ch 58~
this was really good. i couldnt predict the plot at all. for the first time in a while i got second lead syndrome again (eden we love you)
angelica as a protagonist is so flawed yet so easy to understand
im begging with all my heart that eden isnt the second ml, but it looks like that will be the case. also though i do have second lead syndrome, emperor ranielo is so INTERESTING. also sylvia dealing some real trauma on him is actually chef's kiss
"the agent of actilla will always be obsessed with the saintess of tunia, no matter what. this is providence. this is fate." good god. and the twist being that seraphina ISNT the saintess anymore? also that she knew that eden's soul has been destroyed? this is genuinely insane

⭐️3.3⭐️ This rating is for the manhwa version.
I read the mahwa version titled “My Evil Husband Is Obsessed With the Wrong Person” or “Dear Villainous Husband, the One to be Obsessed With is Over There”.
Years ago, I read this manhwa until chapter 20 when it was first established. I got ending spoiler that the Heroine would kill the Hero and the Hero would be like a zombie (life without soul and expression). That’s why I stopped reading the manhwa and marinating it. On Jan, 2026 the manhwa finally ends with 75 chapters but I’m hesitant to read because I still remember the spoiler.
This afternoon, I decided to read this manhwa. The story was thrilling and I really wonder how the artist would create the story line and the ending. Getting near the ending (chapter 75), I was really worried because the story was still not resolved, yet the chapter was getting less. And boom!!! When I read “The End” on the last scene of chapter 75, I knew this manhwa got axed. Oh nooo!! It has many potential. 🥲 The story provided cliffhanger ending and I’m still really annoyed now!!!
Noooo!!! Somehow, I prefer the novel ending where the Heroine goes back to Korea and the Hero dies. Even though the manhwa version is quite acceptable for the ending but it makes the story unresolved. It’s unclear and needs more season.
Hah!!! Seriously, I never imagined the artist would create the ending for this manhwa like this. 😭😭 Honestly, I want a redemption for the Hero which he could be a normal yandere (?) and the slaughter God inside him would be defeated and get out of him. 😭😭 At least, the hero and heroine could start new beginning as being friend or acquaintance. I also felt bad for the heroine because she was locked up and became insane of hero’s affection in this manhwa version. Hah!!

This had the potential to be so good. Seriously probably one of my favorites, and then we got that ending.
I’m not even angry because I should have anticipated it with how the ML was an absolute lunatic (ngl his crazy was kind of hot lmao), but im upset nonetheless. This is the level of delusion and obsession that I want to see in my ML of a story of this nature. It would have been even better if the FL was just as crazy.
This had the potential to be so good. Seriously probably one of my favorites, and then we got that ending.
