"Doesn’t it seem strange that whoever is doing this is always one step ahead of us?"

Curiouser and curiouser as the 4th installment begins to fill in the blanks left behind with the other books, but it's wine bottles not bread crumbs that lead the twins on a labyrinthine trail to find the answers. Will Danielle and Nicole have to pose as each other much longer? Who killed Grandmother Judy? Is there a mole in the vineyard? And...what's up with Mother Janice? Highly Recommended 5/5

A Mystery at Summer Lodge
A Coastal Vineyard Series Book 4
Amy Rafferty

Will the friends and family be able to find where Laurie and Cam were held captive? Will they figure out why they were held and by whom? What is behind all the calamities that have befallen the Cartwrights, not just in the last few weeks, but over the years? Someone must be on the inside keeping their assailants one step ahead, but who?
In the midst of chaos and stress watch as new relationships are formed and old one are healed. Watch as Nicole and Danielle move closer to the women they were meant to be.
Read on as the series’ end approaches. Be ready for surprises and twists and turns. The suspense builds, and the story expands. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I'm still intrigued but am getting a little disillusioned. We're getting more questions than answers as people keep getting killed with no resolutions. There are secret tunnels etc. and more efforts to frame members of the family for crimes. It's confusing and now I need answers! Hopefully there will be some forthcoming in the next book.

The girls great grandmother Judy is found dead. Laurie, Cam, Liam, Linda, Ben, Courtney and Kendra are locked in the attic. Dani and Adam are kidnapped. Then Nicole and Zach head back to the jungle. This is just a little of what is packed in this book. There are still more secrets to uncover. Love this series, can’t wait for the next book and what awaits there.

I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Okay, breathe, there is just so much conflict that an author can include without confusing the reader. Ms. Rafferty's habit of designing convoluted plots is once more a part of this series and I hope there will be satisfaction for the reader at the end.
The cast of characters are dead (Judy), locked in the attic (Laurie, Cam, Liam, Linda, Ben, Courtney, and Kendra), kidnapped (Dani and Adam) or in the jungle (Nicole and Zach).
So yeah, we await the next installment.

Book 4 continues with more mysteries. The twin's great grandmother Judy is found dead and it was determined she was poisoned. Danielle and Adam were kidnapped. Hidden tunnels are discovred and investigated. A missing bottle of wine from long ago is discovered, Laurie and Cam are becoming more open about their relationship and Nicole and Zach return to the Amazon jungle. Starting book 5 to see what happens next.

I received an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Another fabulous book from Amy Rafferty!!!! I love the superb way this author writes and her plots and settings are to die for. This series will be another that I hate to see end!

You will feel like you have been pulled right into the location and you know the characters as friends you'd do anything to help. This book has everything you'd look for in a great mystery. :-)

Book 4 was another great book full of mystery, surprises, and discovering who died from the previous book. I was so surprised which I liked. I really liked that the book ended with a mystery that will be answered hopefully in the next book. I also enjoyed picturing the cute puppies, Bella and Rebel. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

This series takes me on a thrill ride with each book. As the sisters learn more and more secrets about their family, they are drawn closer and closer. The cliffhangers have my mouth hanging open until the next book. I would highly recommend this series. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.

Just finished book 4 of A Mystery at Summer Lodge. Darn, if each book doesn't get better and more exciting. Adam and Danielle are handcuffed together in a cellar and make a discovery. Nicole and Zach head back to the Amazon. Laurie has secrets she still hasn't revealed. I guess it is onto book five.

Questions are answered, but still, there are plenty to go. Lots of drama, action, kidnapping, people missing, people injured and of course corpses.
A great series, likeable characters, sweet furries, and loads of mystery.

Watch out for Grandma Judy! She is so co controlling and manipulative Should your Grandmother be the one who spoils you or sabotages your life? But it’s a wild ride thru out the entire story. Entertaining but also some real support from friends

The fourth book in the series does not disappoint. Kidnapping and death dominate. Each book is better than the last with a new cliffhanger at the end. I love the characters and can't wait to see what happens next. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
