This was a wonderful second chance romance . During their college years Lori and Matt were very much in love and looking forward to a life with each other . One stupid wrong move by Matt and everything was gone. She moved on and never looked back. She married, had two children and then got divorced. More than twenty years later Lori moves back home to start over after her recent divorce. She is an accomplished author and also writes a newspaper column. She applies to the Star newspaper and gets the job she wants. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that Matt is her boss. She realizes that all those old feelings are still there but she cannot act on them. Matt has a reputation as a player. He knows that Lori was the one that got away and he still loves her. He is going to do whatever it takes to win her back.

With all the love there is also a bit of mystery that will keep you holding your breathe. I loved every minute of their story and didn't want it to end. It deserves every one of the five stars.
