This was required reading for many years for Catholics before the wedding could take place. I read it in 1961. I will need to research has been replaced by something else. The original was written in 1927 and not revised by the time I read it! I have giving the "spiritual or life influencing books 3 stars because at the time I read them, I was totally on board with all that was said. I imagine that today , I would be giving them only one or two stars.
Practical advice on a variety of topics for married couples. He cites several lessons that we have learned through trial & error over our twenty years of marriage, but he still had something useful to say to me about my role in our family. We’ll be giving a copy of this book to all the newlyweds we know, from now on.
