NOTE: I received a Kindle version of this book from a GoodReads giveaway. The opinions in this review are my own.
This vibrant picture book is a cute read for beginning detectives. It features interactive text as well as a few pages where the characters interact with the reader. This would be a good read aloud for parents and teachers of preschoolers. It helps children develop observation and critical thinking skills. It would be a good addition for STEAM curriculum in preschool and kindergarten classrooms.
I loved this book! As an artist, as an ex-kid I was all in from the title alone. Missing colors, oh no! Not a b/w world! EEEEEEEEEk!!! This is a good book to introduce colors AND the mystery genre to someone regardless of their age. (For the older crowd, the victim who's paint is missing looks like Bob Ross!) This was a quick read for me but you can easily stretch it out. Recommended wholeheartedly. [I had trouble viewing on my phone but transferred to kindle was good.]
* I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a very cute and simple detective story told with engaging illustrations inviting readers to look for clues together with Johnny Pawprints. The case of The missing paints turns out to be a very sweet story and not what you would expect. A nice surprise.
This book was very cute. Definitely meant for a younger audience. The book had a good flow to it. I think the younger kids will have fun trying to figure out who did it.
I won this book in the goodreads giveaways! Super cute detective book! Read this to my little niece who was 3 and loved it! Short and sweet, but kept her intrigued while also focusing on her learning colors!
This is a cute and fun detective story for young readers with beautiful illustrations to look for clues along with Johnny Paw prints. A sweet detective story.
