This book is a timely conversation about the failure of major systems such as medical, educational, government, religion, economy, etc. in the USA. The book is a great read for a spiritual journey as readers appreciate the author’s revelations of the bittersweet truth behind what’s happening in America.
The author says God “executed judgment" on Egypt (Exod 12:12) for enslaving Israel and throwing their babies in the river, but the US has enslaved most people in alcohol, tobacco and even Rx drugs are a form of bondage, and worse than Egypt, we have thrown 62 million babies in the trash for inconvenient pregnancies.
In 1Thessalonians 5:1-3, the phrases for "day of the Lord" (end-times) all fit Egypt which was "the night of the Lord" Exodus 12:42, but day of the Lord is the natural extension of night and things are getting dark in the US as so much bad is happening.
Knowing God’s Timing is a well-reasoned chapter supported a time of judgment for 2023.
‘’The Bible says God won’t do anything without revealing it, Amos 3:7. This includes when the end time day of the Lord begins with sudden destruction /earthquake 1Thess 5:1 3.
Some preachers think this is when Christ comes in the sky, but the book of Joel has more references to the day of the Lord than any other book in the Bible but there’s no 2nd coming.”
Dr. Ruhling’s writing style is easy to follow and readers are not likely to get bored in the religious discussion and the videos included throughout strongly support the points.
What I appreciated in reading was faith that offers us an inner peace. This is a great book for anyone interested in taking a break from the rat race to live more mindfully of what God may be doing. Even in trouble, He is working for the good of those who seek His ways.
