I didn’t enjoy this third book in the Pepper Bay series, feeling it was too formulaic. Unfortunately, the plot development followed the same structure as the other books, so I felt this book lacked originality.

Returning to the Isle of Wight, this book follows Pepper Pot farm: Nate and Tessie. Despite being ‘together’, they aren’t officially a couple. It’s a bit silly when you consider how Tessie spends most of her time at the farm, both of their daughters are more like sisters than cousins, and they are close enough to be seen as a couple. It’s only after a series of events does Tessie move in, the girls call the parents ‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ respectively and it sets the ball in motion for the two recognising their feelings for one another.

Nate’s farm is financially struggling and Tessie is like a knightess in shining armour. Helping promote the cheese-making business online soon sees Nate’s products being sold in the village shop and, with the help of the local rich brothers (who we meet in the earlier books), it soon becomes a global product. But it doesn’t stop the financial strains overnight. Therefore, there’s a lot of whining going on from Nate, as he wants help but doesn’t want to accept offers when they appear right in front of him. In my opinion, it makes sense why the farm is lacking in money when Nate doesn’t want to take on offers of help from his best friends.

Inevitably, romance blossoms between Tessie and Nate and, like the surrounding characters, I felt this was long over-due. Having read the other books in the series, I like how the writer returned to familiar landmarks, including the pristine apartment in London. It made the books come full circle and I think this another series where you are better off reading the books in order to make sense of the history. Furthermore, with plenty of character names beginning with ‘J’, a bit more on their identities is a big help!

If you are after a familiar, straight-forward plot that is reminiscent of the other stories, this book is likely to be pleasing. Personally, I was hoping for Dady to do something different with this instalment; to break away from an established structure and make the plot development surprising. In my opinion, it was too close to the other books to make this as enjoyable, leaving me a little bit cheesed off by the cheesy plot and whining protagonist.

With thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve been looking forward to this story since Tessie and Nate were introduced earlier in the series. Tessie and Nate have been friends for years, and they share a very special bond. Connected by family and friends, they are as close as best friends can be, but both have secret feelings for the other and are afraid of revealing them and ruining what they have. Everyone knows they belong together, but can this pair put their fears aside and take a chance on love?

The friends-to-lovers romance between Tessie and Nate is the focus of the story, and it is lovely. They both have painful pasts and complications that fill them with doubt, and you can almost feel their fear of messing things up even though they both want more than friendship. Their feelings are so relatable and realistic, and their yearning for each other is wonderful.

Tessie and Nate’s daughters are fabulous characters as well, as are Nate’s grandmother, Tessie’s parents, and many of the characters introduced in the first two books. The characters are well-developed and unique, and they complement each other well. I loved learning how the characters from the first two books were doing and was so pleased to see they had secondary roles in this book. Each had such swoon-worthy romances, and seeing how their relationships have grown and changed is fantastic.

Another part of the story that I loved was the setting. Pepper Bay is such a close-knit, charming community, and the more I learn about it, the more I love it. The town is so supportive and friendly and welcoming, and it sounds like a wonderful place to live and raise children. Plus, Nate’s farm is warm and filled with love and family, and it feels like a safe haven for much of the story. Even when disasters strike, the people of Pepper Bay stand by each other. They are like a huge extended family – fun and nosy and always there when you need them.

Pepper Pot Farm is a great addition to the Pepper Bay series, and a great book for readers who enjoy heartwarming small-town romance, contemporary romance, or friends-to-lovers romance. Special thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and the author for providing a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

This is the 3rd book in the Pepper Bay series although it can be read as stand alone.

I was delighted to be back in Pepper Bay this time with Nate and Tessie. I was aware of them and some of their story from having read the first two books.

It was lovely to read their full story and what makes them the way they are today. The book is lovely and heartwarming but has its fair share of drama too. I feel the interactions with Jake, Anna, Josh and Joey from the first 2 books brings an added dimension. The family set up is lovely as it highlights that families come in all shapes and sizes..

I would definitely recommend this book and I am really looking forward to reading the next installment set in Pepper Bay.

This is book 3 in the Pepper Bay series and can be read as standalone. If you are up for friends to lovers cozy read with drama, close knit community go ahead and pick this up.

After reading Josh and Joey's story and having glimpse of what Nate and Tessie share, I knew I had to read this one when it is out. Nate's farm business is facing its low point but he doesn't want anyone's help. He wants to do everything by himself. Tessie is has been constant support to him but she does something that might destroy what they have built, their friendship.

Their family and friends were supportive and how they just be there for each other. Daisy and Robyn were cute and my favourite.

This was well written and lovely. Reading about both their thoughts you can't help but read it out in specific manner. The chemistry they have together is good and both are charming. I enjoyed reading this and had a constant smile on my face. A heartwarming, cute and easy read. Recommending it!

Thank you Rachel's Random Resources for having me on this tour

Oh how could I ever say no to this book! For a start of how cute is the cover , then it's by the amazing K.T Dady ..... just had to read it !! Even though this is a series the books can be read as standalone although I would say to read all of them!

In this book we have Tessie Sparrow and Nate Walker , they have an amazing friendship , except the problem is that it is a relationship , neither of them want to be intimate incase it ruins their friendship. No matter how much you get absolutely invested in their relationship and will them to finally be intimate there is a risk looming over them that could destroy them forever.

It is brilliantly written , it pulls you back to it continuously, you think of the characters when you aren't reading it. To me this makes it a wonderful clever book. Would highly recommend it.

Pepper Pot Farm is book 3 in the Pepper Bay series and I have loved all of them. This is a linked series with recurring characters and settings and works best in order however each book also works really well as a stand alone novel.
Pepper Pot Farm is Tessie and Nate’s story, characters who have appeared in previous books and now it’s their turn to be front and centre.
Tessie and Nate are drawn together but are both avoiding becoming more intimate in-case it ruins their strong friendship no matter how much chemistry and history they have. Nate’s farm is failing, and Tessie makes a decision that she may regret. Can Tessie and Nate’s friendship blossom into something else or will they struggle to even maintain their friendship?
Tessie and Nate are such lovely characters and quite different to the millionaire brothers who featured in the previous instalments. I was rooting for them from the beginning and not only wanted them to submit to their feelings, I also wanted everything to work out okay with Nate’s business too.
I love the community of Pepper Bay. I am sucker for books set in the same setting where you get to meet the same scenes and characters over many books. It always feels as though I am amongst family here and it’s like returning to a favourite familiar place full of warm, welcoming people.
This is such an adorable romance novel and it’s perfect for lazing away a few hours in bed. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series as I love them so much.

This one is all about Tessie and Nate and the will they or won’t they relationship they have. They’re basically a family already but they need to take that last step, but with money worries and characters from the past making appearances can they finally be happy?.

I loved loved loved this story!, the ups and downs had me thinking they won’t make after all, but as usually the residents of Pepper Bay made me feel like I I was home with old friends again.

I was so happy to meet Stan again too and I can’t wait for him to finally move to Pepper Bay properly and hear more of his wisdom and kindness.

I have been a fan of K. T. Dady’s work for a little while now. I haven’t quite caught up with everything that she has written to date, which is something that I hope to rectify pretty soon. I especially love the ‘Pepper Bay’ series. I read and loved the first two books in the series and I have been impatiently waiting for the third instalment to be released. Well ladies and gents the wait is over because the third book in the series is called ‘Pepper Pot Farm’ and it was released on 1st February 2022. It’s another cracker of a read and I thoroughly enjoyed every single second of it but more about that in a bit.
It took me no time at all to get into ‘Pepper Pot Farm’. In fact the gorgeous front cover of the book grabbed my attention, the synopsis drew me in and the story within the book’s covers sealed the deal as it were. To say that reading ‘Pepper Pot Farm’ became addictive is an understatement. When I initially picked the book up, I had only intended to read a chapter or two but I became so wrapped up in the lives and loves of the different characters that I was still sat there reading several chapters and an hour or so later. I just adored the characters of Tessie and Nate, even if I did want to bash their heads together at times. I had my own theories as to what was going to happen and of course I had to keep reading to see if I was anywhere near the truth. The pages turned increasingly quickly and at times it was almost as if they were turning themselves. This book was certainly the tonic that I needed at the time and it certainly made me smile. After I finished reading ‘Pepper Pot Farm’, I was left feeling as though I had had a hug from a mug of hot chocolate in that it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
‘Pepper Pot Farm’ is extremely well written. The author has one of those easy going writing styles that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. In fact reading one of her books feels more like a chat between friends rather than reading a book. I hope that makes sense. The chapters are written from the point of view of Nate and Tessie. The chapters interlink well and the story flows seamlessly as a result. For me, the story started with a bang, it hit the ground running and maintained a gentle pace throughout. There were certainly twists and turns to this story and at times I feared for both Tessie and Nate. I always find that the sign of a good book is when I become far too involved in the story and I ‘interact’ with the characters as if they can hear me. Well that’s definitely what happened with this one. I love the way in which K. T. Dady makes the reader feel as though they are part of the story themselves and at the heart of the action.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed and adored ‘Pepper Pot Farm’ and I wholeheartedly recommend this book, this series and this author to other readers. I will certainly be reading more from K. T. Dady in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Although you could read this as a standalone, you certainly gain from knowing the first two in the series and finding how some of the characters fit into the story. It is great to meet up with Jake and Josh again and to see how their lives are progressing in Pepper Pot Bay. It is a gorgeous community and the whole story has a welcoming and heart-warming feel.

Centre stage in the third in the series are Tessie and Nate whose lives intermingle with many in the village. Friends from childhood, you get to hear their own thoughts as to what they think of each other which really makes them come alive. In contrast to the millionaire brothers, Josh and Jake, Nate is a local farmer who is struggling to make ends meet. Stubborn and fiercely independent, it is hard for him to accept help. To offset that side of his character, you see the warmth and love he has for his family which gives him a vulnerability which Tessie shares. I loved reading their story and look forward to the next visit to Pepper Bay.
In short: family and friendship are at the heart of the story
Thanks to the author for a copy of the book

Thank you so much K.T. Dady and Rachel’s random resources for gifting me a digital copy of Pepper Pot Farm in exchange for an honest review. In pepper pot farm we follow Nate and Tessie from pepper bay on the Isle of Wight. Old friends who have formed a family but will love blossom where friendship has always been? I really enjoy the pepper bay series and the interaction between characters from the previous books and taking a deeper look at the lives of Nate and Tessie. I loved the modern family take that was represented in this book through the dynamic of Nate and Tessie and their daughters. I truly believe family is made not only by blood but mostly through love and support that was abundant in the lives of these characters. I really enjoy all the books I have read by K.T. Dady and I’m excited to see where we go next.

This is the 3rd book of the series that I have read and it’s the 3rd that I have found totally charming and enjoyable. Although this works as a standalone it was lovely catching up with previous characters. Reading more about Nate and Tessie was like visiting old friends. I’m looking forward to reading the 4th book about the delightful Pepper Pot community.

The writing style offers the reader escapism and a sense of warmth and comfort all in one. This is a light hearted read that is perfect for all occasions - a winter warmer or summer scorcher. The plot flows perfectly, keeping the reader engaged through its twists and turns, yet not heavy.

I can not recommend this book (and series) enough if you are a fan of this genre. Pick up a copy today - you will not be disappointed!

Thank you Rachel’s Random Resources and K T Dady for a gifted copy of this and a place on the recent book tour in exchange for a honest and voluntary review. All opinions are my own.

This is another instalment in a wonderful series, this like the first two ‘pepper bay’ books can be read as a stand-alone but I would encourage you to read the first two because they are so good!
As always there is plenty of soap opera-like drama on the island to keep you engaged and entertained.

This instalment focuses on Nate and Tessie, their friendship goes way back to their childhoods, both of these characters are well written and believable and I found the chemistry between them quite charming.

This is a cosy read perfect for the beach, summer months, travelling or if you just fancy cuddling up with your coffee and pets in the evening!

4 stars.

I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources who very kindly forwarded me an arc copy of this book, for my Kindle, in return for my honest review.

This book is number three in the Pepper Bay series, but can very easily be read as a stand alone with no problems.
It was wonderful to come back to Pepper Bay and spend some more quality time with Nate and Tessie. I loved getting to know them a bit more. It’s a lovely and heartwarming story, with a little sprinkling of drama to add to the mix.
The characters were great and it was nice to have a catch-up with some of the characters from books one and two.
This was a gorgeous friends to lovers trope and very well written too.

The third in the Pepper Bay series, easily read as a standalone.

As an island girl myself, I spent the book trying to envisage whereabouts on the Island the farm was.

A heartwarming, cosy read full of love, family & drama. Well written & drew me in from the first page.

By the end of the book the characters all felt like old friends & they were all so adorable, well apart from that one!

I definitely want to read the rest of the series now.

Book 3 in The Pepper Bay series and I am loving “meeting” more of the residents of this lovely community. Tessie and Nate have known each other all their lives and they are both bringing up daughters on their own, they are attracted to each other but don’t want to spoil their friendship. Drama, families and friendships are at the heart of this story and who doesn’t love a happy ending.

Pepper Pot Farm is the third instalment in K.T. Dadys Pepper Bay Series! In this chapter we focus on the characters of Nate and Tessie and what a beautiful story they have to tell!! This is my second check in on Pepper Bay having read Honeybee Cottage in 2021, it was great to be back! K.T Dady writes these novels so that they can be read as stand-alones as well as read as part of the series which is an element I really like.

This can only be described as a heartwarming romance with a hell of a lot of drama!! A whole season of a soap-opera crammed into one book!! It was funny, full of tension, descriptive and very well written! I can’t wait to come back to Pepper Bay again in the near future!!

Thanks so much to rachelsrandomresources and author K.T. Dady for the advanced readers copy of this wonderful book in exchange for an honest review!

I loved this story and getting to know Tessie and Nate and their journey to finding love, but to be honest it was my least favorite of the 3 books so far. The writing style was just as lovely as for the other books and the same, in the sense that the chapters are written in third person focusing on either Nate or Tessie, alternating between them. In between the third person descriptions there are sections in italics sharing the thoughts of these two main characters within their chapters. As with the other books this gives us a lot better understanding of why characters behave certain ways based on what is going on in their head. Unfortunately these two characters were not entirely what I had expected, still really good but 4 stars, not 5 stars good.

There is A LOT of drama in this book. Every time I thought “okay they’re overcome those obstacles, now they will get together and perhaps hit a small bump here and there but it will be smooth sailing” something else happened. I think perhaps a little too much for me to believe it and be completely sucker punched by it or moved to tears.

All in all 4 out of 5 stars from me as I did spend a huge chunk of this book smiling and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I am now keenly awaiting the next installment guaranteed to be a feel good read set in a lovely community. I loved being back with everyone in Pepper Bay and can’t wait to read the stories of other characters in Pepper Bay and being reunited with all the characters from the first 3 books.

The 3rd book in this delightful series about Pepper Bay and it's inhabitants. This book is about Nate, who was born and raised on Pepper Pot Farm, and now farms there; and Tessie, daughter of Elaine and Ed who own the pub in the Bay.

Tessie was married to Henry, who was killed in an accident before their daughter Rabyn was born. Nate had a girlfriend, Tori, who was Henry's Sister, they had a girl, Daisy. Tori walked out on Nate while Daisy was a few months old.

Daisy and Robyn see each other as Sisters, Nate and Tessie are best friends, but could there be more between them? When Tessie comes up with a plan to save the farm, Nate has to decide whether to forgo his pride and accept it, the trouble is, Tessie holds something back from Nate.

This was a great read which I couldn't put down and read late into the night finishing! Although each book is a standalone story, the books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.

This is the third book in the series and I think this one has been my favourite!

I said it in the previous reviews, but I would really suggest you read the first two books before this one as there are a lot of characters to keep up with. I found it much easier this time 😂

I really enjoyed Tessie and Nate's story. It's not your usual one, there was a lot more pull to it.

I found I devoured the first half but I did find myself lagging a little in the middle where there was a lot of just to and froing. But then once it picked up again, I just couldn't stop.

I can imagine the whole town and I love that even though each book is about two main characters, there is a lot of mention of the rest so it's more of a town book.

Perfect easy read for when you just need to escape!

I’ve loved all 3 books, but this one is my favourite so far. They all have the same pace, which I love. The pace of a book is what keeps me reading. They all carry a good balance of love and drama, but there was something about Nate and Tessie’s story. Friends that loved each other but lived separate happy lives, then found their way into each other’s arms. What’s also great, keeping up to date with the rest of the Pepper Bay characters.
3 books in and Pepper Bay feels even more the dreamiest place to live. But I’m starting feel like happiness comes with a curse, lol.
Ready for book 4. Can’t wait.

Number 3 in this. I loved reading all 3 of the books in this series so far. Each book so different from the last, but all a continuation of the story. I love how easy this book is to read. I get completely lost in the characters lives. This book is a real escapism book. With an idyllic setting, incredible characters & amazing storylines it’s a definite feel good must read.

A Lovely Book

I loved this book because I liked the characters (most of them).

An ideal book to read by the fire on your day off when the weather is rubbish, or on your Sun lounger on holiday.

Set in a lovely sea side community with little trips to London.

Ideal books for those fans who like to meet their favourite characters once again.

Tessie and Nate’s story was another in the series I just couldn’t put down.
I’m really enjoying this series. The author just has you hooked from the first page!
There was lots of drama throughout the book to keep you guessing and hooked, and I love how it continues the other characters stories too.
I can’t wait to start the next in the series!
