I read this story because I wanted to read longer texts in Sanskrit. This novel fulfills it perfectly for a beginner. It is written in Simple Sanskrit. 3 stars for the novel and 1 for being beginner friendly.

This is the story of Vinayak and Vijaya, and their children Vismita and Vishrut. Both Vinayak and his wife Vijaya are professors. The story goes into their backstory and then their life. This book tells the story of a common middle class family and their struggles, aspirations and principles. The story ends by justifying the title.

I like this book for begin beginner-friendly however I didn't enjoy this a lot from story point of view.

This is a simple story of a common man living in contemporary India.
