Join Cormac and Victoria in Taking Him, the second part of their journey together, as they learn the ways of the heart and that perhaps marrying for money isn’t the only reason to marry…
Taking Him, is the second part of Victoria and Cormac's story in The Royals of Avalone universe. It contains some strong language and scenes of a sexual nature. Note: this is not a standalone book, but the second book in a trilogy of books.
E.V. Darcy is not my real name, but as I taught High School when I began my writing career, and those pesky kids have a way of finding things, I thought better safe than sorry!
I live in the north of England with my husband and rather large -- and very spoilt -- dog, Jabba, who we rescued in 2015.
In 2009 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Imaginative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University. I then went on to teach high school maths - go figure!
When I'm not writing you can find me procrastinating by binge watching my favourite T.V. shows, playing computer games, or walking my much loved dog, who is my baby!
This second part in this trilogy is heartwarming, romantic and at times laughable.
Cormac is still the protector and tries to protect Victoria at all times, even from her grandfather the king! Victoria turns into a less stoic woman and can show herself more and more. Despite her insecurities, she grows into a character who cautiously dares to go against protocol.
And then James, a great youngster who provides hilarious moments. So is the part where Victoria throws her wedding bouquet. Great description of the scene where the women fight over the bouquet. But for all the good that happens, O'Malley hasn't forgotten the deal between him and Cormac
Highly recommended
