Judge Emily Jennings is thirty-seven when she realizes her life is going no where on Earth and she needs to make a major change. Hot tattooed men have always been her thing, so she chooses to marry a Zeylan and start over on a new planet. She’s paired with Judge Jared, a Zeylanian Judge, and quickly learns that he likes to control, not just a courtroom, but also in the bedroom. Jared wants to hear Emily beg, but she is a control freak who claims she never does. Each book in the Zeylan Bride series is stand alone and can be read in any order. If you like it, check out my Otan Bride series as well for more arranged marriage erotica set in the same universe. ____________________________________ This story contains graphic depictions of sex between consenting adults and features elements of age difference, alien encounters, abduction, and bondage. Avid reader/blogger turned erotica writer during the pandemic — because what else was there to do? I’ve been reading steamy romance novels since elementary school when I would “borrow” my mother’s books. Discovered the key to her locked cabinet in high school and gained access to her stash of good books and was hooked ever since.
I stumbled upon alien erotica novels early in the pandemic, and I honestly hadn’t known non-cheesy ones were out there. I always assumed they would be stupid. But bored with the never-ending sameness, I happened upon one with a hot alien cover and started reading.
As they say, the rest is history. And here I am, writing alien erotica….
3 - 3.5 stars It is extremely short reading, but it has entertainment value. It is sexy, it is sizzling, it is strangely erotic in this sci fi world. There is plenty of sexfest when you meet the alien or man you are to be wedded to. Earth is not like it was and Aliens are the hottest item women are scrambling for. What makes them flock to alien worlds? If you like something oh so sexy, spicy & erotic, steaming & exciting this is a book you should grab & dive right in.
I'm trying to expand my interests and want to slowly dip my toe into the Alien/Sci-Fi World..
Sadly, I didn't choose the best first book for that. Don't get me wrong, this was a good story with good writing.. But it was too short to actually dive into the alien world. You didn't get a description of what it looked like or how it was. There also seemed to be no difference between the alien and the human, which was kind of disappointing.
It's definitely a good story to read if you want something quick and easy, but not if you want to actually get into the Alien/Sci-Fi universe.
This wasn’t bad in a way. If you like just bedroom stuff and almost nothing else then you will love this. It’s very short so you don’t get much. I also feel the age gap is a little weird in my opinion. For them to be paired together and for him to be in his 50’s and her to be 35 ish. Plus with him living there he’s actually 105 that’s weird. It was a good filler to get closer to my reading goal but still.

A very well written quick read. It read very similar to the first story, and I hope the rest will not be a plug in and repeat. It was crazy how she decided she needed to change her life and did so drastically. Her match, rocked her world, at first, not so good, but later, oh la la. She decided that this new life was worth it, and so was he.
The short and sexy storyline in this book was pretty good for a read of this length. It could make for a good series of shorts. The spicy time was good and I absolutely loved how sweet Jared was during and after. The only reason I am giving three stars is the use of the words muff and hotbox - can’t do it.
This is the 2nd book I've read in this series. The sex scenes are scorching hot. The MMC is awesome in both but I'm seeing a repetitive FMC in each. Similar narratives/self-image/inner dialogues. Overall, great read.
2.5. It's too short, and spends too much time establishing her personality only for it to be thrown out the window because she doesn't want to be that person anymore. Why did I need to know her, then? I'll be all for it in a longer novel, but here it just felt like a waste of time.
A very short read with the main lead getting fleshed out enough to almost warrant a longer read (which I'm not mad about and kinda like). But we love all the consent and reassurance when it came to the spice.
A silly spicy read lol it was kinda funny just cuz the verbiage was different than I was used to. Muff had me cackling like a madwoman. And so did hot box.
