They would form no brotherhood of virtue until driven to it by a brotherhood of vice. Lola Moreno has found a home at last, saved from destitution by businessman Gage Lassen. Gage is a withdrawn bachelor, and the most intimate subject he’s discussed with Lola is his preference in tea. Adventurer Harrison Bancroft arrives fresh from years on the Plains, living with Indians. Gage can only admit affection for another man, and things heat up when Harrison paints his portrait. Harrison and Lola can find no way to allow Gage to participate in their love, until Harrison unlocks the pain from Gage’s past, allowing him to emerge from his prison of cold restraint.Corrupt enforcer Fowler threatens the trio with seeming knowledge of their private vices, harassing Harrison with his unwanted attentions, and a night of riots forces them to make a stand. Three lovers, one destiny.Publisher’s Either Ore is a gritty western MMF romance novel. Contains extremely explicit man-on-manlove action, self-pleasuring, voyeurism/exhibitionism, consensual BDSM, forced seduction, Dom/sub activity, and scorching hot scenes of historical menage. It is a 66,000 word story with no cliffhanger and HEAs for all. These are standalone books and can be read out of order.

The second book in this series is hot and I enjoyed it. All 3 characters, Lola, Harrison and Gage, were great, even though it took me awhile to get into Gage. He was such a jerk at first but I finally warmed up to him. MMF is one of my favorite things to read and this hit all the notes for me. I'll be waiting for more!!!

I loved this book. Gage was such an ass to Lola at least until Harrison showed up on the scene then the sexual tension was through the roof.

I received an advanced copy of this book and was not required to leave a review.

Explicit MMF romance with lots of passion
This MMF ménage takes place in California’s 1848 wild gold rush. Knowing that this author enjoys non-fiction, I feel confident that she has mixed truth with fiction in this series of stories. Love the cover too!
Courtesan Lola Moreno was abandoned by her latest amour in San Francisco. In Europe she was popular and known as the Spanish Dancer. Here unfortunately, she is Gage Lassen’s housemaid. He treats her less than politely but there is a reason. Gage, the Treasurer of San Francisco, has been hurt by a woman before. In his mind it will never happen again. Because Lola works part time at the newspaper setting type or acting as a roving reporter aka “journalist,” she meets many of the arriving ships in the harbor. When she spies Harrison Bancroft, she knows she must get his story. Bancroft is more than a mere soldier and his appetites range far and wide as well. Their individual stories are beguiling and their new combined story is steamy. All characters are in their late 30’s.
In the beginning the characters’ imaginings titillate until they can consummate. And WOW do they imagine…LOTS! The times are raunchy so expect that in their behaviors. Remember also that MM was unlawful back then, just adding to the intrigue. There is an underlying plot as well. If you like MMF romance, with lots of action and character development, read this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and give it a minimum of 5 scintillating stars.

Interesting using San Francisco Gold Rush History

A little slow at the beginning but picked up as the story developed. Some very interesting characters in the mix of background filler. Ménage western style was defiantly tamer than expected

An interesting and unusual western about a European courtesan quite infamous but abandoned and left in a bad way in San Francisco. She became a housemaid, cook and whatever to Gage Larson who ran the newspaper where she also worked as a reporter. Not treated well despite working hard at her various jobs her sexual interest is raised on high alert when she sees the handsome plainsman newly arrived, Harrison Bancroft. They have a fierce love affair and Gage learns of it and wants in though hasn't engaged previously. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

No triggers
Told in all 3 POVs
HEA with a HFN kind of ending (for me anyways).
I’m a sucker for M/M/F romances so I was excited to read this one. I just didn’t like Gage’s view of seeing women in general as witchy women he should avoid because of his ex and when she did to him. He treats Lola as a servant to do as he wants, when he wants when she’s at his house plus on top of that to be a reporter/journalist for his newspaper... she basically is at his beck and call and he’s never nice to her at all in all the years she’s been working for him, housemaid, cook, clean, serve drinks and receive guests plus her work at the paper.... very busy ex Spanish dancer. But all that changes with a white man with flaming red hair shows up in San Francisco, Harrison. Harrison is attractive to Lola from the first time seeing her, days pass when he kisses her but Harrison will be attracted to a mixed race man that Harrison has never been attractive to men before but Gage he is. Soon Harrison & Lola become close making Gage into the bad guy by creating distance between Harrison and a Lola when he wants in to some action. This was the hurt point for me when I risk reading M/M/F romances because one will get jealous over the two and punch the third away during their fun but never acknowledge their wrongdoings until later on when the one partner is hurt but the one’s actions....

First and foremost, this is a period piece with the stylistic writing and language from the 1800's. Set in San Francisco California during the gold rush, Harrison, Gage and Lola find themselves working together for the betterment of the town and citizens. Secondly, this is a menage romance MMF scenes. Harrison and Lola find themselves falling into a relationship and when Gage finds them in a compromising situation, he expresses his interest in Harrison. Gage is standoffish with Lola and almost to the point of being rude to her. Harrison figures out its a result of his past and Lola is able to see past Gage's attitude toward her. The book is about them figuring out how to navigate this new relationship, which they finally do, as well as the underlying plot of a new City trying to find its way past lawlessness. It was interesting read, it tended to get a bit wordy and took some getting used to the stylistic writing but generally it had a solid plot that kept you reading with plenty of steam.

So I am a historical romance fan. It's where I began my addiction to romance books. I've moved through the standard historical romances and am now looking for stories of folks that risked it all for their way of life. When falling in love could cost you everything, even your life. This is one of those stories. Lola, Harrison, and Gage make for a story that has stayed with me weeks later. It's everything you love about MMF stories and the historical storytelling is spot on. I loved the growth of the relationships, particularly between Lola and Gage. They had a lot of baggage to unpack before they found each other, especially Gage. I think my favorite part of the story was Lola. She was a famous courtesan who was abandoned in San Francisco. She, with the help of Gage, managed to build a new life. I loved the storyline of her becoming a full-time reporter and accepted by her peers and community as a whole in that role. A female reporter in the 1800's was an exception, not the rule. Overall, this was an excellent story, with a beautiful romance, an excellent villain, and an HEA. Highly recommend it.

Broken, Betrayed, Abandoned X 3

Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2021

How can 3 people who have suffered the brokenness, betrayals and abandoment life has dealt them find true love and happiness together? Surviving old San Francisco with its depressig weather, mud filled streets, tent cities and failed and discontented gold miners is more than enough to live through.
This is a well written story that weaves the hidden and surpressd passion of 3 people into a blazing tapestry. Gage, an upright councilman, is drawn to Harrison. Lola, Gage's maid and fledgling newspaper reporter, is drawn to Harrison. Harrison, newly discharged from the military, is drawn to Lola and Gage.
The characters are well developed as well as the intricate description of gold rush San Francisco. All that hidden and surpressd passion has to go somewhere so rest assured thar the heat level is hot hot hot.
Enjoy the read.

This entertaining book is the second in this series, but you do not need to have read the first book to enjoy this one. Gage has taken Lola into his house, but he is rather unkind and stand-offish.
However when another man enters the picture, he takes notice...of the man. But, it's 1848, and a man loving another man is not only frowned upon, it could get you killed. Why is Gage so cold? Can Harrison get him to reveal his secrets and pain? Can Harrison, Gage, and Lola create something lasting? And who is Fowler and what does he want? This gritty story of the lawless West has interesting characters, hot passion and steamy scenes, and a bit of drama. I'm really liking this series so far.

I loved the first book in this series. I found it authentically gritty and honest in its depiction of how hard it would be living in this time period. This book continues those characteristics, but I enjoyed it even more. We have three great characters here with great backstories that make their actions and how their complicated relationships develop perfectly believable. Fowler is a great villain which always makes a story like this better. I love the steamy parts of Wolfe's books, but what I enjoy even more are the information we get about things like journalism in this time, Harrison's life with the Plains people, etc. It's clear the author does her research, but also knows how to weave it into the story, not just dump it on us. More westerns, please.

Another one not to be missed especially if the first one was devoured. Lola starts you out in this gem getting a home with Gage whom is very much in himself due to pain. Then along comes Harrison and the home is about to be burst open. He is also one interesting dude. Things begin to unfold between Harrison and Lola. Gage though has to open and allow Harrison to help with that and do some healing. Then when that happens the three can make a real home. The times though are rough so their lives have to be private. Drama though does come knocking with a snake to cause the trouble. We turn those pages to see if they take a stand and hold onto it. Scorched fingers also part of this read.

Either Ore, book two in the Going for the Gold series follows Spanish dancer turned housemaid Lola Moreno, businessman Gage Lassen and adventurer Harrison Bancroft. Harrison and Lola are instantly attracted to each other, and he meets who is also also attracted to Harrison. When Gage realizes that he wants Harrison for himself, he tries to create distance between Harrison and Lola, until Harrison discovers Gage’s past and they all work towards a common goal of being happy, even when being together could cost them everything. It was a little hard to follow at times since it’s written in the old dialogue of the Wild West of the 1800s, but it is still a great story to read.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a historical menage romance between Lola, Harrison and Gage. It is set back in the lawless gold rush. There is plenty of steam between the characters. Gage never fully won me over. I guess that I did not feel as connected to his character. Their story is definitely complicated in that era but in the end love finds a way. I enjoyed their story

There’s a lot of names that are thrown into the story at the beginning which I felt unnecessary. I liked Lola and really liked Harrison, but Gage wasn’t so easy to like. He was pretty much a complete jerk to Lola and treated her with no respect. His interactions with Harrison, however, were scorching hot!
MMF stories can get dicey, especially when there’s jealousy, and that was the biggest challenge to this book.

This a MMF romance with some light bondage set in the 1800 in San Fran. Harrison and Lola are falling in love but there is a 3rd in their union making it a bit more complicated, Gage. While Gage seems to not like women, as time goes on he finally gets back in touch with that side of him and accepts it. Harrison and Lola are happy to include Gage in the sexual relationship and its hot. I enjoyed the other story line about the life back then and the challenges that were there in the early days of our nations citys. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

An amazing story. This story is set during the gold rush. It follows a woman who comes from Britain to America with her man, but is then abandoned there. She goes to work for a wealthy man, and is treated rather rudely by him. Lola then meets an adventurer ( Harrison) coming off a ship and they start liking eachother. But Lolas employer Gage, also likes Harrison but being wealthy he is afraid to loose his power by declaring his intents. Loved reading this story. Thanx.

Gage employs Lola as his housemaid, as he is a lone bachelor. Lola also works part time at the newspaper fixing print and is always on the hunt for a good adventure. Harrison comes into town and he is immediately drawn to withdrawn to Lola, and her to him. Gage is also drawn to Harrison and he to him. As the trio are working their around things, they are noticed and start to get made fun of for their non-traditional ways. It is a great book with a great ending.

I really enjoyed this book. Overall the characters were very well written and developed, and the setting was intricately described. There were a few times were the story felt a little bogged down by the sheer amount of detail, but overall it was great. The steamy scenes were very well written and engaging. I loved the setting in California near the beginning of the gold rush .

Lola needed a place to live and Gage takes her in. He’s a bachelor and isn’t very friendly. Then Harrison is an adventurer and had been on the plains and comes to be with them and paints Gages portrait. This opens Gage up a little but then the attraction between them gets stronger. Can they get Gage to open up about his past so that he can be more open? Will others leave them find happiness together?

This story takes place in the 1800’s gold rush. The main characters are Gage a total chauvinistic jerk despite his history. Lola who puts up with his crap and Harrison who sort of balances the three. This is a ménage story and the language reflects the time period. I feel very spoiled with what I have compared to their living conditions. Historical books are not my main reading interest, but I thoroughly enjoyed both books in this series so far.

I enjoyed this wonderful historical Romanse very much. It takes place in early San Francisco during the gold rush days. The story took me a little time to develop but there many explicit scenes between the main characters. Gage was such an ass of an goof head to Lola until Harrison came on the scene. The sexual tensions then flew around quite a bit.
I really loved this book.

Well done, and easy to engage, MMF historical western. Scenes among the main characters are off the charts. Manages to keep you indulged from beginning to end.

Harrison, Gage, and Lola were intensely gratifying.
