Forever is the ninth book in the Diamond Doms series by Ivy Nelson. I seem to have a habit of jumping into a series a bit backwards as when I started this book, I hadn’t noticed that it was the ninth, and final, book in the series. I was taken in by the intriguing blurb, one-clicking and diving in before I realised that I was coming in at the wrong end lol.
So, having said that, I really recommend reading this series from the beginning, to get the full information package of character introductions, as well as the bridging ‘mystery’ that spans the series, and the other intriguing details that I am sure would enhance your reading experience even more.
This is a contemporary romance with a sexy and erotic storyline that set my kindle on fire. The story is not for the faint of heart though- as it has some reallly intense BDSM scenes that may be too much for some readers. But, there is more to the story than just the sizzle and steam- there is mystery, tension, suspense, danger, adventure, action, and plenty of dramatic developments that had me flipping the pages to find out what happens next. I couldn’t put it down, reading the entire book in one session…… what a ride!
Even though I have come in at the end and have witnessed all the threads being tied up, I will definitely be going back to the beginning and reading the series as a whole to find out what played out previously. I am also adding Ms. Nelson to my ‘must read’ authors list.

Thank you, Ivy Nelson!

A disappointment in one way and meets expectations in another - read on KU

If you have been reading this series as suspense romance, you will be sorely disappointed in this, the last book. It's so hard to not give a spoiler here about the bad guys. I will say this that is a spoiler. When the final confrontation happens, we don't even see it first hand. Our FMC takes a nap through it. The MMC has a scene that is the beginning of that confrontation and wrap up but the book then cuts to her waking from her nap. He comes back from the whole thing and ignores her for the night completely even though his eyes wife shows up. He never considers explaining any of it to her. So, she leaves. Who could blame her?

We get a low key, very short retelling of the event from when he tracks her down a week later. The whole thing is anticlimactic.

And, as for him recovering from treating her badly, he doesn't make a bug enough gesture. She doesn't make him grovel enough.

Now, if you read this series thinking, hey, this is a series about a sex club - a bdsm sex club - and there will be a lot of dirty sex, you will find that for the first time in the series. There are only two reasons I would read a series about a sex club. The first, and less likely reason, is I love the author and will try anything she reads. The first book in the series was the first I remember reading by this author. These books are just not good enough to make me want to read more by her. The second reason I read a series about a sex club is because I want some hot, non-vanilla steam. And this series has majorly failed in that sense. There have been some sex scenes in each book that aren't vanilla but it is only usually once per book, if that. And the kinky scenes, or parts of scenes, are short, in most cases. And there are usually no more than 3 scenes per book. Again, I'm reading about a group of people who repeatedly gather at a sex club. I expect a lot of HOT sex. From that standpoint, the whole series has been a huge disappointment. This one definitely has a fair bit of kink. One or two things are beyond what I can even imagine enjoying but everyone has their own thing. I can't believe reviewers complaining about BDSM elements when, yet again, it is a series splintered around a BDSM club. The series is named Diamond Doms. Not Diamond Book Boyfriends. Doms. I would have preferred way, way less 24/7 dominating and more in the sheets dominating the whole series. No matter how much I love a man, he isn't going to choice what I'm allowed to do.

I will stop there and say that sometimes the women in the series were bordering making too stupid to live decisions. Someone needed to set them straight. However, the men far beyond helping them make sane decisions. I am not rating this book or the series any later based on living that dominant/submissive lifestyle as others may like that.

All in all, there was a lack of imagination in the bad guys' side of the equation. I mean, there are 3 bad groups in the entire series, or something like that. They've been looking for a connection and the answer to that question was, again, very disappointing. With most of the books, the new MMC, seemed to be the most vital to the group even if he was an outlying character in a previous one. A good portion of the women were weak willed. Certainly not strong, role model type women.

The author also seemed to not know a lot about BDSM. I expect that is spicy there weren't more spicy scenes. I think she wrote about her few preferred kinks and nothing beyond that. They were Ina facility full of furniture for that purpose and it is barely mentioned in any of the books. I really would guess that she lacked the confidence to write those scenes. I was looking for something more along the early BDSM club series by Linzi Bassett but with good editing. While the grammar was worlds better, it still wasn't great.

There was just enough I liked about the series to make me read the next. However, I would be OK if I had never read this series. It was something to read and that's about it. I will NOT be reading more by this author intentionally.

Hella hot!

Russel and Gemma are incredible. (Yes I say that about all of the couples because they ARE) the mystery plaguing the Doms and their subs finally gets revealed and oh the suspense. The ties that bind really do apply here to the mystery and why they're being targeted.

The kink is off the charts! What else would you expect, it's Ivy Nelson...

I'm incredibly sad to say goodbye to the Diamond Doms and I know we'll see more from them in the future ;)

Read the series, you will not be disappointed.

ARC review, my opinions are my own.

I knew that this book would not be something I would normally pick-up because of the S/M aspect of this story, but wanting the continuation of the arcing plot had me reading it. There are some very heavy sadist/masochist moments so the reader should be prepared before reading. The character development was a bit lacking for me, Gemma came off as more of an observer in this book and sat back and didn't participate much. Russell was more of what you would expect from a Dom, although the author tried to show his more sensitive side it fell a bit flat for me. Although the plot came to a conclusions it was anti-climatic. Gemma missed what happened because she was sleeping and then left in a huff because Russell forgot about her. Although the events were recapped the details were missing and felt like a huge let down to the entire series. I'm sorry to see this series end because I was hoping for a bigger ending.

This story was unique and stood out as being bold even though I knew it was a BDSM love story going in. The couple is sadist/masochist. It's consensual and done elegantly even when it's wow! It went there! The author gives warning to not try these fictional scenes at home without practicing safety. There is such a fine line in these books, where under the wrong circumstances with the wrong person this type of relationship could be considered abuse. The author does a good job of showing that trust and care is essential for both partners. The dom and the sub in this story were both strong characters who found exactly what they need and want in each other. The story is also fun and exciting. There's action and some mystery and there are a lot of supporting characters from the other books in the series and I liked the friendships and bonds between them. I definitely want to read their stories as well. All in all it was an exciting read and I really enjoyed it. I received this as an ARC copy and this is my honest opinion.

Wow! What a way to end a series! I love this series each and every book I read was different. Even though each book contains many of the same characters or side characters, each book offered a different story and different type of relationship between the main characters. This book was exciting and had me interested until the very end. I think this book is one of the most hottest and spiciest in this whole series. We don't get to read too much about Russell in the other stories so I feel like he was a totally new character. I love how Russell was going through a lot of mental and emotional issues while dealing with Gemma and her marital situation. This book had a lot of action and excitement that didn't all get based in the BDSM club. I thought this was a wonderful book to end the series with and can't wait to reread all the stories again! Can't wait to see what Ivy comes up with next.

I was excited to find out how this series ended and see the resolution to the overarching storyline. I was also excited for Gemma and Russell's book. They have instant chemistry, and I loved watching their relationship play out. Russel is a sadist and Gemma is a masochist, so it was not quite what I generally enjoy, but I knew going in, and it didn't detract from the story for me. And even though it was not my favourite book in the series, I am glad I read it.

The story was okay, but I felt like some parts were skimmed or skipped over, and I was disappointed that one scene in particular was not played out, we saw the set up and found out the aftermath of it, but no real details on *how* it happened were shared.

**spoilers** I wasn't a fan of how one-sided the reconciliation was. Gemma took all the blame for what happened and Russell took very little, even though I feel it was not her fault, other than lack of communication.

Wow, does Ivy know how to wrap up a series or what?! Thanks to some teasers, I knew this book would be a little more intense in the spicy area than the rest of the Diamond Dom series, but I was nicely caught of guard by the fact that the whole plot of the book was rather intense. I want my spicy books to have a great storyline as well and this one delivers. Russel is captivating with his dominating but loving personality, which happily doesn’t change no matter the person he is talking to or what’s happening. Gemma is exciting and easy to like, which made me happy, because she definitely didn’t come off that way in the other few times we interacted with her. All in all, great ending book for this sexy series!

Oh, one other thing, the dedication of this book made me tear up. It was amazing to see the author acknowledge her group in such a wonderful way. Thanks Ivy.

Ivy Nelson did an amazing job with Forever. This is the last book in the Diamond Doms series and it was packed full of angst, adventure, outstanding character development and some intense BDSM action that just added to the gold that this series is made of. There are surprises from page one and I am honored to have had the opportunity to receive an ARC of this book. If you haven't read any of the series at least go back and read the last 4. Reading this as a stand alone is a disservice to yourself and journey the characters of the series themselves. Having finished this series I am hoping that she creates another. I am grateful that I have the ability to share this review and 5 stars isn't enough.

Sight. Sight. Literally… sight… it’s done. I believe I am a tidbit upset with Ivy Nelson. Finished. How just can that be? It’s so not fair. Sure there’s more to find to leave them all alive…. But I am sooo happy about this last book in the series! Why? Because it features my preferred diamond Dom, Master Russel! Or Rusty, lol. I had a good laugh about that one. I wouldn’t dare call him that! As I thought, Gemma is just the right challenge to him. Wonderful! And what’s extremely good is that Russel’s the right fist for her as well!
The danger is very real in this installment as well, so don’t forget to read the previous books in order to be able to tie the knots together or you’ll be lost in Solitaire…
Btw, there’s no typo. Enjoy your read and understand!

OMG!! What an ending to the mystery!

All the pieces are now tied together - but I may have to go back and re-read this series and remind myself even more of the details and family connections! This last couple had the most extreme kink and there were lots of hot scenes when they got together! I loved how so many of the characters were involved in finally figuring out the mystery and taking down the evil group causing the mayhem all along! You've gotta read this book - but it really helps to have the background of the other stories in the series.

This is the last book in the Diamond Doms series and Russell and Gemma’s story. This book is wonderfully written, with amazing characters and character development, and filled with angst, suspense, action, steamy intense BDSM scenes, and romance. I loved everything about Russell and Gemma’s story and couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend.

Omg you did it again Ivy Nelson . I give five stars ⭐️. The Dom has his hands full with his best friends wife . Russell and Gemma's story was a adventurous journey in and out of the bedroom. Their story intertwined with the previous books as the tale of the Diamond Dom continued and answered questions for all. Very INTENSE connection between the main characters. I just love thank you ☺️

Without giving things away I felt that Gemma was different in this book from the previous one and it didn’t feel like her book. Now Russell definitely shined in this book. The take down was good although we missed out on some things. I was let down after all the hype BUT overall I loved this series!!

Forever

Russell and Gemma!!! Mind blowing! Loved this book. I’ve always been curious about Russell. He is a very dynamic character. It has been great getting to know him. Ever since Gemma showed up, I was hoping these two characters would get together.

Happy to finally have all the answers about who was behind the Diamond Doms problems and harassment. It was all so exciting. Wish there was more to this series but this is a great ending to a great series.

I do have to add a quick word of warning. There are very intense BDSM scenes in this story. They were well written but still a bit hard to read. I’d still recommend this to any fans a BDSM romance.

ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I cannot make up my mind. So, choose them all. You cannot go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle. This was a perfect book to end the series.. But I hope for more Christmas Stories!! Would love to see what has happened to the others after all this time :)

Forever is the last chapter of the Club Solitaire founders. Russell is a sadist and Gemma is a masochist so the development of their relationship should be quick and easy, right? Well… maybe not. The chemistry between these two characters is off the charts and pulled me into the story. I felt like I was there.
This was one of those books that I just didn’t want to put down. I would say just one more chapter, then just one more chapter and before I knew it, it would be 3 o’clock in the morning.
This is the 9th book in the series, and they are intertwined. It is best if you read the other books first for the background and the stories on the other owners of Club Solitaire. Forever ties all the others together and answers questions. I hate the series is over and can’t wait for the next series that Ivy Nelson writes.

I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review.

Was not what I was expecting at all

Forever is the ninth book in the A Diamond Doms series and is the story of Gemma Livingston and Russell Adler. This series is best read in order as there is an overarching story-line and characters that cross-over. Russell and Gemma end up being a couple that ended up being something that I was not quite ready for, especially when just reading the books description. Russell is a Dom who is a true sadist and Gemma ends up being a sub who is masochistic. For me this was not my thing at all and I ended up skimming over most of their interactions, as they turned me off which is not what I expect when reading a smexy hot story and given the previous books in the series. The rest of the actual story is good and kept me interested enough to get to the end.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own and this story was just not my thing, but it may be others. Just be warned that there is a lot of sadistic play between this couple so if it is not your thing that you might want to skip this book.

Forever is the exciting conclusion for the Diamond Doms of Club Solitaire. It is best to have read the previous books to understand the events that lead to Forever.

During the journey, we have come across eight distinctly unique couples who have fallen in love and persevered as they endeavoured to battle against the entity working to bring them down, individually and as a BDSM community.

From the day they met, Russell and Gemma have had a strong connection but he has a steadfast rule against married woman. Gemma's marriage is in name only to his friend Matthew. Even though they are trying to obtain an very amicable divorce, the club's antagonist is preventing the club members from living their best lives. No matter which resources they expend, it seems that the other side is always one or two steps ahead. Russell and his security company are trying to keep everyone secure but the safe houses keep getting compromised. Even when two sources come forward with necessary intelligence information, will the friends finally break free and find peace from their enemy?

You have to read this compelling finale to the Diamond Doms to find out who has been behind all the woes and suffering all the couples have been through. You won't regret it!

OMG!! This was a great book to end this series, although I hate that it is ending. The ability of Ivy to make her characters so believable. She developed Russel and Gemma in a way I never expected. There was more suspense in this last book that made it hard to put down. I will not give details about the story as you have to read it for yourself. Hopefully you have read all the previous books as it is important to know the dynamics of the couples involved. Happy reading. I will miss the Diamond Doms but look forward to Ivy's next series.

I have enjoyed several books, however this one fell a bit flat for me. I'm loath to give spoilers, so I will say I never connected with either Russell or Gemma. The behaviour of both characters did not endear them to me. The ending came of as lukewarm. I read an arc of this book.
To each their own, whatever consenting adults want to do in their private lives is no business of mine. That said this book just didn't work for me. Gemma's particular brand of pleasure was just too much. In fact I really didn't connect with her character, or find her relationship with Russell that interesting..

I have to agree with others as this final book was a disappointment compared to the others. don't much enjoy the S/M aspect of BDSM. but that is not the reason for the so-so rating. A less than worthy conclusion to this series. Gemma was a very unlikeable character and Russell just crossed over long held moral boundries very quickly for someone as blah as Gemma. I expected a better conclusion to this series as all the preceding books were a very worthwhile read.

the finale

Russel and Gemma are an exciting couple. However I am not a fan of a satis, I don’t think pain is sexy. I would have liked the books to go into how exactly they took down the international crime organization. Russel says he loves her more than anything, but it takes him a week to go to London and tell her anything. I would have told him to LEAVE. This book is lacking a lot.

Ivy Nelson has written a 5-star book. This is the final book for A Diamond Dom Series. This is the story of Gemma and Russell. Even though this book is about Gemma and Russell. it involves the rest of the Solitaire members. It is the end of the story about who is trying to take them all down.
Things are getting more and more stressful for them all. Matthew had sent Gemma to Solitaire when things got bad for them overseas. No one at Solitaire knew he was married and was shocked when Gemma showed up out of the blue. When Russell meets Gemma for the first time, he is attracted to her but he has a thing about not messing around with married women. Gemma tells him that they don't have that type of relationship. They didn't want to be married to each other, to begin with. She tells him that Russell wanted to marry her sister Kendall. Finally, Russell decides to try a Dom/sub relationship with her. After Russell has Gemma, he can't stop wanting her and they start sleeping together. Things start happening that have the group moving from one place to another. The group finds out that there is a connection between certain members of the group to people from Redstone. They need to find out what that connection is. Holly, Elijah's wife is the daughter of Nicolas Sutton and he is involved with Redstone and he calls and wants a meeting with all the board members of Solitaire. He has things he wants to tell them. They are not sure about the meeting with him. He tells them that he has information on Redstone people in a storage place and he gives them the key to it. Samual is the one who goes to get the stuff. Once it is brought back, When they go through the information, he finds a letter from his ex-wife and she wants to get out from under Redstone. There is a picture of her in the files and he has them in his office. He has gone in there to do some work and he takes out the picture and looks at it. Gemma comes down and they are going back upstairs when they pass his office. He tells her he needs to turn the lights off and when they walk in, she sees the picture of Russell and his ex-wife on their wedding day. They look so happy and she gets upset thinking that he wants to be with her again. She had picked up the picture to look at it but she drops it and starts to leave the room. Russell stops her and it doesn't go well. Russell knows he is going to call his ex-wife but he doesn't tell her what he is going to do. When he calls her, he tells her about the letter, she wants to know how he knows, he tells her how he got it. He wants to know why she wants out and she tells him. They discuss things and how he will get her out. The next morning Elijah calls him and tells him he is on his way home and not to tell Holly, he wants to surprise her, he said that he would be home in seven hours and asked Russell to have someone to pick him up. Later that day, Jax calls him and asked "What time did you say he was landing?" Russell said that he was due forty-five minutes ago. Are you on your way back yet? Jax said that he had not seen his plane yet. Russell said that he would call the pilot and find out what was going on. When he gets ahold of the pilot, he finds out they had landed an hour before and he was already home. He wants to know what is going on. The pilot tells him that when they landed, Elijah had gotten into an SUV and left. Russell put a hand on the back of his head and willed himself not to curse. “OK. This is very important. Which airfield did you fly him to?” “We landed in Los Angeles. It was a last-minute flight change. As I understood it, Mr. Barrett wanted to stop at home before continuing on to your place.” He ended the call without another word and turned to Kendall and Samuel. “Get Lance or Marissa and track his phone. Something isn’t right.” Samuel had his phone out before he finished giving the order. Kendall put a hand on his shoulder. “If they took him, they probably ditched his phone.” He put his hands on his desk and focused on his breathing. Calm was important right now. They didn’t know that Elijah hadn’t decided to go home first. He was an idiot if he had, but anything was possible. His phone rang, and he answered it without looking at the screen. “Adler.” “It’s Evelyn.” “I told you I would call you when I was ready to meet. Now is not a good time.” “Don’t hang up. You said you would help me in exchange for information. I have something for you.” He exhaled. “This better be good. I’m right in the middle of an emergency.” She asks him "You're missing someone right? He froze for a minute before he put the phone on speaker and went to his computer. “If you’re playing me, Evelyn, I swear on everything I will make your life miserable. What do you know?” “Grant Sterling had Elijah Barrett’s flight rerouted and picked him up. He thinks they have Holly. Somehow they manipulated pictures and made it look like they are holding her hostage.” He asked her how she knew that?" She tells him what she knows and that Grant is going to be picking her up and taking her to the gallery to be part of the plan. They discuss what they are going to do to get her and Elijah out of the gallery. He doesn't tell Gemma anything about what is going on and what his part is in it or his ex-wives. He left with the others to go and rescue Elijah and Evelyn. When Gemma woke up Russell was nowhere around. She found Holly and Matthew waiting. Holly told her what was going on. Gemma said that she knew that Russell was going to call his ex-wife but didn't know that he had already. Holly said that Evelyn was the one who called Russell about Elijah. Gemma is hurt that Russell didn't think enough about her to wake her up before he left. When they get back, Evelyn walks in and looks around the living room with a lustful gleam in her eyes. When her gaze landed on Gemma, she walked toward her with an outstretched hand. “Evelyn Adler. Are you a friend of Rusty’s?” Gemma wanted to slap her hand away. “I’m Russell’s girlfriend.” At least she was for now. If he didn’t find her and explain himself soon, that might not be true for very much longer. “I thought you remarried.” Evelyn blinked at her. “I did. But after my second husband died, I went back to using Adler. I had no idea he was seeing anyone.” Gemma smiled. She told Evelyn what they had done before he came to rescue you so yeah, you could say we’re seeing each other. Excuse me.” She turned and headed for the kitchen to make a cup of tea, leaving Evelyn to sputter in shock. “Miss Livingston, can I get you something?” The housekeeper stepped out of the walk-in pantry holding a canister of something. “I’m just going to make tea. I’m surprised you’re still up.” “Mr. Adler phoned ahead and asked me to pull out some food for everyone.” This was the last straw for Gemma, she went up and packed a few things and when to Kendall and Matthew's cabin. When Matthew answered the door, she asked if it was still okay for her to tag along with them to London the next morning. The next morning when she left, all Russell gave her was a kiss on the cheek. Gemma has been back in London for a week and she is still upset over how Russell treated her. Kendall and Matthew are going to be coming over to see her and when there is a knock on her door, she thinks it is them. She goes to answer and said "You could have called if you were going to show up three hours early. Instead of her sister and Mather, it was Russell standing there. She asks him"What are you doing here?" “Well, I was going to take you out for breakfast, but it looks like you need a shower, a maid, and a hairdresser first.” He brushed past her and into the flat. “Christ, Gemma, you’re left on your own for a week and you completely stop taking care of yourself? What am I going to do with you?” “What are you doing here?” Her voice was quieter this time, less accusatory, and more confused. After the way he hadn’t tried to stop her when she left with Matthew and Kendall, she was convinced he was done with her. He’d tried to call a few times since she arrived in London, but he never left messages. “I’m here to take care of you.” “I’m not your responsibility anymore.” “You have two choices. I can carry you to the bathroom, strip you down, and put you in the shower myself, or you can go on your own and I’ll take care of food while you clean up.” “Or you can leave me be and get back to your life. It looks like Evelyn is back on the market. She’s even using your last name.” whether to be turned on or turn and run. “Don’t you get it, Gemma? You are my life. Everything I have, everything I’ve accomplished, it all means nothing if you’re just going to walk out of my life without so much as a wave goodbye.” “How can you say that? You didn’t even consider me important enough to say goodbye when you went out on a life-threatening mission. Nor did you bother giving me a heads up that your ex-wife was about to barge into my world.” “A grave mistake that I will spend the rest of my life apologizing for if I need to. I meant it when I said you were mine.”
Will Gemma give Russell a second chance or will she walk away from him?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This book is the conclusion to the Diamond Does series by Ivy Nelson. She has outdone herself with this book. She maintains the deep development of characters like she has done in previous books. This means that you fall in love with the characters and as they grow throughout the book so does your relationship with them. You can't help but feel everything that they feel. There is suspense, action, romance, and very steamy steamy scenes. You will find yourself going on the adventure that her characters take in this book. You will find yourself talking out loud to the book because you just can't help but add your own two cents about the situations that these characters get into. If you've read the whole series, you will see some characters that you recognize and it is nice to see where they are at in this story.

Gemma and Russel seem to be fighting everything around them and fighting for their relationship at the same time. We watch as Russel goes from protector to lover to protector and back to lover. It is nice seeing the rough edges thaw a little when Gemma is around. Gemma maintains her fiercely strong self worth throughout the book. She doesn't like to show weakness and feels conflicted when her guard is down and those weaknesses are shown. The struggle that these characters go through are struggles that could happen in everyday life. No, I am not talking about the suspense part of the book but ore their moral struggles or self imposed lines they won't cross.

This book has tons of steam. If you have some triggers about masochism and sadism, please be advise that this book is nothing but that type of BDSM relationship and take caution when deciding if to read it. If you don't have any triggers this book is amazing!!! You will love the suspense, action, character development, and obviously the steam.

This book is the finale of the Diamond Dom series and is the culmination of the drama that has plagued the board members of Club Solitaire. We meet all the characters from the previous books and will finally get some resolve to the troubles that have been facing them. This book also centers around board member Russell and board member Matthew's wife, Gemma. They are extremely attracted to each other but Russell refuses to cave to temptation because he values marriage vows as a sacred covenant not to be triffled with. A glimpse into his past sheds light on why he feels this way, but he doesn't understand that Matthew and Gemma only have marriage on paper because of it being a forced marriage by their families. Besides, Matthew and Gemma have been unsuccessfully trying to get a divorce for some time now but troubling things keep happening. It seems that all the trouble the board members have faces are the results of a cult like group called Redstone group, an organization obsessed with wealth and power who will stop at nothing to get it. They will even stoop to murder and blackmail to get what they desire and they have their sights set on the Solitaire board members because they see them as an organization as powerful as theirs. They can't get them to join them so they try to destroy them. This book will definitely keep you on your toes guessing what will happen next. Plus let's not forget the erotic overtones of Russell, a sadist Dom, and Gemma's attraction to each other. These two light the pages on fire! I can definitely recommend this book especially if you're already a reader of the Diamond Doms series as it will tie up all the loose ends from the previous books and gives a very nice conclusion to the series. Plus the scenes between Gemma and Russell are definite scorchers!

What can I say, other than my partner will be forever grateful to Ivy Nelson for this series? I never thought that I would develop an interest in the BDSM lifestyle, nor find enjoyment out of reading this type of novel, but I can certainly say both are on my radar now. I do have the full series of Diamond Doms in my collection, however, did not have the ability to read all of them prior to this marvelous conclusion. Luckily, I found it quite easy to piece together most of what has transpired before Russell and Gemma’s story. I truly do look forward to reading the rest of this series as soon as time permits!

At the very start of this action, crazy love story, you’re pulled into Solitaire, pretty much the most frequented, and ultimate retreat for many of the characters, being that it provides them with the place to do what they all embrace in their BDSM lifestyles. Immediately, we are curious about Gemma, and Russell and how the two of them will get along. There is an immediate ZING in the air between them, and it’s nearly impossible to put the book down because the amount of curiosity built in this first chapter carries on throughout the entire novel. This love story is a bonus to the action plot that this group has to endure and resolve, which in itself, is mind-blowing. If you’re looking for an action-packed, edge of your seat read, with the most intriguing, descriptive sex scenes you could ever imagine, this book is for you! I have nothing but good things to say about the craftsmanship that went into creating this work of art, thank you, Ivy Nelson, for this new venture. Highly recommend!

Forever is book nine in the Diamond Doms series by Ivy Nelson. I am new to this author's work, so I am entering this series at the wrong end. BUT!!! In no way did that take anything away from this story. This story was sexy, very arousing, intriguing and just totally enthralling. I was very intrigued by the very short blurb. It drew me in instantly. I had to know about this couple and try to work my way around all that I missed from coming in for the last book. The characters were insatiable and very entertaining. I was drawn to the way the author portrayed each character. The interaction between them was magnetic and impossible to drag your attention away from. This was a one sitting read for me. I could not put it down. There is nothing better than a take charge man who is dominant but considerate. They are not afraid to be heavy handed but it is all with the care of their partner foremost in their minds. There was so much to this story that tickled my senses and appealed to my little smutty mind. It was so well and respectfully written, with suspense, mystery and lots of energetic activity. Hats off to Ivy Nelson. I done things backward by reading the last book first, but I am definitely going to be purchasing the entire series and diving in asap. A steamy hot and cleverly written story that will get the blood pumping and the heart racing. But do yourself a favour and start from book one to experience all that I am sure this series is. 5 stars.
