This is the final book of a trilogy that is part of the YA series from Dragonlance. The first two books of the trilogy must be read but one doesn't need to read all of the preceding YA books before this one. This continues the quest to restore Nearra and to stop Tylari.

I haven't been the biggest fan of this trilogy. My biggest complaint was that a character has regressed in character growth that we witnessed in the early books of the YA series. Thankfully that has changed and that character is back to someone I recognize. And with this change my enjoyment also changed. This final book was a nice ending to a lackluster trilogy. I liked the characters again and enjoyed the journey that these characters go on to achieve their goals. The addition of a character that had a cameo in the second book was pleasant and I enjoyed her arc. I do have one problem with this book and it is the reason I did not give this a higher rating. An arc's conclusion happened but was not explained how it was achieved. I guess readers are suppose to just accept it. All that was needed was a couple of paragraphs of exposition and my rating would have been higher.

This book was definitely the highlight of this trilogy. Things went back to normal and stopped spitting in the face of the previous books. Still, not the best trilogy and I would only read this if you are trying to read everything from this world.
