Finding His Forever

Rate this book
Penelope Woods has just lost her father.

It had been only the two of them her whole life and they had been closer than most. Now that's he's gone, she feels more alone than ever before and heads back home to figure out what to do next. It’s there, cleaning out his room, that she finds his yeti research.

Her father and her have been fascinated by yetis for years. When she was a little girl, her father had grown tired of reading her bedtime stories about princesses and princes and had started making up his own tales. Their favorites had been about the yeti, and they had agreed to spend a year looking for one when she was older.

Now that he’s gone, she decides to still take the trip in his honor. She's hoping that she’ll be able to grieve his passing and maybe even find herself again.

She packs her bags and heads out into the snow but instead of a yeti, she finds Atticus.

He takes her to his cabin to warm up. When a snowstorm hits and they get trapped together, Penelope falls hard and fast for the rugged loner with the big heart.

When the storm passes, will Atticus be able to let his fiesta girl go? Or will he realize that he just found his forever girl?

This is a quick and enjoyable read. Penelope and Atticus are both considered weird people who don’t really fit in. Both have lost their families and are all alone. Pen wants to go on the adventure that she was supposed to go on with her dad before he passed away. Travelling to a very remote island in Canada in search of a yeti she thinks she has found one but it turns out to be the park ranger. I loved the scene where she jumped on him, I know I would not have the courage to jump on a possible yeti, lol. With a storm approaching the two bundle up together in Atticus’s cabin learning about each other and falling head over heels for one another.

Safety and Spoilers
Completely safe. No ow/om drama. Both virgins and no abuse.

Perhaps a 3.5*. Both the attractive cover and the title caught my attention. Loved by Her Yeti is a story about 2 lonely people finding that special someone who “gets” them, the one that complements and completes them. When that happens, it’s magic.

Loved by Her Yeti is a quick reading insta-love story. I found it a Very light read, but with a sweet element. Loved by Her Yeti might best be enjoyed by readers who prefer light, short stories that can be read in under 2hrs, between or after the other demands in their life. The 2 epilogues gave this story a sweet HEA rather than a HFN ending which I appreciated. I picked up several other titles from the Folklore series at the same time. I am curious if each story is different. Loved by Her Yeti can be read as either a standalone title or as part of the Fokelore series.

Reader Cautions -

Violence - None.
Profanity - Yes. 5-10x or so.
Sexual situations - Yes. This is a insta-love story with on-scene intimacy with both a virgin hero & heroine.

Not recommended for readers who prefer Clean novels or for YAs.

ARC Review. Love at first tackle! Loved By Her Yeti is the 2nd installment of Shaw Hart’s Folklore series (each is a stand-alone), and is a dual virgin insta-love romance. Penelope is so cute and sassy as she brings out the smiles in growly alpha man, Atticus. These two have a super hot instant connection while being thrown together in a winter storm. I just loved this story... So feisty, sexy, and sweet!

Yeti

Atticus is stunned when a tiny woman comes out of nowhere and tackles him yelling he a Yeti. Penelope is a bright light to his gloomy days and he can't imagine life without his little adventurer.

This is such a wonderful story... Pen is a wonderful lady... Atti is an awesome guy... Pen lost her mother at child birth, her father took care of her whole life... Atti's dad left him at young, so it was just him and his mom until she died just before he graduated... Pen's dad died just before she graduated college... When Pen went home to get the house ready for sale, she found all the gear to go hunting Yeti's... Pen's dad use to tell her stories about Yeti's, they had planed to go find them once she graduated college... Seeing how she loved her dad and his stories about Yeti's she decided to take the trip anyway... On her first stop is where she find Atti... the cabin that she rented had damage to the roof which means that she can't stay there without freezing to death.. She went on the search the ranger that is on the island... Atti was doing his rounds, he was on his way to check on the cabin that was rented... There was a tree in the way of his snowmobile.. While Atti was trying to move the tree, Pen came up on him and seeing how he was in all white... When Pen tackled Atti she was calling him a Yeti... Atti took off his hood and was telling her that he isn't a yeti... She told him why she was coming to find him and he took her back to his cabin because the other two cabin's needed repair.. Pen took a shower after Atti had cooked dinner for both of them.. Once in bed Pen put her cold feet on Atti and he almost ran out of bed... Once she started warming up he settle back down and let her wrap herself around him... When he looked at themselves in the window Atti couldn't see her not in his life... In the morning something interesting happened... After the good time happened... Pen made them a dutch baby over an open fire... Atti thought that he might not like it but he loved and then made love to Pen... After that they were inseparable, and they had a little boy and lived happily ever after

Penelope grew up immersed in legends of the yeti. Her fascination with the mythical creature was fueled and shared with her dad who, unfortunately, passed away before they could fulfill their lifelong dream of finding one together. Grieving but knowing it's time to move forward, she plans on taking that trip in his honor. Maybe it would heal the hole his death left behind.

Atticus has spent the past five years living on and caring for Aulavik National Park, including the tiny island that rarely sees visitors. A giant compared to most, abnormal looking to almost all, the solitude he's found away from civilization is his safe haven and perfect since it's just him.

Until it isn't.

This is a different kind of insta than what I'm used to reading from Ms. Hart. While the instant everything is in place, there's a little more depth and emotion here that pulled at my heartstrings and made me smile even. It was nice to read about Atticus and Penelope connecting parts of themselves before having sex. It made that first sex scene feel a little more intimate, meaningful rather than "You are mine, now I claim you!" type of scene.

I enjoyed the comparison of Atticus to a yeti. Freakishly tall, curiously pale skin, wildman type beard, it was easy to see why Penelope mistook him for a yeti on their first meeting since all she could make out was his beard. The story as a whole is an enjoyable take on the legend of the yeti. Even though Penelope never actually found one, she did find a lifetime of thrills and adventure with her very own "yeti" man.

So fun and sweet❤️❤️❤️

I really loved this one! It was a really fun, short steamy little read. Penelope, in honor of her dad and their deep bond over folklore monsters, goes in search of a Yeti on an isolated Canadian national park. And what she finds might just be better than the mysterious snow dweller

Atticus is a giant of a man who is quite happy being far away from civilization; hes always done better on his own, never quite fitting in (heh.)

But when a small sprite of a female lands in his lap, he discovers that two is better than one and sharing his life with Penelope might just be perfect

What I loved about this book: the writing was crisp and clean, flowed easily and if it had any grammatical errors, I didn’t notice.

What I loved about the story: the hero and heroine are adorable. They’re both loners, and finding one another was swoon and steam. I also absolutely freaking LOVED that theyre both virgins, no sliming around with other ppl, they belong only to each other and that’s just magical. Obviously no cheating. There’s an HEA with two epilogues, 1 yr and 20 years out.

Loved by her yeti is book two in the folklore series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Atticus is a loner that likes his job as a park ranger. He enjoys his own company. Penelope is a young woman that has always loved adventure. Over the years she made plans with her father to travel and look for Yeti’s. When her father suddenly died, she decides to take the trip for both of them. She never expected to find love along the way.
The chemistry between Penelope and Atticus is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I liked how excited Penelope got when she thought she had found a real Yeti.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Well Shaw did it again! Incredibly sweet and perfectly matched Penelope and Atticus couldn’t be more perfect for each other! She is a quirky recently graduated Girl with one thing on her mind, tracking and finding a Yeti! Only once she tracks him down she finds a lot more than the mythical yeti, Atticus may look like a yeti in size but he is all hot man! He is perfect for her in understanding and accepting her strange rambling and folklore beliefs as he is a recluse and believes he is a little strange himself.
Once the chemistry ignited between them , there is no stopping these two as they head out on there own adventure in love and looking for a real Yeti!

Penelope didnt have many friends she was more of a solo type of girl who had a great relationship with her dad about Yetis that's what they bonded over. And they were going to go on a trip but things happened and Pen father is gone.  Taking the trip herself she rents a cabin in the snowy woods and tackles a Yeti... or so she thinks lol
Its a tall man name Atticus who runs and takes care of the cabins he loves his alone time. And he is slowly intrested in Pen. But it's a slowwww insta.

Very cute and fluff.

No ow/om drama, No cheating, sexy times, both virgins

Recommend- maybe

I absolutely loved this book! Penelope and Atticus were such a cute couple and their first meeting will live on in my mind forever. hahaha

Atticus and Penelope are both two people who are alone in the world and feel ok with their circumstances until their paths cross. They instantly feel a connection to one another and I love that there is no OW drama or unnecessary obstacles thrown in just to fill pages.

Another winner for Shaw Hart. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Folklore series. If you haven’t read Kidnapped by Bigfoot yet, be sure to check it out.

Penelope decides to finally go searching for the Yeti as a way to honor her dad. He told her stories growing up and the ones about the Yeti were her very favorite. The journey leads her to a lonely national park and the ranger in charge of it. Atticus isn't a fan of people so this job suits him perfectly. When a pretty woman shows up to rent a cabin, he has no idea his entire life is about to change. These characters are so well drawn, you feel like you know them. I spent a lovely couple of hours watching them fall in love. So darn cute, Loved by the Yeti deserves five stars!

I absolutely loved this book!! Penelope has been infatuated with Yeti's since her father told her stories about them growing up. Since her father recently passed away, she decides to take a trip to find a real one. Atticus, having always been an outcast because of his height, decides to become a ranger at 18 after his mom dies. Their meeting definitely is a memorable one which starts with Penelope screaming "YETI" and tackling Atticus. These two were extremely sweet and loving with each other. This is definitely a must read!!!

I recently discovered Shaw Hart, and I have fallen in love with her books. Her books are about men finding their woman and never letting go. Just what I like to read. However, I think this book is definitely my favorite so far. I loved how Penelope went into an adventure and found love along the way. Atticus likes being alone, but when he found Penelope, that changed. Now, all he wants is to make Penelope his and to keep her with him forever. This book was just so sweet, and the way these two met was just hilarious. Guaranteed HEA and completely safe.

Loved by her yeti is about Penelope and Atticus. Penelope is in her last month of school when she finds out that her father died. While she is getting everything in order she finds a box of yeti research that her father did before he had passed away. On a whim Penelope decides to book a cabin in northern Canada. When she gets to the island she runs into (literally) Atticus. There is an instant pull between the both of them. They decide to explore their attraction to each other.

Penelope and Atticus are perfect for each other.

This story was probably my favorite of the bunch! Penelope has such an adventurous spirit it's hard not to love her.
After her father's death Penelope is left alone and grieving. When she starts going through her father's things she discovers all the material her father gathered for their trip to find a yeti. To feel connected to her father she decided to go on the trip herself before getting back to the real world. Penelope may not have found a real yeti, but she does find a man who may resemble a yeti and someone she can't seem to live without.

I really liked this story. It was funny, entertaining, and interesting. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Penelope (Pen) decided to go on the trip that she was going to go on with her dad and search for a yeti. Atticus was a ranger on a secluded island. The way that Penelope and Atticus meet was absolutely hilarious. The reaction that Atticus had was a crack up too. There are plenty of feels. Penelope and Atticus were super sweet together. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

(Audio book) Wonderful story of Atticus and Pen, two lonely people who find each other while Pen is searching for a legend but instead finds the love of her life. I love these two characters. The story will pull at your heart strings as their story of how they ended up alone in life before finding each other. Pen is so funny and energetic and the two are perfect for each other.

The narrator has a pleasant voice. She does focus a bit too much on enunciation that it makes the dialogue a bit choppy; not enough so that it takes too much away from the story.

Pen and her father’s dream was to find a yeti. Now that her father has passed away, it is only her to follow their dream.
Atticus is a caretaker of a tiny island in northern Canada. He has never been very lucky with girls of his height.
A very funny story about two very different people, but deep inside not so much.

Holy cow! Amazing as always!

I love this book and have read it twice. Not sad about that. This story about Pen and Atticus is adorable and sweet. They are both loners and happy with it until they meet each other and realize what they have been missing. They have such perfect chemistry and their spice scenes are just that. Spice. Great job again Shaw! You are a fabulous writer and I can't get enough.
