What You Know About Love
Gemini Stokes is merely existing. After experiencing the greatest loss of her life, she knows she will never be the same, and she doesn't care. Trying to get her to change who she is, is a waste of time. She has no goals, dreams, or desires. She uses alcohol and drugs to numb the pain, and she doesn't see the harm in that. Her passive attitude and chill demeanor, draws Nahziah to Gemini. He doesn't do complicated. Unattached and fun are right up his alley, until he finds himself taking in her pain and wanting to save her from it. But you can't save a person that doesn't want to be saved. Nahziah grew up in a housing project known as the zoo, and both his parents were gang bangers. Fighting for love and wanting a woman to change for him were never things he was familiar with. When he sees that he's the only one fighting, he lets go. Love can beautiful or it can be unhealthy and toxic. Sometimes, if you love something you have to let it go, but will Nahziah waving the white flag damage Gemini more than she already is?

Gemini was dealing with grief that she wouldn’t wish on her worst enemy. I mean she was STRUGGLING. After experiencing an unimaginable loss, she felt that she had nothing to live for. While she wasn’t necessarily suicidal, her actions showed that she didn’t care about living. She was simply navigating life in a zombie-like state going through the motions. She self medicated to keep the pain at bay and took risks not caring about the consequences. After a chance encounter with Nahziah, she had no idea that he would be the one to penetrate her concrete heart and support her along the way in her journey of healing.
Nahziah grew up in “the zoo”. That was all he knew however as an adult, it was important for him to break free from the repetitive cycle that his parents were trapped in; drug dealing, gang banging and a revolving door with the prison system. He always knew he wanted more in life and meeting Gemini gave him the extra motivation to make that happen.
Gemini took Nahziah through it!! She told him not to expect anything from her because she had nothing to give but sadly like most ninjas that think they know everything, he didn’t listen and ended up catching BIG FEELINGS. As his feelings grew deeper, Nahziah wanted better for Gemini but sadly she couldn’t see past her grief. Nahziah tried his best to fight for the both of them but her demons were much stronger. This story was both sad and heartbreaking and I loved how Natisha developed these two characters! The story flowed really well and had just the right amount of everything! I definitely recommend adding this one to your list just be sure to read the trigger warnings!

Great story
This was a great story. I loved the relationship between Gemini and Nahziah. They started out as a one night stand and it grew from there. Gemini was so damaged and self destructive. Nahziah loved her through it all. I’m glad that they managed her demons and got their HEA.

What you know about love?!
This title for this story perfectly! Gemini was a soul spiraling out of control until Nahziah stepped into the picture. I love the way their relationship wasn’t perfect and how he fought for her until the end. Depression and addiction isn’t easy, and although Gem had her demons, she found the strength to get right.

Real life situations
This was a really good read and I expected nothing less because you’re a beast with that pen!! Nahziah and Gemini were made for one another but they had to learn to be patient, mature some more and communicate better. Nahziah was wrong for how he would snap out without fully listening or paying attention to the situation. Gemini went through something that would make the strongest person fold and at the time she just didn’t want better for herself. She just didn’t know that she needed Nahziah and that he was the kick start to her wanting to be better than she was. But I’m glad they got it together. Cannon was trash and a jealous hater. I’m also glad that Nahziah’s mom got herself together too, because he couldn’t take losing another parent. In end everything worked out how it was supposed to and I love that for them!!

Gemini is beautiful, stays to herself and bothers no one but she is empty inside. The first time Naziyah sees her he is hearing about her past but something about her intrigues him. At the club they hook up and a long journey for these two begins. Gemini loses here self in medicine, liquor and weed. She makes drops and that is her first encounter with Naziyah. The dope boy is trying to build his account, get his family out the hood and change his life. Natisha did an excellent job of bringing mental and physical challenges in relationships and to ones self. Postpartum and dysfunction in families. Single mothers and parents who choose tiers over their children. Bravo for these two! There are other tragedies and people in this story but I focused on these 2!

Great read
Whew! Ziah and Gemini were stressing me out lol. I was screaming at their arses like they could hear me. Everyone surely deals with grief differently. Ziah truly was one of a kind and from what Gem was dishing out, it wasn't for the weak. I loved them together! Baby Kaiden was a blessing in the midst of sorrow. Cannon had to be the LAST fool! I low key wanted Ziah to beat him off the strength alone that he was a bih arse nicca! Through it all, I'm just happy they got it together and was living their happily ever after. Hell, even DQ settled down for love. Awesome read

Enjoyed this standalone. This book was about depression, loss family and how to love! Gemini and Nahziah weren't looking for love fir different reasons, but when they met their desire for each other was electric. I love how Ziah was holding down Gemjnj and only want to help her move past the pain, Gemini wanted Ziah and all that he could give, she just didn't know how to receive! Going through a loss can be devastating! Depression is real and if you don't seek help it can hurt you. In the end love and.committment conquered. Ziah was able to do what was necessary to be Gemini rock and she was willing let Ziah know when she wasn't in a good state of mind!

I really enjoyed this book. Gemini is quiet and keeps to herself, but she’s dealing with a lot. Naziyah hears about her before he meets her, but something about her catches his attention. They hook up at the club, and their story takes off from there.
Gemini uses pills, liquor, and weed to cope. Naziyah is focused on making money and helping his family.
The author did a great job showing real struggles like mental health, postpartum, and family issues. There’s a lot going on, but Gemini and Naziyah’s story was my favorite. Great job!

So, so Amazing!!
Man this book was definitely worth the wait and money. Natisha hit on real life issues and the struggles of dealing with depression and grief all the while trying to love and be love. Nahziah and Gemini and something special and they had to struggle to deal the issues that affected their relationship sometimes things got tough and they were breaking up to make up but the love was real.

Keep them coming
I love when we are blessed with a new release from this author. Keep them coming! I love that this couple went through real life emotions and issues that preceded them even meeting and dating. We get to see them go through each stage from beginning to end and we learn them as they learn each other. Nahziah fell hard for Gemini. It was obvious from jump it wouldn’t be easy and at times I wondered if it would be worth it. I love the karma Cannon received 😂

Nahziah and Gemini had a lot to learn about being in a relationship Gemini depression was real but she did what she thought was helping her till Nahziah came alone and gave her something to think about her going to prison was a big decision to make to help herself Phenomenal book love it highly recommend this read promise you won’t be disappointed fire page turner

I love that postpartum depression was addressed and how everyone grieves differently. It was great to see Ziah was trying to help Gemini through her depression even though he didn’t know how exactly to help. I love that they didn’t give up on each other and were willing to fight for what neither of them have ever had, but knew they wanted. LOVE

I'm so glad Gemini got her stuff together. She was bout to lose a good man. Ziah is a real one for trying sticg it with her cuz babyyy she was dealing with some deep stuff. I'm glad they were able to have their happy ending. Great work as always Natisha. Loved it!! Can't wait for the next book. ❤❤

What You Know About Love !!
This topic is so rare so many people are fighting demons that they don't even talk about. My heart went out to Gemini she went through alot she lost a loved one. I do know that she was over doing it on the drugs she was taking . Gemini was like a knight and shining Armour he wanted to love her in spite of. Cannon got just what he deserved.

What You Know About Love
This book is a must read when two people connected with each other not knowing the meaning of love and found it in each other. Dish showed the true definition of unconditional love and fairly tales do come true. To the author you’re truly amazing and just gets better it time. I really loved this book because it involved real-life types of things. Gemini went thru so much while grieving. Nahziah was cool but he was making me mad at how quick he was to count Gemini out at certain moments. But I'm glad they both were able to grow and become better people. I don't want to give away too much so just buy the book and get into it you won't be disappointed.

Loved it!
Depression is definitely real and I loved the way that Ms. Raynor wrote this story. Gemini was suffering with depression and Nahziah was the all time party boy, but these two fell out in love. They endured several obstacles in their quest for love, but eventually got it together. Love really does endure all. Definitely worth reading!

Great standalone

Great read.Never disappointed with this author work. Gemini never dealt with her lost. Therapy would help her deal with it and Nahzish had to be patient. Glad they were able to work it out.

I love how the topic of mental health was explored and embraced. Post partum depression and depression as a whole affect black women every day and it's either looked over or swept under the rug. Great job Ms. Raynor!

I loved this book and I’m so happy that Nahziah and Gemini worked things out. He didn’t play about her taking those xans at all. I could tell that he loved her no lie and she loved him just as much. I’m glad that he decided to go to therapy with her and he left The drug game alone and opened up the mechanic shop I was happy. DQ and Denver was something else though. I couldn’t believe Cannon put her through so much stuff though.

Happy ending
I’m so glad that gem and ziah found they way back to each other in the end. I was cheering for them as I read. I love them together and I loved the man that ziah was almost perfect in my eyes.
