Gladria isn't a safe planet to make a life. A spaceship catastrophe left me stranded on the scorching planet of Gladria, and I just want to get home. At least that's my goal until I lock eyes with Vale, and everything changes. Soulmates aren't supposed to exist. And my soulmate certainly can't be an intimidating alien prince with a tail—a tail!— and power over ice and snow.
Annie is mine, but I cannot claim her. No male has imprinted on a female in two generations, but the moment I see her, I know Annie is mine. She's human and can't understand a word I say, but fate is stronger than a language barrier. I'm not the only male who wants her, but I won't let anyone else near her. She belongs to me, even if I refuse to claim her myself. I can't ask her to make a life with me on Gladria. The planet is too inhospitable. But knowing that she's my fated mate, how can I let her go?

Found By The Alien Defender de Lindsey Devin serie Lost In The Stars libro 2
Argumento:
Ella me pertenece, incluso si me niego a reclamarla yo mismo.
Siento haber herido tus sentimientos, te use y me usaste, ahora estamos a mano?!
Ugh, I was a little bored. Took me way longer to read than it should have. I did read it to completion, so it kept me hooked enough to finish. IDK, felt a bit tired and I can't really put my finger on the why of that.
Poor world building. It was clear that the authors headspace was preprogrammed that the characters were meant to fall in love. So there is no authentic development for them to do so. Just a sequence of expected steps and nothing unique about it. Nothing that would spark and grow the attraction and end up being a start of a real love. The plot was like a bunch of friends running around like idiots pretending to rule a whole planet and it’s inhabitants. Shaking my head.
Annie Long woke, knowing something was wrong. Gravity was off, it was dark, cold, sound was muffled, and her head ached. She realized she was in her spacesuit… but why? Then thoughts started to return. The asteroid storm. Asking everyone to put on their spacesuits, merely as a precaution. Now she was alone, freezing and dying, hoping to catch a glimpse of one more sunrise. Then suddenly something pulled her backward at high speed and muscular arms wrapped around her. Landing on the floor, her helmet was removed and she saw… aliens looking at her! So they did exist! Or maybe this was still a hallucination. She saw 3 of her friends unconscious and they were taken to a room and put into clear standing up containers. One container had a blue-lipped woman with frost over her eyelids. Then Annie was put in a clear case also. She was too weak to fight. She watched the alien look sadly into another case and touch it as if he would stroke her face. Then her own eyes closed.
Vale knew he imprinted on the being he brought into his ship. His second-in-command, Quil, told him he had imprinted as well, but for him, it was just an excuse to meld with the females, for practice for his mate, he said. But Vale’s people depending on him to protect against the pirates. He could not take a mate. It wasn’t safe to raise a family on his planet either. His planet was too hot for the human, but right now, she needed that and his ability to control ice and snow would keep her cooler when she once warmed up. Two of his friends, Rizi and Selva, transported them to the fort so Rizi could check Annie over. Quil would not put her down, even on the seat next to him in the vehicle.
When Vale finally got a message through to Bask who had rescued McKenna, a human, from the same area that Annie had been found, Bask verified Annie was one of McKenna’s friends. Vale would take her to Bask’s planet. But Vale realized he had imprinted and didn’t want her to leave. Yet he had to make her safe, and his planet was not safe. He had intended to never mate. But he wanted to meld with Annie, he wanted a future with her! What would he do? And what about Quil who seemed to want her also, although maybe not for the same purpose.
This was a well-done story line. The opening chapters describing the asteroid collision and alien capture were beautifully detailed so the reader was surrounded with the reality Annie was experiencing. I think I almost started to sweat on the sizzling planet of Gladria! What does the future hold for Annie, Vale, and Quil? The pirates are still a major danger, and they don’t yet have the weapons to fight them off. And losing Annie, if she went to Phyrria with Bask and McKenna, would completely distract Vale. There seemed to be no practical solution… or was there an option?
Loved this story. Such intense and wonderful characters. The story was full on and gripping. But so glad Annie was rescued and then her life gradually changed. Vale was a big softy where she was concerned though hesitant in accepting their growing bond until Annie made her move. All the characters were well written as part of the overall tale. I kinda felt for Quil but hope there is a strong woman for him in the future. There were hurdles with pirates to overcome before they could enjoy their HEA, though wasn't happy about living apart. But as you read this book you will understand why, for now! I also liked the pirate King - Lehrit. You know that there is a connection to Gia and we have to hope they come together. Looking forward to more. :)
After the initial crash the women on the station get sucked into space. This is the story of what has happened to Annie. She is found by one set of aliens who she finds out later are pirates but after being cast out into the void again she is rescued by Vale. He is a king in the making but has no desire to become so. His planet is stupid hot and he has the power to freeze. Not that helpful to Annie when she is alredy an icicle but she feels a pull to him none the less. Vale imprints on Annie but then apparently so does his friend Qil. He has to endure the pain of possibly never having the one who is the other half of him. The pirates attack again but will they win this time?

Vale pulls a floating glass coffin into his spaceship and finds that there is a person in there. He knows the minute he sees her that he has imprinted on her. Annie couldn't understand anything being said but she knew that the alien looking at her makes her feel safe, protected and loved. They can't even understand each other but they speak with their eyes and their hearts. Vale's planet is hot as hell and so Vale and his friend Quil can shoot ice and snow out of their hands and that keep his people from cooking on their planet, Gladria. There is so much action, adventure, some drama, betrayal, pirates, and icy steamy passion. Can't wait for the next book in this series. Intensely gripping and a story that flowed right off the pages! This was a different story for me, it was visually stimulating and very engaging! These characters come to life immediately. You know your going to read something extraordinary when it starts off with a explosion you see coming but not expecting to feel! This is a n incredibly written story that has twist and turns that you will not see coming! Incredible story!

This is the second book in this series. Both books are wonderful with the mix of action and romance Each of the books so far can be read as a stand alone with a HEA. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series. It is wonderful how they are all connected and have a wide array of characters in them. This author is a great one at telling the story in such a way you can hardly put the books down until finished.

Vale's duty toward his people has been his driving force so long that when he rescues Annie and knows that she''s his, even though Quil insists she's his also, Vale keeps her at arms length. Annie feels the attraction between them, if only they could communicate. I loved the misunderstandings that their inability to fully communicate, at first caused and how the story unfolded. The characters were well written and the worldbuilding was excellent. A really great read.

The second book in the Lost In The Stars series a well written sci-fi story that kept me turning pages. Human Annie and Gladrian Vale's story of suspense, danger, imprinting, pirates, twists, turns, and love. I want to read Lehrit an alien pirate king and Gia Gould's story. A story that held my interest until the end. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I hadn’t read book 1 in this series but I will now after reading this story I loved Annie’s and Vale’s story but Vale frustrated the hell out of me so much he knew that Annie was his fated mate but he wouldn’t claim her and he wouldn’t let the other men claim her either he was so stubborn, they couldn’t understand each other but there’s no fighting fate. Fantastic story I loved the characters and their sizzling 🔥 chemistry and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
I enjoyed reading this book, the interaction and chemistry between the characters of Annie and Vale is wonderful. This book, has a good storyline, it is entertaining, and filled with action and adventure. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Another incredible book! I am really enjoying this series.
Vale and Annie are knew they also belonged together. Annie was one of McKenna scientist shipmates. Bask and McKenna are King and Queen of Phyrria and Vale and Annie are King and Queen of Gladria. Once again I could not put my Kindle down!
He captured her right out of space and she was his! Or would she be? His best friend wanted her too. Read to find out what happens! As long as the pirates don't keep her!
Great second book in this very enjoyable series. Wonderful and captivating scenery brings to life a very different way of existence. Romance, pirates, raids, lost in space coffin like contrivances really make for a terrific adventure.
I absolutely positively love Vale and Annie. I enjoyed every minute of their love story even when I found Quil to be annoying most of the time. Now I am ready to read about Gia and her pirate king! ☠ 🤴
I have really enjoyed this series. Can’t wait to to read the next book. Vail and Anna is a very sweet and beautiful love story. Read this series you will be glad you did
I really wanted to like this novel but I tried 6 times to push myself through it and finally gave up. Why?: there is so much detail, repeated again and again; it made me feel like a dummy. 2nd, the chapters “jumped” - making me ask, “wait a minute- how did we get here?”.
I really enjoyed this book. With a good strong storyline and characters that have great personalities. A good performance from Maggie. Looking forward to the next book.
Another alien, a desert planet with diamonds, and more pirates. Vale, the icy alien from the first book, and Annie from the explorer ship with hints of others surviving. Looking forward to read about what happened to the others in the glass coffins.
