even a friendly relationship between this couple seem impossible, but I am holding out hope for a decisively positive turn of events before the series concludes. Dianna Love keeps me thoroughly entertained during every enthralling scenario in TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES OF THE BELADOR WORLD, and uncovering what occurs next is anticipated with much eagerness.
Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World by Dianna Love is the 7th book in this 9-book arc. Refresher: Daegan and his team are attacked by Immortiks, who were supposed dead many years ago. They are racing against time to find the missing ‘grimoire volumes, before the tribunal kills some of their Beladors held in captivity. All of Daegan’s team are each involved in various dangerous situations along the way.
The story continues, with Casidhe desperate to get away from Herrick, and despondent that Daegan believes her to have betrayed him. She manages to escape, with Herrick and his men trying to find her, and now she has a powerful weapon to help her fight. Casidhe meets with Oracle again, but is told that she and Daegan need to bring what she needs together, in order for them to learn where to find the second grimoire volume. But Daegan with help from Tristan, refuse to do anything, until Lanna explains they need to help each other to get what they want. Daegan does not trust Casidhe, but she constantly tries to explain, with him fighting off his wanting to believe her.
Macha, is determined to get revenge on Daegan, and is using the tribunal to believe her lies. With Sen and Adrianna captured, the tribunal wants Sen back, and are pushing Daegan to find him. Daegan is being pushed from every angle, and no matter where he turns, there is an enemy lurking’ but he is still determined to the get the grimoire volume and save the lives of imprisoned Beladors.
Quinn, Reese, Evalle, Carter are in the middle of a war with the demons and Immortiks, as they can’t handle the influx, even with Isaac’s help. They are all desperate to find Adrianna and save her, as well as protect Reese and her unborn child.
What follows is so much action constantly on so many levels, that I find myself wanting to blow all the villains away; I disliked them all, Macha, Cathbad, the new entity, Demons, Immortiks, Herrick, Brynwilde, and the tribunal (as well as Sen). I want them all dead, as it is getting too intense with such evil all around, and our heroes losing ground. I am not going to tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers. As I have said previously, this is a 9-book series arc and you truly do need to read these books in cohesion. If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense, romance, great characters, you should be reading Dianna Love.
Daegan, Tristan, and Lanna travel to the mountains that Herrick lives to trade Skarde for what Herrick had hidden. Casidhe and the seer convince Herrick to hand over Daegan's sister to Daegan, only for her to vanish. Daegan is crushed that Casidhe had betrayed him and his trust by not mentioning Herrick to him. Daegan does not want to hear Casidhe's reasons for not telling him and just wants to distance himself from her betrayal. Casidhe had just found out that her entire life was a lie and wanted to hear Herrick's side of things only for her to find out about Daegan's sister.
Daegan still has to find other Grimoire volumes and save his Beladors from the tribunal and imortiks while battling his heart on how Casidhe made him feel so that he can forget her. He is completely done with any form of betrayal.
Adrianna and Sin have been kidnapped and need to escape. Loki is mad that Sin is missing. Reese's demon father demands the baby that she is carrying, Casidhe is heartbroken that Daegan doesn't want anything to do with her. Tristan seen the hurt coming from Daegan and doesn't want to deal with Casidhe either.
Herrick wants to punish Casidhe for allowing Daegan's sister to vanish into thin air. He tries to lock Casidhe in the dudgeon, but doesn't get to. So Casidhe leaves only to be followed.
This entire series keeps you on your toes. I honestly can't wait until the next book to come out. Dianna is an amazing author and she's really good at cliff hangers. When you get to the last of the book, it stops and your reaction is NOOOOOO. I have to find out what happened. Keep up the amazing work Dianna.

I was provided an arc in exchange for an honest review.
I love how this series is progressing. Despite the fact that Dianna is killing us with the cliffhangers, each installment is providing more and more information and we are getting closer to the end. With only two more books to go in the series, things are starting to move quickly as time is running out for Casidhe and Daegan to find the grimoire volumes. The more we learn the more everything seems to be connected, but all has not been revealed so I haven't quite figured out how everything in this puzzle fits together quite yet. As usual Queen Maeve and Cathbad are up to no good, the Beladors are busy keeping demons at bay while trying not to expose themselves to the equally unfriendly to paranormal human population, the Imortik threat is getting worse, and the Tribunal is less than helpful. With everyone fighting on every front success does not seem likely for our dragon king and his bookish companion and our favorite Belador warriors and their allies. At every turn their is a new player for team evil and another battle to be fought.
I love the characters in this series. There are so many plot lines to keep track of but things are finally starting to come together and I suspect that in the next two books were are finally going to get the answers to all of our questions. I'm really invested in all of the storylines and characters and at the end of every installment I need to know what happens next. Dianna is doing such an amazing job putting these together and keeping everything moving forward. I'm so anxious to see how it all ends.
Keep in mind this is a novella series, with each book coming in around 200 pages and almost all of them end on a cliffhanger. The good news is each of the books is being released 1 month apart so you don't have to wait very long to find out what happens next. I'd opt for the 3 book bind ups or wait until all 9 books are out if you don't like cliffhangers or you prefer completed stories. I am really enjoying the serial format of this series, it is really fun and I love the shorter novella format.
This book continues to deliver an intense, fast paced, exciting, page turner in this ongoing saga. Daegen remains under pressure to find the Immortak Grimoires and is now he is forced to work with Casidhe whom he believes betrayed him. In addition, to finding the tomes that are needed to save mankind and preternaturals, the Tribunal has charged him with finding Sen and returning him to the Tirbunal in 24 hrs or suffer dire consequences. Both he and Adrianna are being held by a powerful Immortak, but the Tribunal offers no assistance. The parallel story lines, all which are critical to the main story, also keep the reader engaged and emotionally invested. Adrianna, who controls Witchlock, seems to have lost her ability to wield it, leaving her and Sen as potential victims to be possessed by the evil beings. The Beladors try to contain the demons, but are now being hunted by humans, Reese and Quinn battle the demons but also the worst Demon of all, Reese’s father, and of course, Cathbad, Maeve and Macha remain key players. Every character and story aspect keep the tension growing. The ending is an amazing cliffhanger (as always) that leaves the reader longing for the next installment.
If you love thrills, love, heartbreak, betrayal, a roller coaster of things then this mini-series is definitely for you! It has everything in it and has you waiting as you turn the page. Dianna continues to impress and keep your emotions being tugged in all directions. I love the writing and it makes waiting for book 8 more anxious.
Time is running out and Deagan is suffering from the betrayal he feels from Casidhe. He's blocking himself off from her as more truth keeps unfolding. He's finding out from his past and what happened, while still trying to find the grimoire that he needs to save his Belador. The tribunel isn't helping matters either when it comes to the beladors and wanting to keep them alive.
Casidhe is feeling the lies coming undone and the truth of Herrick hatred and how it's clouded things is coming to light. She's struggling when her life has been based off one's hatred, and the dragon that she's come to known and admire isn't the same that was painted for her. She still needs to find the grimoires even if it means running into Deagan and trying to work together.
Wow just wow! Book 7 continues the roller-coaster of plot twists and turns. Despite Daegan feeling betrayed by Casidhe and refusing to let her explain, the oracle states he needs to work with her to find and decipher the grimoires. Before they can start Skarde fills Daegan in on some of their past whilst Maeve had him locked away, and unexpectedly reveals he knew Jennyver and is angry with Herrick over his involvement in her entrapment. The Beladors are stretched thin due to the demons and immortiks and then have to contend with a new black ops group enforcing the curfew, and if all that wasn't bad enough for out heroes, Macha is called by Loki to the tribunal where they come to an agreement over the grimoires and the identity of Daegan's mother. This novella was over too quickly and the end left me screaming at my kindle and cursing Diana's name (sorry) I can't wait for the final 2 installments to get the answers to all the questions and to read them from the beginning in one go!

I loved everything about it, including the multiple cliff-hangers that involved the numerous thrilling storylines. They are phenomenal. I know they are most likely going to be bad for the characters, but they going to be magnificently satisfying from a reader's perspective.
Once again, Love weaves a story that grips my attention and never lets go. She delivers those epic events that I dread reading, but want to read so desperately, if that makes sense. I don't like stories that are all sunshine and rainbows, and this most certainly isn't. There are struggles and losses, balanced with humor and victories. Also, I just want to mention I adore the banter and how entertaining it is.
This is one of the few series I have read that didn't have a lull in the excitement. For me, there is usually one book in every series where I think "Eh, that one wasn't as exciting as the others." Seven books in, and they just keep getting more and more explosive. I'm ready for the next one!
Book 7 picked up the pace in a big way. By now, we’re deep in the war threatening to consume both the human and supernatural worlds, and the stakes just keep rising. Daegan’s leadership is truly being tested, and I love seeing how much he’s grown—not just as a king, but as someone who genuinely cares about those he protects.
The tension between him and Casidhe continues to build, and I’m here for it. There’s a push-pull between them that feels earned, and I love how their connection is emotional as much as it is powerful. Casidhe is still trying to figure out who she is and where she belongs, and I think her journey mirrors Daegan’s in a really thoughtful way.
There’s also a sense that the prophecy is getting closer to fulfillment, and every chapter felt like another piece falling into place. It’s intense, but in a good way. Dianna Love does such a great job of making the danger feel real without losing the heart of the story.
Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 7 had a wonderful pace and great momentum from beginning to end. Readers are treated to more history from a long gone by era that sheds light on Daegan’s past as well as other characters.
Followers of the series will know from book six that there is an awful lot in motion right now. Book seven pushes those issues to the forefront and forces characters to make decisions and take action. Things are all coming to a head as there are only two more books left.
This was a fun read with details you won’t want to miss. There is a doozy of a cliff-hanger at the end like the other books. Each book is like a season finale as you wait for the next season to start. Fortunately for us Dianna Love has been kind and the wait will only be a few months.
This installment is full of all sorts of crazy things that keeps you on a emotional roller coaster. Daegan and Tristan continue to search for the grimoires volumes, while the rest of the Beladors work to protect humans against the Imortiks. Instead of helping, the Tribunal plots to destroy Daegan and of course they aren't the only one. Poor guy is getting beat on from all sides. And the worst part, because of misunderstandings, he and Casidhe are no longer in a good place!
Same as the rest of the series, the latest installment doesn't disappoint and I can't wait for the next one. We're close to the end of the series so time is running out. Will our heroes find the Grimoires and save the world from the Imortiks? Will Daegan and Casidhe work out their issues? I can't wait to read all about it!!!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TREOIR DRAGON CHRONICLES BOOK 7" WOW!!!!! BUCKLE UP for one h*ll of a rollercoaster ride full of suspense, intrigue, secrets, emotional turmoil, action packed, intense drama, twists & turns such an addicting read. Casidhe has been lied to by Hennrick since the start making it so Daegan wants nothing to do with her it they have find next grimoire so it won't be easy to avoid one another. Imortiks are coming from everywhere Reece is trying to figure where their all coming from she's worried about the baby. I definitely recommend to get this book you can't put it down everything is coming to head Daegan learns more about his past history as well so much happens & the mindblowing cliffhanger your on the edge of your seat what an adventure I'm so looking forward to book 8.
Family loyalty is strained to the breaking point and beyond. Casidhe's tenuous bonds with Herrick are shattered as she realizes just how deep his deception has gone. Will she be able to forgive his obsessive hatred for the dragon she has come to admire above all? Daegan's trust in the researcher is broken. Feeling betrayed, he closes his emotions and shuts down any explanations. But with the Immortiks gaining ground, the gravity of losing the chance to find the second of three grimoires strikes deep. With the Beladors and the entire world in danger, can working with the enemy be harder than losing all hope of saving the future? Will the demons break through and engulf those decent and caring? Will treachery become the watchword for survival?
If you can handle cliffhangers, action, intrigue and unpredictability that snares you in and entertains you as you scroll through or turn the pages then I would encourage you to give this series a try because the first episode to this one is awesomely done with great world building as well.
You will meet Daegan, Cassidhe, Herrick and many more that my poor stressed out brain can remember.
I just know what I like, enjoy and hope others will give this series a chance. I'm waiting with anticipation and trying to be patient for the next book.
I highly recommend this book, yes I volunteered and was given a complimentary copy. Because I know what I like I had to share my honest opinion and no compensation was not involved.
The action-filled adventure in this story kept me riveted. I was so engrossed that when I reached the end, all I could think was no, it can end now!!!!! Will Daegan ever get rid of the venom and regains his full powers? What will he be like then? The demons just keep coming, more Imortiks are breaking free, missing grimoires need to be found, and they have a timeframe of only six more days left to prevent Imortiks from taking over the world! Can they stop them is 6 days? This action-packed book has danger, demons, druids, dragons, magic, Viper, Lann an Chartais, battles, Imortiks, secrets revealed, betrayal, Beladors, suspense, mystery, the Oracle, grimoires, dragon history, humor, twists and turns and so much more!
This series continues to captivate. I know I continue to beleaguer my dislike of cliff hangers but this series may well cure me of that. This author delivers in follow up books. That being said the cliff hanger at the end of this book was abrupt and with all the evil factions at work on multiple fronts I eagerly await Book 8. There are misunderstandings among multiple levels and at times it seems the evil factions are taking over but I hold out hope that Daegan and Casidhe will prevail along with Tristan, Adrianna and the Belador’s. Those demi-gods on the tribunal are also quite aggravating and it’s amazing no one has figured out a way to take them out. I appreciate being part of the ARC crew in exchange for an honest review.
As with all the books in this series. She leaves you wanting more. Daegan believes Casidhe lied to him about everything.. She was a pawn of Herrick's the whole time. Now she is alone. No family, no friends and has a powerful weapon she knows nothing about. And powers she does not yet understand. The Gods of the Tribunal have given Daegan a time limit to get Sen back. he has no idea where he is at. Reese and Quinn have a decision to make, one that no one should have to make. This book has love, angst, and adventure...More than any person could want. Ms. Love sucks you into the lives of all her characters and Leaves you wanting more. Can't wait for the next 2 books in this series.
I love coming back to this world and these players upon the stage. The loyalty of these bands of Beladors to each other and their King is refreshing in a world filled with sad news stories. Demons and Imortiks threaten the human world, they were kept in an alternate realm but a fracture in a wall has spilled some into our world. How do we seal them back up? This and the pursuit of dragon history keep us enthralled looking for answers. Meanwhile the smartphone laden mob can't wait to take pictures. What's a Beladore to do? Find out :D
Treoir Dragon Chronicles Book 7 By Dianna Love Review by Stephanie Rodriguez
Monsters everywhere The series continues with a lot of insights and more clever reveals that leave us with more questions. I feel like the truth is out there but it hasn’t been revealed yet. Whirlwind battles that leave me breathless. Our hero’s are all worn out but keep fighting on all fronts. I want to stand and shout, scream and twist my hands, I’m so involved! This series is right up there with Game of Thrones! Wow!!
This series is so full of Edge of your seat suspense. Each of these characters have such stories to add to the excitement. You find yourself rooting for some for sure. Casidhe is trying so hard to make things right with Daegan but it always seems to backfire. Everyone in Atlanta is up in arms and things are getting worse. Daegan can't be everywhere but is being pulled in so many directions. I can't wait until the next book comes out and I find out what happens next.
Still wrapped up in the story, as it continues to build in Book 7! Casidhe is becoming a confident, powerful heroine and she is sure to continue to be key as this series continues. The constant action and adventure, with a little bit of romance, in an alternate Atlanta (and wide variety of settings), is addicting and makes it difficult to put down to do things like work, clean, engage with real people... I highly recommend starting at book 1 and not stopping until you've caught up...then, you can be tortured with waiting like the rest of us!
If you have come this far in the series you could not quit now. You are part of the world by now and eagerly return as soon as you can. The characters have so much going on you forget your surroundings. Finding a lost object is one of them. The monsters are something that had to be address. Prisoners need to break out so the tension will escalate several times in this. Non humans and humans what a mix in a riveting series that will have you doing more than turning the pages, you will be stepping in and not wanting to step out.
Am totally loving this series, and that’s big because I don’t normally read cliffhanger series. Dianna is able to create characters that I love and her action and intrigue are top notch. The whole series has been building, like riding the roller coaster to the top of the tallest part of the ride and now with two books left I feel about to go over to the thrilling drop down the other side. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Great continuation of this series, it’s been keeping me on the edge and wanting more! I honestly don’t like cliffhangers never did but for Ms. Love’s stories I will, she’s that good! Two more books until the end I can’t wait to see how it plays out and also a little sad that it will be over, them I get to binge read it all at one time I’m excited for that!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
There is so much going on in this action-packed book. Draegon continues to try to find and rescue his sister Jennyver, as well as the Beladors who have been kidnapped. He also must fight to stop the Immortiks from fully tearing down the wall holding them back. They could destroy the world. Draegon is also struggling to decide how much he can trust Skarde and Casidhe.
More Immortiks than ever continue to escape their prison. Demons are growing in number. Dark Druids are seeking power. The Tribunal is ever more vindictive. The Beladors continue to fight for humanity's safety. Humans are attacking everyone suspected of being nonhuman. Can Daegan find what is needed to stop the danger? I hope to learn more in Book 8.
This serial just keeps getting better and better. As we begin the third trilogy there's a bit of the feeling of riding a runaway train. So much is happening that I kept thinking "I don't want this to end cuz it's been a great series, but boy do I ever want to find out how everything works out". A worth-while read from a very talented author.
