The Resolution

Rate this book
This story picks up where Dark Karma left off. Enjoy the next thrilling adventure into alternate dimensions! “From the first time I saw you back in the 14th century to the day I was imprisoned in the dark realm, you have lived in my dreams and my heart,” David said to Maddie. He knows that she is the reincarnation of his beloved Cara. Can he convince her that they shared a past life? Will she still want him once she learns the truth? And what about the evil immortal who wants her dead? “If I can pull a cat from a dream, I can rescue Mori from where she’s being held prisoner,” thought Noah Colton. Each night Mori comes to him on the astral plane, begging for him to save her and vanishing before he can follow. Terrified that she will soon be killed, he travels to another dimension to rescue her and bring her to his home. But what will happen when her captors track her down? Two, out-of-this-world romantic fantasy stories unfold as David and Noah battle dark forces to save the women they love. Find out what happens when the unexpected intervenes and changes everything in these interconnected stories.

I enjoy reading books on psychic phenomena and all things metaphysical. Most of my life I've been fascinated with astral travel, dreams, the ability to see the future, and reincarnation.

I've wanted to write a book since I was a child, it was the first thing I can ever remember saying I wanted to do when I grow up. I love creating worlds in my mind and writing about them. My best days are when my characters decide to have lively conversations and I type them fast and furious.

An epic tale to the karma series. Say hello to Maddie and David. David believes Maddie is the incarnation of his love Cara. While trying to start a relationship, Lily appears and causes trouble. Now we add Noah to the story. He has been having dreams of a woman who is in need of help. Saving her might not be easy.

All characters have been introduced to us in a previous storyline. Their story and growth is detailed to give us knowledge regarding their special abilities and to explain Karma. I was fascinated with this book. Enjoyed the wonderful characters. They had every day lives. Their lives were were all tied in together. A recommended weekend read.

They’re back! David and Maddie return. David is still here; Maddie is his beloved Cara reincarnated and come back to him – if she believes it.

Noah has repeated dreams of Mori, begging him to save her from captivity and eventual death at the hands of the alien beings holding her. Freeing her turns out to be easier than keeping those creatures from pursuing her – and him. At this point, naturally, they don’t want her back. They just want both of them dead.

Here’s Simon, who appears to be Noah’s twin. He’s not – but who he is, that’s a different matter.

Lily is still here, bent on inflicting all of the evil she is capable of, and she is capable indeed. Will she ever get her just desserts?

On the one hand, all of those loose strings are tied up in the end. They aren’t necessarily tied up the way a reader of the previous books would expect, but suffice it to say that nobody is left hanging. Hanging? Heavens, no. There are far more creative ways to put someone to death, right?
