Exquisitely written!

This was a quick novella and a very impactful one, I might add. My knowledge of Dyslexia as it affects people has increased dramatically and for the better.
Although I do not have Dyslexia, I can feel the wins, losses, anger, frustration, sadness and happiness Alan has experienced throughout his life.
He opens the world into a lens that is raw and unfiltered. He holds nothing back, and why should he?
Highly recommend.

I don't know what I was expecting when I picked up this book, but I wasn't expecting to discover that I knew little to nothing about dyslexia. The author gives a very frank, and eye opening account of his life and his daily struggles, with both society and himself. A very educational read. The monologues at the end were fantastic. Overall, well worth a read.

A quick read, quite different from what I was expecting. Far from the traditional fiction novel, Rain Dancer is a thought-provoking compilation of insights about contemporary life. A book anyone with an introspective mind will relate to.
