Bound is the second book in the Torzial series by Via Mari. This series really captivated me, and I’ve loved every minute that I have spent between its pages. I really liked Ms. Mari’s Prestian series, so I knew I would like this series too, especially as it focuses on character/s that we met in the Prestian books- who now get their own books/series. But I can honestly say that this book (and the series as a whole) are now my favourite reads of Ms. Mari’s. They have eclipsed the Prestian series, in my eyes, and left me needing more of Ms. Mari’s work.
This book picks up right where book one left off, so I really recommend reading that book first before starting on this one, so you are up to date with all the important factors and exciting developments- and are able to follow all the interconnected threads of the storyline. You don’t need to have read the Prestian books to enjoy this series, but as it has some shared/ recurring characters, as well as some timeline/storyline elements- I would advise you to- as it will definitely enhance your reading pleasure.
As with the first book, this is a romantic suspense that’s full of action, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, humour, mystery, lots more sexual exploration & awakening, some light bondage, spanking, red hot sizzling scenes, mafia, and lots of intrigue. There is a lot happening in the story, but Ms. Mari choreographs the whole thing seemingly effortlessly, keeping me enthralled- and in anticipation. Ms. Mari really seems to have hit her stride with these books, and is totally comfortable and at ease with her craft- which really shows in this really well written and captivating book!
After the intense developments in the last book, we find things are only intensifying for Jenny and Brain. She has become the primary suspect in the murder of her ex, and as if that weren’t enough for anyone to have to contend with, the mafia has put a target on her back. Jenny is still trying to come to terms with her own horrific ordeal- and Brian has had a lot to do with her being able to piece herself back together again. Brian wants her to trust him to protect her and relinquish ‘control’ to him- as he’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect her. But as more and more ‘evidence’ begins to mount, will he start to lose faith in her? Will these doubts drive them apart? Could she ever really trust him with her heart?
I really love these two, they are such fantastic characters- superbly crafted, with fully developed and complex personalities. I was completely immersed in their story, emotionally invested in them and their ‘lives’- strung out on all the detail, reading anxiously to discover what happens to them.
This is primarily a suspense- with a great erotic romance woven through it. I love how Via Mari is able to build such intense tension, chemistry, and intrigue- but manages to balance it all with lots of emotion, and a little humour.
The story does continue into the next book, but as you may have guessed by now, I didn’t take a break between books, and read the entire series back to back!
I can’t wait to see what she does next!

When reading Bound, I fell in love with Jenny and Brian all over again, seeing the stress, the pain and the struggle that Jenny is going through in trying to get over the brutal rape that Ty did to her she is given a chance with Brian in starting a new life slowly through him. but in the mean time there is a murder, there are forces inside Brian's, the Prestian company and in Katarina's father's family that are trying their best to either take over the companies one by one or separately but in the process have Jenny being blamed for murder, and loved characters being hurt.
In Bound, you will fall in love with each character that are involved closely to Jenny and Brian, you will see who is trusted and especially you will find that there are so many surprises that Via has totally blown what ever you would be thinking while reading will happen... won't.
Via has really pulled character's together so real that you will possibly in your mind think that they are real, the scenery, the actions and the feelings that all the character's are feeling ...you will feel too. Via has really shown that her books especially in The Prestian Series and now with The Torzial Affair are truly outstanding books!!! To me, I think that these books are way so much better than Fifty Shades of Gray.
Bound is the second book in the Series so if you haven't read Shattered you will need to read it first, if not going and start reading The Prestian Series... you will want to keep reading Via Mari's books as each and every one comes out...

Bound by Vai Mari is the second book in her The Torzial Affair series. I highly recommend reading the first book before this one as this one picks up where the other left off. This is a must series as this author's writing style is so addicting that she leaves you wanting more. Her plot is easy flowing and creative. Her characters took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I laughed and shed a few tears. They took me on a journey of twists and turns that I didnt see coming but wanted more of. In this installment of the series, Jenny's past is still coliding with her present. She is still on the edge with Brian. Jenny finds herself into some legal trouble and relationships are questioned. Threats just seem to keep coming for Jenny, will she be able to come out okay? Their relationship is hot and steamy but has some trust issues that need to be dealt with. What will happen with Jenny and Brian? Will Jennys past take over her life? I loved these two characters. They both have attitudes and have butted heads a few times. They are strong but strong willed as well. He just wants to keep her safe and she doesn't want to be controlled. They make such a great couple that I found my heart breaking for them sometimes. You don't want to miss what happens with them for sure! I highly recommend this book. Find out if Jenny can be free of her past and if trust issues are left behind.

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2) by Via Mari is amazing. This incredible series just gets better and better. Via has woven a superb web of betrayal and deceit that has more twists and turns than a road in the mountains. This complex and multifaceted and multidimensional story had me spellbound as I turned page after page not knowing where the story would take me. My heart was often in my throat as I followed along with these wonderful characters that have found their way into my heart and soul. It is one sexy, steamy and erotic read that will leave you in need of a cold shower.
Jenny is caught up in something she has no idea about but the repercussions are a matter of life and death, not only to herself but all those around her and the evidence just seems to pile up and up. There is only one person she can trust but it seems even that may be displaced.
Brian is trying to do everything he can to help the woman who has come to mean so much to him. It seems that for every step forward they end up taking several back. Who is behind this trouble and who can he trust? Will he walk away from the one who needs him the most when he is confronted evidence that implicate the worst?
Via is an author not to be missed. I am so excited to read the next book in this brilliant series.

Another heart stopping book.
This is the 2nd book in this series. And again Author Via Mari kept me on the edge of my seat. I read this book in one night. There was no way I could put it down. This is the 2nd book about Jenny and Brian. And they have a great storyline. Every time I read a new book by this author I say it's my favorite book so far. And yes now I think this is my favorite book. But, I was asking myself how every book seems to get better and better. I think it all boils down to the author. When you write a series you have to be able to continue the story. And make the storyline even better so we as readers don't get board. This author has that gift, her stories just get better and better. Even when the series is done, you want more. This book has on the edge of your seat action, intrigue, steamy scenes, BDSM, love also problems. But I recommend this book to anyone above 18+. The author definitely wrote another amazing book. I can't wait for the next book.

Absolutely love Via Mari’s work! Just in the past few days I have suddenly found myself with a new favorite author!
Via Mari’s Book 2, “Bound” is such an amazing piece and it complements the first book very well. Again, as in book 1, “Shattered” we find believable character portrayals and the hunger, lust and love is represented well. That angst of new love, ah, you can feel it as you read between the two main character chapters. The book is written from two different point of views, the male and female characters. You can see just how vastly different women and men think and process ideas, assumptions, irritations and the like. I simply loved the continued love story between Jenny and Brian... in book 1 Jenny's ex-boyfriend was killed and Jenny got framed. The Hot COO Brian.. and I mean sizzling has swooped up on the beautiful Jenny.. but then again Jenny has stolen his heart for keeps. ... Bound is just as Sizzling with lots of fun and action.. a definite page turner in more ways then one.
I can not wait until book 3 is out... I need know what happens next...

Oh Via Mari! What an awesome book! Pins and Needles! A lot of talking out loud to myself. I was like "no she didnt" "WTH?" "I didnt see that coming" and the ending? OMG I need the next book like right now!
This author really knows how to weave a great story. Her storys are gripping and suck you into the world of the characters and what goes on around them. I cant wait to see what she brings me next!

On the edge of my seat
The love affair between Jenny and Brian kept me captivated. The suspense throughout the book with the Ty scandal was great. This new spinoff from Kate and chase is just as great and then some. A must read. I’m ready for the next book!!

This book has more of suspense in itself which was a pretty nice thing.
Jenny is pretty Good character That gives reliable vibe. She is not ideal.
Brian... I liked his character but not Loved ad Chase's. Still Good one.

Absolutely loving Via Mari's work, page turning unexpected hot and steamy. Jenny and Brian's relationship takes on some crazy situations that keep you interested and wanting more. Cant wait to see what comes next.

Bound (The Torzial Affair Book 2) by Via Mari. This is the second book in the Torzial Affair series and you really need to read book 1 to understand this book. Its the story of Jenny Torzial & Brian Carrington who we met in Book 1 briefly. Jenny is a successful business woman, sexy, independent woman and Brian owns a major company and is used to women only wanting him for his money and title. Jenny and Brian are just getting to know each other and really have feelings for each other when Jenny is accused of killing her ex Ty. Ty had ties to the mafia so they are after Jenny as well. Brian is doing everything he can to keep Jenny from spending the rest of his life in jail but money can't buy everything. He's also being told that Jenny is just like all the other girls and just wants him for his money. Will Jenny be found guilty of murder or will she be found innocent. Will Brian let down his guard enough to trust Jenny really cares about him or will he believe all the lies being told about her. Its such a good series and each book gets better. I can't wait for the 3rd!

Often times the second book of a trilogy is the weakest. A book that connects the first and third and is mainly filler. That is NOT the case with BOUND!!!!
This installment of the series moves very quickly and intensely. It is a mystery/suspense with a game of cat and mouse thrown in for good measure. Oh and consensual BDSM and exploring sexual appetites.
Told in a dual point of view, this story takes us on a rollercoaster of emotion and energy. There is so much I would like to say about the story, but I don't want to give anything away.
I will simply say... Read this book, it's good!!

Bound is book two in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. The story of Jenny and Brian continues in this action filled, dramatic saga. This style of writing is very addictive and I found it quite hard to get anything done, other than to keep reading!
There is always so much going on in a Via Mari novel, but not too much that it is hard to keep up with the story. The plot is easy to follow, but also intensely mysterious. Many twists make this story unputdownable. It had a way of creeping past your defences and captivating you until you are at the last word of the book. A total escape from reality. Bound is a tale to immerse yourself into with wild abandon. Ever the entertainer, always pages upon pages of intrigue. 4 stars.

Jenny is accused of murdering her ex and is thrown into a heated dispute between mafia groups. This novel picks up right where book one ended and continues the story. I felt that this second book had more detail and action in it than the first book. The characters still moved around a lot but due to the circumstances with Jenny, it was understandable. I felt that Jenny and Brian's characters were given more depth. I also liked having more background on Matt who was originally assigned to protect Jenny by Chase. I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more in this series.

This is the second book of the series and it was just as amazing as the first installment. It really had me captivated i was completely pulled into the pages i was eager to read on, just couldn't set it down . It had enough action and drama to keep me on my toes and also had me laughing/smiling at times too. I'm eager to read more from this author, can't wait to be taken on another emotional rollercoaster!!

Jenny just can't seem to catch a break, she is dealing with one thing after another. How she is able to come through without being a hot mess I have no idea. Any one of those things would have left me a blubbering pile of tears.
Brian finally grows up! He exerts his dominance over Jenny and all of the messed situations they are all going through.
I love Matt. That is all. 😉

That proves to be a full time job with the mafia an ever present danger and the legal system determined to convict Jenny for the murder of her ex boyfriend. While Brian stays busy fighting the external forces that threaten her, Jenny continues to battle her internal demons. Allowing Brian to dominate Jenny in the bedroom is exactly what Jenny had always wanted, but she maintained a level of control over her life outside of the bedroom. Can Brian continue to keep Jenny safe without Jenny feeling like she's lost control of every aspect of her life? Will Jenny ever get to live her life without looking over her shoulder and wondering what, or who, will come for her next?
Via Mari does not disappoint with book 2 in her series!

Bound picks up right where Shattered stopped. Via Mari does an amazing job that keeps you engaged with the story that makes you want to read more and more. I highly recommend plan on finishing the book. Like any journey there are bumps, twists, and turns, this story is no different. With any relationships there are a few foundations that you lay down because if one of the blocks are broken so is the relationship. I do not want to give too much away but this story will keep you on your toes and see what everyone is up too with the story.

Bound is the second book in the Torzial Affair series. You should read the previous book first to get the full picture. It ends in a cliffhanger.
Where the previous book focuses more on the budding relationship between Jenny and Brian, this book focuses on the danger elements surrounding Jenny. I found this story very…busy, I guess is the best way to describe it. There is a lot going on and at times it seems like a little too much. I kept up with the story line, but it seems like there was a bunch of action crammed into a small time frame.
I also found Brian to be a bit of a jerk in this story. He talks about trust, but the way he handles some of the stuff with Jenny, well, he’s expecting a lot at certain points in the story. But it is fiction so…
Bound has plenty of action and steamy scenes. A good few hours of entertainment.

Bound, the second book in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari picks up right where Shattered left off. This installment ramped up the action to the point that my heart was racing from the first page to the very last page. Where I felt a little like I was missing part of the story with Shattered, Bound definitely made up for that as it was definitely easier to follow. Jenny’s past is still haunting her in this book and she can’t seem to escape, but where she only had to worry about one person’s deviousness, she now has a big target on her back from another, worse entity.
I definitely enjoyed this story over the first book, maybe due to the fact that it didn’t dwell on what had happened in the author’s previous series but centered around Jenny and Brian and what they were dealing with. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series now especially since this one just seemed to end at an integral part of the storyline.

Bound is the second book in The Torzial Affair by Via Mari. Jenny is such a strong independent woman will she be able to let Brian protect her by taking control of things outside of the bedroom? I didn’t think I could fall any more in love with Brian and Jenny. I love the way Jenny still knows how to push Brian buttons.
Via, another great book that kept me glued to my kindle with every page. Bound was just as steamy and non-stop twists just like Shattered. I can’t wait to see how this series is going to end.

Bound by Via Mari is an incredibly entertaining read! It’s the second book in The Torzial Affair series, a series that should be read in order as this book follows where the first book left off. After reaching the end of Book 1 I couldn’t wait to dive into this book, and I was certainly not disappointed with how this story played out.
This storyline is intense, captivating, addicting, suspenseful, twisted and action-packed! I was hooked from the very first chapter and I ended up reading it in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down. There were so many twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat and had my heart racing which kept me highly engaged the whole way through.
I can’t wait to dive into the third book to get answers to all my questions. I would absolutely recommend this book and series to others!

The Torzial Affair Book 2: Bound written by Via Mari. I was pretty excited for this book after reading book one, Shattered. I love reading Jenny’s story even though it’s sad, disturbing at times and super stressful with everything she’s been through and going through it makes you wonder if her life is ever going to get better and stay positive for more than a few weeks at a time. Ty has done a lot of damage to her life as a whole and even from the grave his actions are a direct threat to her and Torzial. You learn a lot about Matt in this story where he’s normally more of a secondary character he becomes more present and out of the shadows. I’m even more excited to see how book three (Claimed) goes and if Jenny ever gets her chance at happily ever after.

Another spellbinding page turner from Via Mari! This book picks up right where the first ended. I was captivated immediately and couldn’t walk away before I finished reading the entire book. The characters are complex and still relatable. Mari has a unique voice and uses her talents to weave such a strong story that the reader is immediately transported into the story. Wholeheartedly recommended. Simply couldn’t put it down!
