Book three in the Dirty Wild trilogy that began with Wild Rebel.

Secrets, surprises, and second chances.

This trip down memory lane with Jolie has mended as much as it’s torn up.

I promised her I could handle anything. Whatever she was hiding, my wild heart would always belong to her.

But I could never have imagined this truth.

And she can’t blame me for how this will all end.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 by Laurelin Paige is part two of the 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 where we find out more answers about Cade and Jolie’s relationship from 17 years ago. We slowly discover clues as to why Jolie decided not to meet up with Cade that day.

Throughout the series you realize Jolie is keeping a secret. It was quite predictable and I actually had the inclination this may have occurred in book one.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹 focused on the present while 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 went back and forth between the past and the present. I HATE this in novels. I’m sorry and feel bad saying this but I kind of despised this book. Laurelin Page has written a favorite series of mine (Slay), however this series and the second book specifically irked by nerves. The past/present thing is a pet peeve of mine and so is another aspect of this book. Having two pet peeves, and a mean heroine was just aggravating.

Jolie is a terrible person, and I can’t see myself ever forgiving her in the end of this series, but we’ll see. Cade is much nicer and forgiving than I would be.

The book focuses mainly on the past. We are only briefly in the present. We’re transported to the beginning. How Jolie and Cade met, how their dynamic used to be, how they grew to become lovers.

Cade and Jolie share a painful past which was described in book two. Every detail was explained, however I personally wanted something different out of this book. I couldn’t connect with Jolie and Cade in this book as there wasn’t a focus on their love. It was more about events that occurred to both of them. Hey, I’m not the author and I respect everyone’s right to tell a story how they prefer however for me, this wasn’t one that I enjoyed.

Reading this left me with feelings of unfairness, hatred towards the heroine and felt it was dragged on for what the plot was about. I feel that two books would have been more than enough for these two.

I am so grateful to have received an ARC and am leaving my review voluntarily.

This woman is magic

The final instalment in Cade and Jolie’s trilogy is epically amazing! She has brought us full circle with her word wizardry and I never thought I’d say this but Cade and Jolie may just be my favorite power couple of them all!

Out of the ashes ….

From a torturous and tumultuous past Jolie forged forward with Cade to carve a future. Once I started this instalment, I couldn’t stop reading. It was uplifting and enthralling and so darn swoony that I thought my heart would burst. The amount of love and hope infused in the narrative was palpable and I felt every word.

I don’t have any other words for you except go do the thing. Do the thing for all the couples in this world because they are all epic love stories you will remember forever! #trust

✨ DENISE’S DREAMY REVIEW ✨

OH. MY. GOSH. OH. MY. GOOOOOSH!!!!!

“The cage door was open and this bird was finally free.”

What a WILD ride to get to this statement.

Man oh man, if only… IF ONLY I could tell you everything I felt while reading this book, I couldn’t be able to put it all into words! Laurelin has yet again, rendered me utterly speeches. Cade Warren has my little heart! She made me want SO MUCH after the cliffhanger of Wild War and she delivered IN SPADES.

Paige has taken us on the most wildest ride and made me think SO many things and feel SO MUCH MORE than I could have ever. She has such a way of making you second guess yourself, but then having you fully understand when all is revealed!

This book was not a disappointment at all, it was the sweetest ending to Cade and Jollie! Even though Paige make me work for it by handing on WORD BY WORD, it was worth the ride. She has such an incredible way of weaving words, telling a story, and bringing it full circle! I couldn’t be more engulfed by this second chance romance with a tortured hero and a heroine holding so many secrets!

You need to meet Cade and Jollie, you need to experience their love, and you need to experience THIS AUTHOR.

You won’t at all be disappointed, trust me! I can’t wait for MORE and what’s to come! 😉

Cade and Jolie’s story has been a rollercoaster. Secrets were coming to light left to right and that continues throughout Wild Heart.

There is so much love, emotion, and pain between Cade and Jolie, yet now that they both have a second chance with each other they don’t want to let go. The truths are slowly coming to light and they could potentially be truths that destroy everything between them.

Jolie’s strength is admirable. After everything she experienced she continued to fight. It is hard not to absolutely love her. Cade is protective and caring. They way he loves Jolie is beautiful.

I LOVED everything about Cade and Jolie. I loved this story and they both got everything they truly deserved and so much more. There was steam, there was love, there was passion and there was suspense all mixed in perfectly.

The trilogy as a whole was fantastic. From the first page of book one to the final page of book three Cade and Jolie’s relationship is addicting.

If you’re looking for a second chance romance with some suspense this book and the entire trilogy is one to check out.

4.5 stars. After the end of Wild War, I knew Laurelin Paige was not done with surprises and she definitely delivered. While Cade's POV represents the majority of this story, there is still plenty of parts that Jolie's voice takes over. However, Jolie was always portrayed as the one who hurt Cade by abandoning him and moving on with her life, until she needed his help with a very specific task. Cade wasn't blameless, but it seemed that Jolie couldn't be trusted no matter how much she tried to prove it. Yet, from the flashbacks, I knew there was something else wrong and wondered about it more than once. Like Cade, I also dismissed it because it was too horrifying to imagine as true, so to discover that it was accurate became a new level of heartbreak and devastation that paints Jolie in a different light - one of strength and survivor and someone who shouldn't have to suffer a minute more. All these realizations come crashing down on Cade and it's too much for him to process rationally because the consequences of all of those actions have serious repercussions, which affect him, too. Cade and Jolie reuniting was a long time coming and although it took years and a specific event to orchestrate it, there was no chance of either of them being happy separately. This was a page turner mixed with angst, heartache, suffering, emotion and justice, but the ending suited them perfectly with all the feels. And did I mention that Donovan Kincaid gets plenty of cameo time? Imagine my excitement to finding out that there’s still more of the Dirty universe coming next year featuring my favorite character.

Wild Heart (Dirty Wild Book #3) Cade & Jolie's story
Laurelin Paige took me on a complete gambit of emotions throughout this trilogy. Physical abuse, heartbreak, manipulation, devastation, true love, forgiveness equals perfection! I loved this trilogy!! Intricate plot woven just right to deal out the highest highs and lowest lows. I instantly loved Jolie's character. I just wanted to hug her and get her back into Cade's arms. Cade was the perfect hero. Strong and supportive even though he had been through his own hell. Cade also had enough alpha to make the steamy scenes unforgettable!! Definite must read. Perfect ending to an amazing, emotional trilogy!!

I was left speechless.
I cant even find the perfect word to describe what Laurelin has make me feel with Jollie and Cade's journey.

Truly, i just love their journey. All the broken heart. All the love. All the hurt. All the hope. All the tears, fear, anger.

Laurelin twist my heart in many different ways, i could only hold on to my phone with every word she wrote and try not get heart attack while at it.

Seriously! Love the ending for Jollie and Cade.
Wish Stark and Carla got worse than they get at the end.
But this book is more than both of them. İts more than Jollie and Cade's initial plan of revenge either.

This book is about how they finally find the peace in them self together. Not to forget about the past. Not to bury and be numb anymore. But to keep living with their wild free heart.

And love Tate to pieces! He is just adorably cute!

Wild Heart by Laurelin Paige was an absolutely heartbreaking story that delivers so much healing emotions and sweet angst with heavy dose of steam and suspense. In true Laurelin Paige style, the author hooked me to the story and took me on an emotional rollercoaster.

Wild Heart brings the epic conclusion of Cade and Jolie's love story. They endured so much. And now it's time for their revenge. Also..now is the time to unite their broken hearts. But so many secrets are between them. The secrets keep on coming out and hurting them. Will they finally be free? Jolie's father (and Cade's stepfather) has to pay for his crimes. And the way he kept them apart with manipulations, torture and abuse will be over.

I didn't think I could love Jolie and Cade anymore but I did. They are the definition of Starcrossed lovers. They started as a forbidden love story and I went through every tragic heartaching second. And now this is their second chance. Jolie is an amazing woman. She survived so much darkness and came out strong. I adore her. And oh Cade. This man really cannot be any more perfect. If you want an alpha hero who will burn down the world for his love, Cade Warren is it! He also went through so much darkness and he still managed to stay resilient and protective. Jolie has suppressed so much horror deep in her heart and coming back to her childhood home triggered her but Cade was there for her. Together they got their scattered pieces together. Their connection didn't reduce in intensity at all over the years. Like their physical connection.

Wild Heart by Laurelin Paige is the ultimate romance with powerful writing, captivating characters and soul deep feels.

This book had a lots of twist and turns just when you thought you figured it out then another turn and when it finally hit you, you hated Jolie's father even more. Stark robbed them of so much but that is how predators manipulate your mind make you think its all your fault when its their sick minds. Stark Jolie's father got what he deserved and Cade & Jolie loved that they were in no rush they just wanted to enjoyed the time with their new found family to travel the world together. It was awesome to see all the old characters and their wives Donavan-Sabrina & Weston-Elizabeth. Lets not forget the bet Donavan and Cade had about the tattoo Cade would get if Cade couldn't hold off with his childhood love. Jolie, Tate & Devyn HEA

I had the pleasure of reading this book and I feel like I'm so happy with Cade aka our tortured hero's ending.
*spoiler warning*

🌼Summary: Cade and Jolie are set out to kill Stark. As like last two books, this one revealed new secrets and you as reader are left with shock at times but the ending makes up for that because it's beautiful.

🌼Reading about Cade and Jolie's past I only wanted them to have a hea after everything they have suffered and I'm glad the way Paige wrote that.

Hero rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved him. He's one of the least problematic male heroes I have read. He's full of love and understanding towards Jolie since book 1 it's so beautiful. And later on his attitude towards Tate even when he didn't knew he was his.

Heroine rating - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved how strong she was. The way she fought for Tate and how she loves Cade.

Hea- ✅

Do I recommend it - Yes it's a great book however read first two books too. Great cliffhangers + writing.

"I want you, Cade. All of you. I won't give you up this time."

It's crazy to think that a couple of days ago, I was reading a Laurelin Paige story that was so cute and so romantic, and so light-hearted and funny, I cried at how adorable it was. Now, I've just finished this Laurelin Paige story that was so filthy and a bit disturbing, and so suspenseful and shocking that it kept my heart racing just dying to know what would happen next, and not even my weighted blanket could keep my growing anxiety at the unknown at bay. And if that doesn't go to show the talent that this woman has - to have me feeling all those emotions for two different stories in two different series in less than a week - then I don't know what does. And that is why I love her.

But damn, I wish I'd read that light-hearted romance after I devoured this conclusion, because woah. What a heavy and hard and heart-achingly beautiful (yes, beautiful) read this story was. It's a story that broke my heart, shattered my soul, and kept my throat locked up with emotion. It's a story I devoured in near enough one sitting, and it's a story that, weeks later, is still playing on my mind.

Told in dual POV between Cade and Jolie, and with past/present chapters - more present than past this time - this conclusion picks up basically where Wild War left off, and almost instantly, chaos and confusion ensue. One of Jolie's many secrets is revealed, and Cade is shocked, hurt, and angry that such a secret was kept from him. But those emotions only ever become more devastating when he learns why he wasn't in the know about this. Yet this only motivates Cade to want to take down Jolie's father, Langdon Stark for good more, especially when he soon learns that yet another student of Stark Academy has recently gone missing, in the same way the previous students have over the last 20 years. But this time, there's a witness present to (hopefully) give Cade some answers.

For Jolie though, with her secrets slowly coming to light and her lies being revealed, she's now ready to come clean about everything that has happened over not just the last seventeen years when both she and Cade had been separated, but her entire life. Pre-Cade. With-Cade. Post-Cade. And now.

She just hopes that when she comes clean about everything - and if she has her way, this will be after her father is finally brought down - Cade won't turn her away.

We'd both been locked up too long.
We both deserved to fly away. Together, this time.

Now, I was very nervous to dive into this conclusion as, A) Wild War didn't live up to my (very high) expectations, and I was worried that Wild Heart would be the same. B) I wasn't sure if I was ready to finally get the answers to the many questions I still had from Wild Rebel and Wild War. Questions like: why does Jolie want her father brought down now, after all these years? Why did she not leave with Cade seventeen years ago? Why did she keep that secret that was dropped at the end of Wild War from Cade? What's happening with the missing kids; will Langdon Stark finally be stopped? Will Cade and Jolie's plan work? And most importantly, how will they finally get to their HEA?

And C) I was nervous because I knew, just like Wild Rebel and Wild War, Wild Heart would not be an easy romance to read, and surprise surprise... it wasn't. Tough subjects are touched on, and even tougher truths are brought to light; some were easy to guess yet left me going out of my damn mind regardless, whilst others disturbed me enough to leave me having to take a moment to process what I'd just read, cry a little at how heart-breaking that was, before diving back on in to finish this story.

So far, this trilogy has been emotionally draining to read. It's pushed me out of my comfort zone yet continues to lure me back in to keep on reading, because Laurelin just has that way with words to make me desperate to know what would happen next. But I can hand on heart say that all that heartbreak and heartache that I experienced whilst reading this novel...was totally worth it.

Laurelin took me on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of a journey with this trilogy, and even though many times I was left thinking that this ride would go off the rails and crash and burn and leave me shattered, she got me to the end safely and with my heart full of love and happiness for Cade and Jolie. Because after everything they've been through over the course of this trilogy - especially the challenges both faced here in Wild Heart - no one deserves happiness more than they do. Especially Jolie. Slowly over the course of this trilogy, she's captured my heart more and more the more it is I got to know her. But after reading Wild Heart and seeing all that she'd been through... She now owns my heart, entirely. And I'm so glad that Laurelin wrote this ending for Jolie and Cade the way she did.

"I don't deserve you."
"You better fucking try. Because I'm not letting you go again, whether you want me or not."

I will say, though, that I did find that the climax of this novel wasn't as climactic as I'd hoped it'd be, and the characters weren't as gripping to me here like they were in Wild Rebel and Wild War, so that's why I've shaved off a star from my final rating. But that's the only flaw I found in Wild Heart.

Other than that, Laurelin truly nailed it with this conclusion for Cade and Jolie. The heaviness to the story was perfectly balanced out with some much-needed lightness, and when I wasn't holding my breath dreading what secret of Jolie's would come out next, I was laughing my head off at the funny moments that Donovan, of all people, brought to the story. And when I wasn't wanting to cry because those hurdles between Cade and Jolie and their happy ever after just felt like they were never ending, I was squealing with giddiness when finally, finally, those hurdles had an end in sight.

And that epilogue? It warmed my heart to read, because I just needed to see that for Cade and Jolie, and the rest of the gang at Reach Inc. now that this Dirty Universe has come to an end... Or has it?

All I'll say now is, if you've loved this trilogy from the start and have enjoyed every moment that Laurelin has delivered for Cade and Jolie, then I have no doubt that you'll love this ending. But if, like me, you've had mixed feelings from the start, then all I'll say is this: how you feel about this book is all up to you. But just know that every question you have will be answered, and with no stone left unturned. And I feel that by the time you reach the very last page of Wild Heart... You will be satisfied with how Cade and Jolie's story has come to a close. Truly, it was perfect for them, and I'm now so excited - especially after that ending (!!!!!!!) - to see what it is Laurelin delivers next.

I thought the first two books were okay - skim read some of the parts - but the third was really good. Less of a romance book, more of a tear jerker. Everything finally comes together in a HEA.

Spoilers:
1st book- we find out that Cade and Jolie are step brother/ sister at the end
2nd book - we find out that Jolie has a son, Tate (17) but he is apparently not Cades
3rd book - we find out Tate is Cades, the dad was raping Jolie since she was 13 but had a vasectomy. He forged paternity tests to make her stay, also promising not to hurt Cade.

Wild Heart
(Dirty Wild #3)
Written by: Laurelin Paige

Wild Wonderful! Laurelin Paige gave us a couple to embrace, feel their pain and love their adventure.

From book one in the Wild series I had this feeling that the ride we were starting would be different than the rest of the men that were a part of Reach.

Different it was, it grabbed you from the very first line in book one and didn’t let you go until the very last line in this book. Cade and Joli have moved right into a solid spot in my list of couples who lived lives that they never should have yet managed to break free and become survivors who learned to live, not to wallow.

Every emotion that one could have showed up in this book (series) and when little hints started seeping from pages, making way into my head I was there backing them in whatever they planned! Names from other books lead me in a direction that solidified what I had already thought they were working towards.

Wild Heart was like being in a maze, you're part way there but then there are things you still need to figure out. As lies get unpacked, as secrets get told as history unfolds the one thing we readers know is even 17 years later, hearts can heal.

Was this a Dirty, Filthy, Wild ride? Hell yes! Can we live without Laurelin’s Dirty, Filthy, Wild world? Hmmm probably not! Will we get to spend more time with the men of Reach and their strong women………

Thank you Laurelin Paige for mixing worlds and giving your readers a book that makes us smile, makes us scream, makes us cry and makes us glad every time we pick up one of your books.

What a finale to the Dirty Wild series. Getting Cades story in the Dirty Universe Series was one we all wanted. We had been teased with this mysterious character none new much about, so naturally we wanted his story.

Wow what a story we had. This was the ultimate finale so much went down during this third instalment, I just couldn’t put it down.

Revelations, twists and turns galore, fantastic. Some quite heartbreaking moments when secrets are revealed and the implications of those actions.

Cade and Jolie deserved to get their HEA, no matter what it took, and it took so much.

Laurelin just never lets us down. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us with Kincaid, we always want more of Donovan.

Stop the bus! Stop the world! Stop the clocks! Wild Heart is finally in my clutches and I needed it.

Time to solve the clues, get the final answers and put the demons to bed.

Oh my word Laurelin, my little heart couldn’t take the pain, I needed some rainbows and butterflies in the final chapter of this absolutely outstanding series of books. No spoilers here but I’m floating on a cloud of fairy dust, eating calorie free pizza and chocolate cake (sorry, this diet is really screwing up my thoughts),

Cade Warren, man of mystery, man who had a shit hand dealt to him but flipping Nora, he’s the most amazing human being. He’s just perfect. What a hero. I’m actually standing up and clapping, doing my own personal Mexican wave in awe of Cade. Whoop whoop.

It’s hard to just comment on the final book of a series without giving the game away for those who are contemplating whether to read the first book and invest in the series. Laurelin Paige pulls no punches. Some things are hard to read. The world needs men like Cade Warren.

It’s a fabulously well written series with secrets you can solve, some surprises and enduring love.

TORTUROUS & SATISFYING PATH TO REVENGE AND RECONCILED LOVE *4.5 stars*

“There were just so many elephants in between us.”

The truth is that revenge isn't just a dish best served cold ... it can be served any damn way you want it.
I love to fall in love with love, and I really love to fall in love with a couple madly in love. And that most definitely is Cade and Jolie in the final book of the Dirty Wild Trilogy. This series embraces pure Laurelin Paige as she gives us “Hot alphas. Smart Women. Sexy Stories.” Just as promised. I’ve had rabid interest in this series from the start and have been a fan since The Fixed Trilogy, one of my top two, all-time faves. The previous cliffhangers left my mouth hanging open, and there were more details with each one to seriously spin my mind around and change story direction. Revenge against Jolie’s father was on the table in the last book, and I’ve been on pins and needles dying to know how it would play out. That man is so vile there aren’t words for it. Never fear. You won’t be disappointed.

That said, the finale was so much more than revenge and justice for love lost and found between Cade and Jolie after their 17 year estrangement. Not to mention that crazy surprise reveal from Jolie in the previous book. Hmmmm. My mind was already freaking out about what THAT meant for the lovers. Just when their love was making a fragile comeback, there were more secrets to uncover. What is Jolie still withholding from Cade, and can they pull off a dangerous scheme against her father? I had my doubts about the mission of revenge and justice against their long-time oppressor because that guy is as slippery as an eel, and the couple can only trust each other. They’ve barely opened up to the second chance at being a couple when the revenge plan is ready-set-go.

The sexy times were swoony, the reunited love long overdue for this Dirty Universe boy, and the tension had me a wreck as the couple was finally back in that house of horrors again with Cade’s mom (she’s another mystery) to set the stage for their risky plan. All that tension goes down over a mere weekend, but I aged 20 years waiting for the end. Not only do Cade and Jolie still have alot to work out in their uncertain relationship, but lingering secrets are like a ticking time bomb, and I didn’t trust her dad one iota. I wanted to scream for them to get the hell out of there so many times!

You won’t be disappointed in what transpires
, but I'm much more vengeful at heart than Cade and Jolie. A character was deserving of much more payback and justice than received, and got off too easy for my taste, but the conclusion for this long-suffering couple made up for it.

Cade was a hot, sexy beast of a fierce protector, and his story was a great cap-off to the wildly different men in LP’s Dirty Universe all finding happiness with the women they love. His quote below pays homage to just how good their love stories are:

“When all we had of the women we loved were wild memories and deep regrets. That wasn’t us anymore.”

Amazon / Apple Books / Kobo / Nook / Google Play

Secrets are finally revealed and now Cade and Jolie are left to process, especially Cade. What he finds out rocks his world. Now how he reacts will determine whether his and Jolie's second chance will be a permanent one or not.

Jolie's a survivor, God is she. I admit to being really upset with her in Wild Rebel - she seemed so, I don't know, cold maybe? Whatever the word, I wasn't thrilled with her. But now, now I understand her, understand her behavior and why she is the way she is, and I admire her. She's so strong, and dare I say, amazing and I can see what Cade has always seen in her. Cade finally let himself be a little vulnerable, took off his unreadable mask he'd been wearing throughout most of this trilogy, and I found myself falling for him. He was still alpha protective, but his big heart showed through and finally made him seem like a more complete character rather than just this stoic but damaged alpha he came across as at first.

I loved this trilogy - it was a serious rollercoaster, running the gamut of emotions from pain and betrayal to love and joy and everything in between. Jolie and Cade went through so much, both when they were young and in the blush of first love, through the years of separation, to their reunion and all the uncovered revelations and secrets. Whew. It was a lot, but I wouldn't have had it any other way, and I am going to seriously miss this reunited couple. I cannot wait for more of the Dirty Universe now.

WOW, just WOW. There were so many secrets revealed in this book and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading. Things pick up exactly where Wild War ended with Cade discovering another secret Jolie was hiding. I felt every emotion that Cade was feeling at the time because Laurelin Paige describes them so perfectly. At times I hated Jolie but I understood why she did everything that she did. This book finally revealed what I've suspected since book one which is that Jolie's father was sexually abusing her on top of the physical and mental abuse. She has gone through so much and yet she's still standing and still fighting to protect those she loves. Cade has been in love with Jolie since they were teens and he has never stopped loving her and learning about the stuff she went through before he came along and after he left nearly broke him. When Cade found out the big secret, the one that Jolie was ashamed of the most, he nearly made a fatal mistake but was saved by an unlikely person. I was glad that Leroy and Edward Fasbender were mentioned, and that they were still doing good work helping those in need. Cade and Jolie deserved to be together because they went through hell and their love never stopped. I loved how in the end they finally talked about everything and put it all behind them to have the life that they should have had together. I loved how they all sat down and made plans for their future and just went off the grid. The epilogue was wonderful, to have three of the five couples together to celebrate life and new beginnings was sweet.

5 Star Review of Wild Heart (Dirty Wild #3) by Laurelin Paige

Wild Heart is the conclusion to Cade and Jolie’s journey and was certainly darker than the previous books in this series. It was everything I was hoping for and so much more. After the cliff hanger ending of the previous book, I couldn’t wait to dive in and see what she had in store for these two. This series has not been for the faint of heart, there are story lines that may cause distress to some readers and is at times heart breaking and extremely emotional.

Jolie has survived and grown so much but her recovery has stalled. Cade on the other hand has buried his past and has never really confronted it. This has been such an emotional roller coaster of a series to read. I had so many raw emotions reading this book and at times Ms. Paige had me in tears. Although having said that here were times where I found myself laughing. My emotions were all over the place.

Cade and Jolie’s journey is one of the rockiest and most emotional I have read and Ms. Paige has written it superbly.

A spectacular ending to a compelling trilogy, Wild Heart will have your heart pounding until the end! I was on the edge of my seat as I turned page after page, completely engrossed in Cade and Jolie's journey. Cade was one of my favorite characters...smart, sexy, vulnerable and when he loves, he's all-in. I so wanted him to get everything he wanted and more. I didn't care as much for Jolie. Most times, I found her behavior too self-centered for my liking. I kept waiting for her to "adult". That being said, there were reasons for her behavior. As those reasons were slowly uncovered, it became easier to understand Jolie. I really wanted to like her and throw lots of empathy her way. For me, that just didn't happen. Yet, the story was so exciting, so action-packed and suspenseful that I was completely sucked in and committed. It was tough to stop reading so I could get some sleep! I finally stopped prior to reading the Epilogue and waited until the next morning to finish. The ending was everything I wanted and more. I can't recommend this trilogy high enough. Grab it, read it, and enjoy!

“Wild Heart” is full of surprises and once again it was necessary for us to go back to the past so we could fully comprehend the present. Ms. Paige starts off with a bombshell revelation that I never saw coming, and from there it only got more suspenseful as Cade and Jolie continued to plan the destruction of her father. The family dynamics were more complex than I ever imagined and no wonder Jolie wanted nothing to do with her father, his house or the town.

I love the bond that Cade and Jolie have which reaches back to when they were students at her father’s school. They fell in love as teenagers and even though they had been apart for a long time, their love was stronger than ever. Those lost years held many secrets, harsh realities and missed opportunities.

I adore all of Laurelin Paiges’s couples but Cage and Jolie jumped to the top of my list. Cade and Jolie’s love for each other spanned almost two decades and to me, it was the truest form of love. How Jolie lasted all this time without Cade was beyond me. She held her love for Cade deep in her heart and only reached out to him when she was desperate because he was the only person she could trust. They would do anything for each other even if it was dangerous, illegal or unconscionable.

So many things happened in “Wild Heart” that it was hard to keep up with all the developments. I thought I knew everything about Jolie but with this final act all the dirty secrets were revealed and we finally saw how truly despicable her father was. It is the perfect ending to an amazing and mind-blowing trilogy.

This trilogy has been one wild and crazy ride. So many twists and turns that kept me riveted to the page as I wanted to discover how Cade and Jolie came to be in both the past and the present. Numerous times, I was not prepared for the shock that I would experience. They were just that good. The ending of the last book was definitely one of those moments.

This book picked up right where the other one left off. I was hoping that once the shock was over that it would slowly pave the way for these two to finally have smooth sailing. Unfortunately, that was not the case as this author had more twists in store. However, these characters navigated those well and in the end, they finally got the happiness that they were destined for.

This book still had strong character growth, an intense storyline that made me sad at parts because it is heartbreaking, and gave me the story that draws me to romance in the first place. There were a couple of areas that I wished had been fleshed out more but don't want to give spoilers. They were not enough to detract me from enjoying the conclusion to this amazing series. Kudos to the author for saving the best for last when it comes to all of these interconnected characters.

This is the finale of Cade and Jolie's story. You will need to read the previous two books in order to follow. While in the previous books, we see some of the horrible things the two have been through in their youth, we get an even clearer picture of what happened, and it's a bit disturbing. So yeah, this one is a little more darker. There are also a lot of emotions involved. The previous book left us with a cliffhanger and this one picks up right where that one left off. There are a few shocking twists and more secrets are revealed. This series is a wonderfully told story of abuse, survival and love. It's well written tale that will pull at your heart strings. It alternates POVs. There is sexual content, and due to that and some of the subject matter, it is suitable for mature readers.

The Dirty Wild series has been a wild ride from start to finish and the conclusion of Cade and Jolie’s story was by far the wildest ride. We are left with a bombshell cliffhanger at the end of Wild War and the suspense continues in Wild Heart with questions unanswered. Everytime you turn the page, you think you’re getting closer to the answer to the crazy question you are asking yourself. Laurelin keeps you on your toes with and the suspense killing you for quite some time. Then, just when you think you know what is happening, the plot takes an unexpected twist and detours into the mother of all oh shit moments. No spoilers here and I hate being vague, but there is NO way I’m spoiling this amazing story for you. It will keep you on your toes and turning pages from start to finish.

The hits keep coming for Cade and Jolie as they confront their shared past and the trauma of what they survived together. These two can’t seem to catch a break until the very end. They were manipulated in the past and are still being manipulated now. The story is gritty, dark, and full of twisted plot threads that Laurelin ties into a pretty little bow at the end. She stealthily draws the reader into the conclusion and it is super satisfying. Grab this entire series and go on a wild ride in a second chance story that will blow your mind. It really will.

I don’t want to give any spoilers but Y’ALL this is the mother of all trilogies😳 My heart is both broken & so happy for Cade. And OMG Jolie🥺. The many years they spent apart😢I’m so glad justice was served!! They both deserve the biggest & best HEA ever…that epilogue was priceless. I’m so excited for Kincaid🥰

Fave quotes:
“Forgive me for having my own long-lost love to woo.” “God, no. I can’t picture you wooing.” In my mind, Donovan’s version of the term looked more like a kidnapping and hostage situation. “I get it. The kids never like to think about their parents having sex. Daddy won’t talk about it anymore.” “F*ck, don’t. Do not ever refer to yourself as Daddy again.” I shuddered.—-I love how Donovan is a bit lighter in Wild Heart. We get to see him as a friend & he is an awesome friend.

She pretended to deliberate, but she wasn’t fooling anyone. She knew we deserved happiness after everything we’d been through. We deserved to be spoiled for the rest of time. “All right. I’ll let you spoil me.”—-Screaming YES from the rooftops. This whole scene melted my heart.

I’m wrecked.. this series was so emotional I have to compose myself first! Oh Cade and Jolie…RTC

Ok so I’ve read almost all of Laurelin’s books and been a fan for a few years now! This series in my opinion was her most gut wrenching one so far! I read all 3 of these books in 2 days, I literally did nothing else, Cade and Jolie’s stories completely captivated me. Every emotion known was felt over those 2 days. I seriously didn’t read anything for almost a week after, it has taken me almost two weeks to come back to review! I really wish we had the opportunity to give books more than 5 stars because this whole series is worth so much more. If you have this series on your TBR go ahead and bump it up to next read because it is so worth the crying that you will do. It was a journey but so so worth it in the end!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
