L'histoire de France en 150 dates

Rate this book

This book provides a concise overview of the history of France from 3000 BC to 2012 in 150 dates. It offers a convenient read for individuals keen on delving into the formation of France and its evolution over time.

Maurice Meuleau does a good job creating a chronological narrative connecting pivotal events throughout history. However, the book could benefit from supplementary context or background information on key figures and events to enhance comprehension. Additionally, the author's compressed review of the modern era of French history excludes key events, leaving the readers with a somewhat incomplete understanding of this period and a want to learn more.
