A month has passed since Oberon and Alessa defeated the Expedition forces sent against them by the Lordships. Their power has grown to the extent that the desert can provide. Ever frustrated by the level system of the world, he decides it's time to take a bigger piece of the pie. Marshaling his new forces, he heads into the continent. Mayhem is marching, may the gods have pity on anyone standing in his way.
The world’s curse is on the warpath. He is no longer content in his desert and is after world conquest and perhaps godhood. He creates new undead, finds new magic, meets old flames. And his granddaughter discovers that transformation (at least hers) is linked to Sin. I all it is a great addition to the story, definitely not a stand alone novel. There are a few missed edits but you get used to them. Please enjoy
By far the worst in the series, the author continues to lack in basic proofreading and structure. At no point in this book is there the slightest dramatic tension, and the conversations are incredibly awkward and unnatural. There are grammatical issues covered by your basic fifth grade English class, and the amount of filler words probably adds 20% to the length of the book. Honestly this feels like it's a rushed first draft done on Word and never actually read by the author to check for errors. Content wise, it's boring. There is no real structure to the story, no new elements introduced to the story and no closure on previously introduced elements. There are continuity errors, tense errors, characters are actually becoming more shallow and less interesting and everything feels rushed.
Mistakes: this is a short book with a handful of mistakes scattered around. Seven mistakes in something this short is bad. All three books could and should be combined to make one decent sized book.
Plot: War! Really all books in this series could be fleshed out quite a bit and make each a decent story. As is this is just a fun little time waster.
Characters: I'm getting tired of how easy everything is for the bad guys. It's ridiculous, there is no real challenge.
Can’t wait for the next installment every time a nice one comes outs I read it in one day. The only bad thing is I wish they were longer. Also I love that you tell the story from the bad guys point of view I really get tired of reading about the hero’s. Keep up the great job.
This is a fun series with a bit of romance and much action. In this series, the lead is basically the bad guy, so you do have to wrap your head around that. I'm on book 5 now and it is still going well though a tad too much sex for me in the final book otherwise the series has been very entertaining.
The combat is non-existent. The character development is predictable. The overall story for the book is lacking, it is just one long road trip. This has been very disappointing.
