Raised as a debutante, ladylike, and reserved, London Jones has stepped into unknown territory. From the moment her life collided with a man who should’ve been off-limits, a bachelor with a hot reputation—staying out of his way was the sensible thing to do. However, she finds herself caught in a tangled web of passionate fervor whenever he comes near. So much so that her ability to place a barrier between them becomes a futile battle. The heart wants what it wants, and London’s heart yearns for him. Borboleta... She was the impetus of his desire. The only one who captured his eye for more than a moment and beckoned his soul to blend in beautiful bliss with hers. For software engineer Kyle Valentine, his attempt to hold back the hedonism that struck whenever they were together threatened to be his undoing. His heart yearned to connect with London’s soul, and soon he finds himself questioning if he’s worthy of her love. But now that he’s gotten next to London, determination becomes the motto for his pursuit and his ultimate will to hold on to her, forever.

The story line to this latest Valentine's Brother installment was actually refreshing. I enjoyed the way the author pulled from the latest topic around the country to incorporated it in the storyline (although, it was plain to see that Dexter would be the bad guy....not enough was built suspense or twist, it was easy to figure out) . I love the dynamic of Kyle and London....it really seem sincere....I must admit these characters for me have been established with the previous narrators....I LOVED that Wesleigh did have move POV chapters. But, to replace Jakobi...I wasn't pleased at all....From what I understand this is usually the publishing company that pushing forward with other narrators when the author's choice is unavailable not sure if this is the case with this project. The current male POV just didn't do it for me he was to flat...definitely NOT a Valentine Man....WESLEIGH Saved The Day for me!!!
I'm a little on the fence with Impromptu Seduction. While I enjoyed the book, there were times I didn't enjoy it. There was a lot of useless dialogue. The author could've easily shaved 10 chapters if she cut back on some of the unnecessary dialogue. There were so many unrealistic moments that had me rolling my eyes so hard they almost popped out. With that being said, I loved Kyle and London as a couple. They had very good chemistry and they fit really well together. Their relationship was intense, loving, and fun. The romantic courting and surprise get away to Brazil was beautiful and breathtaking. The so called plot twist was too easy to spot early on in the book. I figured out very quickly that Dexter had something to do with the missing women and that he would kidnap London. The newscast and the location app were dead giveaways. The author needs to do a better job of building up a suspenseful and climatic storyline without it being so obvious. I often say, if I can predict who the villain is three to four chapters in, you have failed as an author. I absolutely detest when an author brings in a new narrator on a series that has established narrators. No one wants to hear characters they're already familiar with voiced by a new narrator. While I like Leon Nixon, he was not a good fit for this book. He did not bring the Valentine men to life like Jakobi Diem. He was very monotoned and flat. His portrayal of the Valentine men was just not up to par. I was so looking forward to Impromptu Seduction being released on Audible and, while the addition of the new male narrator put a pin in my enjoyment, it was still a pretty good book.
Stephanie Nicole Norris is a remarkable storyteller. Her beautiful word flow, the exotic locations, the amazing imagery, and the sensual nuance that flows from scene to scene provides the perfect escape from some of the negativities of real life. I often find myself magically immersed into one of the most sexy and romantic worlds designed to spotlight black love. A world created by the wonderfully talented Stephanie Nicole Norris.
With a name like Valentine, readers have come to expect nothing but the creme de la creme of outstanding black men. In this conclusion to the "In the Heart of a Valentine Series," Kyle Valentine is just as smart, sexy, sensitive, and suave as the rest of his brothers and their father, and he had me captivated from the very beginning. I was already swooning hard, but when he put London at ease about beginning a sexual relationship and wanted to take things slow, I melted into a chocolate puddle. Not many men would have shown such restraint. I also can't mention Kyle without telling how I had to break out the tissues after that revelation surrounding the birth of Kyle and his brothers. My heart cracked wide open, and I can truly say that I was not expecting Ms. Norris to throw that in there. But it was both sad and beautiful, and I wanted to reach into my kindle and squeeze Kyle in a tight hug.
Now that we have all the brothers with their soulmates, I can now say that the Valentine men are the most romantic beings and so in tune with their sensual and passionate desires. I love a man who is confident--not arrogant--about his sexual prowess and don't mind mixing it up to keep things hot and spicy. 🔥🔥I also love how they are all just as dedicated to helping others and uplifting the community as they are to their careers. These are truly some well-rounded individuals. Knowing that Kyle was the last brother to get his HEA is bittersweet because I have enjoyed this series immensely, and it's hard letting go. I'm also overjoyed that Ms. Norris will be giving us short stories/snippets of the Valentines, and I truly look forward to it. I've loved every minute of this ride with the Valentines. Thank you Ms. Norris.💖💖
Impromptu Seduction by Stephanie Nicole Norris is about software engineer Kyle Valentine and caretaker/ founder of senior home care London Jones. We’ve seen these two circling each other for a couple books now, it was great to finally get their story. The story starts off slow while the passion and chemistry build. Kyle is attentive and protective which is great because London is a bit naive and unexperienced. There was also fun and sexy dates. I never saw it coming but Kyle Valentine is nasty nasty 🥵 🤤 (Siri play lil boosie ft. Mulatto ) and he speaks Portuguese 🦋 It was great to find out about the deceased Valentine brother Trevor through his bond with Trevor. The book also touched on the important topic of missing Black girls which brought a pinch of mystery, action and suspense to the story. I hope London’s cousin Carla and the Sharpton triplets get their own HEAs 😏
Stephanie Norris has out done herself yet again, this book had me living through London as I was reading the story if her and Kyle. The connection and bond that they shared was so awesome and displayed so excitingly within the pages of this book. I could not put the book down. It captivated me to the point I cancelled all other activities to read this masterpiece in peace to get the full feel of the characters. Stephanie Norris is a masterful author that keeps you interested and entranced by all he masterpieces that she gives to all her readers and her extended reading family. Job well done on yet another #1 bestseller must read. Love you from your Queendom sister. :-) can't wait for the next bestseller you have up your sleeve.
This was a really good story. It wasn't all sweet like I thought it would be. The drama took me completely by surprise. Kyle was incredibly sweet and he said some things that made me rewind a few times to hear again. I felt proud of Leon Nixon with this narration. I don't want to compare him to another narrator because that's unfair, but when the other narrator has narrated the other 7 books of the series and is god tier, that's big shoes to fill. He did well. I just wish he would put a little more bass in his voice to give it a little sex appeal. The story was great, Wesleigh was freaking magnificent! I'm very pleased with Sir and his Butterflies story.
Impromptu Seduction was simply wonderful. Although I've given a couple 5 stars in this series, this one really touched my heart. Kyle and London were very likeable characters...especially Kyle. I thought he was genuine and sweet...not to mention making me swoon with his speaking the foreign language. It was refreshing that the author incorporated a very publicized topic that is so current in today's communities. Dexter was just...gross but was good for the drama that was somewhat predictable about half way into the story. There is chemistry, attraction, incredible but imaginary sex scenes that you only wish and finding true love. The best story for me in this series of the handsome and virile Valentine men.
And Kyle's story did not disappoint. The journey of each brother finding true love has been wonderful......I knew Dexter was a creep but wow what a twist.....what's a girl to do now, ok....looking forward to the next series....
Kyle was the man.I think he is now my favorite Valentine Brother. Him and London are so sexy together. I love them together. I hate that this is the last Valentine Brother book. At least I can look forward to your books with them making cameos. Love this book.

"Impromptu Seduction" by Stephanie Nicole Norris
My Speculation:
What a great ending in this series "In The Heart of a Valentine" that featured London Jones, Kyle Valentine, along with the Valentine Brothers {Trevor}, their parents, and some of the Rose family. The author gives the reader a very intriguing story of what happens with London as she ventures into getting to know Kyle. It was quite interesting seeing them show their love for one another and Kyle taking charge when a twist presented itself, definitely taking care of his woman [his borboleta]. Also, it was good seeing how therapy helped so well in the story. And as always, this author always does an excellent job with her steamy hot intimate scenes. Did I enjoy this series? Yes, I did, and I also loved the book cover ...those eyes!
This was the most intense story in the series. It was definitely not the typical swoon worthy story and was very different from the previous ones. I’m happy about that because the previous stories started to become predictable. I did not see this twist coming at all. The story line was sadly very realistic and I’m happy to see that such an important topic was highlighted. It was good there was a happy ending unlike real life. Those Valentine brothers came in guns blazing!
I haven’t read a book by Stephanie Nicole Norris that I haven’t loved. This book of part of a series I am working my way through (In the Heart of a Valentine series). Just like the predecessors to this book, I was all in. I love how this book was a romance that contained a solid plot line. Sometimes romance novels lack anything outside of the love scenes. Not Stephanie’s books! They contain character development, real plots, and SPICE!
a little slow but overall a addition to the series.
This was my second attempt reading this and I’m glad I gave it another chance because it was actually quite enjoyable in the end, despite a slow and somewhat awkwardly plotted start and some questionable dialogue. The premise is that Kyle and London have been flirting for a while now (at least for a couple of previous books) and the chemistry between them is building. But London’s virginity and Kyle’s desire to take things slowly kind of puts them in a blow hot blow cold cycle. And when they finally seem to be making progress, London disappears.
I love this series for the Valentine brotherhood and unashamedly close and loving family unit and this shone clearly in this book. Unfortunately, I felt the characters were a little flat. I couldn’t quite suss out London’s personality and despite the dream storyline with Kyle, he didn’t have much character development. The suspense bit at the end came out of nowhere but I enjoyed it. This isn’t my favourite book in the series as I think the but it’s a solid addition to the series.
This books was worth the wait. I loved Kyle's and London's story. I loved how Kyle was upfront about what he wanted and took charge. Loved this story and sad that the Valentine's series came to an end.
The last Valentine brother of this eight book series, Kyle Valentine, is a software engineer who is enraptured by the lovely borboleta, London Jones. What’s a borboleta? Sorry, unless you understand Portuguese, you will have to read the story. While Kyle proves to be quite a challenge for London, he can not stop his growing desire to connect with her in every way possible. Ladies and gentlemen, creative writer, Stephanie Nicole Norris, breaks the sensual, sexy, steamy, OMG! meter when she penned this story. What a wonderful way to end a series!
I must confess that my absolute favorite scene occurs in Rio De Janeiro. Ms Norris has a mind-blowing gift for innovative sexy, romantic scenes. This particular one involves paragliding, and climaxes literally with a view of the Rio sunset. I’ll just leave that right there.
IMPROMPTU SEDUCTION is an entertaining and engaging story, and I recommend it. I also recommend the entire eight book series that chronicles the Valentine brothers (who are sextuplets) and their family and friends. You will not be disappointed, and you can thank me later!
I loved this story! I have been spoiled with this series and it's been oh-so good! The chemistry between Kyle and London had me fully engaged and wrapped in my own cocoon. The romantic courting and get-away to Rio De Janeiro was beautifully breathtaking; in addition, London discovered Kyle's other fluently spoken language and even her own special love tongue. Their coming together was intense, innovative, fun and fierce at times! Family, heritage, and legacy are strong themes in this series. The bond of these brothers (who are sextuplets) with their father is again wonderful to read and learning of Kyle's special connection with their deceased brother Trevor had me reaching for the Kleenex. I enjoyed how they encourage, support, and really rally around each other.
I was proud of this author's ability to include global issues such as mental illness and human trafficking in a contemporary romance novel, and handle these concerns in a manner that is believable and raises awareness. Ms. Norris is an amazingly talented author who writes with integrity. I look forward to book 9 (the last in this series I believe) and these marvelous men making ocassional appearances in her future work.
Sad to see the end of the Valentine's series, but happy that Kyle and London got their HEA.
They had this great chemistry song with the gradual build-up of sexual tension. I liked that Kyle was fluent in other languages, but the repeated "borboleta" happened a bit too often for me. I'm all for terms of endearment, but my parents also gave me a name. I don't mind it being used on occasion. But that's just me.
I thought that it was a nice twist with the storyline between Kyle and Trevor. Even the Dexter situation had its own surprising twists. I think it was obvious he was more than a bit strange, but.....wow.
This book had a nice steady rhythm that kept me reading from the beginning to the very last page in one sitting. It was romantic, sweet, and sexy. It also has a touch of danger and suspense. Finally it had that strong sense of family, love, loyalty, and support that we have come to expect with a Valentine story.
My first book of this author. Believe me, I will be reading more of her work!! At first I thought this is going to be drawn out. Was I EVER wrong!! The book captivates your heart and mind and then holds you hostage. Kyle is a real man. He could be a complete cocky bastard but he's not. He's strong and so-so masculine. He's a self made tech entrepreneur and rich. His presence fills the room. The story of his finding the correct woman in London was beautifully given. He was an rich eligible bachelor who had a relationship with God as well as his entire family. The intrigue of a close family member being so conniving and evil just took the story to higher heights. The story of the multiple birth of brothers was so touching and believable. Family loyalty, values and love was heartfelt. Kyle was a master or should I say "Sir" in the bedroom. An awesome, awesome read!
Loved the book AND the series! You MUST read these books!
I absolutely loved Kyle and London’s story!..just as I did with every other story about the Valentines and Roses. The twist towards the end with family friend completely left my mouth hanging open. I thought a different unforgivable act would transpire, but definitely not that! Whew! Talk about suspense! This book was bitter sweet. Couldn’t wait to read it, but was also extremely sad knowing this would be it for the Valentines. This book can be read alone, but I highly recommend starting with book one for the Valentines...or even starting with the Roses. I promise, you will feel like extended family by the end of either or both series. Can’t wait to see what the Clarks and Royals are up to, and hopefully crazy Carla ends up falling in love and gets a story! I can only imagine the adventurous tale that could unfold for her lol Bravo, Stephanie Nicole Norris! Bravo!
SNN got me my last Valentine brother! I've been waiting for Kyle's story and it did not disappoint. I love the chemistry Kyle and London have and seeing the growth of their relationship. The plot twist in the story was great and definitely different from the other Valentine stories. The only thing I did not like was the Portuguese nickname Kyle called London...it was literally making me cringe every time the narrators said it. Narration was done by Wesleigh Siobhan and Leon Nixon. Wesleigh did her thing and delivered great narration. Her male voice is amazing and her variation of female characters is outstanding. I think Leon did a good job having to fill some big shoes. It definitely took some getting used to since I was spoiled with another narrator for the previous books. But I think he did well overall, maybe deepen his voice a little more to have that dominating male appeal. Otherwise, great story!
Kyle Valentine has finally gotten his turn in the hot seat. As the last Valentine Brother to conclude the series, he doesn’t disappoint. Kyle and London adventures begins for us in New Year’s Eve and doesn’t let us go! Stephanie manages to create an Alpha male full of heart and compassion. Kyle manages to take over as book bae for all the Valentine Brothers, and that’s saying something. Stephanie is a magnificent story teller and does a fabulous job in concluding the Valentine series. Yes there is lots of hot sex! And if that’s not your thing, this ain’t the book for you. But there is plenty of story that unfolds between those sex scenes and you are doing yourself a disservice to not read this story. Impromptu Seduction is a great read!
I thought Hunter or Raphael were going to be my fav Valentine Man, but nope, it was Mr. Kyle Valentine, the baby of the sons, that did it. Aside from his caring, charming, loving, genius, and romantic ways, much like his older brothers, it was his heart felt suspense that pulled at me. The way you could see he was hurting and confused, yet happy and excited about his dream situation that made me need to find out more. And then his soul mate, better half to be Ms. London Jones and all her caring greatness; yep, this was the One! I absolutely LOVED the bond the brothers and father had in this book. Made them even more strong and appealing to me and I didn't think that could be with this already scrumptious bunch. This was un-surprisingly great bc this author writes so Phenomenally, that I expected nothing less. Highly recommend this series. Now, Book 9. Let's Go.
Wow London and Kyle! Their chemistry was off the charts! He was a real alpha male and he loves hard! London was the perfect one for Kyle! Steph dealt with real love stuff in this novel and it was really well written! The family friend, whew he was a sicko! I was so touched by the back story to Trevor and Kyle! It was so touching and heartfelt when Daddy Valentine shared the details of the loss of Trevor. The dreams were so real! I felt like it really is true you can communicate with your deceased loved ones in dreams! I really enjoyed this novel and I look forward to seeing the Valentine's in future reads! Hot steamy love affair with a HEA ending! Them Valentine men always have one another's back!
Listen Kyle was here for London from the beginning. Like who invites someone to a wedding in a whole nother country? Then on top of that Kyle waited to be intimate with London due it being London’s first time which was so nice. I loved that London was there for Kyle through the dreams he had of his brother Trevor and told him maybe he should speak to a therapist. Then the conversation Kyle had with his father and brothers was so needed for him to somewhat move on. Oh and Dexter is SICK. I was happy Kyle got to London before anything could happen to her. As sad as I am the Valentine series comes to an end, I’m happy we’ll see more of them in the future. Definitely can’t wait to read of Kyle and London’s wedding!
Kyles Story was heated and heart warming. While reading the stories of each of the Valentine Brothers I couldn’t help wondering how the love between he and London would turn out. I must say I was not disappointed. Kyles And London ‘s love was so sweet and yet extra lay heated. That second trip to Brazil the two of them took together ,all I can say is ...my,my,my 🔥🔥. The drama and obstacles that occurred also added to making this an enjoyable read. I would be remiss if I did not say how my heart was touched and warmed to learn more about the beloved brother Trevor Valentine and his connection to his brothers. Sweet story and enjoyable series.
I gave this book 3 star rating because it guest featured my favorite SNN couple: Jaden & Claudia Rose from the Falling For A Rose series, because one-half of the couple that the book Impromptu Seduction (ITHOAV Book 8) London was the friend & employee of Claudia. Like with DeAndre Valentine's book, "With your Permission", I couldn't really connect with the character of Kyle Valentine, like I kind of had with the other Valentine brother in the series. I found this book valuable because it was the one book I'd listened to via audible that EXPLAINED WHAT BECAME OF CLAUDIA & JADEN'S PREGNANCY INTRODUCING THEIR BABY: JADEN ROSE Jr., WHICH I COULDN'T FIND IN ANY OF THE PREVIOUS BOOKS. I did like that London found love & her own life with someone special to her: Kyle Valentine, though.
Oh I love this family. The men was such good lovers ,very attentive to their partners . Oh hate that this series is ending. Let's said this really a beginning for them to come back others ways. Please don't leave us in suspense. One day you are going have to a follow up on them sometimes. The story line to all 8 books was fantastic and so real like. When them men was living their wives, I felt . Lord how mercy. You have a great mind and you are a little freaky too. It was great taking this journey with you . And I love you also and your talent also. You have a fan for life. What's next the Roses guys , I hope
Why do I feel like crying AND smoking a cigarette right now? I have never smoked a day in my life! But the finale...baaabby, do yourself a favor and get into it. Initially it took me a few chapters to get into Kyle & London, but that's my fault because I missed the book before this one (don't do it). Every gem and nugget SNN breaths into these characters is a masterpiece. I laughed, I shifted in my seat (alot), added new songs to my playlist, I learned a new language (so sexy) I CRIED and cheered for London and Kyle. The imagery, heat and wordplay is just unreal for these stories. SISTER, You gift is simply amazing and I appreciate you so much!
Babbbbyyyyyy, now that is how you end a series!!! The Heart of a Valentine final journey with Kyle and London was everything. Stephanie you wrote the heck out of this, you took us to Brazil and now we all will be trying paragliding and installing hot tubs, LOL!! Kyle and London was made for each other from the very beginning. The love shown between the two was amazing. Kyle took care of London and I cried, laughed, and was mad a few times but it was all worth the wait. I really do hate to see this series end but I am definitely looking forward to your next journey!!!
I'm all in my feelings, just wow... Stephanie, this series was amazing☺ and Kyle and London's story was the perfect ending. I love their journey getting to know each other, the eroticism of their emotions and feelings, how things were expressed; the value of safety and security, just wow! I was so moved reading this book and I knew Dexter was up to no good smh... I especially love all the injected song selections, a lot of these artists or songs are new to me but now I have a great playlist going to get my love on😊😊... So thank you Ms. Stephanie Nicole Harris, I cannot wait to read more.
