I like it when the author gives us these little sidelines. I had not really liked Arius prior to reading this novella. I feel that this is a must read as a book 1.5 in order to understand the series better. It's a quick read so go for it.

Another good read from J.A. Curtis! This is a companion novella to the Lies of the Haven series. We get to learn more about Arius and the time before the series began. Since it's a short story, if I say much more I'll give too much away. If you read and enjoyed Lies of the Haven, you need to read this!
