What a read! What a picture perfect story of relationships and choices!

Meets and Himanshus story is one help of a romantic story that you don't want to don't want to miss out on! The writer encapsulates the meaning of finding your ground and making the difficult choice in life really keeps you engaged in the two hours. The story talks about marriage, the high society families cultures and how sometimes parents say somethings out loud to their children they don't understand it's impact it has over them in the years. The themes of patriarchal set up,the concept of settling and how love is written about really makes you a part of its story. It's realistic, doesn't give you false hope and really makes you see relationships like they are in reality. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is a reflection of the mindset ofa young and independent woman if current century. Meera us young, beautiful and educated girl who is having all the comforts of life. She has a boyfriend who is well established and is love with her. A perfect family to support her 24x7. Yet she feels something isn't right!
This plot is a pure representation of the real world as when the society and world claims that both the genders are equal but ultimately the male dominates. Women empowerment is a myth to some extent.
I love the fact the author has picked up the most common topic and has beautifully potraited each character and the plot is well paced making it enjoyable while reading. The narration is good. The language used is lucid.

A story about a lovable handsome guy named Himanshu and a bit of overthinking girl - Meera. When their relationship came to the next step ,that is to get married, Meera had the feeling of baseless fears about marriage which led her to choose between her career and love.

While reading this novel, I had felt the same gut fears when my bf asked my hand for marriage. I was like oh no, what about my career. But, now everything is sorted out, like himanshu, he is very supportive and lovable, he understands me better. Well, talking about the story , its well written, face-paced, loved the characters, sometimes I just got irritated with the overthinking behaviour of Meera, and that's a good thing that they got up with the flow at last.

(PS : Thankyou ma'am for the review copy and the beautiful note ♥️)

What if you are asked to choose between your career and the person who love you beyond everything? What will you choose? Will you ditch that person who stands with you even when your parents were against you?
Well, Meera, the Protagonist of What Went Wrong? faced a similar situation. Meera, born with the silver spoon was the only daughter of the Raichand couple and has everything in her life, parents who care, a boyfriend who loves yet her life was incomplete. Being an ambitious person, all Meera ever wanted in her life to be independent, to pursue her dream career but life was not this simple for her. Even after everything, one thing she lacks was freedom, freedom of choosing the life she wants for herself. It was either her parents or her boyfriend who took all the important decisions of her life. But Meera had had enough and finally, she made up her mind that she want more from her life, that marriage is not what she wants. But sharing her feelings with the love of her life was not that easy.
Dive into the world of Meera Raichand to know her full story.

This is my kinda love story, a story full of love and have no lust or obscenity. The story is nothing out of the box but the way it is being narrated touched my heart. What I really like about the book is that the author sticks to the topic throughout the story instead of beating the bush. Its easy language makes this book beginner-friendly. And both the cover and title of the book are catchy and relatable.

What makes a story a good story? I think the plotline and the characters and here both are just perfect. Meera's character feels so real, it's easy to feel a connection with her. Even in the 21st-century, grown-up women have to ask for permission from their parents/husbands/boyfriends to do something significant in their life.
There is no doubt that I like the whole story except a particular scene that confused me to the core. In that scene, Meera was talking with her bestie but I don't know why the author gave three names to a single person and used all those names in the same scene (or maybe I just misinterpreted the whole scene).

Overall, this was a refreshing read for me and I recommend this book to beginners and to those who want to read a pure love story.

✨Book Name - What Went Wrong
✨Author Name - Shradha Khanna
✨Genre - Mixed
✨Rated - 4 / 5

💠As we as a whole realize that "Life appears to be so natural from opposite side yet when you face the truth its totally different".💠

💠What Went wrong, wonderfully composed by Shradha Khanna, is a combination of show, sentiment, secret and torments of life.

The general public has arranged a progression of occasions for everybody and a large portion of us do follow them, instruct yourself, find a new line of work, get hitched, bring up youngsters and die. Any individual who would not like to adhere to this ordinary example isn't viewed as a pleasant person.💠

💠The book, which has a female hero, Meera is a genuine impression of ladies in the general public. The writer, through the portrayal of Meera's life, familiarizes the perusers with how the man centric culture is. Alongside that, the story sprouting among Himanshu and her likewise adds to the heaviness of the plot.💠

💠Meera us youthful, wonderful and instructed young lady who is having every one of the solaces of life. She has a beau who is grounded and is love with her. An ideal family to help her 24x7. However she feels something isn't right!💠

💠Although she has some work and other fundamental things in her day to day existence and her life is going fine however she isn't expecting that much just, her assumptions is something different.💠

💠To know the story you need to peruse this total book. I for one prescribe you to peruse this excellent book, you'll unquestionably cherish it.💠

A contemporary love fiction

The story of Himanshu & Meera.
Both of them are in love with each other unconditionally. The bonding understanding & supporting character for each other can't be narrated in words but it can be felt heart to heart . The only difference between them is their professional life & their jobs.
.
Both of them have supportive parents who are always there in every pros n cons of their lives . They even knew about the relationship & very much happy for them.
.
After spending too much time in a smooth relationship, now Himanshu decided to take a further step & marry to her.
.
But here the story took a turn where she is not ready for marriage or she just gently declined to marry him . This creats a confusion in his mind about Meera & what she is thinking about it.
.
To know more about this grab the book &. Read it.

👉A nicely designed cover with creamy shade which adds a gentle touch to the book.
👉 The plot line of the book is based on contemporary fiction & modern era of love but in a decent manner maintaining the whole gesture purity of love.
👉 Author took a bold step by putting forward such a realistic topic from a fictional point view in front of us is really remarkable. I am strongly appreciating the author's effort to write the book. Her efforts can replicate easily while you read the book. Some serious short of emotional language used in this book that makes the book more apt to read.
👉 Although it's a short read but full of emotions & it will bring small droplets of tears in your eyes.

What went wrong, splendidly written by Shradha Khanna, is an amalgamation of drama, romance, mystery and miseries of life.
The society has planned a series of events for everyone and most of us do follow them, educate yourself, get a job, get married, raise children and perish. Anyone who doesn't want to stick to this conventional pattern is not seen as a nice person.
Two people, Himanshu and Meera, deeply in love, have contrasting thoughts about marriage. Most of these thoughts originate from the patriarchal families they have grown up in, where a man is supposed to be a breadwinner and a women's life revolves around her husband and family. Himanshu, wants Meera to put him before her career and marry him.
Meera, who has been given 'conditional freedom' all her life, decides to prioritise herself.
This difference in opinion, and lack of communication drifts them apart.
As the story unfolds, you will get to know their Point of Views, and it's a good thing about this book. It provides you with different perspectives.
Read more to find out, what actually went wrong and if they end up together or not.
It's recommended to the people who want to read Romance and drama.
Happy Reading!

What went wrong by Shradha Khanna is a contemporary fiction- love story with drama. This story puts forward the life of Himanshu and Meera. A perfect rich family with all the blessings, born with a silver spoon- in short, had everything. But does Money matter all or having a perfect career, parents and a lovely boyfriend is all.

🔘 innovation in a writing world.
🔘Charaters were way too relatable and afferent beautiful. This happens in real life, you would easily say, areeee this is me yaa!
🔘The one thing which I loved the most about this book is it's written from both people’s points of view. It's not that he/she is always right or has the right to say. It's equally important to hear the other one out as well.
🔘According to the society “Marriage is the ultimatum, every problem has one solution that is to get married.” Be it a boy or girl pressure is constant and the adverse impact which is also described in here.
🔘 Beginner-friendly, lucid language, the narration is captivating, one-sitting read.

Romance and Patriarchy!

Book Review:

"All that glitters is not gold!"

Meera's life is an glowing example of this proverb. Meera has the perfect life, born with a golden spoon, supportive parents, sorted life and career and a loving and doting boyfriend. But Meera is not satisfied. She wants more from her life. What does Meera actually want? What really did go wrong?

Shradha Khanna has concocted a romantic novel with flavours of patriarchy, lack of freedom and choice for girls and of course, love. Meera, although having a 'perfect' life, feels she has no control over it and everything has been pre-decided for her. She decides to break free of her shackles. What she does and what happens to her relationship with Himanshu, her boyfriend, form the novel.

The book is very comprehensive. The book isn't lengthy so it makes for a breezy and a light read. Happy reading!

Nice

What went wrong is a story of a lovely couple who were best friends for years and then became lovers. Both of them had their careers their lives and were happy with each other. But the pressure of parents and Himanshu to get married started bothering Meera.
She had everything rich and loving boyfriend and loving parents but she had dreams too which she was not ready to give up for A MARRIAGE. She wanted to chase her dreams and wishes but she was scared by the thought........ what if this marriage will bind her and take away her dreams??? This question is very important for every girl who keep her ambitions as her priority and the answers to this question were not easy to get.

The story is overall good and interesting with some twists and turns. The chemistry and romance between the two is well portrayed. The author was able to keep readers interested till the end.

A heartfelt love story

Not every story is perfect and meant to be all smooth ride. This love story of Himanshu and Meera is all about love and dreams. What happen when one partner choose to chase their dreams and aspirations against their happy ever after . What if both partner love each other but wants two different things at same time. This story raise questions which will make you wonder about what went wrong ?
A beautiful story with conflicting emotion portrayed clearly and subtly. Language is simple and narration is medium paced.
A nice read.

That rarest of beasts: the perfect Romance. This extraordinary novel set my blood fizzing―I quite literally couldn't put it down. I told myself I'd just dip in; eleven hours later―it's now 5:47 a.m.―I've finished it, absolutely dazzled.
Hypnotic, rattling.... Time collapses as, minute by minute, krakauer rivetingly and movingly chronicles what ensued, much of which is near ecstasy to read.... A brilliantly told storyline that won't go begging when the year's literary honors are doled out
