There are many books on leadership, management, soft skills and business in general, but very few that focus on leadership at all levels. Jeremy Blain has corrected this anomaly and provides an action-oriented, how-to manual for organisations, leaders and those ready to unleash their inner CEO to contribute beyond their job description. The Inner Unleashing leaders at all levels will arm leaders with the steps to make this a reality in their organisation, as well as supporting individuals who are ready to step up as unleashed ‘in-role CEOs’.
Are you in any line of business or profession and feeling the need to improve yourself? Do you, in other words, want to up your "A game" and advance in your career? Then I believe you've arrived at the right place. Author Jeremy Blain, who wrote the book THE INNER CEO, is introduced here through his words and interpretations. This book teaches people how to unleash their inner potential, empowering them and adding to the long list of business advancements. To learn more, read Jeremy Blain's THE INNER CEO.
This book focuses on developing leadership abilities to help individuals feel and act fully empowered at all levels. Instead of favoring the few, this is about distributing leadership and maximizing the potential of the many. Organizations and executive leaders must establish the framework and systems necessary for this to succeed if they are to accomplish it (flatter structure, horizontal leadership). Only then will we be prepared to upskill the masses and equip them with the abilities to contribute to the company's larger growth aspirations outside the scope of their current job descriptions.
With your best interests in mind, the author intends to show readers what lies behind a successful change. 'Change' in this context refers to improvement, and when there is constant improvement, a new leadership potential emerges. As I've learned, in the business world, improvement is considered a strategy. I've come across a couple of leadership books on the market that seem to be talking about the same thing. Either time management and its benefits to the business or innovation and its benefits to the business. The procedures that need to be performed to ensure time management or creativity are rarely discussed in these leadership books. But this book is the best thing I've read about leadership thus far.
Blain had been successful in catching the crucial element of self-help books, which some authors appear to overlook. That element is the step-by-step guide that a person can use to succeed. This book has seven chapters, and each one plays a different role in explaining a particular concept to the reader. I'll discuss my favorite chapter with you. Although each chapter is distinctive in its way, I can't help but be impressed with chapter 2, "A New Approach for Changing Times." Change is not something I particularly enjoy, yet one statement from this chapter was all it took to ignite my desire to become a better version of myself. The following is taken from page 63 of 228: "Within all of this, we must acknowledge that change may bring fear, and fear can paralyze corporations into a self-destructive state of failure as much as it can be the catalyst for success."
You might wonder what else sets this book apart from the others. This book is more than just the author's collection of thoughts. By obtaining information from reputable sources like business professionals and public intellectuals in the sector, Blain has gone above and beyond. These individuals discuss the essential elements of success in this interview as well as their prior experiences. The readers are given the chance to experience a variety of viewpoints about the business disciplines. Additionally, reading this book was well worth it. This book has a lot of information that can be learned and practiced.
This book, however, was error-free; it was exceptionally edited. Therefore, I rate THE INNER CEO 5 out of 5 stars.
Whether or not you work in business, I recommend this book to people of all professions because it contains information that can help anyone succeed in any field and become a great leader.

Things discussed in the book are Creating the right conditions to unleash the inner CEO, and one of my favorites is Making it happen: unleashing leadership at all levels.
What I like about the book-
It is an insightful book and gives you a practical guide to becoming your own boss regardless of your level. He gives a detailed analysis of how organizations work or how should they work and what they need in the future to grow fast as the world grows. He has a deeper understanding of business and he knows exactly what's happening around the business world. He knows what and where to change to become the inner CEO. I recommend it.

What sets this book apart from others is author's interview with top most CEO of the companies across the world and importance of self growth. He emphasizes the importance of clarifying one's vision and understanding strengths and weaknesses.
The book covers a wide range of topics relevant to CEOs, including strategic thinking, decision-making, communication, team building, and innovation. Each chapter is well-structured and provides practical insights and examples that make the concepts easily understandable and applicable.
In conclusion, the book is a valuable resource for individuals aspiring to lead at the highest level.
This book is a guide on how readers can unleash their ‘inner CEO’ by learning the essential leadership skills, containing case studies - each accompanied by interviews with feedback on how to succeed being a leader along with the dos and don’ts, as determined from their own experience in their company.
To adapt to change is one of the many steps in improving the inner CEO: leadership is not defined as taking full stage to delegate responsibilities and provide answers for every problem by themselves, leadership is about taking control and accountability for the way an organisation is led, such as allowing employees and clients to suggest ideas and changes to ultimately achieve a well-rounded work environment. For example, the food business rely heavily on customer feedback so they can focus on improving customer service and company standards to gain new and repeat customers.
The book includes visual road maps and toolkits for readers to learn from and fills the missing market of helping people step up and develop their leadership skills regardless of their position in their organisation. What is important is the ability to adapt to changes in uncertain times, such as the current pandemic. The book also includes a 90-Day Road Map organised as a 12-week process, so the changes are not so intense; thus, a realistic plan of action for readers to follow.
I received a free review copy. Thank you to OnlineBookClub and author.
