What’s a girl to do when there’s no revenge to be had? Hey b*tches, my name’s Kiera. You might know me as The Cat, infamous cat burglar/thief. No? Well, let me give you a little insight into my life over the last year and a half. I was going about, doing my own thing when my entire life got flipped upside down. Alongside my little assassin, we were able to help The Aces MC with a little problem with a rival MC. Easy peasy, right? Wrong. Somehow though, I found myself falling for the club’s president, his suspicious enforcer, and the VP… who just so happens to also be my asshole stepbrother. The Alloy Kings MC didn’t stand a chance but they weren’t alone. Backed by my bastard father and his mob of minions, we had a hell of a fight. Sound like fun to you? Ha, yeah, I didn’t think so. But in the end, we came out mostly unscathed. Six months later, I finally decided that was enough laying low. But I find myself surrounded by rumors, and I can’t let them lie when there’s so much to lose now. Can we figure out who's watching us before it’s too late, or will we end up getting blindsided? But I’m not the thief who became famous at 15 years old and survived the mob’s hell in my past just to lay down and get surprised in my own damned house. Again. Those f*ckers won’t know what hit them. I’m The Cat, and soon enough, they’ll learn that this is just the beginning. Book 1 of The Cat’s Series The Cat’s Crew Series is a second trilogy following Kiera and her men. It is highly recommended to read The Aces Series before this series. Both series are a WhyChoose/Reverse Harem trilogy featuring MMFMM meaning the female main character doesn't have to choose between her love interests. Please note, some scenes may contain M/M contact. This book contains references involving PTSD, sexual assault recollections, abuse, and other themes that some readers may find triggering.

** Fan Girl Screaming** I cant tell you how bloody happy i was to get my mits on Kiera and her guys first book in their 2nd series. Ill be honest though and i was a bit nervous that it wouldnt be as good as the first series but i neednt have worried because it was just as brilliant. I wish i could have given this book more than 5 stars
With plenty of wit and sarcasm Kiera takes everything that happens in this book in her stride. The guys add to that with plenty of laughs and steam too as this bunch of mismatched misfits go on the run when things get difficult for them. Landing with The Undertakers whose Pres is friends with Chase. Im dying to read more about all of them?? Anyway this book was just killer and if this is a taste of whats to come in the other 2 books then hell yeah count me in. Loved It!!!
I need book two like now. Better yesterday. WTF. THAT ENDING!!!!
Okay so I’m gonna say two things. I’m almost positive I know who Demon is but are we sure because Jace was introduced as Demon but so was one of the undertakers.
Plot twist. If it’s Jace then what happened when Val took him? Ughhhhhh
I hate that slimy pezzo di merda so freaking much.
Ughh okay what about the plot twist with Emily though?
I loved it. They both need that yk? They’ve lost so much already.
For the record I’ve always hated anybody with the name Anthony. Wonder how this reunion is going to go especially with the wife.
Again I just need book two already. I absolutely love your books from what I’ve read so far they’re amazing and I can’t wait to see how the story continues and concludes.
I’ve been through this series since the beginning and it’s like coming home to friends. Keira and her men are back and ready for round 2 of all the shenanigans!
Plus you guys this book is hot and I’m so happy to have my baby boy Garrett back! Ask AJ he is mine I claimed his long ago and I have digital proof! 😂
There are so many twist and turns and new discoveries that will leave you staring at wall like “Well okay, that happened”. But they are so worth it for the words and love and steam!!!! Whew!
I can’t wait to see where AJ takes my favorite thief and her leather wearing boyband next!!!
Ever read a book series that had three amazing books and then the author is like I’m doing a continuation…well that’s this beast. So of course since I loved the first three I was apprehensive. Is it going to be good, how will the character development work, will it be soap operay…these are legitimate fears as a reader. So I sat on it a few days and man I wish I had just dived in. This had all the high octane you would expect from Kiera and the guys. This book had so much happens, that ending was like what the actual heck. I can’t wait for more from Kiera and crew.
Kiera, Kiera, how I have missed you. We get more Chase/Cair in this round, which I loved. AJ wrote another wonderful story with twist and dips, you don’t see coming…. The action is great and not over the top, which I appreciate. The story is fast paced and we meet more side characters that I can’t wait to see more of. The ‘villain’ is someone I didn’t see coming, so I can’t WAIT to see how that pans out.
It’s always a pleasure to sit down and enjoy a AJ Macey book
Rumors is book one in the Cat’s Crew series, however, it is a continuation of Kiera’s story from The Aces Series, so I would highly recommend reading those three books before this one.
I tried to stay in the moment and savor every minute of this book. It is as wonderful as I expected - a sublime blend of subtle humor, breathtaking romance, seriously sexy writing and real emotional depth with a complex, well-conceived plot and unforgettable, compelling characters.
This is definitely an unforgettable storyline that continuously has your heartbreaking and warming at the same time. We are taken on what can really only be described as a rollercoaster which leaves us breathless at the end with the number of ups, downs, twists, and turns that happen throughout. The secrets revealed leave you unable to hide any facial expressions and often shouting out loud.
I love Chase/ Ciar! More of his past is gradually revealed through the thoughtful use of flashbacks, and they’re the perfect length to keep the reader clamoring for more information and engrossed in the story. They’re insightful and give his character tremendous depth.
And I’m pretty sure that I’ll never get over how I fell in love with the Aces: Brooks, Stone and Garrett, and their very mysterious ways. All so different but with one thing in common, they protect what they love; and there isn’t a thing they wouldn’t do for Kiera. And what a woman she is! The type to jump when everyone else bolts. She’s bold, brave, beautiful, damaged, funny and courageous!!!
The side characters are also awesome (I love Elliott)!
I believe it’s obvious I adored Rumors. It’s everything I have come to expect and love about AJ Macey’s work.
*Spoiler* This book contains triggering content such as PTSD, mention of sexual assault and abuse.

The Cat is back... with a BANG. I so wasn’t prepared for this. It was high steam, funny, heartbreaking, shocking and I loved every minute of it. I think Kiera and her guys once again proved they are a perfect match. We got to see a lot more of Ciar and I can’t decide who I love more - him or Chase? I’m also happy that Kiera is finally opening up a bit and letting people get close to her. I can honestly say that if she and all of her girlfriends get together one day, nobody will be prepared for the mayhem they will cause and I can’t wait for it. Oh and I can’t forget to mention Elliot. I love him more everyday and I’m kind of sad he won’t be part of Kiera’s harem. Even though she needs friends as well. Diving back into Kiera’s world made me realize how much I love her and her crew. The book is set 6 months after Enemy. Things are calm, maybe too calm and we get to see Kiera and her men happy. But it doesn’t take long for someone from their past knocking on their door and bringing chaos with them. The crew has a hard decision to make and they leave the city behind to regroup. Because of this we learn more about Chase/Ciar and Stone as well. We get to meet a lot of new characters and I hope we haven’t seen the last of them. Kiera also finds out vital information about her family and I’m really happy for her. I know she has her guys and Abby, but I think this might help her heal. Along with her new friend who has a very similar past to hers. I’m a bit afraid of who Anthony will call to help but I think I have a pretty good idea - unfortunately. I just hope Val will come unharmed out of this, because I was fond of him in Enemy.
Oh how I loved being back with Keira and her boys!! Plus we got to meet another fun criminal group (The Undertakers) and there’s plenty of interesting and sexy characters there to be explored. This book was a perfect blend of romance, plot, sex, action, and twists. I loved how things developed between Keira and Ventry. I didn’t expect that but it’s spot on for the story. The guys are great as usual, but I’ve got to admit that what really made this book was having more Ciar time and more time specifically between Stone and Keira. Keira is initially struggling with feeling aimless and unsure of what to do after the conclusion of the first trilogy since her father and his empire is dead and gone (oh and I’m also dying for books about The Royals). Things progress quickly and it’s clear that Keira isn’t going to be bored or looking for purpose much longer! What is great is that what’s going on in her present is tied to actions that Keira took in the past, and it just gets better and better.
Kiera and her men are back!! This book picks up 6 months after Enemy ended with Kiera adjusting to life without her revenge plan. “What’s a girl to do when there’s no revenge or be had?” Well Kiera finds out soon enough that there’s plenty to do, like get an unexpected drop in from Agent Ventry, have her move in, go on the run, learn you have a half sister, be threatened by the FBI, and then go on the run again.
They got six months of peace but now all hell is breaking loose. Where will they end up next? I guess only Elliott knows since he’s along for the ride too.
I love Kiera. She’s such a badass and her inner monologue is so damn funny. I love the friendship her and Emily (Ventry) are building and that she let Briar in too. The addition of The Undertakers I hope isn’t just a one off.
And they’re back! I've been waiting for this and she did it again.
In this book, we learn more about Chase/Ciar and I have a feeling their story isn’t over yet. That same goes for Stone and it explains more and more about how he became the man he is now, even while it was explained in the last series. It just fits that he’s opening up more without saying anything. It’s steamy, spicy and you can feel the love for each other dripping of the pages. Although it was pretty low in action (compared to the first series), I think it’s a perfect build up to the next book. I’ll be waiting patiently for that. Or not and I’ll keep rereading everything.
Oh well. The Cat and the Aces are back and I’m curious what will happen next. 5 stars, because you know, it’s the Queen 🤷🏻♀️
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for the first book of this new series! I fell in love with Kiera and her men in The Aces trilogy, so obviously, I'm going to love this one too! 6 months later, it feels like no time has passed. A.J. did great with the transition, and this read as the previous series as well. It has the heat, familiar characters, and surprising allies I didn't expect or see coming until they were in my face. This book kept me on my toes, and I couldn't put it down until I finished it, and then was disappointed because I finished it and now I have to wait.
Umm what about book 2?! I searched high and low and it says it’s Secrets but no release date or anything…
Kiera- you’d think saying “yes” to get married she’d learn how to communicate with them… she talks more to Elliot and Abby than her fiancés. Also- Emily came out of left field and that plot twist Love Chase/Ciar. Honestly every girl needs one of him. It’s so genuine and real, soulmates Garrett- still a douche canoe. Man you’d think he’d get the stick out of his ass he’s engaged to her!! Brooks- yummy! Sexy Pres who calls her Baby, sign me up. Stone- at least he’s real!
The Cat is back! Kiera is back on some new non-stop adventures. Multiple people from the past rolls back into the Aces and Kieras life and new information starts coming to light. Whats the next big task for our group to tackle? Kicking a** and taking names of course.
Lots of steam in the beginning helps tide you over when things start to get crazy later in the book. ;).
I can't wait to see where our group is heading and what mischief they get up to and the bad guys they'll slay.
Kiera and her men are back! This is start of the second series for Keira and it is everything I could have wanted. Kiera’s sassy inner monologues always have me laughing out loud. This book brought back some my favorite characters and introduced new ones that you just want to know more about. Filled with twists, turns and big baddie you can’t wait to see dealt with. I’m already itching for the next book!
I was so excited when it was announced that Kiera and the men's story would continue, and A.J did not disappoint.
We are taken back into Kiera's life just months after the final book in the Ace's trilogy. It's nice to see what the crew has been up to and to fall in love with her men all over again. In true Kiera fashion life can't stand still for too long and A.J. throws into the new storyline and we hit the ground running.
I loved the original trilogy and was so excited that we get of The Cat and Crew. 6 months - that's all the peace and rest they got. Now the crew is one the run with some surprising additions and a new/old enemy. The intrigue was spot on. I love the relationships between them all and how they've developed and I can't wait to see what happens next.
YES!!! Cat and her crew are back. I loved the first Aces trilogy and SO excited for the next instalment. *Is this an awesome read by the author - YES *Is this everything you expect from Cat and her crew - Hell YES *Is there action, mystery and awesomeness - YES *Should you read this - most definitely - YES.
Man it sure was good revisiting old friends! Cat is back and going stir crazy from having laid low six months. She sure is wishing she wasn’t because man oh man she goes none stop afterwards. Lots of questions and things that make you go hmmmm. I’m so curious to see what the director is doing and how come he omitted knowing his former soldier.
Kiera "The Cat" Casterelli got her revenge and just wanted to relax with her guys and figure out what to do with her life. Totally relatable. But what do you do when life doesn't give you the option to sit back? AJ Macey has done a terrific job as always keeping the reader in suspense in a book filled with action, romance, and plenty of snark. Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride.
I really enjoyed Deviants & Doves #1, I'm not sure what's so different about this one. But I didn't care for it as much. I don't remember a lot of the characters. Who's Reynolds? Demon? Elliot? Cyrus? I don't remember any of these people.
The plot twist with Emily's identity was *chef's kiss*. I might have to do a reread to see if I can catch up with these characters.
I really enjoyed this book. Life has been quiet since the last book ended. It was nice to see how the relationship between Keira and her guys has grown since the last book. I enjoyed the developing friendships with Emily and Briar. Keira can use more women in her life. The pacing was good. Plenty of steam. I can’t wait for the next book.
Amazing!! I love Kiera and her gang of criminals! I love their relationship and how bad@$$ she is. The bomb that you dropped about a certain agent was gold!! And how you looped in Stones past with his current… man this was amazing. Cannot wait until book 2
YES;!!!! Oh my lanta this is one wicked ride I freaking loved the Aces trilogy and The Cat is one of my fav characters I'm so ducking happy to get more of her! This is a well written and thrilling read!!!!! Thank you for coming back to these amazing characters!!!
Such a great start to the new series of Cat and her crew. Loved the new characters, return of familiar faces and the crew of course. Lots of steam, character development and an interesting new storyline. Loved the twists.
Fantastic return to the Cat's Crew, with all of our favourite characters from the original Aces series and a bunch of interesting new ones. Genuinely excited to follow this new plot 👐
I'm here from the OG Cat. Let me tell you, this series is one of my faves. Hot guys, strong woman, put your hands together! I love these characters and I love that their story is continuing!
I was waiting on this book since falling into the aces trilogy and I will tell you now this did not disappoint! Gah I really wasn't ready for the book to end but I'm holding on for more. Can't get enough of the cat and her men
Loved it, back with the Cat and the Aces and of course Chase/Ciar. A fantastic and surprising twist in the story, that I did not see coming. The ending isn't so much a cliffhanger and more of a mystery.
Keira and her guys are caught up in more fun, new friends and old friends, with the funny as hell sassy/sarcastic internal remarks from Keira.
I cannot wait to read the next one. I devoured this story.
