I could not put this down it was sooooo good! The storyline just keeps getting better and better and the characters are amazing and feel like family. Full of action, adventure and trouble once again we join Paris on her journey to beat the deathly shadows that is after her. We do get some answers but we also get more questions so I am eager to read the next book.
It's went by so fast I didn't notice that it was that time in the series where we have an ARC ending and start another chapter so they say. But it went very well as we finally see the confrontation that started the entire Paris story and why she was taken away from her parents and family. Particularly liked the mini plot with her fairy godmother role and its conclusion allowing her to realise she can do the role thats her destiny. Heres to the next problem that needs solved and written for us.
This is a frustrating series and should be. Seeing these characters missing Liv is heartbreaking. There were many tearing up moments hearing everyone tell Paris about her mom. Absolutely beautiful
Well, Ms. Noffke has done it again. Another great story about Paris Beaufont as she attends The Fairy Godmother College. How can one young girl attract so much trouble? Faraday is no help either. That talking squirrel is nothing but trouble. As Paris tries to help him, she gets in deeper and deeper. Not to mention the Howling Wind that is chasing her. Paris learns a little more about her family everyday. Will she ever be able to save them? This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and involves almost all of the characters we have come to love in these Beaufont Family books. I look forward to the next book.
What an awesome story. I really did not expect this story so early in the series but it showed what Paris is made of. I believe Paris really surprised herself in her fight with the Deadly Shadows. King Rudolf showed he can be a hero when needed. Live and Stefan are finally back. ANF now Fairy Godmother School can really get started.
I have now totally caught up with all of Sarah's books, from Ren to the all of the Beaufont family, including L.A. Chicks. They have all, in there own way, been a huge part of her legacy. Her books lift me in ways that are hard to explain. If you have not read her books I suggest you start. So worth the time. Please join me and so many others in some of the best characters written. Peace!
I can’t get enough of Paris, Liv or Sophia!!! These books need to continue & continue... it sucks that I have to wait a month to continue reading about Paris... 😤😤 hopefully 🙏🏻 and eventually I hope to read about Clark’s story and him falling in love 🥰. .
Great book, great series. Loved it so far and am looking forward to reading the next one. I’ve followed these characters since Liv’s series and each one just keeps getting better.
As she turns the Fairy Godmother world on its head, she deals with all that life throws at her, kicks it's butt and sets it on the naughty step! Fighting her nemesis to try and rescue the parents she never knew, all with the aid of her friends and a trusted talking squirrel!
Paris and her friends have a few things to fix. She has to get two people to fall in love, defeat an evil entity and save her parents. There is lots of action and fighting in this book and it was so good I could not put it down. I am really looking forward to the next book to see what problems Paris and her friends will need to take care of.
This one had all the feels and brings out emotions. Plenty of action and trouble for Paris to sort out. At the Fairy Godmother College there is the Grayson/Amelia 'falling in love' issue that Paris has an unconventional solution for. And then out there in the big bad world there is the Deathly Shadow that is after Paris - her life is on the line. Having read all of Sarah's previous books I loved bringing in a character from a prevoius series unrelated to the Beaufonts, plus the inclusion of characters from previous Beaufont series. Faraday continues to be a fun side-kick, but Paris has would love to find out his secrets. I loved the family interactions. Can't wait to see where the next book goes.
The first chapter, the first sentence, truly sets the tone for the book. The plot unfolds as graciously as a rose blooms.
Sarah has mastered the art of writing. The character interactions reflect the human condition, showing us our foibles and less noble traits right alongside strength of character and the best of human traits.
And don’t forget the sarcastic humour! Love this! Another wonderful story, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of Paris and friends.
Easy flowing read, keeps you interested from beginning to end. Great to have all the original characters back, plus a new mystery that is Faraday. Makes me want to keep on reading to find out his secrets too .
One thing I noticed about Sarah Noffke books is that you can always guarantee that some characters will always show up, regardless of which universe the book is. Shall we call it Noffke Constant that become the foundation of universe?
Thank You SO much for this FABULOUS escape from our DREADFUL existence during this Pandemic! !After a day of work,I TRULY appreciate this excitingly brilliant trip into Paris' World. Please keep her life going.
It's getting hard to offer insight into the experience of reading this book without repeating myself. This is shaping up to be every bit as entertaining as the liv Beaufort series. Thank you so much for another retreat into your fantasy world.
Paris's character is developing nicely. She now knows who she is and what she needs to do to bring her family back together again. But the Deathly Shadow is stalking her, wanting her body so he can bring destruction to the world. Can she do this?
As well as trying to save her parents, the love meter is still dropping and Paris and the Fairy Godmothers have to work together to bring Grayson and Amelia together. Paris has some ideas but they are unconventional - will they throw out the rule book and go by Paris's suggestions?
Some of our favourite characters make an appearance in this book. There's plenty of laughs, and tears (needed tissues again lol)
Loved this book, I devoured it in a few short hours. And I certainly can't wait until the next book. In the meantime, I think I will have to read it again, along with the first 2 books.
I choose my rating because it deserves a five (5) Star rating, what a wonderful series about Paris so far. An I'm excited to find out who this Faraday is. I would recommend this Book to anyone who ask for a good read. What I liked about the book is that it continues with Liv an hubby being in another dimension an Paris is the one who can save them.. but I disliked how uninteresting the fights are in this storyline. I understand not everyone can be as amazing as liv or Sophia though. But I do hope the rest of the story is a little more exciting an we hear more about all the older characters from Liv an Sophia's series. Love to have more on lunis as well as all the other dragons an the men in the castle as well as more on Sophia's new home.. an I'd love to hear more about Plato an the brownies as well as what's happening with the house of seven, now 14 I believe.. oh lordy who am I kidding just give me MORE on Everything an Everyone...
Half way through this book, my Kindle died on me! Lol
I've been using it for many hours a day ever since since last Christmas, and so I think that I've just simply worn it out!
Anyway, it was a few days that I had without my Kindle, and I've only just been able to finish off this book!
It was a great story, with lots of adventure, as is usual for the Tiny Ninja, and her cohort, Michael, and both Paris and Faraday excelled themselves in their various adventures.
It was a wonderful ending to this story, and I'm really looking forwards to reading the rest of Paris and Faraday's further adventures because, unsurprisingly, they are both totally, and epically, much loved characters to me already!
So, as I had bought the complete series all together, I decided to write a review for each book as I finish it, as I believe that each book deserves this, hence the this review!
So, now it's on to book four of this series;, called: The Shatterproof Magician, to continue Paris' story, so I'll see you on the flip side, with my thoughts on this next continued story!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is a captivating story that has some great discoveries and a terrific conclusion. Paris has a lot to cope with in this book. She not only has to get the Fairy Godmothers to implement her plan to bring Amelia and Grayson together, but also figure out how to defeat the Deadly Shadow that is hunting her and open a vortex to bring her parents back. Faraday remains a fun sidekick. His curiosity causes trouble once again but it also allows for secrets to be revealed. I look forward to when the truth about Faraday is finally uncovered. Paris has grown into an awesome character, she is the perfect mix of strength, heart, ingenuity and vulnerability. This story has lots of emotion, thrills, humour, adventure and danger. I especially loved seeing the various characters from the authors other series’, it felt like I was visiting with old friends. I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring.
Paris now knows who she is and why she was hidden. Now, everyone has to get together and plan how to destroy the Deathly Shadow and bring Liv and Stefan back from the alternate dimension.
I love the quote the Plato gave: ‘Know that anyone who tells you to trust them can’s be trusted. Those who can, earn it, not ask for it.” That is soo true. I hate in in books when the big hunky guy tells the girl: “Trust me” before he does something she wouldn’t normally do.
Fave scenes: Paris’s discussion with Becky, the cooking apron, feeding the longhorns, meeting Ren and Amelia & Grayson’s dinner.
Paris is continuing to explore ways to recover her parents from the separate dimension where they have been captured. Her friend, the talking squrrel, Hawthorn, is searching Fairy Godmother College for answers to reasons various portions of the campus are off limits.
Okay, so believe. A simple word really. So much power in one word. Magic, true magic is believing. When you believe in yourself imagination is your limit. Paris needs to believe. In her school, in her friends, in her family and most importantly she needs to believe in herself.
I do so adore our lovely mischievous Fariday and really wish I had one of my very own. CAN'T wait until he and Lunis get together in a book these two would be a total riot but I suspect I will get a bit of pun-lash due to thier oh soo puny nature. Really wonder what his secrets are and if I have guessed correctly.
