I have been waiting for ZEKE SINCE WE FIRST MET HIM!! and i love him.. i stan him lol. This was a good novella very fast pace and some steam.
Zeke has been watching all his friends/family at the shop fall in love and start living their lives, its been awhile since he really done any dating its been work and take care of his family/friends and in walks in Trixie he's so sprung over her and the guys tease him about it. He wants nothing more then to be the guy Trixie needs and wants. But for a split second he takes a step back worried about their age difference but it doesnt last long. As for Trixie i love her!!! She was sweet little shy but such a nice girl who has a mother who controls everything she does. And all she wants to do is art. I love the relationship between the two and i enjoyed how Zeke was protective of her even from her mean mother. And the crew snd how they act around each other a great family.
And we get a BOMB dropped by Nico!! Cant wait for his book!!
No ow/om drama, no cheating, Secondary characters, sexy time, tiny tiny drama, virgin gal and no manwhore celibate for years

This is the first book that I am reading in this series and this author. I can honestly say it’s a really fantastic read and I am so going to have to go back and read the previous ones as soon as possible.
Trixie moved half way across the country to escape her controlling mother, but still she holds all the cards. Trixie is an artist at heart but with her mum paying her tuition she’s been forced to study business but this year she had managed to sneak in an art class and that’s how she finds herself in Eye Candy Ink, researching an art assignment. Her attraction to Zeke is immediate but with him being so much older than her thinks he’d never look at someone as young as her. Will she be brave enough to make a move and will he want her?
Zeke has to admit to feeling jealous of watching his Eye Candy Ink family all find their forever, he is resigned to the fact he may spend the rest of his life alone but all that changes when Trixie walks through the door. He’s smitten but fears her age, is she too young for him and would she even be interested in him?
These two were very cute together, Zeke was the perfect alpha male who recognised his other half straight away and Trixie was an adorable heroine who was learning what her worth was with a man who would love her no matter what. Highly recommended read, it’s safe and steamy with a short epilogue. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book. 4.3*

Zeke is definitely my favorite from the Eye Candy Series 4.5 🌸 🌸 🌸 🌸 🌸 my only complaint is that the book cover does not match the hero description (longer hair) but aside from that the story is easy, enjoyable and free from drama!

When you start reading it after reading the others in series its honestly like catching up with old friends. This book is Zeke and Trixie's story.

I absolutely love reading this authors books and I always look forward to her books when she release's a new book. This book series is one of then best that I have ever read and in was so glad to read about Zeke. This author always writes fantastic characters that you can really connect to and I loved the fact that this book had characters for the previous books to because I love catching up with them. This book was an awesome romance book and I highly recommend this book and also reading the previous title first because they are all fantastic. This book is a must read and is out now.

I love the whole family interactions with each other. Zeke and his girl, Trixie deserve the best.
Zeke is such a cutie. I love that he wants to take care of everything and is basically a whole “dad figure” to other guys.
And Trixie is Trixie. This little cutie is jest everything. I loved that she stood up to her mother and gets to do what she really wants and likes.
Cant wait for Nico’s book tho!😩

Zeke is a tall glass of sexy, tatted Viking. He’s the owner of Eye Candy Ink and a father figure to his employees who are like family to him. Zeke’s main focus has always been building up the business and has dedicated all of his time to that. At the ripe old age of 36, he believes he’s never going to find a woman, that is until her. Trixie is breathtakingly beautiful and young. Working on a school art project has her seeking and getting help from the sexy tattoo artist. Their attraction to one another is strong and neither one tries to resist it. Zeke’s protective instincts kick in and he can’t stop himself from loving and taking care of her. For her part, Trixie finds strength in Zeke’s presence and becomes stronger for it. They fall hard and fast for one another and their happily ever after is incredibly sweet. TBR and enjoy.

I couldn't bring myself to not cringe. I don't really like weak main characters and in this book everything about the main character was weak. I mean they got matching tattoos on like the 3th weak they knew each other. I didn't feel it sorry.

I feel like I was really let down when it comes to Zeke's book.
I wanted to see more...
More of Zeke maybe fighting his feelings because he worries about the age difference.
More of Trixie standing up when Zeke gives her the hot and cold shoulder.
Heck give me more drama with Trixie's mother. I mean heck half the book was Trixie going on constantly talking about how her mom was so controlling. She never dyed her hair, ate a lot of junk food, didn't date, and never thinks to go against her mother do pursue her art. I would think we'd see more than just the mom walk off in a huff after Trixie tells her what she wants.
Really disappointed with this one, especially after the first 3 being so freakin good!

J’avais hâte de ce tome sur Zeke, car il est un peu comme le papa des autres, à prendre soin d’eux donc c’est à son tour qu’on prenne soin de lui et qu’il soit heureux.
Zeke et Trixie sont vraiment mims, a des moments j’avais peur que Zeke soit trop daron avec elle mais au final ça va on voit quand même qu’il a un gros côté protecteur, prendre soin des autres et il l’est avec elle mais il l laisse vivre et faire des choix.
Zeke aussi a permis à Trixie de s’épanouir et devenir celle qu’elle voulait et d’intégrer la grande famille des Eye Candy Ink.
Comme tous les autres tomes c’est sympa, mignon, rapide à lire et sans prise de tête.
Un combo qui marche à chaque fois.

Zeke has finally met his match. After always taking care of everyone else at the shop, and making sure they’re happy, it’s finally his turn. Once Trixie walks into Eye Candy Ink, to talk to Zeke about a project she’s working on it’s game over. Their chemistry is instant, he’s not sure if he’s messing up as he’s been out of the dating world for a long time and Trixie has never dated ever. When she’s starts shadowing him and learning about the tattoo world feelings start to grow even more. The whole Eye Candy Ink family took her right in no questions asked, the found family was really strong in this one and I’m here for it.

Shaw Hart did a great job on Zeke. It was a great story. The plot and characters were strong. The story was written well. From the moment Zeke and Trixie met, there was an instant attraction, they were drawn to one another. The connection they shared was strong and their chemistry was sexy and sweet. They were just great together. Zeke would have done anything for Trixie, she was his world.
I enjoyed their journey.
I'm looking forward to reading more from Shaw Hart.

A really sweet read. Insta love. Older man and younger woman. The storyline was cute and entertaining. Loved Zeke and Trixie’s story. They were adorable together and had great chemistry. Overal a lighthearted and enjoyable read.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Zeke's meets Trixie when she comes into Eye Candy Ink, she's in college and is taking an art class. She needs to find examples in art where people don't normal see art. Zeke takes Trixie and shows her around the parlor. Trixie asks him how he became a tattoo artist and how he opened Eye Candy Ink. After an hour of Trixie just looking over the art of the walls, Zeke helps her with her backpack, telling her she has to come back to talk about tattoos. Mischa, Nico and Atlas go into Zeke's room to give him some pointers on how to win over Trixie. Sam calls down the hall to Zeke telling him he has a visitor. Trixie had to wait a few days before she headed back to see Zeke and finish her project for school. Zeke takes her back to his room and they spend the next two hours talking about the tattoo process. Zeke drives Trixie back to her dorm room, when he walks her to her room and she opens the door it's immediately shut. Zeke tells her she can come stay with him for the night. Zeke asks her if she is hungry and pulls out things to make a sandwich. After he gives Trixie a change of clothes and shows her the bathroom. When Zeke tells her he'll take the couch, she jumps onto it and asks him to tuck her in. The next morning Trixie makes them pancakes for breakfast, as they eat they talk about her classes. Zeke gives Trixie a ride back to her dorm room so she can head to her class. Trixie's roommates invite her out with them, she accepts. She attempts to follow after them but its useless. When she gets frustrated she heads for the door, Zeke calls her name when she looks up he's stopped at a red light. He reaches across and opens the door telling her to get in. He asks her why she is out and if she was drinking. She asks him why he's in this area. Zeke tells her he's going to check on Darcy's nursery, Atlas has a date planned for her and they can't go. When they get to her nursery he tells Trixie to stay in the vehicle. Trixie sees him in the light at the back door, so she climbs out of his vehicle. Trixie tells him he was suppose to be different, he's act like he likes her, and thought she was smart. She tells him he just yelled at her and treated her like a kid. She tells him he's not her dad or her boyfriend or even a friend, he's just some guy and he can't yell at her or treat her that way. Trixie spins and starts to walk back to her dorm room. Zeke grabs her by her arm and spins her back around, he tells her he's not just some guy to her and he hopes she feels the connected he feels. Zeke kisses Trixie, then he lifts her and her legs wrap around his waist. When Zeke gets a phone call her pulls away, he finishes and tells her he'll drive her back home. Nico comes in early to tell Zeke that Atlas and Darcy put security cameras up around her nursery. Zeke isn't quit sure what he is saying, then Nico tells him that Mischa and Atlas saw him making out with Trixie. When Mischa comes in he heads straight to Zeke's office followed by Atlas and Sam. When they start talking to Zeke about Trixie he tells them he hasn't ask her out on a date yet, they want to know why not. Zeke tells them he thinks he's to old for her. They tells him that ages doesn't matter, as long as she makes him happy. They all go in for a group hug, when they hear someone when they turn, Darcy, Indie and Max are there. Trixie is studying in her room, but she having a hard time since her two roommates are having sex, she can't go to the library it's closed. She decides to head to the coffee shop and when she opens the door Zeke is there, she grabs his arm and they head out to his vehicle. Zeke has a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. Trixie asks him what they are for and he tells her he wanted to asks her out on a date. She tells him she would love to. He asks her where she wants to go and when she tells him she was just going to the coffee shop he asks her if she wants to go back to his place. Zeke stops for burgers, fries and milkshakes, but they spot Mischa. When they get out Mischa tells them he texted Atlas, Nico and Sam. The next day, Zeke gets Trixie breakfast before he takes her to class, then heads to work. Trixie gets invited to girls night and Zeke picks her up to take her. On the way Trixie picks up his sketch pad and looks over his work, she sees a cherry blossom with the letters Z and another with a T. Trixie tells him she wants him to tattoo her with the Z, he tells her he'll do it for her. Zeke heads downstairs to hang out with the guys while the girls eat and dye their hair. When they guys come back upstairs, Indie tells Mischa that Sam is going to give her a piercing, Zeke tells them they can all go to the parlor, Trixie wants some ink done. After Zeke is finished he tells Trixie its her turn to tattoo him, she's never done one before so Mischa and Atlas help her. When they are finished he asks her if she is alright if they head back to his place. The next morning Zeke lets Trixie sleep in it's the first time she ever slept so late, they head out for breakfast and then get some groceries. Zeke made reservations of them to have dinner, but they decide to stay in instead. As Zeke is making dinner they have a make out session he pulls away when he keeps hearing a beeping. After they eat Zeke asks her if she wants to watch tv, she tells him no, he asks her what she want and she tells him him. Zeke pleasures her then they get physical. They wake the next morning to Trixie's phone ringing, when she gets it it is her mother, she is on campus looking for her. Zeke and Trixie head back to campus, she tells him she'll talk to her mother by herself and he tells her she's his and won't allow that. Trixie asks him to let her do all the talking. Trixie's mother asks her where she's been, what has she done with her hair and then asks who Zeks is. She tells her mother she was with Zeke, when her mother tells her she wants to talk alone, Trixie tells her no. Trixie asks her what she is doing here her mother tells her she got a phone call about her art project, and she isn't wasting her money on Trixie going to art school. Trixie tells her mother she never supported her dreams she only wanted her to follow hers. She tells her mother she doesn't want to go to this school, she wants to be an artist. Her mother tells her she's not paying for that and Trixie tells her she knows. Her mother tells her that Zeke isn't going to stick around, he'll take off on her. Trixie tells her mother that Zeke isn't like her father, she loves him and he loves her. Her mother leaves and Trixie asks Zeke if she can stay at his place, he tells her he was trying to find a way to asks her to stay with him. Zeke asks her if she's alright and she tells him yes. She tells him she doesn't deserve him, Zeke tells her she's the best thing that's happened to him. Six months later, they all huddle in the lobby of Eye Candy Ink, Sam and Max get married. Trxie started apprenticing for Zeke after her mother left. A week ago they found out she was pregnant but they're not telling anyone just yet. A week before Zeke asked her to marry him and she said yes. Five years later, Zeke stays at home with their two daughters, their first daughter they named Nicole, the second, Maxine. They got Zeke a puppy for Father's Day, he named Cherry Blossom they hoped it was a male but it wasn't. She asks him how she got so lucky, he tells her she walked into his tattoo shop.
Zeke's meets Trixie when she comes into Eye Candy Ink, she's in college and is taking an art class. She needs to find examples in art where people don't normal see art. Zeke takes Trixie and shows her around the parlor. Trixie asks him how he became a tattoo artist and how he opened Eye Candy Ink. After an hour of Trixie just looking over the art of the walls, Zeke helps her with her backpack, telling her she has to come back to talk about tattoos. Mischa, Nico and Atlas go into Zeke's room to give him some pointers on how to win over Trixie. Sam calls down the hall to Zeke telling him he has a visitor. Trixie had to wait a few days before she headed back to see Zeke and finish her project for school. Zeke takes her back to his room and they spend the next two hours talking about the tattoo process. Zeke drives Trixie back to her dorm room, when he walks her to her room and she opens the door it's immediately shut. Zeke tells her she can come stay with him for the night. Zeke asks her if she is hungry and pulls out things to make a sandwich. After he gives Trixie a change of clothes and shows her the bathroom. When Zeke tells her he'll take the couch, she jumps onto it and asks him to tuck her in. The next morning Trixie makes them pancakes for breakfast, as they eat they talk about her classes. Zeke gives Trixie a ride back to her dorm room so she can head to her class. Trixie's roommates invite her out with them, she accepts. She attempts to follow after them but its useless. When she gets frustrated she heads for the door, Zeke calls her name when she looks up he's stopped at a red light. He reaches across and opens the door telling her to get in. He asks her why she is out and if she was drinking. She asks him why he's in this area. Zeke tells her he's going to check on Darcy's nursery, Atlas has a date planned for her and they can't go. When they get to her nursery he tells Trixie to stay in the vehicle. Trixie sees him in the light at the back door, so she climbs out of his vehicle. Trixie tells him he was suppose to be different, he's act like he likes her, and thought she was smart. She tells him he just yelled at her and treated her like a kid. She tells him he's not her dad or her boyfriend or even a friend, he's just some guy and he can't yell at her or treat her that way. Trixie spins and starts to walk back to her dorm room. Zeke grabs her by her arm and spins her back around, he tells her he's not just some guy to her and he hopes she feels the connected he feels. Zeke kisses Trixie, then he lifts her and her legs wrap around his waist. When Zeke gets a phone call her pulls away, he finishes and tells her he'll drive her back home. Nico comes in early to tell Zeke that Atlas and Darcy put security cameras up around her nursery. Zeke isn't quit sure what he is saying, then Nico tells him that Mischa and Atlas saw him making out with Trixie. When Mischa comes in he heads straight to Zeke's office followed by Atlas and Sam. When they start talking to Zeke about Trixie he tells them he hasn't ask her out on a date yet, they want to know why not. Zeke tells them he thinks he's to old for her. They tells him that ages doesn't matter, as long as she makes him happy. They all go in for a group hug, when they hear someone when they turn, Darcy, Indie and Max are there. Trixie is studying in her room, but she having a hard time since her two roommates are having sex, she can't go to the library it's closed. She decides to head to the coffee shop and when she opens the door Zeke is there, she grabs his arm and they head out to his vehicle. Zeke has a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. Trixie asks him what they are for and he tells her he wanted to asks her out on a date. She tells him she would love to. He asks her where she wants to go and when she tells him she was just going to the coffee shop he asks her if she wants to go back to his place. Zeke stops for burgers, fries and milkshakes, but they spot Mischa. When they get out Mischa tells them he texted Atlas, Nico and Sam. The next day, Zeke gets Trixie breakfast before he takes her to class, then heads to work. Trixie gets invited to girls night and Zeke picks her up to take her. On the way Trixie picks up his sketch pad and looks over his work, she sees a cherry blossom with the letters Z and another with a T. Trixie tells him she wants him to tattoo her with the Z, he tells her he'll do it for her. Zeke heads downstairs to hang out with the guys while the girls eat and dye their hair. When they guys come back upstairs, Indie tells Mischa that Sam is going to give her a piercing, Zeke tells them they can all go to the parlor, Trixie wants some ink done. After Zeke is finished he tells Trixie its her turn to tattoo him, she's never done one before so Mischa and Atlas help her. When they are finished he asks her if she is alright if they head back to his place. The next morning Zeke lets Trixie sleep in it's the first time she ever slept so late, they head out for breakfast and then get some groceries. Zeke made reservations of them to have dinner, but they decide to stay in instead. As Zeke is making dinner they have a make out session he pulls away when he keeps hearing a beeping. After they eat Zeke asks her if she wants to watch tv, she tells him no, he asks her what she want and she tells him him. Zeke pleasures her then they get physical. They wake the next morning to Trixie's phone ringing, when she gets it it is her mother, she is on campus looking for her. Zeke and Trixie head back to campus, she tells him she'll talk to her mother by herself and he tells her she's his and won't allow that. Trixie asks him to let her do all the talking. Trixie's mother asks her where she's been, what has she done with her hair and then asks who Zeks is. She tells her mother she was with Zeke, when her mother tells her she wants to talk alone, Trixie tells her no. Trixie asks her what she is doing here her mother tells her she got a phone call about her art project, and she isn't wasting her money on Trixie going to art school. Trixie tells her mother she never supported her dreams she only wanted her to follow hers. She tells her mother she doesn't want to go to this school, she wants to be an artist. Her mother tells her she's not paying for that and Trixie tells her she knows. Her mother tells her that Zeke isn't going to stick around, he'll take off on her. Trixie tells her mother that Zeke isn't like her father, she loves him and he loves her. Her mother leaves and Trixie asks Zeke if she can stay at his place, he tells her he was trying to find a way to asks her to stay with him. Zeke asks her if she's alright and she tells him yes. She tells him she doesn't deserve him, Zeke tells her she's the best thing that's happened to him. Six months later, they all huddle in the lobby of Eye Candy Ink, Sam and Max get married. Trxie started apprenticing for Zeke after her mother left. A week ago they found out she was pregnant but they're not telling anyone just yet. I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and enjoyable. I liked all of Zeke's friends and workers. They were all so accepting of Trixie that it was awesome.

I liked that Zeke wanted Trixie to be herself and wanted to help her if he could. I loved that Zeke didn't assume anything when it came to Trixie and let her call the shots. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

My favorite, my favorite, my absolute favorite of the Eye Candy Ink series! Zeke is the father figure of the shop, a total DILF. And watching others in his makeshift family fall in love has him considering his own future. He never expected her to just walk into his shop, young and innocent and bright. Trixie attends a nearby college, as dictated by her domineering mother. But this petite artistic beauty has her little rebellions, namely an art class - which is what brings her into Eye Candy Ink. Zeke and Trixie are immediately smitten with one another. And it is so cute to watch them fumble around, trying to navigate their age difference, the uncertainty of feelings reciprocated, and then just finally go for it! For Zeke, Trixie appeals to his protective instincts, with he longs to nurture her as well. She fits in perfectly with his family of misfits. For Trixie, Zeke is someone who puts her first, gives her love, and shares his family with her. These two fits each other perfectly, sweet and sexy and heart warming. This story is a perfect escape from reality!
I'm excited to read about Nico finding his girl. I know this is a series that I'll be binge reading over and over again!

Another awesome installment in this fine series.
Eye Candy Ink by Shaw Hart is one of my favourite book series. Focusing on the talented tattoo artists that make up Eye Candy Ink . This was Zeke's story the owner of Eye Candy Ink and the pseudo Dad to them all.
Watching his family find love made Zeke think about what he had been missing in his life. His whole world revolved around his business and friends but he knew he was lonely and wanted what the others had in their lives.
In walks Trixie young beautiful and totally knocked him on his butt. She brought out his protective side and he wanted to know everything about her . She was a talented artist but under the thumb of her overbearing mother she had to put that part of her aside and do what her mother wanted her to do and that was business .
Throughout the story you see Trixie blossom from a shy introverted young woman to a confident self assured independent woman who with Zeke's love and support becomes the one thing she's always wanted to be . I loved this story and look forward to reading Nico next.

De las ocasiones que leo un age gap siempre termino enamorada de como se ve el complemento en los personajes pero con este libro fue otro nivel, el complemento, el ser el amor que no buscaban pero sabían que era el verdadero fue un gran confort a mi corazón el leer esta historia.
Debo decir que yo amé todos los libros pero debo decir que Zeke es mi vikingo favorito y en definitiva este es la mejor antelación para el broche de oro que será Nico, amo como este personaje luego de saber que quería encontro al amor de su vida, encontró el complemento perfecto a su amor y pasión por el arte, debo decir que amé tanto que trixie llegada justo cuando más la necesitaba zeke, amé que pudieran compartir el amor por el arte, amé lo protector que fue con ella y como aunque la protegió de todos y TODO, realmente creo que a eso debemos aspirar en una relación a que ambas partes protejas y ames fervientemente a tu pareja el que cuando te vea sienta que encontro su lugar su hogar y paz, amé que así veía zeke a trixie como su lugar como su hogar y cuando la vio la primera vez lo supo 😍

Eine schöne kurze Lovestory die einem zeigt das Liebe manchmal doch ausreicht um seine eignen Ketten zu sprengen.
Trixie war mir sehr sympathisch und in ihrer Geschichte entwickelt sie sich schnell weiter. Sie bekommt die Kraft und das Selbstvertrauen von Zeke und ihren neuen Freunden um ihr Ketten die ihre Mutter um sie gelegt hat zu trennen und ihren eignen Weg zu gehen.
Zeke ist einfach nur ein Traum von einem Mann. Bodenständig, loyal, hilfsbereit und doch manchmal unsicher. Es war schön wie er Trixie und seinen Freunden zur Seite stand und doch nicht bestimmend wurde, sondern sie ihren eigenen Weg gehen lässt. Auch er macht im laufe der Geschichte eine Entwicklung durch auch wenn diese kleiner wirkt als die von Trixie.
Da die Geschichte kurz ist, wirkt es alles sehr schnelllebigen aber nicht aufgesetzt oder erzwungen. Der schreibstil ist leicht und flüssig und man bekommt die Geschichte aus der Perspektive der beiden Protagonisten abwechselnd erzählt.

This older H romance was sweet though it's instalove. The H, unlike any other instalove, was not steamrolling his way through anything. He did have an instant attraction to h, but he decided to take the "scenic route" and taking his time to actually get to know h; he really put thought on his move and words carefully, while minding how young the h was. And I think it's sweet. I liked how the H was actually taking the effort to make sure the h knew exactly what she wanted on their relationship and taking charge of her life. It was a cute, sweet and warm and slow burn story.

What happens on campus, stays on campus? Romantic! Zeke, was 36 and contemplating dating. He was lonely since his artists were pairing up. He and Nico were the last single men. Trixie is researching for an art project and decides a tatoo parlor is a perfect example of art from a different perspective. She had heard good things about Eye Candy Ink. She and Zeke are instantly attracted to each other. They don't declare immediately. They just know they fit. Trixie has a controlling Mother, who picked what she wore and the classes she took. Mom never visited her on Campus. Can Trixe step up and talk to Zeke? Will Zeke overlook the age difference? Will Mom like Zeke? Nice story. I have been waiting on Zeke since we first met him in Atlas! He's the owner of Eye Candy Ink, very talented and he has taken the guys that work for him under his wing, being that steady in their lives that they needed. When he first sees Trixie in his shop it's an immediate spark and I loved how hard he was pulled to her. She was sweet and innocent but was living a life that her mother wanted, not her own choices. Their relationship grows, that bond strengthening and a great, quick story. I am looking forward to Nico's story!

Eye Candy is Zeke's life. His family, the group of ink artists who work for him. They gather around him like his kids and he is the dad of the group. He's happy with that until a beautiful petite woman walks in with a college project. Trixie is molding herself into the life her mother wants for her. When she walks in for a project, she sees Zeke and her life changes. This was such a good book. It really was. It made me smile and it was hot too.

Oh Zeke! The oldest of the bunch gets his girl after much deliberation with himself. Being the oldest doesn't mean he knows what's best when it comes to love or even how to do it for himself. It's fun seeing him fall in love at first sight but punishing himself because she is younger. I’m glad it didn’t take him too long to realize age doesn’t matter. I swooned so hard at his protectiveness and I loved seeing Trixie come out of her shell. The story is written so well and flows so well that I didn’t realize I was almost done I got to the end. Now I can’t wait for Nico.
