When Drake and Emmet get dragged along on their companies annual hunting trip, they’re dreading it. They’ve never been ones to hurt animals and hunting foxes seems like a cruel way to spend their free time.
When they head back to their cabin, they’re shocked to find a little fox curled up on the bed, but they’re even more surprised when the fox transforms into the most beautiful woman that they’ve ever seen.
They both want her, but they’ve always had a pact to never let a woman come between them so they agree to not pursue her. Neither can deny the connection they feel with her though.
Lexi has always had a bad habit of doing things that she’s not supposed to. When a scent catches her off guard, she follows it to a little cabin nestled in the woods. She only means to lay down for a minute but when she wakes she finds not one but two men standing over her.
Her mates.
Will Drake and Emmet be give in to the bond they both share with Lexi? Or will their clever mate slip away before they can claim her?
I love this one way more!! Its fast pace and steamy and I love other animals couples!!
This one was alittle different for me because Lexi is the shifter and her mates are human. So thats a twist and I loved it!! Lexi finds her mates when they are on a bussiness trip hunting but they aren't hunters they hate it they just have to go. Drake and Emmet are stunned when they see a fox on their cabin and she changes from animal to human.. at first they are confused by the feeling but both want her. They do have a dumb moment which made Lexi doubt herself and think they didn't want her.
Now these humans need to make it up to their girl.
No ow/om drama, no cheating. Slight secondary charas, sexy times, virgin gal and no info on the guys

Drake and Emmet are best friends since they were little, both served in the military together and both work for a sniveling little jerk at his families financial firm. They are in Red Ridge on a corporate retreat, a hunting party, which they want no part of. Wanting to get away from the jerk and their other coworkers they retire to their cabin. There they find a beautiful fox that turns into an even more beautiful naked woman. Lexi is a fox shifter who was out for a run, getting tired she decides to take a nap in one of the cabins. Lucky for her she finds her mates when she wakes up. Her fox is so excited and wants to bite them right away, but she wants them to want her for her, not because of the mating pull. Both the guys are very interested in her, but they made a pact years ago not to let a woman come between them. They don’t know they are both her mates. To protect her from the hunting party they tell her to stay. She explains shifters and tries to get to know them better. Emmet tries to stays consistent in his desire of her but Drake sort of runs hot and cold which really confuses her. Thinking they don’t want her she writes them a letter explaining they are both her mates but she understands that they don’t want her. When they return from the team building exercises and find her gone, they lose it. They quit their job and take off looking for her. It takes them all day. Lots of I love yous and two epilogues, one year later at the birth of their first son and ten years later with two more children and the guys being a part of the pack.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. In book 3 of the Red Ridge Pack series we meet Lexi. Lexi is a fox shifter and she has been mentioned in the previous 2 books. In this book the spotlight is on her as she meets two long time buddies - Emmett and Drake. They have been through thick and thin together even fighting in the military. Now they work for the same company and this weekend is a male bonding hunting trip with work colleagues. One of these colleagues is the boss's son who is a bit of a dick and not like at all by these two friends. They head to their cabin and on entering find a lovely little red fox curled up on the bed. In front of them she shifts into the most beautiful woman they have ever laid their eyes on. She immediately recognizes them as her mates. Yep! Mates! as in both of them. They convince her to stay in the cabin so as to not get shot and after a bit of negotiating she decides to do just that. The atmosphere is heavy with lust from all three, but none is prepared to act out their feelings. Emmett and Drake because they have a pact to always stay together and share everything and even though they get on really well they're not about to enter into a sexual relationship with each other. Lexi's fox wants her to bite these two hunky guys and claim them as her mates but she reins the little creature in. Things spiral out of control and while the two men are out of the cabin she takes off and head home. The boys follow her and then they realize they have to open up to her about their feelings. This is a beautiful love story and leave me panting for more from Skye. Highly recommended read.
Here we meet Lexi, a lonely fox shifter who finds her mates but refuses to tell them because she wants them to choose her, to prove that they love her and it's not just because of the mate pull, etc. She wants to feel loved and chosen, wanted. I'm all for it but where was it? She literally spends one night with them, feels like they don't want her and leaves them a note telling them their her mates and blah, blah, blah. They go to her place the very next day and it's all fine and dandy. There was no romancing, no choosing her, no showing her they wanted her for her because guess what? It's the mating moon! I swear that stupid fucken full moon BS is getting annoying. Go against the norm! Do something different! Anything different!
Ok seriously I need to ask this because it's driving me insane now, how rare is finding your fated mate because her books make it seem like it's supposed to be rare yet every single one finds them. Not only that but quite a few of them find/have more than one when it was never heard about before. One book, sure, but this is what? The 4th or 5th one I've read of hers where the female has more than one mate.
Aside from that, the author made it seem like two guys in this book have been around the block before and while that's fine and all, why is it always the human females are the ones who are virgins? I'm not saying the shifters aren't virgins obviously they are and all but the human females could also be experienced, not just the males.

What starts out as a day to get away, letting her fox run provides Lexi with what she hopes is her happily ever after. Unfortunately, best friends Drake and Emmett are human and don't understand about shifters, mates, mate pull, you name it, they don't understand it. Drake and Emmett were out in the woods for what their boss was calling a "team building exercise", hunting for whatever they could find, but specifically a fox. Terrified that Lexi would be hurt, Drake and Emmett do some talking and persuading to keep Lexi in their cabin, safe, sound and with them. Taking turns to keep checking on Lexi during their hunting excursion, Drake and Emmett try to secure a bond with Lexi that they didn't fully understand. However, Lexi isn't sure everything will work out between the three of them, so, she runs back home to Red Ridge, back to being lonely rather than cause a rift between best friends that don't understand what is going on. Will Drake and Emmett let a woman, even as amazing as Lexi come between them and their best friends pact or will they realize they need to chase after their crafty fox? Outfoxing My Mates is the third book in the Red Ridge Pack series by Skye Alder. This continues to be a great series by Shaw Hart and Cameron Hart. Their stories create characters that you want to invest in, cheer for and hope that the instalove HEA is actually within their grasp.
When best friends Drake and Emmet attend the annual picnic, they are not enthusiastic about the hunting “team building” event the company expects them all to participate in. Hunting is not their preferred sport at all. They head back to their cabin and find a fox curled up on the bed. The major surprise, however, happens when she transforms into a lovely woman!
Lexi had been in her fox form when she scented something that she followed to a cabin in the woods. She meant to briefly rest on the bed, but fell asleep. When her eyes opened, she was staring at two men and realizes both of them are her mates!
Both men want her without a doubt. Even though they are human, they can feel the effects of the mate connection even without understanding it. But their friendship is built on never allowing anyone, even a woman, to come between them. As difficult as it is, they agree to not pursue her. Will Drake and Emmet eventually give in to their shared bond with Lexi? Or, thinking they don’t love her, will she run away instead?
This is a good story with some fun moments when her humans don’t know about shifters. A little communication could have helped here. But hopefully Fate will step in and make it plain what all parties are supposed to be up to! Grab your copy and enjoy!
Emmitt and Drake have been friends for a long time and they have done almost everything together including the military, college and their jobs. Now they are together on a horrible hunting/ team building trip for their work. They are so miserable, they are debating quitting their jobs. When they get to the cabins they are supposed to stay in for the weekend, Emmitt and Drake have a big surprise waiting for them. There is a fox in their cabin who turns into a beautiful woman. Both men are at a loss since they both like Lexi but they made a pact that no girl will come between them.
Lex is at loose ends. Her parents left her behind and joined another pack when she turned 18. She always wanted a mate so she could start the close family she always longed for. However no one in the pack or the town is her mate. She was running in her fox shape when she found some unfamiliar cabins and she was curious enough to explore. Before she could leave the cabin she was exploring, two men entered and caught her in her fox form. When Lexi gets the scent of them she is surprised to find out that they are human and both are her mate. Now she just has to introduce them into her world without freaking them out. She wants them to love her for herself instead of being forced by the mating pull.

Drake and Emmet go on the company hunting trip even though they aren't hunters and don't really want to be there. Once back at their cabin they find a little fox curled up on a bed and are shocked when the fox transforms into a beautiful woman. Lexi lets them know that she's a fox shifter and even though she wants to stay and get to know then because she think they're her mates, she decides to leave. But they want her to stay longer to make sure she's safe while the others are out hunting.
So she stays and gets to know them better and is hoping that they will fall for her before she tells them that she's their mate. But the guys aren't sure how to pick between the two of them who will pursue her since they both really like her.
There's some miscommunication between the three of them and Lexi leaves when she thinks she coming between the two of them and doesn't want to. She doesn't think that they feel the same way she does but when they read her letter, they go after her and try to win her back.
This was a sweet ménage romance with a fox shifter. I liked that she was the one in pursuit in this story instead of the guys being the main ones to pursue her. This was a cute story.
As a fox shifter, Lexi has always done things that she shouldn't be doing. She's a curious person and kind of just does what she wants to do when she wants. So when she's running through the forest and smells a scent that catches her interest it's no surprise that Lexi goes to investigate. But after running and playing Lexi lays down for a bit. What she didn't expect when she woke up was to see hulking figures standing at the door...much less her mates!
Drake and Emmet have been dragged to their companies annual hunting trip. Hunting harmless animals does seem to appeal to these two, so at this point they are just along for the ride. When they get back to their cabin they find a fox bundled up, but this isn't a normal fox and she proves that when she shifts into a beautiful woman. A woman that both Drake and Emmet are attracted to. But both of them have a pact to never let a woman get between them.
Will Drake and Emmet give into the feelings they both share for their mate? Or will they let Lexi slip through their fingers?
Fun story. It's short and fast paced, well written storyline with great characters. Drake and Emmet are as close as you can get without being brothers. They have known each other since the first grade and have done everything together. They are on a hunting trip with the company they work for and both of them hate it. When they get to their cabin they find a fox sleeping on their bed. They are shocked when said fox turns into the most beautiful woman they have ever seen. Lexi is a fox shifter and after shifting a few time for the men they don't believe it but they saw it. She know that they are her mates. She wants them to love her without the the pull of the ,mating moon. There is some drama, but mostly the sexy little fox finally gets her men. Highly recommend this story. First book I've read from this author. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Emmett and Drake enter their rented cabin and find a fox on their bed. Emmett and Drake have been friends since they were children then joined the Army together and now work for the same company They now find themselves on a company business trip hunting foxes when neither approve of hunting and the boss's son who is annoying and obnoxious. when they reach the cabins that they are renting they are glad to head for theirs to get away from the others. Entering the cabin they are surprised to see a fox on the bed which changes into a beautiful woman. Lexi had worked her shift at the diner then gone for a run but feeling tired she had entered the empty cabin to have a nap. She wakes to see two men have entered the cabin and that her fox is stating Mates.

As much as I loved the first two books in the Red Ridge Pack, Outfoxing My Mates took the top spot! Lexi is a fox and she is just as mischievous in her human form. Her mates, Drake and Emmett are best friends brought to the wilds of Montana on a business trip. A team building retreat with some hunting thrown in doesn't sound like fun for the former military guys. When they meet Lexi, the situation is overwhelming. The guys are so close and both are attracted to her, but they can't all build a life together, can they? This made me quite emotional, I have to confess. Lexi is so sweet and her loneliness got me right in the heart. She has hoped to find her mates for so long and now it seems that they don't want her. I fell in love with this trio, I was sad to say goodbye to them. All the stars for Lexi and her mates!
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Outfoxing my mates is the third book in the ‘’red ridge pack’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Drake and Emmet are best friends that are in red ridge for a work retreat. When they meet fox shifter, Lexi, they feel an instant connection. The chemistry between Drake, Lexi and Emmet is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked how accepting Emmet and Drake were of shifters when they learned of them. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Outfoxing My Mates is the story of Lexi, Emmett, and Drake.
They’re on a hunt with a bunch of people they hate and don’t like and they stumble upon her in her fox form lying for their bed and she turns human in front of them and explains that she’s a shifter and shit but they’re intrigued asf so they make her stay and while they do they learn more about her and while doing that they slowly fall. They’re both apart of some firm and hand in their resignations for her and that they hate their job and that it’s given them a reason to quit. They’re her mates. She conceals that until the letter she leaves when she feels disconnected wit them. They find her and bring her back to where she belongs and claims her. The storyline was good but what got this a 3.5⭐️ is the SMUT. The smut is amazing.
Is it just me, or was this story totally unbelievable? I mean, come on! Like there are 2 best friends who have NEVER thought of sharing?!
The oddest thing about this whole story was Emmitt and Drake's relationship and how it never crossed their minds to do EVERYTHING together and NOT think to be together with a Foxy gal like Lexi.
It was a great story, a little too short and a little too smutty .... yeah, okay, I can’t say that with a straight face - like there is ever TOO MUCH smut.
There was a little less plot than I typically like with my shifters. The shifter part was more of a - oh by the way - fact in the book as this could have been any rich guy(s) from the city meet small town girl.
I read this in one evening, but I couldn't put it down. I'm definitely going to be checking out more of Skye Alder!!
WOWZA! Yall know I love shifters so when we get BOGO fated mates-- yes girl sign me up! We meet Red Ridge's resident fox shifter in this one and Lex is so cute.
In a very goldilocks ways she wakes up in a cabin to find Drake and Emmett who are visiting on a work trip and she knows immediately that they are her mates. She knows that they are humans and doesnt want them to be with her just because the mating moon's pull she wants them to really love her.
Drake and Emmett have been lifelong friends and decided never to let a girl come between them, maybe they need to think on that one some more.
This one heats up to epic hot levels as they realize they are made to be with Lex and will do anything to make her happy and feel loved. The epilogue was so dang cute but you will need your fan before you get there.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Drake and Emmet have been friends for a long time and work for the same company. They both are on a business retreat when they find a fox in their cabin. This fox is a shifter named Lexi and she has just stumbled upon her two human mates. She explains about what she is and wants them to want her for herself. She does not want them just because they feel an unknown bond is there. The men give her some confusing signals and she decides to run. The men know they have to find her and explain no matter what. This is a short and sweet menage romance. I have been enjoying all the books in this series.

To say that this book wasn't what I expected would be an understatement. Outfoxing my mate was a hot and steamy menage romance that left me wanting more!
Best friends Emmitt and Drake felt like they were missing something in their life until they stumbled upon a sexy fox shifter during a team building exercise in Red Ridge Mountain. Two mates was the last thing Lexi expected when she smelled their delicious fragrance, but she was willing to give them both a shot. However, these three were on completely separate pages, causing Lexi to run for the hills with a broken heart.
Will Emmet and Drake be able to convince their girl she is the only one for them? You got to read the book and find out.
Book 3 of Skye Alder’s Red Ridge Pack Series is a sexy and steamy MMF shifter romance. Ladies, this.book.is.smoking.hot! Prepare yourself to fall hard and fast for Emmett and Drake - best friends since forever, have been through hell and back together and will never let anything come between them. Lucky for them, when they both find themselves attracted to and mesmerized by sexy fox shifter Lexi who is equally smitten with both men. They are each other’s fated mates. Love overfloweth as these three give into their attraction and get their happily ever after - together. Outfoxing Her Mates gets the @judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval. TBR and Enjoy!
This is a refreshing take on fated mates, this time around the h is dreaming of her mate or in this case mates! When she does come across him to her surprise it actually a them! Being best friend all their lives Emmett and Drake won’t let anything come between them, not even the most tempting girl they have ever come across, the mating pull is strong but they fight it for as long as possible as both men want her, not really understanding what they are feeling , they may just loose the best thing that ever happened to them if they can’t get it together!

I thought that this book was great. I loved Lex and her guys, Drake and Emmet. Lex's fox had some great comedic moments but I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Lex, Drake and Emmet. Drake and Emmet are very protected of Lex even though they just met her. Lex wants her mates but she kind of wants them to choose her and not just let fate decide. There is a little bit of drama but most just crazy feelings, protectiveness, tension and steam. I would recommend this book and these two awesome authors.

I loved this book! Was so fun to have a 2 mates book where the 2 mates are the humans instead of the shifters. Lexi is used to feeling alone until she gets caught by Drake and Emmet in their hunting cabin for the weekend. She knows they are her mates but is worried the connection won’t be the same for them. Luckily her mates are all about her and are more than obsessed with keeping her safe from their boss who is fox hunting. Short sweet and steamy!

Sweet and Steamy is Outfoxing my Mates. We caught a brief glimpse of Lexi in Book 2 but now we have her story.
Emmett and Drake are on a work team building trip with co-workers that they really don't like when they happen upon Lexi and are instantly drawn to her. Lexi knows they are her mate but wants more than just the mating moon. Can these three make it work or are they doomed from the start?
It was a good read. After a long day prancing around in her wolf self, Lexi finds herself in a cabin where she meets two humans friends; quiet and intense Emmet and the outgoing and easy-going Drake. They both shocked when the beautiful fox they find in their room transforms itself into a beautiful girl. After a minor misunderstanding, Lexi leaves but she won't go far before her two human mates come looking for her and their HEA. Recommended
I was really looking forward to this story because most shifter/human matches has the female as the human. The heroes in this though, Drake and Emmett, didn't feel like humans. They felt more like indecisive shifters. Lexi didn't know much of anything about humans so doesn't understand their hesitation. I guess I'd have felt better if they'd shared women in the past, I don't know. It was an enjoyable enough story, just not what I was hoping for.
This story really surprised me. Usually I don’t read stories that have more than one love interest, but I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although it was very different from what I’m used to. The characters were interesting and likable. Drake and Emmett had been friends for a very long time. They even made a pact that they would never let anything come between them and their friendship. Lexi was not expecting to find her mates but as soon as she inhaled their scents she knew. She was attracted to them. Drake and Emmett were attracted to Lexi. Their mutual attraction was enough to start some interactions that were kind of funny at times and frustrating at others. There was a tiny bit of drama and angst but it resolved well. I liked their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.
The mischievous fox, Lexi, that we got glimpses of in the previous books, now has her chance at mating. Not one, but she finds two. Talk about HOT! This was sexy and it moves quickly but it makes sense for them. I’m glad there’s really not a lot of drama and the pull is instant. Can’t wait to see more from this series.
This is the third book in this Red Ridge Pack series. This is another fabulous story. The story flows well, the characters are perfect for one another and their chemistry is amazing. This is the story of shifter Lexi and her fated mates Drake and Emmet who are human. You will not want to miss any book in this series. A must read. You will not be disappointed.
