Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is the first book in the Kiss Me series by Danielle Jacks. This is my second read by Ms. Jacks and it has become my favourite of hers, so far. This is a bit of a steamy romance- with a fake relationship, misunderstandings, a tangled web, tension, drama, emotion, and a little angst.
Zoe’s seemingly perfect life crumbles around her, leaving her somewhat adrift. But will a spontaneous decision end in more heartache? You’ll have to read the story to find out!
A fun read!

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes by Danielle Jacks is the first book in the Kiss Me series. At 160 pages, a fairly quick read, the story is given between the two main characters, Damien and Zoe, giving each an ample amount of read time to explain and grasp each individual story and point of view while flowing delicately into a beautiful story.
Zoe doesn't want her family to know her life is falling apart. Damien wants revenge on his ex best friend. Two very separate lives they are living but they somehow reunite at the strip club Damien works at.
Two people who knew each other growing up and now have completely separate motives somehow come together as a part of the same plan. Revenge. Misunderstanding. Whatever the reason was these two fell into a fake relationship in order to fulfill both of their motives. Can this relationship be more than just an act? All the chemistry and steam, can it all actually be real?
This story makes you feel like you are a part of their plan. Their story. It keeps you entertained and continues to add little things that make the story just a little unexpected and leaves the reader just wanting to know what happens next. The romance and the chemistry and the steamy moments as well and all the heart strings and relatability in this story makes it such an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read the next books in this series.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is written by Danielle Jacks is the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and strong. The descriptions of the strippers wanted me to reach out and touch.


Zoe Merrill ran into her brother’s ex best friend Damien Chuke working as a stripper in a bar just to get by. Zoe moved to the city and her life just blew up in her face. Her family thinks she has a good job, and a smart boyfriend, but the reality is that she just lost them both.

Then walks in Damien and he saves the day and with this opportunity he gets revenge on her backstabbing brother is too sweet to resist. So, when bad news from home sets is world in a spin, he never thought Zoe would step up and that he would be re-introducing her to his family as his fiancée, but we can they go through with the wedding, can we or will they finally tell everyone their relationship is fake?

Will these two make it down the aisle? Can they have a happily ever after when everything started with a lie? Will they have a happily ever after?

Great book I highly recommend it….

I enjoyed this fun flirty story. It kept me turning pages with its drama and banter. I really never knew what these two would do next. I enjoyed how the story flowed so nicely and didn't seem forced at all.

The characters are delightful. Their dreams are different but as they come together they become blended into one. Damien and Zoe both drew me in with their honesty (with each other) and no nonsense attitudes.

The secondary characters are fun. The parents were great! I loved how enthusiastic they were about these two. How they saw something in each of the MC that they didn't see themselves. Then there is Tyler. The older brother ex best friend. He came on strong at the beginning and I doubted his sincerity about mending fences. But once the beans were spilled he became a guy we can all appreciate.

Overall this is a well rounded story. It kept my interest and I never got bored. This is a first time author for me and I look forward to more.

I really enjoyed this story. It made me laugh and cry and get frustrated all at the same time. The author does a great job with the characters and their stories are so relatable.

Damien is a stripper/dancer. He has always had big dreams of making in L.A.  but when his best friend screws up his audition it leaves him feeling bitter and more determined than ever.

One night at his club his ex best friends sister Zoe. Here is Damien's chance to get revenge on his ex best friend. Zoe plays right into his hands when she needs someone to act as her boyfriend.

One lie turns into three and their relationship/engagement snowballs. Is this all fake? Are there really feelings involved? Will Damien choose his shot at his dream for the love of his woman? Or will he leave his dreams and focus on her?

A beautiful story of love, emotion and angst between two people who decide to be crazy and realise life can really knock you off your feet. Danielle Jacks put her heart and soul into this book ensuring that you're emotionally invested throughout. Amazing 5 stars.

First off, this book is intended for 18+ so if you have a problem with "mature" scenes this book my may not be for you. This is not Erotica but there are some mature scenes throughout. Second, this book was written in British English, meaning British phrases and spellings was used throughout. Third, this book is the first in Jacks "Kiss Me" series, but it is a stand alone novel.

Dirty Kisses and conflicting wishes by Danielle Jacks was a very entertaining read. The first night I started this book, I planned on reading one chapter before bed. Before I knew it I was five chapters in. If it wasn't for the need of sleep for work I would have read this book in one sitting it was so good.

Jacks brought Zoe Merrill and Damien Chukes sizzling relationship to life with such force that their chemistry jumps of the page, or screen since I read this one on my kindle. What starts as a fake relationship benefiting them both quickly turns into a sticky, emotionally complicated mess of feelings. I have to say, I enjoyed the character building journey that Jacks took us on in this novel.

Zoe moves to London to try and better herself and stand on her own two feet. But when Zoe's life starts to be fall apart, the last thing she needs is a visit from her mother and brother.
Damien is a struggling actor, and was best friends with Zoe 's brother Tyler. So when Damien sees an opportunity to upset the apple cart he does. So all is not as it seems. This story covers a bit of everything, from betrayal, hate, love, and forgiveness. It's a nice read and all comes together perfectly. Can't wait for book two.

Zoe and Damian are phenomenal. I loved every single moment of their story laughing and dreaming with them. Zoe and Damian are friends/foes who have feelings for each other but don't want to admit it. By chance or maybe it was faith, it all begins with a little, innocent lie, and we'll find out that these two hate and love each other equally. It is simply fantastic.

This authors attention to detail and her characters are fun and realistic. This is Damien and Zoe’s story. Zoe’s world is about to blow up in her face and Damien is seeking revenge on his ex best friend. Find out what happens next in this must read. What happens when a situation occurs and her family thinks Damien is her new boyfriend? What happens when he introduces her to his family ad his fiance? I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is the first book in the Kiss Me series by Danielle Jacks. It’s the first time I had read any of this author’s work but I was intrigued by the blurb and decided to give it a go. I’m glad that I did as I enjoyed this book and will definitely read more from this series and this author.
In this book we get the story of Zoe Merrill. She’s just broken up with her boyfriend which has resulted in her losing her job and her home, so she’s pretty desperate. But a chance meeting with her brother’s ex-best friend Damien leads to a whole new life for Zoe.
I really enjoyed reading Zoe and Damien’s story. It’s quite a short book so I devoured it in a few hours. With Damien as her fake fiancé, Zoe’s life is pretty much turned upside-down but this makes for a great entertaining read which had me hooked and desperate to know how it all worked out.
There’s a lot of fun moments in the book as Zoe and Damien try to fight the attraction that they both have for each other.
This is a great read that I’d recommend.

I’ve just finished this book and wow! I loved it! From start to finish, it kept me wanting more. One little lie becomes a huge mess as Zoe introduces Damien to her family as her boyfriend and he in turn claims to be her fiancé. They both get sucked more and more into the tangled web of lies they’re creating. The characters are very relatable and I loved that we got to see both Damien and Zoe’s perspective. This is definitely a well written romance with characters that will make you laugh, cry, and get frustrated at. This is my first book by this author, but I can tell you it certainly won’t be my last!

So this is a story of the best laid out plan never fully go to plan.
Me meet Damien Chuke a struggling actor dancer and stripper. He waiting for his big break. The big break break he believe he would have already got if it wasnt for his so called best friend Tyler. Because that Tyler got the dream while he auditions constantly and in total bitterness. That is until he spots Zoe merrill in the strip club he works in to makes ends meet.
Zoe is Tylers brother and and couple yrs younger than Damien. But ever since high school she has had a crush on him. She hasnt seen him for a few years since Damian and her brother parted their friendship badly.
But those feels are still there.
If your expecting hearts and flowers in this one you wont find it this is a plan and a convenient way to help them both. And i love it. What can go wrong? Haha love maybe? How about everything?
A story of lies, misunderstandings and broken hearts.
I think everyone will love this short story.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is book one in the Kiss Me series written by Danielle Jacks. This is my first Danielle Jacks story and was excited to see what thrills awaited. The story is a fake relationship at the beginning, dramatic in the middle and fantastic at the end. A really enjoyable tale that was relatable and believable. Zoe and Damien are not strangers and events throw them into a fake relationship. Their journey is not without conflict and tension, but wow do they know how to wow a reader. Steamy and seductive, there were many dirty kisses and definite conflicting wishes. So aptly named, the author penned a riveting and sensually arousing drama that captivated and impacted. 4 stars.

This story was short and sweet with just enough detail to keep me captivated and intrigued. I loved all of the little details and the drama and of course the steamy banter. I really liked how this author managed to create two really great characters that were easy to connect with.

This was my first book by this author but it certainly won’t be my last! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next romance read!

I loved this book! I knew when I read the synopsis, I was excited to read it and I wasn’t wrong. It was such a captivating read and I loved every minute of it. This author is new to me and I can’t wait to read more from her in the future and Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is certainly an excellent start to ‘Kiss Me’ series! I really liked Damien, I liked him from the very beginning and the chemistry between him and Zoe was undeniable – even if they did try and deny it at times! I loved the plot surrounding these two, friends, enemies, slight forbidden romance it had it all! I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes by Danielle Jacks was a fantastic romance that I couldn’t put down!

The story follows Zoe Merrill, a woman trying to strike out on her own in the big city who loses her boyfriend and her job. She runs into Damien Chuke, an old rival and ex-bestie to her brother, who has dreams of performing in London’s West Enid. Situations arise where they fake a relationship and it’s such fun to follow along their journey! I finished this book in a day and I can’t wait to consume the second one! I couldn’t put this down. The characters connection was believable and fun. I caught myself laughing out loud multiple times. (: Definitely give this one a read.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is an absolutely amazing read. Ms. Jacks gives us a wonderful romance, her female character being all sugar and spice and everything nice, and her male character being incredibly sexy, what else can a romance reader ask for. Ms. Jacks scenery and word play are delightful, and her character development will have any romance lover not wanting to put the book down. I found myself hooked by the end of chapter one and constantly opening my kindle app with every spare moment I had to finish this book. So if you love romance, friendship, and great characters  I highly recommend Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes.

I have a soft spot for the brother’s best friend romance stories. This had a bit of a different twist as the best friends were no longer friends. I really liked how the author took a predictable storyline and put a unique flavour to it. The writing is really easy to read and the characters are well developed. There’s a bit of steam and adult themes. I will definitely be checking out more from this author.

Zoe & Damien reunite in the most unexpected way in a strip club and with a misunderstanding turns into a fake relationship neither of them wants to fess up to their families.

The opening of the story is so spicy that I literally could not wait for the first :::seggs::: scene and it did not disappoint. Actually, the build-up was palatable that this book was definitely a page-turner. And the end was a sweet twist to the entire story development. Can not wait for the next book!

A chance meeting brings him back into her life at a time when things aren't really going the right way for either of them. Together they decide a fake relationship between the two of them, could solve all their problems... you just know it's not going to be that simple right??

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. This is a well written romance story where the author’s use of attention to details gave the story a realistic feel. It is a fast paced story that I found to be engaging and fun to read. The characters are connectable and bring the story to life on each page. This is a shorter story but it brings romance to a high level. This is a story about Zoe and Damien. Zoe’’s life is about to blow up in her face. What will happen when a situation occurs that has made her family believe that her boyfriend is her brother’s ex-bestie? Damien is a man who wants revenge on his ex-bestie and finds a way to do that through Zoe. What will happen to them when he introduces her to his family as his fiance? Will there be a wedding or will it be heartbreak? This is truly a great story that had me turning pages fast just wanting to know what these two would do next. They bring emotion and romance on every page. I highly recommend this book.

I've never read Danielle Jacks until this book and I feel like have been missing out. I am a fan of my brother's best friend tropes. This one though it was slightly different with the brother and best friend on the outs and their relationship started out as revenge for Damien and a cover for Zoe. The chemistry between the two is *insert me doing a chef's kiss* perfection. How will everything play out you ask? You will need to grab your own copy of this book.

Zoe is a receptionist who is in a relationship with her boss. On the day they he is to meet her family, Zoe's world starts crumbling around her. A spur of the moment decision from an old crush begins a web of lies that quickly starts spinning out of control.
Damien is at the right place at the right time when he comes to Zoe's aid. Nothing like claiming to be shacking up with his ex-best-friend's sister to add some excitement to the day. But what starts out as a story of deception quickly evolves to something more. Zoe and Damien can each play a part for each other...but when happen when their fake relationship begins to feel real?
I found myself rooting for Zoe and Damien despite their reasons for starting out in their "relationship". They both evened each other out while driving each other crazy (in good and bad ways). I enjoyed watching their story grow and blossom into something real. An overall good read.

Yes! Loved this book! I really enjoyed that the story is written in British English, such a fun little add on. Zoe and Damien are awesome together, their chemistry is off the charts. This is one of the only times I actually liked both the male and female in the relationship, not one over the other. All of the misunderstandings and heart aching moments are what I live for in a romance book. When Zoe thinks that her and Damien are over and the moments leading up to it had me reading so fast! Im glad Zoe finally got what she always wanted, the epilogue left out some good info, or what I am assuming to be good info. The storyline was excellent, the characters all awesome and easy to love, I hope there is a second book because I really want to see what happens with Zoe’s brother Tyler!
