Intensely rivoting
I'm in love with this series! Brad is such a great character, damaged, intelligent, kind, deadly, funny. Its easy to get lost in the story.

Great read, finished it in one day. The legal aspect of this book wasn’t overly thrilling; but it was compelling. The real twist came after the verdict. Looking forward to reading the next in the Brad Madison story.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one didn't resonate with me. Madison is compelled to defend the son of a fellow Marine veteran who is accused of two murders. Some potentially interesting subject matters like street gangs, social media, religious zealots & the war in Afghanistan are broached superficially with no new insight. The courtroom "drama" was dull & repetitive. And the last quarter of the book seemed like a bad Liam Neeson movie. There were also too many typos & grammatical errors to overlook. Very little interest in any future installments.

Just found a new author!
Excellent read. Brad Madison is an interesting character and I like how he tries to interact in his daughters life even when he screws up. Don’t want to give away the plot just go read the series. You’ll be glad you did.

Really good read....
Once again, Mr. Miller weaves a fine story with Brad Madison as the protagonist. I thoroughly enjoy the writing style, plot twists and turns, and character development. Which brings me to the reason why I am only giving 4 stars. I found it sickening that Mr. Miller described Bella as a 7 y/o Instagram star. It is not believable at all that a 7 y/o (first or second grader, mind you) would talk and act as she does, let alone have the language and spelling skills she exhibits. Come on, Mr. Miller, kids this age are not writing paragraphs on Instagram. At least, not without help they aren't. And please, please, please do not add to the already huge problem we have in this country of sexualizing young children. You are part of the problem, not part of the solution when you write about Bella as if she is a "fashionista" heroine of this story. You truly stretch your credibility there, needlessly. Teenagers fawning over a 7 y/o? Nope. Not believable. Grown men taking selfies with her? Ewww. That is creeping, disgusting, and wrong. I almost chucked the book at that point. Now Bella doing all of this as a teenager, yep, that would be believable. Still, creepy to have grown men "following" her and taking selfies with her. Plus, as other reviewers have mentioned, 7 y/o's are not allowed to have an Instagram account. The second point is that the gender of a fetus cannot be determined in the womb at 8 weeks. Sorry, look it up. Not even a blood test will tell you at that gestational age, unless, of course, the person has gotten pregnant by IVF, which Bianca did not. Other than those issues, this is a good read, and I do recommend it.

another great book, highly recommended
This book deals with Brad past demons. He’s a little on the unstable edge. But he still tries to push through and live life accordingly. He’s not a bad person but he dealing with a lot. I think Claire is a little unfair towards him. She makes his life difficult. I did agree with Brad about his 7 yrs old Bella internet connection. Claire was oblivious. I appreciate Brad for his service, hard-work and loyalty. Brad is a compassionate and dedicated person. He has a great heart. We as humans meet and accept all kinds of people in our lives. We try to see the best in everyone. There are people who play on other’s emotions like Francine did Demarcus. You never know why people enter your life. It could be for the good or for bad intentions. Like always I love the courtroom scene, investigation, cross examination and closing. In this book Brad met his match with Jessica Pope, the prosecutor.

Attorney Brad Madison enters the world of Internet blogs and Internet stars after the delinquent son of a deceased old Army buddy is accused of murder. The young man does little to help his own cause while Madison reluctantly tries to build a defense against strong evidence of his client’s guilt. Our lead character as well does even less to endear himself to the reader. While Madison’s investigator Jack is interesting, attorney Brad himself offers little to be praised. While I enjoyed this author’s series lead, I simply don’t like this guy.
That said, I did enjoy the court room section and the general story line. While the writing is plain at best, I was engaged enough for the book to hold my attention. This is a simple read, but not one I’d strongly recommend.

BE REAL
I gave up on this immediately after he left his frightened, shocked seven-year-old daughter, unattended, to single-handedly chase after a crazed gunman. He is driven by prior mass shootings that have taken place elsewhere and his conscience will not allow him to ignore this deranged gunman. Keep in mind he is a lawyer, not a cop, and unarmed to boot. Give me a break. This is a story that should not be taken seriously if at all.

An enjoyable legal thriller in the Brad Madison series. Several YouTube vloggers have been murdered, and the most likely suspect is 17-year-old, former gang member Demarco Torrell, who is standing over one of the bodies when the police arrive. Coincidentally, Demarco is the son of a former marine friend of Brad's who died in the service of his country. The evidence against Demarco is rock solid, so poor Brad is forced to go all out to try to prove the young man's innocence. A real page turner.

ANOTHER FUN READ & TIMELY BACKDROP
This was my second JJ Miller thriller and I love his combination of colorful and compelling characters, dramatic courtroom events and important background themes, this time illuminating the hazardous realities of social media influencing and (in his first book), the competitive Hollywood scene, casting couch culture and its related abuses. Great stuff, I can’t wait to read his next book!

Good Read
Really enjoyed the book. Fast paced and quick read. I like the dynamics between Brad and his ex because I think they are true to form on a lot of levels. I liked the courtroom scenes as well and hope to see more of them in future books. I certainly did not have a clue who it was, kept me guessing yo to the end.

Slow to Whoa!
I didn't think I was going to like this book because of the opening story line about a divorced couple and the typical conflict between them. The dialogue for the 7 yr old daughter was for an older child. I was slow to warm to you but glad I continued. It had a kick ass ending.

Divine Justice by J.J. Miller
This was the second book (after Force of Justice) of this author that I read. Excellent, well -written story that brings out not only Brad’s ‘lawyer’ talents but superb investigative work along with Jake and Charlie (the hacker) in the team. The story’s ending is quite surprising. I am eager to read the next book of JJ Miller.

Twice Served
The first in this series had a jaw dropping ending which really got my attention. This one was very enjoyable as well. Fun interesting characters and wonderful plots as well. What I enjoy most is how justice is served for his client but other instances of justice are served as well. American story indeed.

Lots of turns!!
Its a good story. Lots of twists and turns. Impossible to see what's coming around the corner. A lot of story but not a lot of minutiae for filler sake. You get to know Madison a little more which gives depth to the story its likely ill read the next one in the series.

Another new author to me, thanks to trawling through Audible for legal thrillers, which seems to be my favourite kind of read at the moment. This author has a few series and I cannot wait to delve in deeper. The writing was great, the story well thought out and executed. Definitely a page turner, very enjoyable read.

Not nearly as good as the first book. I didn’t like the hook nor did I like this cast of characters. The protagonist has a compelling story line but his wife is a bitch , his young daughter is selfish and self centered.
Jack the private investigator is the only redeeming character in this novel.

I just say I'm learning a lot about court procedures. The main character, Brad, is certainly flawed, but that just makes him more relatable.

Rather a stilted tale, with mixes of action and logic for both the legal and thriller portions of the story. Difficult to believe he would be a successful defender with his flip approach to most of the details for and against his clients.

Another great read!

I meant to give it 5 stars. (like all of his books)I know it is a cliche, but this was a book you did not want to stop reading. I am a fan of court room dramas and believe that Miller is one of the better writers. This

It was soooo far fetched it wasn’t even fun to read, it started at a nice pace and then it took so many turns and then when they can track phones then can’t then can because writer error it was just meh
