A curse to break. A sister to find. A quadrant to reclaim.
After the initial shock of being soul seared to a stranger, Creed and I realize the universe might know what it's doing afterall. As the two realms unite and initial relationships are made, the news of our mating breeds more than salacious curiosity throughout Dornte—it ignites hope.
The citizens want safety. And freedom. And the restoration of the royal family.
With the rule of the usurper queen threatened, Laryssa's claws come out and her most effective weapons against Creed are: threatening my life, tormenting his sister, and empowering the blood witch to torture him with the dark beast he's been cursed with.
But Creed isn't alone in his fight anymore. Now he has us.
*Dark Soul is book two in the second harem of the Guardians of the Fae Realms, steamy reverse harem paranormal romance series. Expect sexy polyamorous situations (mmmfm), rollicking action, ongoing storylines, and shifter lovers who find what they need from not only their queen but each other as well. Med-burn, med angst, vivid sexual content, and language.*
Dark Soul continues where Dark Curse left off and we are again taken on quite an adventure. Kayla is now comfortable with her mating bond to Creed and I loved adding Doc to the mix. There is drama, suspense and unexpected twists and turns with lots of added spices scenes and then we add in Creed's complicated relationship with Rhy for some excellent storytelling. The book flows seamlessly and the author did a fantastic job with character development and world building making this a story I couldn't put down. The cliff hanger ending left me anxious for the next book. This was an entertaining read and I would highly recommend it to lovers of paranormal RH romance. The audiobook version was narrated by Gabriel Thorne and Lia Holland. They continue to do a wonderful job with the narration making the story exciting and enjoyable. They really brought the story to life and it was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel. The Flock.
Kayla and Creed are just becoming comfortable with their mating bond and Doc has been accepted as a third but Creeds complex relationship with Rhys is still a problem as his loyalties are very much divided. The Quint arrives to help and works quickly to discover where Creeds sister is being held so they can plan a rescue and Callie still searches for Riley. More information comes to light about the plotting in the Human Realm. Good read but there is a lot of graphic sex so if that will offend, don't read this series.
Wow! This is a complex, heartfelt and riveting piece of the Fae universe!
The characters are so well written that I can’t stop rooting for Creed and Kayla, and their growing quartet of mates! There are some reversals of fortune, some nearly fatal injuries and some passionate moments that are creating a new and powerful ally; woe to those who have wronged Prince Creed and Princess Nakalah!
This book was so good, I couldn't out it down! Keyla over came her shyness very fast. Having two mates I think kinda did that to her. Then add in Ry and we shall see what happens next lol. I loved how Creed came around and wasn't as brody as he was when we first met him. I can't wait to read more.
I need to know who the 5th mate is!!! Lots happened in this book and after a bit of angst, the quad is in a good spot. A bit of an abrupt end but it was at a good stopping point.
I loved the first five. Called and her guys quint. I'm loving Keyla's story also. I can't wait for more. I'm also loving this world and the continuity not just cameos. It's a big part of my reasons and waiting on get edge for the next book.
This is a great continuation to this great series. Lots of drama and some great events happening in both realms. If you don't like hot MMFM, MM, MF sex then don't read this book/series. I can't wait to get onto the next book.
This author is incredible her writing off the charts
I love this book I love the series' because of it I bought every book that she's ever written trust me it's definitely a five star series read it you won't be disappointed
This was another great addition to the series. I get excited when another book drops since I was hooked from the first time I read about Calli. Can’t wait for more!!
