Phenomenal Fate #3

Today Tomorrow and Always

Rate this book
Tucker isn’t interested in quests, thank you very much. Though the cigar-smoking, Uber-driving vampire has long been an official member of the undead club, his very human heart still lurks inside of him—and no one has ever spoken to it more clearly than Mary…the fairy he’ll be driving to her wedding. Where she’ll be marrying someone else.

Quests, right?

Mary’s blindness and window-shattering scream have forced her into seclusion since childhood. A seeming burden to her splintered family, she jumps at the chance to reunite them. All she has to do is marry an evil vampire, facilitate an unholy alliance and potentially start an underworld war. Easy, right? No, but it was doable. At least until Tucker.

The pair of misfits embark on a road trip that will have them questioning the past, present and future. Their building passion and trust in one another is undisputable, however. And as the battle looms, they’ll have to decide just what they’re willing to sacrifice for a lifetime together.

"Together. Today, tomorrow and always."
I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand times: all that matters when I read a book is how I feel during and after. How it makes me feel. And Tessa Bailey gave me all the feels with this one. I have been waiting for Tucker's story, and my heart is full now.

"'I’d fight the world if you asked me to.'"
This is the third and last book of the Phenomenal Fate series. Two things: one, it can be read as a standalone, but I feel I had a lot more insight by having read the two other books. Two, don't dismiss it simply for the fact that it has vampires, fae folk and slayers. It also has humans. And for what's supposed to be paranormal romance, this is a very human emotion-filled book.

"'You are the first and last. The only one I’ll ever want or need or lust for. You’re mine, Mary. No matter what, you are mine.'"
I love the two main characters, Tucker and Mary. You get to see how Tucker was turned into a vampire. You see how incomplete he feels. I mean, he has his friends, but he feels like the fifth wheel sometimes. The guy who's always friend-zoned. And partly he feels that's because of how he looks. You see, Tucker's not Alexander Skarsgard's Eric's vampire type. He's not tall, blonde and muscled. He was an ordinary guy, on the heavy side, when he was turned, and he remained like that.
And that's always held him back, both in human life, and as an immortal. And he's settled for it.

"(...)with his home sitting not a hundred yards away, Mary felt more like home than anything or anywhere. She was his home. A home that wanted him back, by some miracle."
Mary is part of the fae folk, and she's blind. She doesn't know what the world looks like, or what colors look like, but she's developed an intuition about people. She doesn't see what's visible, but she sees inside people (and isn't that more important, anyway?). Due to an agreement with her mother, she's supposed to be married off to a guy she never met, and she's sort of OK with it because she's been kept from the world by her mother. She doesn't know what's out there. So, why not?

Except then she and Tucker meet - and indeed, life's just what happens while one's busy making plans.

"'I’m your first and you’re mine, too,” she breathed. “Focus on the wonder and rightness and weight of that, Tucker. There isn’t room for anything else.'"
I love the two of them together. I love all the tension in the air (literally, as they're both supernatural beings). I love the small touches, the tiny moments, the big moments, and how much they care for each other. Tucker's protectiveness of her. Mary's protectiveness of him. And how seamlessly they fall in love, even though they try not to, even though they're fighting against it.
Their chemistry is incredible, in a very Tessa Bailey way. Yep, you know what I mean.

"'More than anything. More than anything, I want the good and bad with you.'"
Both characters perceive themselves as being flawed, Tucker for his weight, Mary for being blind. And what I feel is that this book shows you not only who cares?, but also - embrace it. Tucker chooses her because, not despite, the fact that she's blind. And Mary chooses him because he's him, with everything that makes him who he is.

"'I love how dense you are here,” she whispered. “How substantial you are all over. It matches the man inside and it anchors me. The world isn’t empty when you’re filling it up.'"
There's a lot more to a person that their physical looks or their "imperfections". Because Tucker is all heart and self-sacrifice, and Mary's all courage and strength, and they're both fighters.

And they're perfect the way they are.
But now that they're together, they're also perfectly whole.

The ending to the beginning of a strong and valuable relationship between Tucker and Mary, two of my ultimately favorite couple in this finale of a series...

From book one, I just knew that Tucker would be my favorite and I called it! my big teddy bear of a vampire truly does know how to still the page with his lustful and romantic ways. Not only that but his protective instincts, when they kick in after meeting Mary, the obsession over him is what captures you in the best of way. As an avid lover of not only romance novels, but Tessa's writing I can simply say she has out done herself with this paranormal series. A sub-genre that I am not too keen of but accepted for sure and truly adored.

Mary is a force to be reckoned with as well. A fairy looking to be accepted for the way she is by not only her mother but her estranged father who will only be coming back to Mary and her mother after having the correct order of things for the de-throwned vampire King, Hadrian who has been mentioned in book one after Jonas took over his thrown and changed the regal laws between vampires and humans. As Mary takes action of having Tucker drive her to her promised one, she realizes that her attraction and connection towards Tucker is one of pure mystery. One in which she wishes to not only have more time with him, but to explore the possibilities outside the inner walls she is trapped in when it comes down to doing the "right thing" for her reconciliation of her family.

To Tucker however, the pure mystic connection between him and Mary is one of pure obsession. But he also knows that he cannot have her as she is promised to some else. The forbidden fairy is looking to strive and gain an important part of herself in which she thinks will give her the acceptance she believes she needs to be with her father once again. To Tucker, he wants nothing more than to have her happy and have the life she deserves;
"You're not mine to look at. or touch. And it's reminding me of that, too..."

Once Tucker realizes that what would hurt him the most, after meeting his one true mate that is Mary, and what would kill him is having to let her go so she can pursue her happiness. To him, his death is valuable to the comparison of her having that one true gift back. With that being said, I am so beyond glad that Tucker's story is finally here for everyone else to enjoy. This story will be one to never forget, alongside the series. I cannot wait to see what else Tessa has up her sleeve. And hopefully it's more of the paranormal sub-genre.

Ticked off a few of the seven deadly sins reading this one with gluttony, greed, lust and sloth all being in play over the past 48 hours along with sleep deprivation and the dreaded book hangover. My heart is full. At times heart-wrenching and poignant but remaining true to Tessa Bailey’s steamy style, Tucker and Mary were beautiful characters, perfectly imperfect inside and out. Hands down my favourite she’s written.

ummmm. well then. this was. . . decidedly not it. like jeez, i get that their fated mates, but come on, the insta-love does not need to be that strong. seriously, he catches her from falling and BOOM he's in love. i just - *sighs* just because he's a virginal vampire doesn't mean they can't somewhat organically develop feelings.

let's see what else -
✖ Tucker was wayyyy to much like Andrew Prince from the Beach Kingdom series, in my honest opinion.

this was his whole vibe -

❝I’m your full service man, Mary. I’ll drive you, protect you, serve your body. I’ll do it as long as I’m allowed and be thankful.❞

so if you're feeling this vibe then great, but if not you probably won't like Tucker.

✖ the insta-love was strong in this house. ✖

seriously Tucker was catching feels for Mary the literal second he laid eyes on her. and i know i know this is a fated mates story. but you know what? i don't care. i've read plenty of fated mates stories where the insta-love feels organic and earned. here? not so much.

the below conversation was had at TWO FREAKING PERCENT, like, really -

“Tucker, why do you call me kid?”
He started to chuckle, but cut himself off. Didn’t speak for several beats. “I call you kid to remind myself to stop noticing how pretty you are,” he said quietly. “That’s not for me to notice, Mary. You’re not mine to look at. Or touch. And it’s reminding me of that, too.”

✖ overall, i just. . . didn't care about what was going to happen. ✖

yeahhhh, soooo, the plot was just not interesting to me. also, TBH, everything that's probably gonna go down at the end could've been avoided if Mary wasn't being dumb. but mostly i just didn't care. and ultimately if i don't care why should i keep reading?

honestly, this entire series has been one huge let-down for me. i think it's time for me to admit that Tessa Bailey is a very hit-or-miss author for me. i loved and i mean loved her Girl series (except for book 2.5). therefore, i think every other book of hers that i've picked up is riding off the goodwill i have for that series.

despite all that, i do - tentatively - recommend this series. book two was by far the best of the bunch, but book one wasn't that bad. all in all, i'm sad this book didn't work for me, but i'll still pick up any of TESSA BAILEY's books. she's one of those authors who, when she gets it right, knocks it out of the damn park.

~✨ ᴀ ǫᴜɪᴄᴋ ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ✨~

so, i ended up finishing TODAY TOMORROW AND ALWAYS. yayyyyyy. i was in a parking lot waiting for an hour so i figured why not. anywho, what did i think? ehhhhhhhh. my thoughts // reasons for originally DNF'ing TODAY TOMORROW AND ALWAYS still stand. if anything i can confirm that not only did i not like Tucker's vibe, but i can also confidently say he is TSTL. i just - *shakes head* no words. truly, no words.

ultimately, i think after having read the ending i'll give it 2 stars. one star is for Roksana. she was my favorite part of this series and her presence singlehandedly made the ending so much better. the second star is for the admittedly cute epilogue. what can i say i'm a sap for epilogues that wrap up things so sweetly.

in conclusion, this series as i stated above was an all around bust. i think i came in expecting the caliber of TESSA BAILEY'S GIRL series + sexy vampires. instead i was served some pretty lame imitation of vampires. i mean come on these guys can't even nut if they're not with their true mate. that's just. . . sad. i'll take sparkles over sexually constipated vamps any day, thank you very much. additionally, the insta-love//lust was taken to the EXTREME. i've read many a fated mate story in my day, but wow. *sighs deeply* idk, i'm just sad. i really wanted to love this series. i guess now i can stare at the series on my kindle and simply wonder what could have been.

How did Bailey manage to give us a sweet, big-hearted, sarcastic and smoking hot plus-size bear of a man vampire?

Because she's magic. Clearly.

I was bored most of it, but there were some positives such as Tucker not really being good with women AND being a virgin. I'm so sick of hero's being shown and described as awkward and antisocial or not being comfortable or whatever around women just for them to end up STILL being more experienced than the heroine, so this was a nice change for sure. Both were each others firsts in everything which I LOVED. And I'm so glad they ended up getting the life they wanted, the epilogue was super cute.

I think the thing that's interesting about this book is that I found myself thinking that the plot itself made almost no sense -- the war between the different factions, etc. But anytime we'd get Tucker and Mary on page together, talking about how they feel, or digging into family dynamics, then I was all in. It just goes to show that Tessa Bailey's character development and chemistry will always work for me at some level, even if it doesn't on a plot level.

I spent a lot of time thinking about magical cures for blindness. Does it make it okay that the blindness was a curse in the first place? Felt kind of icky.

This one was sweet and sexy and ticked a lot of boxes for me. But those same boxes were double edged because they also ticked some triggers for me. However, the rushed ending of the book and the ending to the series it seems to be (??yes?? no??) made no sense to me and ruined the potential for a quality read.

Tucker is a Vampire and not your typical slim and pasty white, sparkly vamp. No he was turned in his mid twenties and as a stocky built, drag racer from the 50's or 60's that he is at that time, he somehow remains- although the time setting is never made clear. The vamps who turned him thought it was funny to keep him perpetually chubby and so his bad self image from that time stayed with him until present day.

Mary, known as Mary the Mad, is fairy and- She's blind. Yet that fact doesn't stop her from recognizing what a good being Tucker is immediately. However her fate in life is to do her duty and be married to a bad, bad man in order to reunite the fairies of this world with the fairies who left for some mysterious reason that was never quite explained also, to their home world/dimension years ago.

Upon meeting and agreeing to take Mary to her intended as a prearranged agreement to close a deal, he almost immediately recognizes the sweet and ethereal beauty as his mate.

The problem is the deal will also give Mary back her sight and how can he deny his mate the very thing that will make her happiest of all?

Okay so I like the hero a lot. he's a virgin, thicc, kind and self-effacing, so different from you typical romance novel monster hero. This ticks lots of boxes for me. But the fact he's a virgin vamp basically because he's what society calls fat? Triggered.

Mary is also a great heroine. kind and perceptive and misunderstood- and powerful. Loved her too. But the fact she had to be blind to see past his exterior to love him? TRIGGERED.

This combined with the super rushed ending and vanquishing of bad guy PLUS the sudden revelation at the end of other parts of Tucker's backstory, and so so many things that were never explained, really just made me shake my head at the waste. Just like Game of Thrones season 8, what could have been so epic ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth for the entire series and for future books by this author because of the frankly lazy and rushed ending.

Still their love story and honest yearning for each other made it passable. I just wish I had gotten the book as a free read. (Ok now Im triggered again!)

This was a great story to wrap up the Phenomenal Fate series. Tucker is a vampire that has just been existing for years. His human life was just as stale as his afterlife. When he takes on the task of delivering a blind fairy to her intended husband, he is not prepared for the feelings that she brings out in him. Mary has led an extremely sheltered life. Her mother makes a deal to marry her off to secure a place in upcoming battle. Mary and Tucker set out on their road trip that turns out to be more than either expected. Mary must decide what she wants out life and go after it. I liked watching their relationship grow from friendship to love. This was a truly romantic story.

4 stars!

This is a fantastic finish for the Phenomenal Fate series – a fun, sweet, sexy and exciting romance with great paranormal elements. I loved it!

Tucker is the third of a trio of vampire friends that have had their stories told in this series. He is the jokester of the group – rarely serious, and a total scene stealer in the previous books – and in the last book he got a glimpse of a woman that pretty much flipped his world upside down.

Mary is a fairy who has been kept secluded by her mother for pretty much her entire life. She is blind and somewhat sheltered, and is being traded into marriage with an evil vampire in the hopes that her marriage will reunite her family and her people, though it comes with the side effect of allowing her new husband to fight for a claim to the vampire throne. Mary may be powerful, curious, and a little bit quirky, but she’s been brainwashed into accepting her fate as a privilege, and with pretty much no ‘real’ life experience to give her perspective, she hasn’t even considered refusing.

From the moment Tucker and Mary meet, they both feel a pull to the other, which makes things super awkward when he is roped into the job of driving her across the country for her upcoming nuptials. But it does set the scene for an entertaining road trip as the two of them embark upon their journey.

“I call you ‘kid’ to remind myself to stop noticing how pretty you are,” he said quietly. “That’s not for me to notice, Mary. You’re not mine to look at. Or touch. And it’s reminding me of that, too.”

She may be blind, but Mary’s eyes are opened wide on her trip as she experiences life for the first time – and Tucker is right there by her side, facilitating her journey. They talk, they laugh, they live, they share about their pasts and what they truly want for their lives, all while fighting off bad guys and dealing with their growing attraction to each other. It’s beautifully written, and there is true emotion between them, which I could really feel.

“I’d fight the world if you asked me.”

It’s such a gorgeous romance. There is a paranormal element to it, which allows it to be super serious, super fast, and I was right on board. I was feeling the feels, I was loving the chemistry, and the sexy time is all kinds of steamy. I enjoyed Tucker and Mary together so much.

“My blindness has been a curse my whole life. But you don’t make it feel like that. You fill my head with beauty. You make me feel like I’m already whole. Like I don’t need to change a single thing to be accepted or loved.”
You don’t,” he said without hesitation.

*dreamy sigh*

But the countdown to the end of their time together is looming, and while Mary is facing an unknown future, Tucker is facing immortality without the woman he knows is his. There are so many different factors at play which shape their story, and it’s intriguing and exciting watching it all unfold, and it’s super emotional as they figure out what their happy ending looks like, and what they’re willing to sacrifice to get it.

“You are the first and the last. The only one I’ll ever want or need or lust for. You’re mine, Mary. Not matter what, you are mine.”

“I’m staying with you,” she whispered. “You’re keeping me and I’m keeping you.”

I really loved this story. It’s a great mix of fun, exciting, dramatic and romantic. Tucker and Mary are fantastic characters who come together beautifully, and I loved their love story. The twists and turns in their story are so entertaining, and there’s a nice amount of action, intrigue and paranormal badassery which make this a really exciting read.

Characters from the previous book appear, and I loved seeing them again as they stand by Tucker’s side through it all, and the series finishes with a gorgeously happy ending for Tucker and Mary, wrapping up the series really nicely.

I’ve really enjoyed this series, and this book is such a great read. I loved it!

4 stars.

Gah I loved this so much and I’m so sad the series is over!! Tucker was so sexy and so human for a vamp, and I don’t think I’ve loved a heroine as much as I love Mary. They were perfect together.

I was really looking forward to reading Tucker's story and looking behind the mask of laughter. Unfortunately, Tucker and Mary's story was a hit and a miss for me. I come away unsure if this is the end of the series and having more questions than answers. I had a hard time staying connected with the story, which is most likely due to a migraine, not feeling well over all and my 30th wedding anniversary. Just a few distractions, LOL, so it was probably just me.

I liked how Tucker was not the glamorized version of perfection, but was a big man who was self conscious of his size and extra padding. It was interesting to see a MC/leading man portrayed in that manner, though it was mentioned a bit much, but it was different. Mary, blind and sheltered, she was called "Mary the Mad" in the beginning and had unique abilities, but I didn't feel like that was explained or explored to my satisfaction. I still have questions about the worldbuilding too. Again, it is probably me. I found the characters in the series sweet and it was an over quick, fun read. I would read Tessa Bailey again.

I have been waiting for Tucker and he is finally here!! Tucker is better than I could have hoped for! Plus he is described as having a David Harbour dad bod! Tessa Bailey gave us a Vampire and a Pouty Man Bear (PMB). Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I am here for all of this!!! I loved the connection between Tucker and Mary. They were instalove, fated mates, but there we lots of twists and turns in getting there. Mary is blind and Tucker is incredibly sweet and attentive to her, narrating the world for her in a way she has always wanted.

While this was a paranormal series and there is an epic battle for the supermacy for immortal kind as a backdrop to the story, it is definitely the secondary plot line and not the primary storyline. This can be read as a complete stand alone.

Mary and Tucker are the absolute sweetest, but with a solid dirty streak as you can expect from a Tessa Bailey Book. I highly recommend this series, and this story!

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

This is the 3rd book in Tessa's Phenomenal Fate series and is my favorite of the three. Tucker isn't your average hero and Mary isn't your average heroine. Tucker isn't good old boy handsome and Mary is blind. Tucker is a bit husky and wears gold chains. He doesn't think he is anything that Mary would want.

Of course, we all know that isn't the case. Tucker is drawn to Mary right away and Mary is drawn to Tucker. She could sense him in the crowd. She requests that Tucker drive her to her bridegroom and when her mother says no, she uses her powerful scream to make her mother change her mind.

Their journey together is an adventure. Mary has a bucket list and Tucker promises to help her with all of them, all of the while wanting her and finding out she is his mate.

I loved these two. They are so adorable together and they have many sexy times together. I mean, it's Tessa Bailey so you know you'll get a spicy scene or two.

My favorite thing about the book was how things turned out for Mary and Tucker. The ending was a bit predictable in how it would all work out but I loved it anyway. These two certainly got their HEA.

Going to skip my random thoughts this review but this was really delightful. There's a great reunion scene between father and son and a nice surprise at the end that wraps things up for them in a bittersweet way.

I do recommend reading the first two before reading this one. They are both good too.

Today Tomorrow and Always is the last book in Phenomenal Fate series and it is officially my favorite! I always had a feeling about our hero, Tucker, that he would steal my heart but he surpassed all my expectations!

Tucker never wanted to be in a war but being the right hand of the vampire king makes him more involved. When he meets a young, blind woman, he promises to deliver her to her future husband and the king’s enemy. The thing is he wants her for himself but in order to make her happy, he will let her go.

Mary has been a sheltered Fae all her life. She has not known true love until she meets the dirty mouthed taxi driver. She cannot see his face but she can feel his heart that is loyal and innocent.

Tucker is an anti-hero. He is not perfect in appearance, he does not scream swoon worthy vampire but he is the ideal romantic man. Everything he does, he does it for her happiness. I loved that he remained close to his humanity and he does not appear arrogant or satisfied as an immortal.

Mary is an innocent woman but she knows what she wants and I admired that she chose the right thing.

Although, the war between the paranormals might be a little confusing, the love story shines through the pages! This might be a book about immortals but the timeless thing is their love!

So, it's always sad when a series you are really enjoying ends. But, when it ends on a story as fabulous as the one for Tucker and Mary, well, you can't be too upset as you got one heck of a send-off for all of the characters.

The issue I am having with writing this review is I don't know what I can say without spoiling not only the plot of this one, but also of all of the books.

While they definitely are standalones when it comes to the central couple, they are also all part of an interconnected story. And, it's that story that actually leads to the one that Tucker and Mary are central to. Confused yet?

So, yeah, I don't know what to say other than read this. Read it now. It's as hot and sexy as you want (and let's be honest expect) from Tessa Bailey and it also has the heart, the the HEA that you want for these characters.

If you haven't read the first 2 books in the series, you may as well start with them...as reading this one will make you want to also read those.

I enjoyed and recommend this title, and series.

This was my favorite of the Phenomenal Fate series. It hit me right in the feels. I don't even think I have the words to describe how much I love Mary and Tucker. I am not an avid reader of vampire books, but I'm so happy I read these.
I could feel the sexual tension radiating off the characters in this book. I actually had to stop and take a break a couple of times because the emotions were so overwhelming. I even cried happy tears at one point.
This book had lots of action, some twists  and plenty of steam. It also has that bit of humor that helped to lighten up the darker themes.
I would highly recommend it, but I am happy I read the series in order.

This was a fun series. The covers are just beautiful to me and the stories were very entertaining. I'm so happy to see Tucker get his happily ever after. He was always my favorite. Mary was just the perfect woman for him. There were a few editing issues and the story was disjointed at times.. I still liked it a lot. Happy reading!

Today, Tomorrow and Always is the conclusion to Tessa Bailey's Phenomenal Fate trilogy and is by far my favorite of the series too! This one features lovable Tucker on a quest to help the faery, Mary get to her intended husband on time...which will also end up starting a war between her husband and Jonas. But all does not go as planned, and what Tucker finds is something even better.

Tucker is not your typical vampire, unlike his friends Jonas and Elias, he was not turned at the top of his prime. Though he was around the same age, mid-late twenties, he was built more like a linebacker than quarterback, so Tucker really never thought much of finding his forever happiness. I bring this up first, because I found is so refreshing to see a guy who's a bit body conscious. It made Tucker an even more lovable character in my opinion.

When Tucker signs himself up to be Mary's chauffeur to deliver to her intended husband, Hadrian, he doesn't really realize what he signed himself up for. What he does know, almost right away, that Mary is his mate. Upon seeing her, he feels an intense connection, much like the one his friends Jonas and Elias talked about when they met their maters, and though Tucker knows Mary is the only one who can bring him true happiness, he's not willing to take the decision out of her hands. For she tells him, that being with Hadrian can give her her sight back and there's no way Tucker will take that away from her.

Mary truly is a sweet character! She's a fae who was cursed with blindness as a child, all she's ever really known is darkness. Her mother is adamant that she marries Hadrian to seal their alliance because with Hadrian ruling the mortal world, he can help to open the gates between worlds where Mary's fae father disappeared to years ago. Longing for that reunion for her mother and herself, Mary is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, her own happiness.

Mary and Tucker naturally just clicked. They are confined into a car together and start a nice little road trip. Honestly, it was so positively adorable seeing these two together. Tucker has never had what you could call a romantic life and Mary was always sheltered growing up since she was blind. The two of them coming together was the sweetest sort of romance! That Tucker helps her fulfill some of her bucket list items endeared him to me even more!

As we see more into Tucker's past as a human, I started to make some guesses as to what I thought was happening and hoo boy, was I right! I had an inkling there was more to Tucker's past than what was being shown to us through these flashbacks and why they had to be important! I love when things come together like that and I am able to actually see them! Other times, I get so wrapped up in mysteries I sometimes miss telling clues! Lol!

The ending to this one was explosive too! I was trying to speculate what I thought was going to happen based on the previous two books' endings and I can happily say that I did not see this one coming! It was a nice and refreshing kind of ending in that sense!

I did love seeing the other characters return as well, even if it was merely just a pop up appearance to say hi! It's to be expected after reading the trilogy through! But I loved that through it all the vampire boys remained friends with one another even after they began finding their fated mates!

The pacing to this one was pretty ideal this time around! I loved the road trip vibes because road trips are so fun and there's so many adventures that can happen there! The absolute adoration Tucker had for Mary, the care and kindness he showed her through their romance was one of the most endearing things about this book! I loved that it was a little lower on the heat level--though it does still get pretty hot--and focused more on the trust building and other emotional structure of a relationship! So sweet and I loved where things ended up for these two!

If you're looking for a fun, light-hearted paranormal romance read, I would highly recommend this series! It's a short, fast paced trilogy that ends on a high note! While each book does stand on its own, there is an overall continuing arc happening throughout the books that comes to a grand conclusion in the ending notes of this installment, so best to stick through the whole enchilada! It's a delightful and paranormal filled read that is sure to entertain you beginning to end!

Like I said when I started the Series, I’m not particularly a fan of Paranormal Romance, but after the HUGE CRUSH I had with Tessa Bailey’s writing almost two years ago, I decided to give it a try.

I was so glad I did!

I loved Book 1
I adored Book 2
But this one??? It was pure perfection.

I fell for Tucker through Jona’s and Ginny’s love story, and I literally “needed” his own story when I was finishing This Time Tomorrow (those who read Book 2 will understand me: that scene, when he just left with Mary, I just want to go with them!!!)

And now that I just closed the book… I have no words.

My best advice for you would be to dive into this one completely BLIND:

Zero expectation
Like Mary, let Tucker (and Tessa’s magic) guide you through their journey.

For me, it was all so unexpected… Tucker backstory, both Mary’s and Tucker’s characters, the way they just make sense together…

This book, ladies, is the perfect culmination for the whole Series

Tessa Bailey couldn’t have written a better love story for both of them.

Seriously, I cried!

Beautiful.
Hot (I mean: it’s Tessa Bailey!!!).
Emotional.
Poignant
PHENOMENAL

One of the best reads this year!

Classic Tessa Bailey, but with a paranormal spin. Lots of instalove and touch her and die vibes, but I liked that there wasn’t a lot of heavy lifting with this one. I haven’t read the previous 2 books, but didn’t feel too lost starting here. I just couldn’t resist the temptation of this one after Tessa Bailey revealed it had a virgin MMC (don’t worry - he’s a TB hero, so he’s quite skilled and a dirty talker regardless lol).

I really liked the lore/“rules” in this world about vampires and their mates. It was unique and a great twist on the traditional vampire/paranormal romances. The third act push away was frustrating, but I could understand why that decision was made. I also thought the main showdown with the villain was a bit anticlimactic, but honestly, none of us are reading this for that kind of action anyway. The ending was very sweet and I liked how Tucker and Mary got what they truly wanted. Overall, an entertaining read and I liked it enough that I’ll probably go back and read books 1 and 2 one day.

Phenomenal finish for the Phenomenal Fate Series

I was so looking forward to reading Tuckers story, and oh boy he didn’t disappoint! I literally stayed up until 5am to finish reading this, I was so hooked and invested. Tucker is endearing, has the usual TB heat and tongue we love, and just seeing his love and realisation was spectacular. Mary was brave, sassy and so cute and I found myself worrying about their ending right along with them, so I just couldn’t put it down till it was through. The way Tessa writes about the devotion and hunger, wow does it make me wish I had one after me!! I don’t even read supernatural books, this series and one other exception... but since it’s Tessa - it’s a one click no brainer! I started to guess little bits through the book and was excited my gut feeling was correct but I won’t say what these are to avoid spoilers. Definitely highly recommend reading this whole series... even if you like me love Tessa but aren’t usually into the supernatural series... Tessa loses none of her magic writing this series. I loved all 3!

There was a wonderful sweetness to this story, these characters, that should have seemed out of place, given the nature of the world the characters live in, but it fit them perfectly! Tucker is all bluster with a wonderful marshmellowy personality that is not at his center, but right there at the surface, you just need to look. Mary has been so sheltered, but not nearly as much as people think, because her blindness made her all the more aware of ‘feeling’ everyone’s intentions. They made me laugh, they made me cry, they made me swoon, and they made me squirm. Tucker and Mary did all those things, and more, because really, from the first moment until the final one in this book, they made me root for them and fall in love with them.

An incredible ending to this series. Tessa Bailey really knocked this one out of the park.

Such an engrossing well written book, Mary and Tucker’s story is so moving and honestly one of my favourite endings/conclusions ever. Wonderful characters, great world building and really great storyline.
Tucker stole my heart in Reborn Yesterday but I have to say he really captured me mind heart and soul with this book. Mary was his perfect counterpart, kind hearted brave and everything you love to read about in a heroine.

A truly beautiful story about discovering what you need in your other half, but more than that finding acceptance and love within yourself.

Goodness. This book really surprised me in the best way.

‘“I’m staying with you,” she whispered. “You’re keeping me and I’m keeping you, okay?”

Tucker is one of the best self sacrificing hero’s I’ve read in a long time. We’ve had glimpses of him in the two previous books, and I just KNEW there was something extra about him.

This book was emotional, definitely angsty, and Mary and Tucker have that insta-love/fated mates that just WORKS!

This book has the ending of the series that readers deserved. Though this is a standalone, I would definitely suggest reading the series in order.
