This was AMAZING!!

Despite that I STILL haven't read the full series of Demon Slayer, I deeply enjoyed and appreciated this art book! I honestly had been on the fence if I had wanted to get it, but thanks to reading a digital copy early, I'm seriously considering getting this physically.

One of the most notable things about this art book (and probably any art book truthfully LOL) is that it has you slow down and really zero in on all the details of the art. I've always felt that Gotouge has extremely unique character designs, but these pages really make that idea shine in how true that is. Having white backgrounds where all you see and focus on are the characters, I felt a little sense of awe and nostalgia for how special these characters are.

While the art is probably the highlight of this (especially the exclusive art pages which I LOVED! Hands down my favorite art pieces included!), I loved loved LOVED reading Gotouge's thoughts on each of the covers and a variety of art pieces included in the Demon Slayer manga! When I read their afterword note, it gave me a much better appreciation for their art style and their overall journey. They are so transparent with their struggles and more often than not, I found myself wishing I could hug the mangaka and say thank you for not giving up on telling this story.

I would definitely recommend this to fans of Demon Slayer, regardless if you're like me and haven't finished the manga series or have binge read it multiple times. It really lets the art shine (and gives you new art of these amazing characters) and gives an opportunity I feel to get to know the mangaka on a deeper level than just, "Hey, that's the creator of Demon Slayer!"

A strong five out of five stars with me adding this to my wish list of things I would like to get this year!

Even though I haven't read the full series of Demon Slayer (I have watched the anime), I really enjoyed and appreciated this art book.

This book is great for both die-hard Demon Slayer fans and casual readers alike, as well as an appeal for anime watchers.

This is such a great book to sit down and go through. It makes you really appreciate all the time it took to make and design all of these lovable characters.

I would definitely recommend this to any fans of Demon Slayer. I can’t wait to purchase a physical copy to add to my personal collection.

Demon Slayer is the BEST obsession I’ve ever fallen back into.

I LOVE this collection of illustrations and ephemera from the series! It’s such a wonderful showcase of Koyoharu Gotouge’s range as an artist. We get some key visuals from the manga as well as magazine covers, SO MANY doodles, and exclusive art for this collection.

I appreciate getting to see some of my favorite covers scaled up—as well as getting to hear from Gotouge about their inspiration and process when it comes to crafting them.

More, I LOVED seeing Tanjiro posing as Zoro, Akaza and Koyuki snuggling with a cat, Gyomei being a cat-lover, Nezuko hanging out with the Hashira girls, Rengoku’s daily life—I LOVED getting all of these glimpses into this world.

These characters are all so dear to me and it is so nice to see them in different lights.

Anyway.

If you have also fallen back into a Demon Slayer obsession or are falling into one for the first time, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this collection out from your local library. It is a beautiful, nostalgic addition to the series~

Sumamente reconfortante y cozy, mentiría si dijera que no los compré para ver a Akaza pero aún así todas las demás ilustraciones son una delicia que acaricia al corazón, es un encanto que después de terminar los demás mangas, novelas y fanbooks te deja un aliento cálido y fresco.

I greatly enjoyed flipping through this. The manga is highly coveted by our students in our school and artbooks are a nice piece to have. This one was well done and there was a lot of new artwork I hadn't seen yet. I finished the series earlier this month, so that was a nice surprise. Definitely loved every picture of Nezuko and this was a bit tamer than the manga.
