Wow!! ...I just finished the second book in the winning ace series, and could not turn my pages fast enough! The author continues her tale of tennis ace Cash and girlfriend Natalia, a journalist, with a fast-paced story that drags you along quickly as you try to keep up. The characters are wonderful, with incredible scenes that emote so much romance, fear, happiness, and terrible sadness that I was holding my breath while reading. I thoroughly enjoy the author's style of writing and can not wait for the third story to be told!!

No UNFORCED ERRORS in LOSING GAME

Tracie Delaney presses her advantage to the full in this fast-paced sequel to Winning Ace. As an author, she is a force to be reckoned with by continuing to deliver high-energy, quick-witted prose.

The genius of Tracie Delaney’s writing is in its simplicity. The short chapters ensure that the reader cannot help but keep turning the page to find out what will happen next. As a result, Losing Game is addictive.

It also gives the reader a healthy dose of conflict but quickly goes some way in resolving the loose ends left over at the end of Winning Ace.

Tracie Delaney incorporates various themes into the story which, we the readers can associate with (such as trust, forgiveness, patience, insecurity, domestic violence) and our bond with Cash and Tally strengthens as a result. They are not perfect. They make mistakes and handle situations badly. We understand and love them all the more for it.

Like any great tennis match, Losing Game is wholly unpredictable, lobbing us a game changing shot at the end.

The question remains “who will win this match or will it be GAME OVER for Cash and Tally?”. At this point, it’s difficult to call. The final part of the trilogy, Grand Slam cannot come soon enough for me.

Well done Tracie Delaney, another smash hit.

ENTHRALLING,PASSIONATE AND HEARTBREAKING.

These are just three words to discribe the second book 'Losing Game' in this trilogy by new author Tracie Deleaney,it was enthralling and the best so far that it kept my attention throughout where i struggled to put it down. And to think i was nervous starting this triogy from new Author Tracie, well i needed have worried as i loved it.

This had me gripped right from the off and drew me in with Cash wooing Tally again as he needed to get his secret out for them to get back on track and wow what a huge secret it was, life changing if this ever got out to the public but it was also heartbreaking for Cash.

There was a lot of banter ,laughter and romance along the way with Cash and Tally throughout this book even though Cash was having a few problems in his Tennis game, where he needed alot of extra training but nothing he couldn't handle.

Was loving the romance between these two Cash and Tally even when the bomshell that was his secret had to come out to the press, but for his adoring fans to back him all the way they got through this and came out the other side, with lots of up's and down's along the way.

Tracie put me through the ringer as the emotions that she got me feeling was agonising, as i even threw this book down and couldn't pick it back up for awhile until i got myself under control, just to then pick this back up to read on.Wow you definitly put me through lots of emotions, heartbreak with twists and turns,i didn't want this book to end, your thrilling writting had me hooked on every page right up until the end.

Dam you lady you can be a crule Author but i wouldn't want it any other way,you have now left me hanging wanting and needing to find out what happens in the last book of this amazing, awesome trilogy that is Winning Ace.

This second book is a must read for lovers of sport romance,i am a avid reader of alot of books from thrillers to romance,to get me gripped in a series wanting more does not happen to often,so if i tell this book has it all right from the start and has left me bereft wanting lots more tells you alot about this author Tracie Delaney.A must read.

I've just finished Tracie's second book in the Winning Ace series, Losing Game, which continues the story of Cash and Talia. I won't give the game away by talking about the plot but what I will say is that Tracie has delivered another enthralling book that has you hooked from start to finish. There are plenty of aces delivered in Tracie's unique, pacey and thrilling style. Definitely recommend this and I can't wait for the next installment!

For the first book I was in love with Tally - my new bestie and all that. But this book was all about Cash Gallagher and what a love affair! I wanted to be all over Cash like a summer rash. Yummy!

I think that says something about this rather new author's talent. The way she has created the characters and now has me a reader at the complete mercy of her and her characters - I kinda like it! But making us wait for Tally and Cash's resolution is quite cruel. Actually it's super super mean.
Perhaps she's working on Rupe's book, let's hope so he's extra cute.

The missing half a star? Well, I'm not much for artistic licence I'm a bit too b&w for that. So, personally I needed more about Rachel's prognosis and recovery to buy into it. And having worked on enough media scandals I felt there was stuff missing in the PR stuff. But it won't affect anyone's enjoyment of this cracker.

Thank you to the author for offering to relieve my misery waiting for book two with an ARC. This is my honest review.

I've been on tender hooks waiting for part 2 of this fabulous series by Tracie Delaney. Winning Ace finished on a big cliff hanger, so I was very happy to find the issues were tackled early on. Secrets are revealed that could make or break them. Cash and Tally are one hot couple (and Cash is one hot guy) with tons of chemistry and I loved this next chapter of their relationship.

Losing Game does have a slightly different dynamic to it, Cash and Tally are already a couple, so their relationship is building and growing, not just starting out. However there is no shortage of drama, tension, anguish and heart ache, together with a very healthy dose of sexy romance that kept me glued to the pages!

Fantastic book, although the evil author has done it to us once more. My hooks are now tendered again, so I hope the conclusion of this thoroughly enjoyable, superbly written journey in to the world of tennis (and of course love) arrives on my kindle sharpish!

Smashed it!

Well I thought after reading book 1 that Cash still had a way to go to win me over. In Losing Game, he did just that. And virtually from the start too! I wanted more emotion from Cash and he gave it to me. His closely guarded past was revealed and he managed to thaw my heart.

In book 2 Tally discovers the secrets Cash had been hiding, and that she'd understandably come to the wrong conclusions about him. Taking it slowly, their relationship gets back on track and Cash gets back to business on the tennis court. Now the story could be left there, with Cash and Tally, but oh no, Tracie Delaney cleverly draws out all of your emotions. And as for the ending!

If you want a Wimbledon fix, come and try this tension filled game of betrayal, trust, passion and love. And did I mention the ending??? Can't wait for book 3 from this talented author.

Wow... what more can I say about the second book in this series.

I absolutely love Tally and Cash and the traumatic relationship they have to endure. There are so many outside influences that seem intent on destroying this happy bond, but mostly these guys stick together and overcome everything that is thrown in their path... or do they?

Cash is determined to win Tally back after a misunderstanding tore them apart. Can they ever rekindle the desire that threw them together in the first place?

Tally is a shadow of her former self while they are parted, one day Cash turns up on her doorstep and is forced to divulge a secret he's kept from the world for donkey's years, but will this be enough to win Tally back? Tally has an emotional rollercoaster ride to endure before that can happen.

This is the first of many challenges ahead of them in this awesome sequel, one that I devoured in a matter of days. I laughed and cried my way through this book and I think you will too.

Definitely looking forward to reading the final episode in the stunning, tension-filled series.

Ah my beloved Cash is back...at long last. It has felt so very long and yet hasn't really been a long wait between Winning Ace and Losing Game. I've completely fallen in love with Cash all over again. He's complicated and temperamental but he's completely lovable and sexy and all wrapped up in an Irish bow.

So Losing Game picks up from where Winning Ace left off, Tally is completely distraught at the though that Cash may have cheated on her and is staying in Brighton, supposedly incognito. She is trying, trying being the operative word, to move on with her life. Difficult to do when your feelings are very much alive.
Cash needs Tally in his life and he's willing to do whatever it takes to win her back. Even if that means confessing his big secret. A secret he knows he is taking a big risk in sharing.
There are so many challenges facing them. Will they be able to overcome them?
Well you're just going to have to read the book and find out.

Seriously though, what a second instalment. If the first book was the head, this book is the belly and the heart. Its filled with tension and angst. Its the nitty gritty. It has it in spades. The storyline is so thick that it leaves you reeling for days.
I think that's what makes it a fabulous story you know? Tracie has this way of leaving you 'staring at the fireplace, thinking and mouthing the word WOW.' (Well that's how I found myself after reading the book.)

I can't wait for the third book, you just know it's going to be the epic finale.

Wow this a must read this year! Will make your heart race and your palms sweat. I could not put this book down. The second installment in the love story of Cash and Tally is absolutely fantastic and will certainly leave you begging for more. I cried laughed and felt every emotion possible during the ups and downs of this story and the end left me screaming. I cannot wait to read more .. Tracie Delaney has done it again and left me heartbroken waiting for the third installment.

Book Review For: Losing Game: A Winning Ace Novel by Tracie Delaney ' Losing Game' by Tracie Delaney is Book Two in The Trilogy "Winning Ace". This book continues the story of Natalia 'Tally' McKenzie and Cash Gallagher. I do feel that you should read the first book 'Winning Ace" since that starts their story. This book picks up about three weeks after Tally was sent pictures of Cash with another women. Tally is in hiding and trying to deal with her broken heart...she is thinking of making the move to a freelance writer so that she can stay on the move from Cash. Although she feels that the brief affair with her teenage Idol will not break her she is having a struggle moving past it. Love can do that...it just won't let go even if her mind is trying too. But Cash does find her and confronts her...but will she listen to his story? Of Course she does! Cash's secrets start to come out and Tally learns what he has been hiding. Be aware though...this book does set you up for their next installment into their story and hopefully their happy ending.... which is book three....the Grand Slam.

And the ups and downs of true love and life continue…

So refreshing to be a part of how a relationship stutters and deepens and explodes as it weathers the storms life throws. No insta-love here, no twitchy misunderstandings followed by a bit of lip-locking and rumpy-pumpy for an all’s well in the world once more. Oh no, the tribulations and tests are regular and ‘real’ and engrossing.

Winning Ace (Book 1) introduced the turbulence that is Tally and Cash, and Losing Game (Book 2) follows this couple on their emotional journey towards a possible happy ever after.

Emphasis on ‘possible’, because Ms. Delaney keeps us hanging with all the skill of a Mistress of Tease. Both characters have grown, Tally’s even more assertive in her own quiet, determined way, and Cash is more trusting (and just as hot). But that’s still no guarantee that this pair will reach their nirvana. Nope, as is now her trademark, Ms. Delaney hides things up her sleeves—and her arms are bloody long!

Allow Tally and Cash, their heat and vitality into your life and you won’t want them to ever leave. Highly recommended. 4.5* rather than 5* because the ending crucified me and though it’s but a couple of months until the concluding volume of the series ‘Grand Slam’ is available, I’m fiercely impatient.

I just finished book one a few days ago. It was fresh in my mind and I was burning to get a hold of this one and start the adventurous romance of Cash and Tally. I just was not completely expecting to get what I got.

This one was fast pace and hard hitting. There was something around every page turned. There was this build of anticipation. The passion. The chemistry. The energy. The stamina. The witt and banter. The pain and sorrow. There will be heartbreak. If you read book one, which is a must to move forward, you do not want to miss book two. This one will be explosive in many ways.

Wow. At the end of Winning Ace I was really not happy with the cliffhanger, so I have waited patiently for Losing Game. The moment it hit my kindle I dropped everything to read. I have a love, hate relationship with this book. This book in an emotional rollercoaster for Tally and Cash. I spent most of the book wanting to hug Tally. Cash at times I wanted to slap him on the back of his head. There are a few things that were not answered for me in this book, but I hope they will be answered in the next one. I enjoyed this emotional, frustrating, sexy at times, eventful book. I can't wait for the next book. I recommend this book but read Winning Ace first so you understand what has happened.

The second of three books about Ace and Tally..the story continues from where we left off. What I think is clever about this book, is that I think you could still read this without having read the previous book.
This book is just as addictive as the first book..we continue to read about the two characters but rather than go into detail, you need to read it for yourself.
I honestly can't wait for the next installment and hopefully I'll love it like the previous two!!

Wow. Another rollercoaster of a ride as we pick up with Cash and Tally just after the epic cliff hanger of book 1.

Tracie has a knack for getting into the psyche of her characters. For making us feel their emotions as if they were our own.

I spent a fair amount of time holding my breath followed by ear to ear grins.

And once again, Tracie leaves us with a jaw dropping ending while we wait for the next book.

After the cliff hanger at the end of Winning Ace, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Losing Game, and it didn’t disappoint! It is every bit as good as the first book, taking Tally and Cash further on their journey.

I don’t want to give the plot away, but what I will say is that Tracie Delaney really put me through the emotional wringer in the later stages of the book. It is testimony to how good her writing is, that I was so invested in the characters that it really got to me at times. Now I can’t wait for the third book to find out what happens next!

The whole book was him winning her back and clearing up the cheating accusation.
Then the ending, he sends her away. He has his reasons but to me it felt pointless all the effort he put in from page 1.
Ends on a cliff hanger, well a to be continued....

I loved the first book and was so excited to start the second one especially with how Winning Ace ended. I just can’t deal with cliffhangers and was so happy that I didn’t have to wait too long for the second book. So, lucky for me the second book picked up not long after the story in the first one ended. I was worried that it would be dragging because who knew where the story would go and if Tally would be heartbroken for most of the book. Anyway, I worried for nothing because the writing was as captivating as in the first book and I loved the dynamic between the characters and the fast pace. Let’s just say that I fell in love with the story all over again. =)

Whereas Winning Ace was much more about the characters fighting against all odds for a chance to be together and learning to deal with the different life and perspective of the other, Losing Game revolved much more around the second chance and what else awaits them, especially for Cash and his career. Let's just say that enemies aren't always easy to distinguish and they sometimes are people but may also come as a twist of fate. So, when it suddenly hits you, it's too late to do anything about it and no matter how many “what if's” you come up with, there is just one way to deal with it -> Head on and with your head held high. But this is easier said than done when all you can think of is the loss it brought with it.

The Story:
Tally ran. When she saw the photos of Cash kissing another woman, she was beyond devastated about his betrayal. Cheating is the only one thing she won’t forgive no matter of how much her heart hurt.
Cash has always been stubborn and determined at getting what he wanted. When Tally left him, he was torn between telling her his secret and putting everything at risk that he’d build so far, or letting her go and keeping his secrets. Because there’d be no way in getting her back without telling her the truth. Risking his career, he tracks Tally down and makes up his mind, that he can’t live a life without her in it. But what will the consequences be? Will there be any at all? Nobody has a perfect life but people like to believe so.
'The swaying from one thing to another was making her head spin. Why couldn't life be simpler?'

Thoughts:
I loved it!! There was so much going on I can't even say what I loved most!
This book was anything and nothing what I'd expected because at first, I felt like I knew most of what was coming and I anticipated most that happened but it didn’t really bother me. There might’ve been something that not everyone would agree on and which is a matter of opinion and believes. I was a bit torn about it but decided in the end it’s just a part of a whole and I just rolled with it. (If you're curious, I'm talking about Rachael and the press stuff.)

Anyway, there was a certain point where the story took a huge turn and got somewhat harder for the characters and became much more emotional (with reason of course!). I absolutely loved it although it was tough to read because I felt so close to the characters that it felt like I was right in the middle of their emotional disaster. The only thing that bothered me a bit (besides Tally's constant change of mind in the beginning) was how fast it all happened. At least it felt for me like it happened in a blink of an eye and I don't mean what put the characters in this position but everything else after that felt a little rushed. It made for a fast pace which I liked but at the same time I would have loved to have a bit more of preparation time and details.

There’s not much else to say actually because I loved the second book as much as the first one. For all I know it could have been one huge book because the story rolled so easily and was really enjoyable to read! As in the first, there were also some ups and downs in the story, most of which were predictable (though not all) but it didn’t take away any excitement or suspense no matter which course the story took. It reminded me of a quote from a movie 'It's the perfect combination of sweet and sexy'. That's how I felt about most of the book but it was not just funny and romantic but also really emotional when you least expected it.
“Why didn't you come into my life sooner?' She gave the secret smile she kept only for him. “Because you weren't ready for me until now.”

This was again a highly addictive read and I'm in desperate need of book #3!!

Tally and Cash return with a bang in the second book of the intoxicating Winning Ace series, and I literally did not put this book down until I had reached the very last page - but beware, it will leave you desperately wanting the third book!

Tally is heartbroken when she sees photos of Cash's betrayal and needs time to get her head straight. Hiding out in Brighton she just cannot understand why he would do that to her after everything that had happened between them? But looks can be deceiving and with Cash hot on her heels desperate to tell her the truth once and for all, Tally will soon learn all there is to know about the man she adores.

The road to love and happiness is never straightforward and as Cash and Tally vow that their love will stand strong against anything that life throws at them, little do they realise that this will soon be tested. With ups and downs, love and heartbreak, will love win the day for Tally and Cash, or is it game, set and match on their relationship for the final time?

Smooth, exciting, and sexy as always, LOSING GAME by Tracie Delaney is everything I hoped it would be and more. I fell even more in love with the characters (if that was possible) and this series at every turn of the page, and I cannot wait to get my hands on the third book!
LOSING GAME is perfectly paced with something for everyone (sport, romance, drama), and is a must-read for all romance fans.

I'm going to start with stating that Losing Game is book 2 in the Winning Ace series, so let me be crystal clear, YOU MUST READ WINNING ACE FIRST! Now that I got that out of the way, I'm on to my insane, over the top dramatic emotions, and trust me, they're out creating havoc everywhere. I'm completely jacked up seven ways from Sunday, and pissed as all hell after finishing this book! Tracie Delaney, with her super talented writing style, has hooked me completely, and that's why I may or may not be repeating how pissed I am throughout this whole review! Cash and Tally have been put through the ringer with all of the push and pull of their journey, and their relationship has been picking up speed and depth throughout Losing Game. There are small twists and turns that lead up to one big WTF moment that has me on edge, and that's where Cash has pissed me the hell off. Let me be clear, I'M ON TALLY'S side 100%, and feel like he needs to be junk punched all day and every day. I hash tagged this brilliant author #EVILWHORE after Winning Ace's ending, but she's taken it up a notch with Losing Game! Now she has been promoted to an #EVILWHOREQUEEN in my land of #EVILWHOREDOME after this ending, plus I'm not sure that I'll EVER forgive Cash for his questionable douchey choices, so it will be interesting to see if Ms. Delaney's brilliance can pull it off in Grand Slam! Only time will tell........HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this emotional journey to ALL!

Now we are starting to get to understand and connect with the characters better!

Cash has kept his secrets so close that he's lost the one woman who has made him feel anything in years. She challenges him in the best of ways and makes him feel as if he's worthy of someone as good as Tally. So now Cash will have to make a decision. Does he finally expose his secrets to Tally and hope she still loves him? Or does he keep the secret close and risk losing the one woman who could complete him.

Once Cash has given Tally all of his secrets she's ready to give their relationship another try. However, fate is a fickle...well you know the saying. She has other plans for this couple. Will they be able to come out on top?

Once again, I am captivated by Tracie Delaney's Words! Losing Game starts off where we left off at the ending of Winning Aces! We finally get some answers and find out if Cash is able to redeem himself with Tally or not.

The book is once again filled with sweet romantic moments and lots of new drama. What an emotional rollercoaster ride this book is.

It's another love/hate relationship between Cash and I. He once again has his sweet, endearing moments but then again there was a time or two that I wanted to smack him. From the beginning I have always been on Team Tally and Cash though. Life always seems to want to pull them apart. Will secrets be revealed? Will hearts be broken again? Grab your copy to find out!

I enjoyed learning more about the INS and OUTS of both Cash and Tally. But damn...the ending girl....I need the next book STAT!

I loved this book, the second in the Winning Ace trilogy - the relationship between Tally and Cash is brilliant and I thoroughly enjoy the interaction between them and this is just what makes the book so good for me.

There are quite a few challenges in this book for their relationship and I really enjoyed that at times I wanted to laugh, cry and hug them - just a fantastic book and so glad I was introduced to this author.

Losing Game is the second novel in the series and to have the best reading experience, the books are best read in order - you also get to read the fantastic first book in the series this way too!  Looking forward to the final book in the series!! 5 stars from me xxx

Well....huh. Same reaction I had to the first book. Author is talented but I cannot seem to get into the h of this story. I'm somehow completely locked into Cash.

The way she ran out on him last time without confronting him, her "bestie" if I never see Em again I'll be happy, etc. it's holding me back on giving this series a 5 star. I think we all have suspicions on who did that to Cash, and well who bloody let that crazy back into their lives, eh? Ugh.

I am however reading, intrigued and think the authors talented but I better see some groveling coming from somewhere other than Cash, the man has Honestly been nothing but spot on & Forced to reveal very personal stuff he shouldn't have had to, he's been put thru the ringer & I don't blame him for losing his cool. IMO, she needs to give him a bit of space.

Will read book three.

It's a five star book but the fact that it's a cliff hanger series takes one away. Shame. The reason is that it takes me so long to remember book one that I feel I lost something somewhere along the way. The original vibe is gone...until half way through or more.

STILL I'll be there for the next one. I think I would wait until series is bundled cause it is a good story.

Wow! I’ve just finished reading and I’m in an emotional state. This is an amazing and awesome book. Cash and Tally have taken residence in my head and I cannot get them out nor do I want to. This was an excellent part 2 in the Winning Ace series. So emotional and heart rendering as we watch Cash and Tally relationship soar through mountains and valleys. Delaney has won me over with this well written and entertaining series. I can’t get enough. Well done 👍!!

I loved the first book in this series and would definitely recommend starting there. That said, Losing Game was phenomenal. I love this author’s writing style and all the British English inflections throughout the dialogue. Tracie is extremely talented, and I look forward to reading more from her.

We learn a lot more about Cash in this book, which I loved, but most of all, I enjoyed watching Cash and Tally’s relationship grow. There is so much heartache and love in their story, and I’m now eagerly awaiting the final installment. There is another cliffhanger, but I didn’t feel this one was as torturous as the last one because we know where both characters stand. Still, I would like the next book today :) Oh, and I would also love more Rupe!!!!
