It's been about a month since I read this. I initially gave this 3.5 stars rounding down like a jerk. But I'll bump it to a 4 star. This was a solid, thrilling conclusion of the romance between Veronica a vampire hunter (kinda a general monster hunter) and the 3 men that turned out to be hers. A demon, a fallen angel and a vampire. Not what she was looking for originally. Normally, I fucking hate when someone's ex comes back in the picture especially if he was literally dead. I also dislike adding harem members after an established relationship because it feels emotionally unfaithful to me. Mila Young and Jordan Crow did a great job of toeing the addition line which raised tension without ultimately making me pissed. I would recommend binging the series because I totally went to long in between books especially since this one takes off immediately from he conclusion of the other one. Totally recommend especially if your a sucker for RH and vampires/demons/angels/etc.

I’m left gaping in shock at the revelations this book brings us. I’m not even sure what I can say that isn’t going to be a spoiler and yet has more meat to it than simply stating I loved it. Veronica has the opportunity to really come into her own in this book. And even our leading men undergo some significant attitude adjustments. They’ve had each others’ backs through the previous books, but they’ll really need to be at the top of their games for what they’re facing this time. Part of me is saying “okay, I can accept the series ending here”, but there’s a much bigger part of me that’s begging for there to be even more books about Veronica and company in the future.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I really enjoyed this series. And I love this author. I love Anita Blake and that’s what drew me to this series. Doesn’t help that mila young is an amazing author. This is my first with her this co-write with the second author. Their journey was full of bumps, bruises, and danger but worth it in the end.

So far this series was pretty good, but this final book was fan-freakin-tastic. Veronica and her boys got the wrap up they totally deserved and so much more. I've always enjoyed the work of Ms Young, but this on brought it to whole new level. If you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for?

The story starts right back where book 2 left. Veronica has been kidnapped by the wendigo and on her trip back to from the veil she brings back someone she thought she had lost. Orion, Logan, Seth, Trent and even Lian don't trust the guy, but Veronica still wants to give him a chance, after all she cannot forget her feelings. But when her fears come true, she needs to make a decision and decide where to stand.

This book is action-packed from page 1, and I can't wait to read book 4.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Wait what?

I hope that wasn't the end of the series because I'm confused, lost, and what in the world is going on

Blood Kissed is the third and I’m guessing final (?) book in Mila Young’s and Jordan Crow’s co-authored Chosen Vampire Slayer series. Blood Kissed does an excellent job picking up where book two left off with Veronica being essentially abducted by the Wendigo that Logan helped heal. The true intentions of this strange paranormal creature won’t be long in coming to fruition as it is not exactly working alone. But things get really twisted, bizarre, and dangerous when Veronica’s former love makes a mysterious return to the human realm.
Blood Kissed is 100% engaging and a crazy page-turner of a book. I will not deny that one little bit. The minute I started this book I don’t think that I put it down for one minute more than absolutely necessary. So if you’ve been reading the series and have made it this far...buckle up because things are about to get wild. Now, things not only get wild, but they get sticky complicated at the same time. Veronica’s life has had its ups and downs, but things are getting turned on their head with Dylan’s return. Of course, Veronica is head over heels happy, but it seems that she loses all good sense along the way. I like and appreciate that the animosity and infighting between the three guys are significantly toned down in this book. I like that they are working to compromise with each other and are working together with less of the drama that was rampant in book two. The authors do a great job keeping me on the edge of my seat with where the storyline is going, but sadly...Veronica once again disappoints.
As a slayer, I expected more from Veronica. She’s been through a lot and the death of Dylan really rocked her. So I get it. Her being able to see him again, feel him, touch him...she’s going to be ridiculously happy. But I expected her to sooner rather than later begin to question...what is he? He’s been dead for years. She should have been more on-guard and less defensive when being questioned about him. I felt that this makes her look too naive for her own good and a bit simple-minded. This only becomes compounded in my opinion when she lets him talk down to her for basically have the “audacity” to move on with her life.
The ending of this book is another issue for me. It makes me question...is there going to be another book in this series? Is there going to be a spin-off? Because it feels wide open with lots of questions that are left unanswered. The ending... put flatly...it’s exactly that...flat and very unsatisfactory. I expected more. It doesn’t read as a “HEA.” It reads more like… “until the next time.”
Veronica’s attitude really annoyed me when it came to the way she wanted so desperately to turn a blind eye to Dylan, but the ending left me feeling really dissatisfied with this book. So I’m rating this book 4 out of 5 stars. I loved the pace! I loved the steamy! But the ending, the unanswered questions, and Veronica not being a stronger character like I had hoped she’d become just left me feeling disappointed in the end.

3 in 2 days

I read this series over two days and waited until the end to form a real opinion. I can honestly say I tried with this one. Hopefully I can write this without giving away any spoilers so proceed at your own risk. Let's start with the FMC. She was awful. I'm every book she knew she was causing chaos, hurting the guys, and treated them as if they were beneath her while repeatedly falling into bed with them. She was there on her best friends dime and practically ignored her. She would run off into danger with zero thought to her safety or those she cared about. She was probably the first female lead I truly could not find a redeeming quality in. Honestly the list goes on. Next we have Orion. He was possessive beyond all reason, obsessed, and thought he was superior to everyone. He conspired to turn her knowing full well she wasn't going to go along with it but continued to believe his own delusions. He got so many killed and didn't even care enough about his people to mention one of their names in the whole series. Seth's temper was abysmal and he behaved as if she was strictly his c$m dumpster. Even when he went through a traumatic experience it was like it meant nothing. Logan was aloof in every book. He hid things. He did that thing with the wendigo and never told anyone his part. There was no character development with anyone until the last few chapters. You don't see them changing at all they just suddenly decide everything is okay and to play nice. I didn't buy it one bit. This series could have just been one poorly written book instead of drawing out this trainwreck over three books. And yet somehow there were still a million loose ends left unresolved. Some of these reviews acted as if they were so impressed by that and hold out hope there will be more in this world. I just think the authors dumped this garbage and washed their hands. I found myself making a disgusted face and skimming by halfway thru this last book. It was a major struggle to finish. I have read other stuff by Mila Young... I liked it. Pass on this.

I expected more. So let's start off with Veronica. We find out what Veronica is, and it's kind of shocking mainly because we have no clue how she became this thing. It also isn't addressed, especially seeing as when she was a child, a vampire drank her blood and reacted badly to it. Also, it was never addressed. Then we have her connection with the MMC's, and I honestly don't get how they work at all, seeing as they seem to be using each other in some form (except Logan). Next, Orion he acted like a child the entire series and had no character development. Sorry but true. Next, Seth is also the same as Orion he was literally taken out of a good portion of book 2 because there was nothing to build on for him, I'm sure. Next, Logan the silent brooding mmc that would usually peek my attention, but even when we got his POV it was mainly Orion is annoying, Seth is always wanting to fight, I think I maybe obsessed with the slayer. It was so weird and over the top that I'm pretty sure that all three books can be edited into one book and actually be decent.

Trent and Lian are fillers for the nonexistent character development and to fill the smut.

The End.

Didn’t see that coming.

So don’t read if you don’t want spoilers because I’m not sure if I’ll spill them or not. I got an arc of this book too and man I did not see a lot of things coming in this book.

At one point my heart was so sore I wanted to cry and wrap V in a hug. Why?! Oh why?! It was a great twist don’t get me wrong…it was brilliant but ohhh the feels. Just goes to show that the heart is blind when it comes to love.

I haven’t been a huge Orion supporter because man alive he’s so self absorbed but his fall from power has definitely humbled him and I can actually appreciate this newer Orion. I definitely want to see more of his new found ‘partnership’ (snickers uncontrollably) with Trent. Oh the things they will do to each other.

But can I just say I need more of Logan and V…especially now. Sooooo much potential there. And that ending with Seattle and our wayward heart breaker…can I smell spin-off? Hmmmmm

Anyway suspense filled read with great twists and turns and probably my favorite of the series yet.

This book was amazing. This book, actually this series, but this book specifically was really packed with action, twists, turns, revelations we didn’t expect. There was also, place for some steamy time. Our V was always strong, all in, never give up, never back down.. but in this story she beca’e even stronger, more determined, found her place to be and accepting herself as she is. As well as accepting her three guys, as they are, even if the mix seems not possible to accept. And those three needed to work together, accept each other and reine their animosity, jealousy and many other feelings, the did grow as well. However most of all it’s V that grown on them. Balance was not easy to find. Danger real and bigger than we thought. This story kept me on high alert and made me chewing my nails. I simply loved it, the hardest part is to say goodbye to those wonderful characters. I know there is more story to tell. I would not change single word of it.

Vampires, demons and angels. If you had one of each as your lovers and you happened to be a badass slayer, none of them would get on with each other, but they each filled a piece of your soul perfectly, how would you go about making it work? Oh and throw in a vampire territory war, slayer friends who don't understand how you can be with "monsters", a dash of first love complications, new monsters and then you have Blood Kissed. A wonderful, fast paced, steamy ride through a story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Veronica is a tough slayer, but she is also empathetic, caring and able to see the world in more than shades of black and white. Orion, a world weary vampire leader, Logan, a moody angel and Seth, a hot headed demon, together they really are a dream team, if they can all just stop fighting each other. Super fun read, loved it.

I didn't see any of that coming, so it was definitely a rollercoaster ride for Veronica and her men. Veronica really did get the chance to grow in this book, and she took every advantage of that. Even the guys managed to get their acts together and work together properly instead of arguing and being at each other's throats, but I guess with Veronica as a catalyst that would happen.

I've loved Veronica from the beginning, she's smart, sassy, and come on guys, she has pink hair! I mean who doesn't want pink hair, I know I do.

Seth has been my favourite throughout the series, and even now in book three that hasn't changed. Though Orion has definitely grown on me, at first he seemed very self-absorbed and egotistical but he's slowly changed throughout.

It's a great conclusion and I can't wait to read more from this author!

Spoilers

I'm rather disappointed with how the series ended. There are too many unanswered questions. Plus, it was way too anticlimactic. Veronica finds out her true heritage and just accepts it without question, apparently, so do the guys and Lian. The final 'battle' really wasn't a battle at all. Yeah, she wiped out the vamp Sharman but that was rather a pathetic one-hit wonder. There was no explanation of what happened to the Wendigo or why it betrayed Logan. Dylan, Veronica's dead ex came back to life, betrayed her, and was allowed to walk away as though nothing happened. No clue what happened with Trent or if he went after Dylan in Seattle. Or, if Orion ever gave up his pointless idea of turning V into a vamp. Did the guys go after Steele? Did she ever finish school? Did she ever solve the problems for the job she was hired for?

OH MY GOSH! where do I even begin! Mia is one of my FAVORITE authors and I just loved this series! The collaboration with Jordan was AMAZING! The ending of this series was hard to the. Lol I was so invested in these characters! I wanted more...

V was one of my favorite characters. She is so strong and goes all in! This book was so jamm packed with emotions and action...twists and turns! I was just thoroughly absorbed in it. ( I am trying so hard not to give you spoilers)😁😉 I wouldn't do it justice anyway. The past comes to haunt, things are revealed, and alot of things are answered...but... 🤔 I think that there's ALOT of room for spin off's 😁🙏😉

A really AMAZING series and this final book...it might just be my favorite. I HIGHLY recommend it!

I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of surprises and twists this book brought to Veronica's story. After reading the previous two books, I already had some expectations and ideas, but this installment simply brought in a lot more, new and unexpected. I very much enjoyed some of the revelations, learning about Veronica's true nature, or see her past come back to life to haunt her (kind of :) ). But maybe even more I enjoyed the growth in the relationship dynamics, Orion learning to share, Logan learning to open up more, and Seth - just being Seth is enough. The story provided enough space for both plot and character development, leading a sneaky path through emotions and action, and even the conclusion provided enough satisfaction.

Veronica's hometown is under threat, and no matter how much she wants to resist, she's falling for three gorgeous monsters. Yet when her first love is suddenly back from the dead, will she abandon everything to be with him?

This final book in the thrilling Chosen Vampire Slayer series is fantastic! I think it's my favorite one in the trilogy. We start off right in the action with not only Veronica's life on the line but her spirit. She's strong, but even the strongest of people have their weaknesses. And someone found hers. I love the scenes with Orion, Seth, and Logan, and their weird dynamic. Yet it works so well and Veronica fits in, tying them all together. A lot of action and twists and turns. I had no idea what was coming!

Quite a few surprises

Veronica, a college student with an unusual job, has been kidnapped and is hoping to be rescued by her three supernatural lovers, Seth a demon, Logan a fallen angel, and Orion a vampire. As the story progresses a surprise appearance occurs, changes are not easily detected, and surviving the final battle could come at great cost. Mila Young and Jordan Crow have granted a happy ending with quite a few surprises in Blood Kissed. Their journey was full of bumps, bruises, and danger but worth it in the end.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This book was full of emotion, action, and quite a bit of angst. 3 different supernaturals whom she’s trained to kill, V is still reeling that she’s forming a relationship with all of them. yet the past comes back to look her in the face, and almost costs her everything. Her sanity, her life, and her current set of men all hang in the balance, and she has no idea if she should trust her gut instincts, or her heart. Suffice to say this book leads you on a wild ride that you can’t get off from. I loved it.

I really enjoyed this book. V is not like your average slayer. She is all about doing the good work of ridding the world of the bad monsters and finds herself falling deeper in love with a vampire clanmaster, demon, and fallen angel. Will they all be able to put their difference aside and work together for the greater good? Will she be able to move on from her past boyfriend that was killed by vampires? Will they protect V's best friend's town? Oh and will V get the love and attention she so craves and deserves from her hot and strangely gentle monsters??? So good!

Veronica was in danger but the vampire, the Demon and the fallen angel were there for her even if her past was trying to drag her down. Orion, Seth and Logan were intense and their POV were showing their commitment to Veronica. Liked the detailed narrations and descriptions that led me to visualize the action and the unexpected twists. This final book in the series tied loose ends, we got some surprises, and the protagonists had their HEA. Action, suspense, good and strong characters, an intense fight, mystery, a monster, enemies, darkness, deceit, violence, romance and passion.

For this final installment this book has it ALL -
Veronica is even more of a badass then we thought, she is surrounded by Seth, Logan and Orion supporting her, whether it be loud and demanding or quiet and supportive they are 100% Team Veronica. They support her even when OMG, DID HE REALLY SHOW UP??!!! And no, I am not telling you who.
There is action, oh crap moment, acceptance and closure. Lets not forget the fantastic sex scenes and of this wrapped up in a nice little bow with an Amazing ending.

Didn't see that coming

There was definitely a lot that happened. Things that were revealed. The story took interesting turns that I was excited about. The reason I took 1 star was because it felt like a rush to finish the series. Everything wasn't wrapped up in a neat bow either, but I do feel that the things left, were reasonable and a great ending regardless. I just wish the fight scenes and such weren't so quickly ended and had more descriptions to it. We finally found out what V is, but then not long after finding out, the story ends. Overall I still enjoyed it :)

Thrilling conclusion!
This whole series has been an insanely wild ride and this book did not disappoint! I could not put it down!
Veronica is so sassy, strong, stubborn and always down to handle business! I have loved experiencing her journey with her men and am seriously sad this series is over but do not regret that ride!

Brilliant read.
Veronica has many challenges to face in this book, From wendigos, to possessive boyfriends to her past coming back to catch up with her. Veronica needs more than her wits about her.
Orion needs to learn to share but can this selfish Vampire loose complete control over Veronica, Logan needs to learn to let people in and communicate better and Seth needs to learn to share and be compassionate. but can they work together to be the men that Veronica deserves.

A thrilling finish

A thrilling finish to the Chosen Vampire Slayer series! 😍 I loved the 'blast from the past' and getting to see her 3 guys working together, somewhat harmoniously for her benefit. Seth is still my fav, he's just simply awesome and hilarious 😍😂 I did feel the ending was a bit rushed and that there was a bit left unresolved, but that just means there's the possibility for future books in this world. 😁😍

This book has everything you could want in a final book including room to branch out if wanted. Veronica is taken by the weindigo and her guys are on a mission to get her back. Will they reach her in time? Will they kill each other before they get to her? The only thing they agree on is getting her back into their arms. Sexy vampire Orion, hot demon Seth and let's not forget about Logan the yummy Angel. If I could give more then 5 🌟s I definitely would. I highly recommend this series.

What a doozie of a conclusion!

This book really throws you in the thick of things. With three very different love interests, things get a little push and pull. Our girl keeps the sass and brings them together in a way only she can.

A lot happens in book three, and I mean a lot, so hang on tight for this one. Great world-building, character development, and a really thrilling ride you won't want to miss out on.
