Amazing!
Everything you've been waiting for in this series is right here in this book. This book is serious and heartwarming at the same time and was definitely a pleasure to read.

Not to worry, this isn’t the last book of this series although it very well could be… except that we don’t know if Fiona and “Timmy” ever end up in more than just a work relationship and we don’t know if Mattie decides to be a single and loving it girl or if she finds her own mate. We also don’t know if Will ever finds someone (maybe Mattie?) or if he is resigned and happy with a life on his own and with Spike.
There’s so much that we have yet to see with Missy, Chas and family; however, this book 6 was a great closing to a very long series. I loved almost every minute of it (except book 16 in the previous series. Oh that last book had me angry!
Next and last in Missy and Chas’s tale is book 7 in the Calgon Chronicles “Vows and Villainy”.
There are also two other side books that are part of the Calgon Chronicles: Echos of Murder - Echo’s backstory
Chas by Choice - Chas’s story.
Don’t forget the original 32 book series where Missy Gladstone is first introduced: Frosted Love Cozy Mysteries
The next series that walks hand-in-hand and begins a new chapter and a new state for Missy and fam is the 15 book: INNcredibly Sweet
Missy and Chas decide to move on from their Inn by selling it to their friend Karla. That’s when another series begins which has 16 books: Cupcakes in Paradise
Finally, the last series of this long long adventure with the Beckett's and Family is "The Calgon Chronicles" which has 7 books and then 2 additional which are backstories of 2 characters (as mentioned above).
And I just noticed one book was released Way back in 2019 that included Missy going to New York. It’s book 1, but no other books came after in that “series”. It is from the series Calgon Capers Cozy Mysteries. Perhaps Prescott decided to change that to Calgon Chronicles instead.
If you’re like me, you’ll want to read every book written by this fun cast of characters and when you’re done, you’ll have read 73 books!!! I still have 4 to go which are Echos of Murder; Chas by Choice; Vows and Villainy; and Cookies and Crime (Calgon Capers Cozy Mysteries Book 1)

Oh. My. Goodness. Summer Prescott outdid herself this time which is pretty hard to do. I alternated between tears and prayers throughout this book. At times I was afraid to flip to the next page because I didn't want to rush the book and was afraid of what would come next. Like all of this authors work the story was well written and the mystery well plotted. The characters are like old friends that I love catching up with. The only negative (which really is only negative because I missed them is that, Echo, Kel, and the kids were missing.
Missy gets the news that every cops wife dreads, her beloved husband Chas has been shot. As he fights for his life Spenser travels to be with Missy and set up additional security while simultaneously continue his work as Chas' proxy on the board of Beckett Enterprises. As if that isn't enough Spenser must deal with possibly acquiring another business and keeping Chas' brother Reggie in line.
Missy gets the news that every cops wife dreads, her beloved husband Chas has been shot. As he fights for his life Spenser travels to be with Missy and set up additional security while simultaneously continue his work as Chas' proxy on the board of Beckett Enterprises. A remarkably excellent book!!!!!!
I have enjoyed this on going series so very much!!!! Every time i read one of these books, l feel like i am right there as a good friend going through what ever they are.
Missy, Chas, Echo, Kel, Spencer, Will and the children all feel like family.
Missy is a remarkable woman that takes no stuff from anyone when it comes to protecting her family and friends.
Spencer is a loyalist through and through. Will is also.
When Chas when down, the action people took to protect what is his had me go through so many emotions.
I couldn't put this book down if my life was depending on it.
I can't wait for the next book. Please don't let this be the end!!!!
You loyal fans of this series will not be disappointed at all.

Fantastic book
This book was amazing! I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time reading it! Was Spencer going to lose everything? Was Missy going to lose Chas? This was awesome!

Oh I love this This author and this series
There is a different look to the series, but some great characters. This one was so good. The last several didn’t have Spencer in them but this one had a lot bout Spencer and his background. Loved this book

WOW this was intense
Oh my goodness this one really kept me on the edge of my seat. So glad about the outcome. I had a pretty good idea who the shooter was but then was thrown for a loop that had be second guessing my choice. I ended up being right in the end.

I great cozy
I love Missy,Chas, Spencer,Izzy and all the characters in this wonderful series by Summer Prescott and have from the first book that I met them and you will too. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Can't keep Chas down
Chas gets shot and spencer's past cause issues with Izzy. Thankfully spencer solves all the issues and he has a happy ending.
