We are back in this MC word and this time it's the Grimm Sinners OG we had a small glimpse of these two in cherishing his Forever Jessica moms story.
Isabella aka Bell has been groomed by her parents and was sold at age 14 so she has been abused, raped starved and many horrible things. She also had 2 daughters but she made sure they were adopted not wanting her daughters to grow up in this world.
Her daughters found her and took her away. Keeping her with them and their MC family slowly rebuilding her life with her kids and herself and she meets Maverick and she's already attracted to him but she still skittish. As for Mav lord he is everything you want in a man.. he was patient, caring and always made sure she was okay with anything he did even if it was holding her hand. Not wanting to scare her they move slowly and he gets to know her and spend time with her and a cute lil boy Bell has sorta adopted name Ronny.. even with the sweet moments we did have drama from Bell past her ex and the Cult that has ruined lives. We learn quite few secerts.. and see some torture 😈😈😈
We also got a small sneak peek at River and her man Gage who is the president of his own Mc I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!!!

Maverick was the second book in the Grim Sinners MC Originals series by LeAnn Ashers. The series intersected with her Devil’s Souls MC and Grim Sinners MC series but was not a requirement to have been read first.
Ashers began with a brief history of the terror that Isabelle “Bell” had lived through for her first thirty eight years. She had been in a cult where women were property and good for nothing except breeding, cooking, cleaning and punishing. Ashers then detailed Bell’s way out and her introduction to Maverick, a patched member of the Grim Sinners MC.
True to Ashers style, it was insta-love with Maverick in true alpha form. He was protective, possessive and loyal with a “you are my world and I’ll do anything for you” attitude. I liked Maverick but I wanted to know more about him. He was older but we had no idea his actual age, background, how long he had been with the MC, etc and I wanted more from him.
Maverick had multiple storylines that weaved in and out together. Ashers tackled some tough subjects that were unfortunately a reality today. However, she tossed in her typical over the top scenarios to lighten the load and ensure we were gifted with an HEA, good vs evil and good always winning out.
All in all, it was a quick and heartfelt story. Ashers fans will love it!

Maverick is Book 2 in Grim Sinners MC Originals series by author LeAnn Ashers. This is Maverick and Bell’s amazing story! Bell grew up in a cult and her parents forced her at like age 14 to marry a man in 30s. There she was, stuck in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship until the person she never thought she'd see saved her life and freed her. Now she's ended up with the Grim Sinners, which puts her around Maverick and the chemistry between them is sizzling hot! 🔥Maverick literally fell for Bell the second he laid eyes on her and when he heard what all happened to her, he completely just fell harder. Bell felt so safe and complete, comfortable with Maverick. There were several twists and turns that made this another awesome MC romance star 🌟. Bell and Maverick are *THE* couple that will give you the feels, laughter, fun, heat, tears, heartbreak, romance , love and HEA. There is some sensitive topics that are brought up but done right. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This book affected me more than I thought it would. The story had me in tears and full of love. This MC read is a page turner with hot, alpha, protective men who would do anything for their women. Plus some kick butt females to admire. I did not want it to end. I’ve read quite a few of this author’s books and this one may be favorite to date. Loved it and will be recommending others read this.

I adore Maverick & Bell. Bell grew up in a cult, being forced to marry at 14 years old. She had two daughters she gave away to save them from the same fate. Twenty-five years later, her daughters found and saved her, putting her in Maverick’s path, which was the best place for her to be. Maverick, one of the OG Grim Sinners, fell for Bell the moment he saw her. Finding out what happened to her broke his heart, and made him determined to give her a better life. Nothing gets in the way of a Grim Sinner on a mission, especially one of the Originals. Sometimes, when you wait for a book, it doesn’t quite meet what you thought it might be; LeAnn Ashers way over exceeded what I had hoped for with Maverick. Like I said, I adore this book.

This is Ms. Ashers best book yet. I love where the whole story is going. Bell and Maverick are so sweet and I'm glad he got her. I enjoy all her books and the characters stay in my mind. The trials Bell has to go through show how strong she is and she still knows her heart with Maverick. Very sweet and badass at the same time.

I really have no words! This was by far the best one yet. I loved that the storyline touched on so many different subject areas. I loved how Mavericks showed Bells that her past doesn’t define who she is now. I can’t wait to read Gages story either.

LeAnn Ashers builds a world that her readers become a part of. Maverick and Bell’s story brings you in and breaks you apart, then puts your heart back together. I have loved every one of her books, but I must say this one hit me in the feels hard! This is one hell of a reading, I highly recommend!

What can I say... another fab story but one of my favourite authors. Safe from ow drama completely! All this authors H’s are to die for alphas and perfect in every way. Can wait for the next book (who I believe is River’s and Gage’s?).

Loved! LeAnn Ashers each book is a masterpiece! And I loved how tied into the MC maverick still is as an OG, any situation his brothers at his back! Definitely loved all of the action, the MC badassness and the love!!

Pile of rubbish. Basic..cingingly OTT,. Sickly sweet and repetitive. The writing and story were both awful, basic, highly repetitive and flat. This is really just badly written outline of a very cliched story that's been done too many times before.
The author really needs to broaden her vocabulary, and learn a new pet word because she has the hero calling the heroine 'darlin' every single time he speaks to her. Literally Every Single Time he speaks to her he says 'darling, darlin, darlin, darling', it's awful. The ex calls her 'bitch' in every single sentence, and the so called author uses the same words in every single sentence, like this paragraph the word 'hand' was used in every sentence in the paragraph-
"His hand runs down my back, I put my hand on his shoulder. His hand goes to the back of my head, his other hand holds me out of the warer. My hands are shaking, so I put a hand through his hair".
It's really terrible writing. Very unprofessional, basic and lazy writing. Other things are repeated dozens of times, including how her ex monitored her eating because he didn't want her to get fat, how she was married at fourteen to a man in his thirties, him constantly thinking about needing to know how she was hurt to know how much pain to inflict on her ex, and how she had to go to hospital because he beat her so badly she almost died, all repeated constantly. Seriously tiresome and irritating repetition.
The writing is really basic quality and really not good. The story is also terrible. First off, this was supposed to be Maverick but it's the heroine's book, not his. The actions and dialogue of the characters were unprofessional, over the top sickly sweet, childish and immature. It's so bad, I cringed. A lot!
There are massive plot problems from the very start, like Jessica, Bell's daughter, asks her 'what is your name'. Now, Jessica had never met Bell but from the previous paragraph River tells Bell that she told Jessica all about her and all about some of the terrible things she went through. So, clearly it's stupid for Jessica to ask Bell what her name is.
There are other plot problems, like it makes no sense that she was able to escape her husband and the cult to have her daughter in hospital, then do it a second time to have her second daughter in hospital, and give them up for adoption. Surely if her husband and the cut were so obsessive and manical, he would have locked her up during the second pregnancy to prevent it happening the second time.
This is truly awful reading. They fall in love too quick, instantly, without even kissing. The heroine cringingly falls in love with everyone and every thing, including every inanimate object she sees, it says, "His bike is beautiful, I fall in love. His house is beautiful, I fall in love. His fireplace is beautiful, I fall in love. His kitchen is beautiful, I fall in love, his backyard is beautiful, I fall in love... His shower...". Think the point is made so ill leave it there. .
Turns out I read another book by this author a couple of years ago called Smiley, and gave it 2 stars, saying I did like the older characters but there were ridiculous, unbelievable points to the plot and editing problems. So it seems this author is getting worse with time and experience, not better, because this was the worst rubbish I've ever read. Got to the part where the doctor calls her a whore and I just could read anymore of this total rubbish!

Great read
I wish I could put pen to paper and write like this. The characters are wonderful and have great storylines. It’s so easy to get in grossed in these books that you forget about everything else for a while. This is one of those authors that you can’t wait for their next book.

Oh wow this was a hectic emotional and also a awesome read 😊
My heart was totally broken for poor Bell and what she went through since she was 14years old, but even before that. She had to endure so much pain and suffering that I didn’t think she would get over it. But man she was and amazing strong women once she started getting help and she was in a place where she could thrive.
Maverick #sigh! What a hot sexy alpha guy and he was exactly what Bell needed in her life. I felt like their romance was just so easy well sort of. The relationship between Maverick and Bell was sweet and sexy and just hot. Everything else that happened was off the charts crazy and suspenseful. Its like you felt like man finally Bell could have her peaceful happily ever and then boom something else happens and just hit after hit and surprise after surprise.
I was totally hooked from the first page right till the end and even when it ended I wanted more of this club and its people. If you like MC Romance and suspense thrown in and some cute as hell kids then this is the one for you 😊 I am excited to read what comes next I know its going to be another epic ride 😊♥

What comes to mind when I think of this book is (how wonderful life is with you in the world) Elton John. You would think after suffering the life Bell had for thirty-eight years that she couldn't, wouldn't or shouldn't have survived, while I know its fiction in my heart, in my head I KNOW there are survivors of a lot worse. I applaud any author who brings out the "tough stuff".
This is a beautiful story: Bell has survived so much and yet she still has hope and sweetness and light. She still has love in her soul. Maverick recognizes that she is a woman of many layers and he peels them back until he reveals a soul mate. Bell is smart, resourceful, loving and strong. Perfect mate for the protective alpha Maverick. I am so glad they get their "Happily Ever After"

Ever since Cherishing His Forever, I have been so excited to read Bell and Maverick! It did not disappoint. Bell has begun to move on from her trauma with Maverick right by her side. But is what she experienced in the past or coming back to haunt her? Past secrets are revealed from Bells old life. Along with that we have a poor boy who Bell falls in love with as her own and has his own trauma.
Maverick and Bell come together with their various MC family members and non MC family members by their side on this emotional journey. This story is one of overcoming trauma and gaining family and self worth. We also get some new love story introductions along the way that I am very excited to read!

I absolutely loved Maverick & Bell.
Bell’s story from the start was tragic & my heart broke reading what she had to endure her entire life until she was saved by her two daughters. And that is when her life really began, & we meet Maverick & their interaction from the beginning, you just know these two are meant to be together. Their story is exciting, sexy, scary at times, funny & heartwarming.
Throw in Ronny, & their life is complete. This book is not to be missed; we’re introduced & reintroduced to many characters, I just loved this book so much. Definitely be a reread!

I am super excited for the upcoming books in this series. And cannot wait to read River & Gage!!! Those two together in this book was fantastic, looking forward to an entire book.

I'm the one that didn't like it. I respect all authors, I couldn't write my way out of a paper bag, but I'm going to be honest about the review.
I've read most of her books and I know her writing style is different than others and she makes good "escape from reality" books.
This seemed like one that was put together from bits and pieces of books in the past. So many similar scenarios, phrases, characters and so on. There were too many eye rolling moments, still editing errors and things that weren't my thing. I'm not going to list all the issues that I had with this book. She had some funny things happen and a couple really good lines but in general I give it 2stars. And yet I reread it to help me me remember who's who in new releases

This has to be Ms. Ashers best story yet, at times my heart felt so full it was near to bursting.
Bell is rescued from a cult by Maverick, and reveals all the trials she has had to go through. Ronny a little boy is introduced to the story and shows how whole hearted Maverick is. More characters are added to sweeten the deal, and Maverick is proved totally badass with a soft centre. What a story, it exhausted my emotions. It’s an intense and emotional story that will batter your heart. I loved it.

This book was so sweet and had that biker edge to it that I really love. The life that Bell had, oh man my heart broke for her, but seeing Maverick help put her back together was a joy all on its own. Add in seeing some favorites from past series and let’s just say that I was hooked on this book. I’m so glad that Bell got the justice that she deserved and that the “bad guys” got what was coming to them. 4 stars #2OCCJD

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the fact that the characters have unique backgrounds, it made for some interesting reading. We get know the female lead rather well, however, I felt as if I knew nothing of the male lead. Maverick is a very alpha male, very sexy and protective and Bell needs protection. There are quite a few triggers! I loved the action, suspense and drama around every corner.
