What started as an experiment has evolved over time into a complex and reflexive expression that excites them both !! Chris is feeling bored and antsy. Instead of relying on his usual methods of releasing tension - a random hookup - he decides to invite his friends to hang out. He sends a group text to Mark, Hannah, and Mina. Mina and Hannah agree with ease to spend some quality time with Mark and Chris. A plan is set to find a beach house, and soon the four are heading out for fun in the sun. Throughout the trip, Mina and Chris learn just how complex their feelings are for one another. Has this experiment come to an end, or will they be able to work through those complex feelings?
This is the fourth book in My Best Friend's Ex and things seem to just get more complex and intertwined. Mina and Chris are getting closer and things are seeming less of a hookup. The beach trip with their friends Hannah and Mark makes them question their situation. Are they developing real feelings for each other? This is a quick cute read. The characters are likable but not very dimensional. Easy to read in one setting. Has been a cute series so far that I read as an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review.
It’s not just about hook ups anymore. Things are developing as are their feelings for each other. This book continues with steamy encounters. Likeable couple together and separately. Easy reading, and a getaway from today’s miseries. Love for Hopes writing.
This book comes in installments. I'm really enjoying this fast paced read! Mina and Chris are great together. The question remains, will they succeed being more?
