This book is like a crash course in getting started in freelance science writing. Even though it focuses on science writing from a scientist's persepctive, I found merit in the guidance and resources it lays out for freelance writing in general. The author is very generous with tips, does not hold back on information & signposts the reader to more resources.

Very resourceful

I was apprehensive of freelancing as a science writer. But this book helped me a great deal and confidence in considering freelancing as a career option. It is concise, clear and covers all points regarding freelancing from skills needed to how to navigate to some resources to look up.
